00:00:00 --> 00:00:11
			Bismillah Alhamdulillah wa Salatu was Salam ala Rasulillah early he was so happy he was salam la
Malema and fowl now and finally Matt I lived in I was in a noble Alameen

00:00:12 --> 00:00:18
			Allah my nalidixic was Shoukry cow his neighbor retic Amma bad

00:00:19 --> 00:00:28
			so in Hadith number 13 Our Hadith for tonight inshallah or today if you're watching us and it's
daytime

00:00:31 --> 00:00:34
			it's a famous hadith is a really well known Hadith

00:00:35 --> 00:00:39
			and it's where Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said

00:00:40 --> 00:00:46
			and more me know I'll call you how you don't worry about it Allah him in a minute the if you have
equal in height.

00:00:47 --> 00:00:51
			He said the strong believer is better

00:00:52 --> 00:00:57
			and more beloved to Allah than the weak believer though there is good and both.

00:00:59 --> 00:01:04
			Then he said la Salatu was Salam. Ala MA and Volker was staying below he went adages.

00:01:05 --> 00:01:08
			strive to attain what benefits you

00:01:09 --> 00:01:13
			and seek Allah's assistance and do not be helpless.

00:01:15 --> 00:01:19
			When I saw Becca she own fella taco low and nice to get our together.

00:01:21 --> 00:01:26
			Well I can call her Allahu Allah, Masha, I find that out of the WHO Amira, shaytaan

00:01:27 --> 00:01:40
			and if he may have the misfortune befalls you, if something bad happens to you do not say, if I had
done this and that it would have been this in that meaning different, the outcome would have been
different.

00:01:41 --> 00:02:01
			But say Allah had decreed and he does whatever He decrees, whatever he wants, whatever He wills for
in a load of the Hello, I'm Anna shaytaan because that statement of if I had done differently that
opens the work and the door for the work of the shaytaan.

00:02:03 --> 00:02:10
			So, this hadith is an important Hadith on many levels and we are going to be focusing

00:02:11 --> 00:02:18
			on a question of why is it that Allah has Odin loves the strong believer more?

00:02:19 --> 00:02:43
			And I want you to think about the answer to that question as we are explaining the Hadith. See if
you can get why is it that Allah azza wa jal is the strong believer more than the weak believer
though the Prophet sallallaahu Salam said there is good in both. But the strong believers stance
higher and closer to Allah subhana wa Tada. And there is a reason for that.

00:02:45 --> 00:02:49
			Now, let's answer the question of what is we mean by the strong?

00:02:50 --> 00:02:54
			The strong believer what type of strength are we talking about?

00:02:55 --> 00:03:00
			We understand strength to be physical strength. That's one kind of strength.

00:03:01 --> 00:03:07
			And if we were to imagine that the Prophet Alayhi Salatu was Salam was referring to physical
strength.

00:03:08 --> 00:03:15
			Then we would wonder, why would physical strength make a person more beloved to Allah azza wa jal
and would it.

00:03:16 --> 00:03:28
			So one physical strength or an aspect of physical strength is a is an endowed natural strength,
meaning naturally, he is stronger than the other person naturally.

00:03:29 --> 00:04:08
			And we understand from the Quran from the Sunnah, that if Allah azza wa jal gifts, you a physical
gift that in itself does not favor you. Does it make you better in the eyes of people, even though
people favor you because of it? So people favor color above another. Right? Right? People do that.
People favor, the attractive and the beautiful over those who are not. So they enjoy more attention
and praise. And they get more of what they want in the dunya because they're more attractive.

00:04:09 --> 00:04:51
			But obviously, this is not what Allah says. It looks at people. Physical strength, if Allah just
gave it to you, that's not in itself a reason for you to be better in Allah with Allah as though did
with humanity. Yes, with humanity, they love the strong, they admire them physically, right? Meaning
the beauty of the, the physique of the strong, and the actions of the strong that they admire. But
Allah Azza did simply gave you this, so this cannot be the reason that is stated in the Hadith. And
even a person interjects and says, well, some strength is acquired, isn't it? Because you could
exercise and you could build up your muscles and you could be stronger?

00:04:52 --> 00:05:00
			Does that make you more favorable in the eyes of Allah azza wa jal, just like if you beautify
yourself more, does that make you more

00:05:00 --> 00:05:16
			Beautiful in the eyes of Allah as a surgeon, when we say this exists only at the superficial skin
level, at the physical level, even if you acquire it, the question here is why are you acquiring all
of that?

00:05:17 --> 00:05:27
			So you understand that, and we're going to make a generalization here, but most people who acquire
physical strength, are they doing it for Allah as origin?

00:05:29 --> 00:05:47
			No, right. And most people who exercise, they go to the gym, are they doing it for Allah as the
origin? No, they're not. They're doing it for the sake of the self, of how they look at themselves
and how other people look at them for admiration for praise.

