For me, cure me
or alleviate the suffering or make it an expiation of my sins, increase me in patience, etc make that dua rather than be completely frustrated. And the only thing that you want to think about and wish for is death. So if there is a word Lee har,
we are not allowed to wish for death because of it.

So there are two interpretations and explanations for this. The first one is the easiest one. The second one requires a little bit of concentration, to understand it, but the easiest one is what
is that when Allah gives you the dunya, it's a test.
And when you get that dunya, it distracts you
and you worry about it, and you spend more time tending to it, and taking care of it. So the time that could have been spent for Allah would be wasted on the dunya, even though it is halal.
Right. So for instance, this is your job.
And then you get promoted. And when you get promoted, you get more responsibilities. So you need to spend more time on the dunya doing this and doing that researching this going after this project that project. So you get less time for
Allah zuji. So that term that could have been spent on the earth, Hera, elevating you in the AF era is wasted on the denier. So that means that the dunya demoted you, even though it's Hala,
even if it is Hello.

The more that you get out of this dunya the more that it brings you down

They were of that opinion.
So meaning what say there's a hadith that explains it or explains that that point of view or that interpretation? So some of the Sahaba and it's supported with some Hadith are of the opinion that the more that Allah gives you of the dunya, the less that you will have in the earth, it doesn't mean that you're completely deprived. But the less that you have.
So the richer, the more famous you are, the less that you have in the air here. So what do you get from that, and this is what a bear but the Allahu Anhu was saying is that when you get more of the Dunia, it should cause you more alarm. What is this? What is happening to me?

You don't get rewarded for it. But what does that mean? That is, if you build what is enough for you, and your family, that's sufficient, that is fine. And you will be rewarded for that. Because it is that's what and necessity and it protects you and it protects them, that's a necessity, you will get rewarded for it. When you start going extra, that's another room that's another garage, that's another level, that's another and you don't need that so you don't get rewarded for it. Because that is extra. And if you go really far with that, it could be a sin, because it's wasteful.
Because it's a sin because it's wasteful. So if you see someone, he has this big mansion, and it's way beyond the need of him and his family, and he built it like that, or he bought it like that, that extra room that he has, does that he does not get rewarded for it. And it could be Allah who Allah, what a sinful act, because beyond your need, it's beyond your need. Right? You know, there's a hadith of the prophets of Allah Azza wa sallam
where he said a bed for you have a bed for your wife. The third is for the guest. And the fourth one is for the shaytaan

The extra. So you need the first for you. Right? mattress for you. Right? You need that? You need one for your wife. Right? A third one you keeping extra for home? A guest who could could come in and they need to sleep. The fourth one is what this extra is that's where the shaytaan so it's something like that that is spent for nothing extra. Don't let it tell you lies and you believe those lies and don't believe the lies of the shaytaan. So what is the shaitaan tell you in in contrast to the Promise of Allah, He tells you that you will live forever. He tells you that it's okay enjoy this thing. There's nothing wrong with it. Allah will forgive you. He tells you delay repentance. He tells you that you're still young. It tells you that's not really haram. And why should it be haram? And it doesn't make sense that it's haram. He tells you that if you die, you will definitely go to Jenna. He makes promises.

whom you sitting when you sit, and he wants you to panic about your risk,
but not panicking. So consider for instance, if somebody comes and says,

You don't you don't want to panic is I don't want to give my money. That's my money, give sort of no my money.
But they say pay it for a new game.
He started as smooth and easy for you to pay paid for a new shoes. It's easy, paid for anything for any consumption. It's easy, but you save something that will actually benefit you, the shaytaan stops you.
So Allah is saying don't listen to the whispers of the shaitaan because you have to take him as an enemy. And he is marching with his followers all to jahannam Are you going to follow him there?
So it's interesting to know that Allah azza wa jal told us about the plots of the shaytaan and told us about his intention, yet we decided to follow Him and not follow Allah azza wa jal.
And you have to take these impulses whenever you have an impulse, or a suggestion, or an inclination, take it and see, is this from Allah? Or from the shaytaan? And it's from from Allah believe it, if it conforms to what you read in the Quran, and the Sunnah, believe it. And if you find its opposite of that, no, it's from the shaitaan. And if it's from the JSON, do the opposite,
do the opposite. Right?
As some people have said about,
and this is not like a rule of thumb, that always works all the time, but is just for illustration. They said that if there you have a choice between two things,
and you don't know which one is write, see which one you like and do the opposite.
Because typically your halwa is with what harms you, your how well your desire leans towards what harms you, as again as again, not a rule of thumb that works all the time. So the prophets Alehissalaam said Do not be deluded? How do you know that that Salah was accepted? That that will do was a will though that Allah was pleased with? Do you have access to the unseen? He says no.
So a person a Muslim? Does What does his actions hopeful that they will be accepted but not certain? You don't know hopeful all the time, but not certain that they will be accepted, and also fearful that they could be rejected? Maybe they were missing something substantial? So that's why when we finish our salah, what do we say, a stuffer Allah as the hero Allah as Dr. Allah, because we anticipate and we know for sure that there were things that are missing in it. So how could you be 100% sure that my sins were forgiven, but then we keep praying because that's what I hope will happen. So when he said sallallahu alayhi wa sallam law, the third row

