Shaykh (Dr.) M. Riyad H. Nadwi is a distinguished Islamic scholar and academic, known for his extensive study of traditional Islamic sciences and his contributions to the fields of Islamic theology, science, and politics. He is a graduate of Dar al-Uloom, Nadwatul ‘Ulama in Lucknow, India, where he spent twelve years under the tutelage of the esteemed Shaykh Abul Hasan ‘Ali Nadwi (rh) and other prominent scholars of the Indian sub-continent. This rigorous education provided him with a deep and comprehensive understanding of classical Islamic knowledge.

For the past 18 years, Dr. Riyad Nadwi has been residing in Oxford, where he has served in various academic roles. His scholarly pursuits are complemented by a doctorate in Cognitive Science, which enables him to bridge the gap between traditional Islamic teachings and contemporary scientific thought.