00:05:48 --> 00:06:41
			And, in fact, the attention that we pay to the physical self, oftentimes, because it's not grounded
in Eman moves us away from Allah Azza Jinnah, closer to it. So what happens when you feel that
you're stronger? You become more what? Humble or arrogant? Humble, humble, arrogant. When you think
that you have become thinner and more beautiful, do you become more arrogant or humble? Arrogant, so
it doesn't actually feed your iman. When you focus on the physical like that without a grounding in
taqwa and in knowledge, and in proximity to Allah azza wa jal, you actually stray further away from
him. subhanho wa taala. Because of these physical strength, just think about most people who have

00:06:41 --> 00:07:22
			money, how their money doesn't help them come closer to Allah as urgent but becomes an obstacle,
isn't it? Money, most of the time is an obstacle that takes you away from Allah subhanaw taala you
need to struggle against that physical gift to be closer to him. subhanaw taala so then we
understand that Allah azza wa jal is not really talking about physical strength, not about physical
power. And we have something from the Prophet alayhi salatu salam In another Hadith to confirm this.
It is what he said la Salatu was Salam in Allah, Allah Yun, Laura isla. So what do you call more
inwardly Cool, well, I can handle Rila Kulu become more American, Allah azza wa jal is does not look

00:07:22 --> 00:07:30
			at your appearances and money. But he looks at what your hearts and deeds

00:07:31 --> 00:07:36
			which is really ironic when you think about how we look at people.

00:07:37 --> 00:07:38
			How do we look at people

00:07:39 --> 00:07:51
			when you value or when you want to estimate a person when you want to judge a person, you judge them
based on what these two categories appearance, and money,

00:07:52 --> 00:08:02
			all the news. And really, this is important for you to internalize, because you have to resist this
every single day and have it not affect you.

00:08:04 --> 00:08:31
			They have news when it focuses on celebrities and entertainers and famous people their fame because
of what comes from what these two things and appearance that is attractive, or money that they
generate somehow, if not, no one cares about you. It's Subhan Allah for all those who do not have
this and they feel left out and neglected and ignore.

00:08:32 --> 00:09:03
			The Hadith of the Prophet sallahu wa Salam is telling them Allah does not see you the way humans see
you. What is so comforting and soothing? Allah does not look at you the way humanity looks at you,
but he looks at what is deep inside, which is your heart. If you fix it, if it's cure, and if it is
right, then you are great with Allah azza wa jal. And so also a person does not say well, it's only
on the inside and it doesn't matter what I do on the outside the Hadith adds who are Medicham and
your deeds, so your deeds matter.

00:09:05 --> 00:09:44
			So we here understand that it's not that skin deep, superficial strength, that the Prophet Alayhi
Salatu was Salam is talking about and which Allah azza wa jal admires. And he can even expand this
physical strength to include or strength in general to include power. People are powerful in speech.
Those who are attractive, they have power, those who have money, they have power, those who have
lineage they have power, so of all types of power, that power gives you access. Does this make you
better with Allah azza wa jal on its own it doesn't. Right. So another Hadith that is also well
known Lisa shall do Lisa shady, do you Surah

00:09:45 --> 00:09:49
			we're lacking the shed eat Allah the only coin of Soho in Delgado.

00:09:50 --> 00:09:59
			The one who's strong is not the one who overpowers people physically, because that's the standard
definition but is the one who controls himself when they are a

00:10:00 --> 00:10:00
			agree

00:10:01 --> 00:10:07
			that tells you that Islam, the Quran and the Sunnah redefine what power is.

00:10:09 --> 00:10:09
			Now,

00:10:11 --> 00:10:12
			if you have Amen,

00:10:15 --> 00:10:19
			you are required you are asked you are recommended to seek power.

00:10:21 --> 00:10:22
			But hear for the sake of what

00:10:24 --> 00:10:25
			Allah has

00:10:26 --> 00:10:58
			not for the sake of the self, not for the elevation of one's name, or status, but for the sake of
Allah azo did so that this power of yours could serve him Subhanallah with that, meaning that
ideally everything that you must have, that you have that you want to have, you want to redirect it
in ways that serve Him subhanho wa Taala because in that way, it becomes valuable and in that way it
lasts and in that way it helps you and it has meaning because otherwise it comes back to harm you

00:11:00 --> 00:11:16
			your own obsession with your own physical power or beauty. If it's allowed to run wild without any
restraint, comes back to destroy you. And if you just need evidence, why do people go through
plastic surgery for what?

00:11:18 --> 00:11:52
			Right? Or they or they take injections to become more powerful with bigger muscles for what that
obsession had come from what and obsession with the self without the filter of the Divine? Without
Allah azza wa jal telling them stop this is too much. Stop this is not your focus. This is not how
you're supposed to be thinking about your physical body. Physical body should be in service of other
things that are higher, it doesn't become the center.