If you hear anything hopeful in the Quran and the Sunnah, take it and be happy that it's there that Allah will forgive sins and will send you to gender even Allah azza wa jal, but don't think that you've just booked your ticket already. And also by practice, they tell you how you're supposed to live. So how the one of the ways that you remain steadfast and strong is when there are strong people around you. Right.

how we support each other. If you're strong and I'm stronger than the rest will be strong by the will of Allah azza wa jal because they look and they say, yes, they are there. That's an example. That's how I'm supposed to be. So that becomes a model. But if everyone is corrupt, or my any of some of us are corrupt, that encourages corruption. That's also one of the reasons why if a person commits a sin, you keep it what? Hidden.
Because the mere fact that you made it public is an invitation for others to repeat that sin. It becomes smaller when it goes public. Oh, he did it. So it's okay for other people to do it. It diminishes in severity when it becomes public. The baraka of them seeing something wrong and saying this is wrong and stopping it. It dies Subhan Allah, there were people that Allah has that it had blessed, as long as they were alive, the fitna was dead. And they will be rulers and people of power,
or people of corruption sitting in waiting. So as long as he's alive, I can't say anything.
When he dies, then they have the audacity and the power to speak up and say whatever they want, but not as long as that person is alive. So there are some people who are as long as they were alive. They block the fitna, when they die, the fitna precedes,
so they are a Baraka, and they teach and all of that. So he says, a solid bone and over and over. And as they leave, they don't get replaced.
That's the problem. They don't get replaced. And so when you hear about scholars dying, one after the other, what is the calamity here? The calamity is will and can they be replaced?
And will the second generation have enough to replace them?
And the death of someone of knowledge is a disaster because their knowledge has gone with him. You know how
some when some people die celebrities and what have you die and you know, the media starts celebrating or mourning them or paying tribute to them and broadcasting snippets about their life and what they said and this and that. And you start even even you I mean if you follow it even you don't know the person, you start feeling sorry for them because of the way that they glaramara glamorize it. So think about that. And think about their real contribution. What was really their actual contribution
to mourn them like that. Whereas in comparison, when a scholar dies, you don't hear any of these things.
They just disappear. Somebody that no one reports it they just die.
But Allah azza wa jal knows, even if the media or we don't care Allah azza wa jal cares about them. So it says the righteous they've die and the next one dies and the next one dies and they don't get replaced. Until eventually Yep, haha fella.
That's what remains scum.

And then everybody who saw the Prophet died, that generation just vanished. And just imagine the baraka that this earth had lost by their departure. No one on this earth now had seen Muhammad Sallallahu wasallam, all of them have died. But at least there's a tablet and we saw the companions. And then that generation passed away, and no one who had seen a companion was alive. And then the one who have seen the companions
of the companions passed away, and none of them was alive. And slowly we are losing that Baraka. So, when you are approaching the Day of Judgment, and you look at the world today, and how the world is corrupt today, you see if this is true, most of the righteous have departed and most of what the people that we have today, I'm not saying all, absolutely not, but I say many of the people that we have today are like this, he'll Falah Hosanna nothing. Now you will see him, Willa, you barely human Lahu Allahu Allah, Allah does not give any weight to them. And why is that is because we did not give ourself any weight, not because Allah azza wa jal hates, so and so or made them like that is
you do not give yourself any weight. So Allah azza wa jal does not give any weight to you. What weight have you given to yourself if the only thing you worry about is money.
And we are telling you that this is not how Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wasallam lived. And this is not how the Sahaba have lived. The only thing that they care about is soccer day and night. That's it, or eating day and night, or entertainment day and night. And this is the level that you're at. And you say I am worth something.
What are you worth?
If you are a container, and we were to empty that container out, and we were to separate what's in it? What would we find in it that is worth anything?
If all of it is nonsense, then you have to be saying to yourself, well, maybe I am nonsense, as long as I'm filled with nonsense.
But you want to be among the righteous what righteousness do you have in you?
So Phil, you're this is not a condemnation. This is in fact, any directed at you and myself as well. Fill your insight with things that Allah azza wa jal considers to be a value. Do you have oran on the inside? Do you have Hadith? Do you have vicar? Do you have the love of Allah? Do you have the desire to do something good and meaningful with your life to help
the creation of Allah? So just for the sake of Allah, do you have something? Do you have a good intention? And you're working on it or not?
So it's a sign of this Deb the Day of Judgment. And of course, the more that you move closer to the day of judgment and have fewer righteous people around you, the fewer reminders and the fewer motivators to obey Allah azza wa jal and more distractions you and I will have. So know that you are marching towards what by each decade, you're moving closer to the day of judgment. So each decade theoretically, on average,
is going to be worse than the one before it.
So hey, right. And if you have children, get them ready for the fact that their life on average is going to be worse than yours.
And has more fitness than us. So get them ready for that and then great grandparent and then then grandchildren, your grandchildren will have even worse.