00:11:53 --> 00:11:58
			So Allah is lived at SR I doula home Mr. Tato min, Kuba

00:11:59 --> 00:12:14
			prepare for them, meaning for your enemies whatever power you can amass. Here, Allah azza wa jal is
commanding the Muslims that in order for you to protect yourself, defend yourself you need to have
some sort of power. But what is it for Linda Azadi?

00:12:15 --> 00:12:29
			That's how Allah azza wa jal blesses you with your power and in fact, for those who want real power
and a real blessing from him Subhana wa Tada and we'll see a couple of evidence to illustrate that.

00:12:31 --> 00:12:35
			The more pleasing you are of Allah azza wa jal, the more powerful you will be.

00:12:37 --> 00:12:44
			For you, the more pleasing you are of him SubhanaHu wa to Allah, Allah gives you more power.

00:12:45 --> 00:13:12
			So there is just a hip one example and then in a couple of minutes we'll bring another example but
in one example here where Allah is limited says, we are only self your aura become full Matobo Ed.
It says unmindful Oh my people ask Allah to forgive you your Rob to forgive you and the repent to
Him. You receive his summer la comida rara he will send the rain upon you abundantly, meaning He'll
bless you would rain.

00:13:13 --> 00:13:20
			Why as it can overturn either what you command, he increases you in power in addition to the power
that you have.

00:13:21 --> 00:13:23
			Meaning you are powerful.

00:13:24 --> 00:13:51
			But if you believe in Allah azza wa jal and you repent, what do you get first? As this ayah says,
blessings from the sky meaning rain that Allah blesses the land, blesses the crops, the animals, the
money that you have. And then physically, he gives you more power, he gives you children, he gives
you progeny, he blesses your families. Where does this come from? Allah azza wa jal because of Eman,
so Iman, gives you power

00:13:53 --> 00:14:00
			in addition to the power that you seek, so anybody else who wants any blessing, worldly blessing
from Allah azza wa jal.

00:14:01 --> 00:14:03
			Don't seek it from the haram.

00:14:04 --> 00:14:11
			You want to be beautiful, you want to be attractive, you know the best thing to do? Obey Allah azza
wa jal

00:14:12 --> 00:14:16
			because sin leaves a black mark on the face and on the heart.

00:14:18 --> 00:14:23
			But you want to really be beautiful, obey Allah Zota. And because the light will emanate from you.

00:14:24 --> 00:14:59
			You want to be physically strong obey Allah azza wa jal, he'll preserve your physical strength for
you. You want blessings in your money and your children obey Allah and avoid the haram. So the more
that you do of this, the more power Allah has zodion gifts to you. But if you disobey Him in the
name of power as people do today, if you want to be poor and powerful, what do you do? They go
against Allah azza wa jal, you don't realize that Allah is gonna take that power away from you
sooner or later. So Subhan Allah, again, it is catastrophic, ironic. How the very thing that we are
seeking

00:15:00 --> 00:15:04
			We will be denied because we upset him subhanho wa taala.

00:15:06 --> 00:15:06
			So,

00:15:09 --> 00:15:11
			examples are the strong believer

00:15:13 --> 00:15:15
			that Allah azza wa jal loves

00:15:17 --> 00:15:18
			is the believer of iman

00:15:20 --> 00:15:21
			mineral Kawi

00:15:22 --> 00:15:33
			who is Hi Ron what I have better and more beloved to Allah, then the weaker. We are talking about
the believer who is strong in his Iman,

00:15:34 --> 00:15:37
			even though he may be physically weak.

00:15:39 --> 00:15:46
			Now if he's strong, and he uses his strength to obey Allah as his origin, that's a bonus.

00:15:47 --> 00:15:52
			But the actual thing that is being praised here is the strength of iman

00:15:55 --> 00:15:58
			because the presence of one person

00:15:59 --> 00:16:10
			with iman, though he may be physically weak. He can't help it. He basically weak is better than 10
with weak Eman or physically strong.

00:16:12 --> 00:16:19
			So Ramadan Hatha Radi Allahu Anhu. He said something similar to La Sol totaal Hatfield Jaysh.
hiraman Elfi. Raju

00:16:21 --> 00:16:31
			is the sound of Talhah or the Allahu adenoma Germain the sound of Tal Hara the Allahu Anhu in the
army, in His presence is better than 1000 men.

00:16:34 --> 00:16:56
			Here we're not talking about human physical strength, because no one human can overcome 1000 But
with Allah azza wa jal, His presence is better than the presence of 1000 so you understand here and
another Hadith the Prophet Alayhi Salatu was Salam he said, Well hold on Soluna were tourists the
Hoonah interview co author Aiko,

00:16:58 --> 00:17:04
			are you given victory and provided for except because of the weak among you?

00:17:05 --> 00:17:25
			Right, are you given victory and being provided for except because of the weak among you saw, a
person could be feel physically weak, but with Allah azza wa jal, he deserves because of his dua and
his rest presents a victory from Allah subhanahu wa Tada. So the strength is the strength of emotion

00:17:27 --> 00:17:34
			and the strength of emotion that we want, we can say that it has three pillars.

00:17:35 --> 00:17:45
			One is knowledge. And that's in the book. One is knowledge. The second is commitment. And the third
is the worship of Allah azza wa jal.

00:17:46 --> 00:17:47
			You need to be strong

00:17:48 --> 00:17:49
			in all three.

00:17:50 --> 00:17:56
			So the first is strong strength in knowledge. If you are ignorant, you can be strong.

00:17:57 --> 00:18:13
			If you don't know your religion, you can be strong. How would you know what Allah loves? How do you
know what Allah hates? How do you know what to avoid? How would you be able to answer doubts and
confront temptations? If you have no knowledge is the shaytaan can bring one whisper

00:18:14 --> 00:18:20
			and destroy you. One whisper and misguide multitudes because of you, one,

00:18:21 --> 00:18:33
			because you don't know how to push, you don't know how to clarify. Right? So one scholar is tougher
on the shaytaan and 1000 worshippers.

00:18:35 --> 00:18:55
			One scholar, meaningful person who knows is tougher and more severe against the shaytaan than 1000
worshiper because he could sway the worshipers easily, because they lack knowledge but the item is
different. So if you want to be strong in the religion of Allah azza wa jal, then the first thing
that you're supposed to do is what?

00:18:56 --> 00:18:56
			Learn

00:18:58 --> 00:19:30
			to be strong, learn it. Right? And learn it with appetite with greed, even learn and keep learning
whatever you find an opportunity you learn. Whenever you find a benefit, you record it and you
memorize it and you memorize even more, because the stronger you are, the stronger everybody around
you is. You want the OMA Muhammad Ali salatu salam to be strong beyond wishes, you will be strong
because you will strengthen a chain of people around you. So learn and seek it and be serious about
it. That's one.

00:19:32 --> 00:19:38
			The second is and by the way, learn what what is the foundation of our knowledge, two things,

00:19:39 --> 00:19:54
			Quran and the Sunnah, the Quran and the Sunnah. These are the foundations. So learn your Quran
itself. See, learn the Hadith of the Prophet Alayhi Salatu was Salam and what it means this is the
foundation. Everything else comes from them. If you have that they'll understand everything else.

00:19:55 --> 00:19:57
			So that's knowledge second is commitment.

00:19:59 --> 00:20:00
			You commit yourself

00:20:00 --> 00:20:44
			They say this is the truth, I want to follow it, I want to understand it, I want to spread it. I
want to live it. So a commitment to it beyond me or knowledge, knowing is something but now what do
you want to do with it? So you commit yourself to it. And you decide how you want to commit yourself
to it internally and externally, you belong to Allah subhanho wa taala. So that's the second. The
third one is worship of Allah azza wa jal. And sometimes you find among us imbalance, we worship
more, but no less. And some of us do the opposite. We know a lot more, but we worship less, and
another until you have a balance of the two, you know, and you worship because both of them

00:20:44 --> 00:20:45
			reinforce each other.

00:20:47 --> 00:20:50
			The more you know, the more that you're supposed to be

00:20:51 --> 00:21:21
			closer and more devoted to him SubhanaHu wa Tada it gives you that access, it opens your heart. But
if it stops there, it hasn't done its job. But when you stand in Salah when you read the Quran, when
you give sadaqa When you fast, you feel the effect of everything that you have learned. And Allah
opens other doors of knowledge and realization that were not available before. If you believe that
you'll understand everything, if you read a book, you're wrong.

00:21:24 --> 00:21:31
			You need practice. And practice will come to reinforce, solidify and then open your eyes to
understand what you've read.

00:21:32 --> 00:21:50
			And then what you've read will open other doors for you in worship and so on and so on and so on. So
this is how you become strong with Allah azza wa jal, a strong believer. And here is a Hadith and
it's really a beautiful Hadith. It's on page 139 into power one, page 140

00:21:51 --> 00:21:58
			Where Rasulullah sallallahu wasallam is speaking about three whom Allah loves and three whom Allah
hates.

00:21:59 --> 00:22:15
			And you will find evidence in them a strength of a man that emanates from if you ever wonder how
could they do these things? It must come from loving Allah subhanho wa Taala because the level of
sacrifice in it is great.

00:22:16 --> 00:22:46
			So the first he said, sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam said artha to you hipbone Allah, three people
Allah loves and three people Allah hates the people that Allah loves. He says the first that a man
who confronts a enemy in battle and he is among company and battalion or people who are fighting the
enemy file Cebula home now he stands steadfast, either he dies, or they are victorious, that is him
he is standing between them and his company.

00:22:48 --> 00:22:51
			That is a person of Allah azza wa jal Luz

00:22:54 --> 00:22:56
			until either he is killed,

00:22:57 --> 00:23:01
			or they are victorious, he doesn't flee. That's the first

00:23:02 --> 00:23:30
			and the second he says will homo Yousefi Runa fail to lose raw home it says people who are traveling
and they travel long at night until they crave sleeping had their you hipbone AMS to a lot they
crave the really one asleep. So when they get off their mounts and they want to sleep, one of them
steps asides aside and he keeps praying until he wakes them up when it's time for them to travel.

00:23:32 --> 00:23:37
			And he says the third is a person who has a neighbor who hurts him harms him.

00:23:38 --> 00:23:46
			And he is patient with that harm until they are separated with either death or relocation.

00:23:48 --> 00:24:09
			And he says the three whom Allah azza wa jal hates, is a merchant, who often swears falsely, often
upon his merchandise, while the three year old man Nan, the one who is stingy and reminds people of
His favors, while 50 Euro al McDowell, and the arrogant for

00:24:10 --> 00:24:13
			now, if you think about it, the first three

00:24:15 --> 00:24:37
			what prompts a person right to do what he did, which is that stand in the face of the enemy? In one
sense, protecting his company. And another sense also elevating the name of Allah azza wa jal until
he's either killed or they are victorious, meaning he's sacrificing his life. That is strength.
Right?

00:24:39 --> 00:24:40
			Where does the strength come from?

00:24:41 --> 00:24:43
			The hours that you spend in the gym.

00:24:44 --> 00:24:45
			Where does it come from?

00:24:46 --> 00:24:59
			From EMA and it's here, it's on the inside. Right? So humara Dlo unright. When he would speak to the
Sahaba he said, make sure that you don't disobey Allah azza wa jal, you're not given victory because
of your numbers.

00:25:01 --> 00:25:46
			Giving victory because of Allah azza wa jal because most an all the times when they confronted an
enemy, they overpowered them 10 times or more. This is not your numbers that give you that strength.
It is Allah azza wa jal and there's an iron we're gonna see each. So this first person gave up his
life. Why? Because of Allah azza wa jal where did this strength come from? Loving ALLAH SubhanA wa
Taala and Iman is the second person, right? Traveling at night, everybody's desperate, dying to
sleep, he doesn't sleep he continues to fray the remaining night until he wakes them up. How could
you resist your physical body and push away sleep unless there is something much dear to you? Who

00:25:46 --> 00:25:47
			gave him that strength?

00:25:48 --> 00:25:53
			They couldn't they couldn't physically they're exhausted who gave him that strength to continue to
pray.

00:25:55 --> 00:26:02
			Now he Iman is something different. Eman is a different level. It's a different experience.

00:26:03 --> 00:26:14
			And the third person who had a bad neighbor that maybe he's telling me I can't relate to the first,
I can't relate to the second, but you can relate to an annoying neighbor.

00:26:15 --> 00:26:24
			What makes him tolerate that neighbor and his harm? Till the end? Death or relocation? What type of
strength

00:26:25 --> 00:26:33
			and fortitude for you to any that you must have to endure that day after day, day after day, day
after day.

00:26:35 --> 00:26:48
			Right? Can you imagine like at one point right with a neighbor that you hate who's loud sometimes
you know, obnoxious, you know, doesn't take care of their frontier. I mean the yard doesn't doesn't
do much.

00:26:49 --> 00:26:51
			You want to just you don't know what to do.

00:26:53 --> 00:27:05
			But who gives that person the patience? That's again, that's EMA. And that's that's the thing
whenever you find yourself down and unable to tolerate and deal with things, push your Eman up.

00:27:06 --> 00:27:22
			So you can do push your iman up with Quran with dua with thicker was something but push your iman up
so that you can deal with whatever is troubling you the way that they are dealing with it. And
understand that Allah as origin is right behind you, supporting you.

00:27:24 --> 00:27:33
			So you are not supporting yourself and you're not dependent on people. You are dependent on the
support of ALLAH SubhanA wa Tada.

00:27:34 --> 00:27:37
			Right. So Allah gives you

00:27:38 --> 00:27:53
			energy to move beyond what you're capable of. And Allah azza wa jal gives you an ability that lies
beyond what you think is possible for yourself. So the idea here where Allah subhana wa Tada

00:27:55 --> 00:27:55
			said,

00:27:57 --> 00:28:18
			in the incredible power that it gives, He says, e are coming from a Sharon Asadero Natalie Bumi I
think where you're coming from me are two young people elfin mean under the unica photo. It says if
among you, there were to be 20 who are patient, they will defeat and overpower 200.

00:28:19 --> 00:28:23
			And if they were to be 100, they could overpower and defeat 1000.

00:28:24 --> 00:28:35
			Right? Of course, Allah azza wa jal later in the sewer, right? And he exempts the believers from
this, and they could fight an enemy up to double their size.

00:28:37 --> 00:28:40
			But this one still stands then.

00:28:42 --> 00:28:43
			And today to

00:28:44 --> 00:28:53
			write yes today to but the condition is what patients so imagine having 20 Defeating 200

00:28:55 --> 00:29:00
			But like physically, right, mathematically, you don't think that that's possible 20 to fight 200?

00:29:02 --> 00:29:05
			or increase the number 100 to 1000?

00:29:06 --> 00:29:11
			You say no, the imbalance here? Right? is definitely on their side.

00:29:12 --> 00:29:20
			But it's not weaponry. And it's not armory. And it's not. It's not these things alone, the physical
thing matters, but only up to what level.

00:29:22 --> 00:29:25
			The most important thing is conviction.

00:29:27 --> 00:29:27
			Conviction

00:29:29 --> 00:29:37
			and conviction that is based on what Allah loves, is undefeatable cannot be defeated.

00:29:38 --> 00:29:42
			Now, we are incredibly fortunate

00:29:43 --> 00:29:49
			that in this hadith and in similar a hadith the Prophet Alayhi Salatu was Salam tells you have to be
strong.

00:29:50 --> 00:30:00
			Like instructs you how to be strong. And you have to be grateful that you have this Italy as if the
Bronx already said Miss telling you here. You don't have to figure this out.

00:30:00 --> 00:30:19
			out here it is taken this digested. So here I call I call that the roadmap to strength, but again a
strength that Allah azza wa jal loves. So the first one is were the prophets on that they used to
Salatu was Salam said in the Hadith, his other million folk

00:30:20 --> 00:30:26
			strive This is number one in the roadmap, the strength to strive towards what benefits you

00:30:29 --> 00:30:35
			and for you to strive towards what benefits you you have to know what benefits you

00:30:36 --> 00:30:41
			right? How do you know what benefits you what is the beneficial and the harmful?

00:30:42 --> 00:30:43
			Who tells you,

00:30:44 --> 00:30:45
			Allah xuejun

00:30:47 --> 00:31:18
			and Rasul Allah has a lot to use. So that's where knowledge comes in know what is beneficial, and no
one is harmful, be able to distinguish between them, and now eagerly sees what benefits you run
after it. Ask for it. Strive, don't give up. They say what what is going to give me the motivation
to do all of this. It says what gives you motivation to do anything in life, but realizing the goal
deserves the effort.

00:31:19 --> 00:32:00
			So again, revisit why is it that you're doing I only have this meaning? Do you want Jana? Do you
want the hereafter? Do you want your life to make sense because I understand at times when we say
gender and the hereafter is if we're talking talking about something is so far off in the future
that it doesn't matter right now. Let's talk about the hearing now. Do you want to be happy now? Do
you want like for your life to make sense? Do you want to be able to answer life's more difficult,
most difficult questions? Why am I here? Why am I alive? Does it matter? If my life? Why do I
suffer? What's the meaning of all of this? Do you want it to all make sense? Do you want to be able

00:32:00 --> 00:32:39
			to repel the shaytaan? And his whispers? Do you want to live happy? How will you be able to do all
of this? If Islam is not there? If the answers of Islam are not there? What answers do you have? You
just get to eat and drink and be happy? Then repeat, eat and drink and be happy? What do you do when
you become sick? What do you do? When are you going to lose a loved one and you have to lose a loved
one? What are you going to do when you fail? What is the answer? Then we'll come back to Allah azza
wa jal, but these things could destroy you because you're not ready. So you're saving yourself here.
And now before we were even talking about the day of judgment here. And now if you're not going to

00:32:39 --> 00:32:45
			save yourself with Islam, then modern life contemporary life is going to crush you.

00:32:47 --> 00:32:55
			You're not going to be able to save yourself, let alone your spouse, let alone your children.
Because you don't have the hunger, the strength to do this.

00:32:56 --> 00:33:14
			And you're addicted to the dunya like everybody else. So if what you want is valuable, then seize
it, seek it run after it has other myInfo. You see the people of the dunya, if they can get $1, they
will run after it. Now be as greedy.

00:33:16 --> 00:33:18
			If you get a Hassanal run after it.

00:33:20 --> 00:33:48
			One hasn't run after it because that hasn't a good be the thing that makes you happy today. And I
even want me to be talking about the Day of Judgment. It's coming and it will be most beneficial
then, but today is going to push a good push away. A bout of depression, anxiety, a whisper of the
shaytaan an illness a physical illness, a testing that visits your kids, it could do that. What has
enough to seize it

00:33:50 --> 00:34:00
			and will make you feel better and closer to him. subhanho wa taala. And if you say yourself, I mean
I'm lazy, I'll force yourself until it's a habit.

00:34:02 --> 00:34:08
			You remember when you used to have to study or maybe some of you are still and you say I don't feel
like it? What do you do?

00:34:10 --> 00:34:24
			You force yourself. You create the atmosphere for study. Because you need to say the same thing. You
force yourself until it's a habit. Don't surrender to it, and say I'm lazy, I'm tired, there are
better things to do.

00:34:25 --> 00:34:58
			So strive, that's number one towards what benefits you run after it. So with your heart and with
your body. What Stein Billahi when attaches, and seek Allah's assistance, ask him for help. And
don't be helpless. Not just don't sit back and say I tried and I failed. Or if in if I try I'll fail
Don't be helpless. If on your own. I can agree with you. If we are left to our own, I can agree with
you that we're weak. We can do much

00:34:59 --> 00:34:59
			but if you

00:35:00 --> 00:35:08
			Couple striving with asking Allah and relying on him. We can say the sky is the limit by the will of
Allah azza wa jal.

00:35:09 --> 00:35:15
			You see the difference here. If Allah leaves you to your own strength, you could do very little.

00:35:17 --> 00:35:27
			And you will fail and will collapse, LLC, fine. That's it. We're human beings and we're weak. But
with Allah azza wa jal, you're not weak.

00:35:29 --> 00:35:34
			Do you believe that with Allah azza wa jal will go where till Mateen

00:35:35 --> 00:35:36
			the most strong

00:35:38 --> 00:35:41
			the one there, no one can defeat, no one can overpower.

00:35:42 --> 00:35:47
			And he is next to you, and He is supplying you with energy and power. You know,

00:35:48 --> 00:36:18
			if you believe that Allah through that gives you all the strength that you provide all this thing
that you need to trust him subhanaw taala and don't sit back helpless, saying, I cannot. With
Allah's power you can. And if there's something that you cannot, Allah will make it plain to you
that you cannot, and will direct you to another path. You can do this, but so many other things that
you can do. But with Allah's help, you can so believe, and don't sit back helpless, right.

00:36:19 --> 00:36:25
			And then he also said at a Salatu was Salam to complete that roadmap to string.

00:36:26 --> 00:36:31
			And do not say here lamenting the past saying if I had done this, and that would have been
different.

00:36:32 --> 00:36:43
			But say Allah, destined and he does whatever He wills, because if you say these things, the shaytaan
enters into your life immediately. If I had simply

00:36:45 --> 00:36:56
			not gone there on that day, did this instead of that, chosen this instead of that, listen to this
advice or did not listen to that advice, my life would have been different.

00:36:58 --> 00:37:02
			It does you no good when you think like that, because what it does, is destroys you.

00:37:05 --> 00:37:32
			You start sinking deep, deep into despair and regret. And then you revisit the past and you cannot
escape it. And you start to not only blame yourself, but then blame Allah azza wa jal for your
choices. But if you believe something as simple as you could not have done anything, to change the
past, and it must have happened the way that it's happened, no matter what you will let go of the
past.

00:37:33 --> 00:37:39
			If I failed in doing something, nothing that you could have done would have changed the outcome.

00:37:40 --> 00:37:43
			No word, no advice, no step nothing.

00:37:44 --> 00:37:52
			So that closes the door of the shaytaan and closes the door of regret, and allows you to proceed
forward.

00:37:53 --> 00:38:12
			So if you find yourself trapped, as many of us do, from time to time in the past, remember the
advice of Rasulullah sallallahu. Ala yo send them and don't invite the shaytaan into your life by
saying if we could have done something differently, Allah wanted it to happen exactly the same way
that it happened. rather learn from it.

00:38:13 --> 00:39:08
			Grow because of it. Ask Allah azza wa jal for lessons from it. But move on. And focus on the first
strive towards what benefits you because the past and drowning in the past doesn't benefit. So if
you go to the first one, it tells you that the past needs to be left alone. Focus on what benefits
you does this *, yes. Do it. You know how simple that is? But so hard? Does this help? No, don't
do it. Same as far as you know, whatever pursuits in life, whatever question even some of our
question, you could even ask yourself or somebody else why are you asking this question? Or making
this inquiry? Does it help you know, then revisit the need to ask that question. So wise

00:39:08 --> 00:39:23
			Subhanallah, so wise, but it's harder to implement because we're not used to it, but kind of
consider that as a important filter in our lives. If it's beneficial, do it if it's not stop and let
go of it.

00:39:26 --> 00:39:30
			A few final remarks in sha Allah, first of all,

00:39:32 --> 00:39:59
			Allah azza wa jal, and he deserves all of our love because of it. If Allah azza wa jal does not
teach us these things, people will not be able to if he does not save us from our own bad thoughts
and memories, from our own weaknesses, from relying on our own selves and collapsing because of it,
if he does not come to our aid will be helpless. We will be cynical we will be sad we'll be drowning
in our own sadness.

00:40:00 --> 00:40:28
			It Allah azza wa jal comes and he saves us from all of that. And the fact that he had sent all of
this in his revelation in the Quran and the Sunnah, for that he deserves all of our gratitude and he
deserves all of our love, because he could have simply kept that information but he did not. He made
it an obligation for us to seek it. And he sent them a sunnah Allah so Allah Allah you it was seldom
and he strived to deliver it, so that we could live better and be happier and be more

00:40:30 --> 00:40:31
			fruitful

00:40:32 --> 00:40:45
			and stronger. So for that Allah azza wa jal deserves praise and Allah deserves love, because he
didn't have to. But it's only for our own benefit. And when we do, what benefits us, He rewards us.

00:40:46 --> 00:41:13
			And we stay away from Harvard harms us, He rewards us. So what all is for us, not for him subhanho
wa Taala and for that you really need to love him. And then you understand that no one really loves
you like Allah azza wa jal. No one gives you everything and rewards you for it, like Allah has. No
one protects you like Allah and then rewards you for like Allah as though just for that Allah
deserves your love.

00:41:14 --> 00:41:19
			The second is, again, just to emphasize how do you become a strong believer.

00:41:20 --> 00:42:02
			So you remember the pillars that we talked about? Right? So knowledge, so learn, for Allah sake, not
to brag, learn for Allah sake to implement and to be better and to be stronger. And so that this
knowledge will bring you closer to him Subhana wa Tada so that you would love him more, and
understand him more. And if he sends you something that you don't understand, you trust him enough
to say, I trust your wisdom. And I just shrugged the direction that you are setting me on. And I
love you, with all my heart, even if you don't understand everything that is happening to me. And
whether you give me or you take away from me, I love you. But this has to be based on a devoted

00:42:02 --> 00:42:21
			relationship. And it can only happen if you know Allah, and you cannot know Allah unless you
understand Islam. So knowing Allah is a must. So you want to be a strong believer. No more. Right?
And seek it from the right sources. Commit yourself to it and to Islam.

00:42:22 --> 00:42:41
			Practice what you know meaning worship Allah azza wa jal and keep worshiping Him subhanho wa Taala
at every opportunity that you have, and also help people with the strength that you have the
strength of EMA, the physical strength, oratory skills,

00:42:42 --> 00:42:59
			whatever you have, I help people with it, and make that a life goal of yours, wherever you can help.
Help somebody Muslim or non Muslim, but help as many people as you can, because this elevates you
with him. subhanho wa taala.

00:43:00 --> 00:43:09
			Now, why is the strong believer? And that's the question, why is the strong believer more beloved to
Allah as urgent than the weak believer

00:43:10 --> 00:43:24
			to understand if you understand how he or she became strong, you understand why they are more
beloved, because they didn't just simply were given that strength of iman. They had to do what
require it.

00:43:25 --> 00:44:03
			They had to be patient every single day, and they had to be striving every single day. And they had
to sacrifice and they had to say no to the dunya and yes to Allah azza wa jal, between the Quran and
social media they had to choose the Quran every single day, because the temptation is there every
single day, between maybe going out and having fun in places that are haram and coming to the house
of Allah azza wa jal or even even staying home away from the Haram they had to make that choice
every single day. between staying up and doing things that at best are useless at worst that are
haram and sleeping early to wake up for Fudger

00:44:04 --> 00:44:14
			which no one is going to praise you for except Allah azza wa jal, right whereas your friends will be
saying, Stay up, let's have fun and let's do this and that they had to say no to this every single
day.

00:44:16 --> 00:44:21
			So they had to put Allah azza wa jal ahead. And that sacrifice is noted.

00:44:23 --> 00:44:27
			And that strength increases every day and it's noted

00:44:29 --> 00:44:31
			so Allah azza wa jal loves them because of it.

00:44:32 --> 00:44:38
			So first because they in themselves strived and they were sincere.

00:44:39 --> 00:44:48
			And they did their very best. And also because when they have that strength of Eman, they could help
everybody around.

00:44:50 --> 00:44:59
			So when so gets tempted with this and that they have an answer. They give the answer to them or the
console them or they hold their hands up

00:45:00 --> 00:45:14
			or they drive them here. Alright or they take them to someone who can give them advice, but they are
a positive influence that Allah loves. So they're most helpful because they have something to give.

00:45:15 --> 00:45:29
			So that strength of Eman makes them more beloved to Allah azza wa jal because they are more beloved
to people and more beneficial to people. They have strength against doubts, and they can answer
them.

00:45:31 --> 00:45:38
			Somebody said this in this about the Quran or the Sunnah of the Prophet Alayhi Salatu was Salam and
this and someone is confused, they have an answer.

00:45:39 --> 00:46:02
			They have strength against intuitions, this is attractive, this is attractive, how do I overcome
that addiction or that attraction? They have an answer, they have a means to do that. So they could
save people, because they are close to him. subhanho wa taala. So that is where their strength comes
from. And it ultimately comes if they do not love Allah azza wa jal, they cannot be strong.

00:46:03 --> 00:46:16
			Because that sacrifice, you're not going to sacrifice the love of the dunya for Allah as Odin unless
you love Allah. Otherwise, it's impractical impossible, I tell you give up money for the sake of
what

00:46:17 --> 00:46:22
			for the sake of something else, that I love more. And it has to be something greater than money.

00:46:23 --> 00:46:33
			So that's why we have to grow the love of Allah in our hearts to be able to give up what is not
needed from the dunya to be able to sacrifice it will does.

00:46:34 --> 00:46:37
			So we'll stop here in sha Allah will Allah mean
