The Messenger salla Allahi alayhi wa sallam said: (There is no heart except that it has a cloud like the clouds of the moon: while the moon is shining, it gets covered with a cloud and it gets dark; but when the cloud leaves it, the moon goes back to its shine)
Reported by al-Tabarani in al-Awsat and Abu Naim in al-Hulya. It is declared to be hasan by al-Albani in al-Silsilah al-Sahihah (2268)

00:00:02 --> 00:00:27
			In 100, Lila hinomoto who want to stay in who want to start 01 How do we let him in surely
unforeseen. Our see RTR Marina, Mayor De La Villa De La Hoya you'd live for her the era when I
showed you a la ilaha illallah wa de la sharika Mohammed Abu Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa ala
alihi wa sahbihi wa sallam I'm about

00:00:29 --> 00:00:35
			tonight in sha Allah by the grace of Allah subhana wa tada we'll be explaining Hadith number five.

00:00:37 --> 00:00:39
			And so far we have seen

00:00:40 --> 00:00:44
			with some detail the weakness and vulnerability of the heart,

00:00:45 --> 00:01:01
			and also how the heart changes and keeps shifting based on the choices that we make, whether we
choose good or bad halal, or the heart reacts to it, and then has the ability or loses the ability
to tell us right from wrong.

00:01:02 --> 00:01:22
			And then the last Hadeeth, we've also explored and discussed how Hillel is harmonious, how
righteousness is harmonious with our hearts and unrighteousness by the wickedness lacks that harmony
and what happens to the heart as a result.

00:01:23 --> 00:01:27
			So inshallah In today's video, we will continue

00:01:28 --> 00:01:31
			understanding our hearts better.

00:01:32 --> 00:01:51
			And what happens to the heart Even if you are or if you have the best of hearts, something happens
to it. We need to understand what that is and inshallah how to deal with it. So I'll get right to
the Hadith in sha Allah. And in this Hadith, Colonel Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.

00:01:53 --> 00:01:58
			mominul kuruva kelburn illa Allah who saboten Casa habited cannot

00:01:59 --> 00:02:06
			binal como de on it Allah tala he saboten. Father NEMA is the gelatin who.

00:02:09 --> 00:02:18
			So you're the messenger sallallahu alayhi wa sallam says there is no heart except that it has a
cloud, like the clouds of the moon.

00:02:19 --> 00:02:24
			While the moon is shining, it gets covered with a cloud and it gets dark.

00:02:25 --> 00:02:29
			But when the cloud leaves, the moon goes back to its shine.

00:02:31 --> 00:02:56
			So the Heidi is describing here a physical phenomenon that all of us can observe. And if we cannot
observe, you can go to Google and type in like what I did, Moon plus clouds, and you will see how
the moon gets covered with a cloud. So the Prophet sallallahu wasallam, he says that every heart has
such a cloud. So like when you will be looking at the full bright moon.

00:02:58 --> 00:03:02
			And it's really eating and it's filling our lives and our nights would like

00:03:04 --> 00:03:19
			he says, there will be times when this moon will be covered with clouds and the clouds will take
away that light will cover it and will conceal it either in part or maybe completely there are other
phenomenon where the light of the moon departs completely.

00:03:21 --> 00:03:30
			He says but when this leaves when these clouds leave the moon and depart, the moon goes back to his
shine, he says so every heart has this type of cloud in it.

00:03:31 --> 00:03:32
			Right?

00:03:34 --> 00:03:37
			So the first thing that we need to understand is that light

00:03:39 --> 00:03:40
			What is this light?

00:03:43 --> 00:03:47
			That light like light is the light of Islam is the light of a man

00:03:48 --> 00:03:49
			that is in the heart.

00:03:51 --> 00:04:17
			And we can even say perhaps it also could be the light of FIFA if we take the Hadith domain, every
heart not only Muslim heart because he says mominul pulumi. So either will refer to only Muslim
hearts who have Eman or also to every type of heart Muslim or non Muslim. So it refers to non
Muslims as well. It means this is the light of their fifth law or what has remained of the right of
the light of the Fatah inside. You follow.

00:04:18 --> 00:04:24
			But if not if it's just about Muslims, then it's the light of EMA.

00:04:27 --> 00:04:32
			And here there are two things we want to focus on first, the beauty of the moon and then the effect
of that light.

00:04:33 --> 00:04:39
			The moon when it's full, and it's right, it's beautiful. Right? Right there in the sky.

00:04:40 --> 00:04:48
			It's the center and it's very beautiful by people have written poetry about them.

00:04:49 --> 00:04:51
			The beloved looks like the moon.

00:04:53 --> 00:04:59
			So there is beauty there. And so is the believer the moment there is

00:05:00 --> 00:05:01
			beauty in the believer.

00:05:03 --> 00:05:06
			And it is a beauty that he or she feels,

00:05:07 --> 00:05:10
			is also beauty that is noticed.

00:05:11 --> 00:05:31
			We're not asking, and I'm not telling you that everybody around you have to notice it. In fact,
sometimes some people are not going to notice it. But that's not the issue. I'm saying that the
beauty is there, whether the people notice it or not, sometimes you're the one who will feel it. And
it's that beauty of a man that you sense that you feel that motivates you.

00:05:33 --> 00:05:36
			But the sun is not only beautiful, but the moon is not only beautiful,

00:05:37 --> 00:05:46
			it spreads that light, naturally, as a consequence of having that light, it spreads it to everything
around it.

00:05:47 --> 00:06:09
			And the light of a man is exactly the same. It's the own not only a light of a man that that
beautifies that makes you beautiful in the sight of Allah subhanho wa Taala and also in the sight of
his creation. But naturally as a consequence of having it you can't help it as a consequence of
having it, you're going to spread that light all around you.

00:06:10 --> 00:06:12
			spies, the simple fact that you have that email

00:06:15 --> 00:06:19
			like the moon Does, does the moon have a choice whether it spreads the light or not?

00:06:21 --> 00:06:47
			It just spreads it that's natural. Same thing with a light email, it cannot be contained in the way
that you speak in the way that you act and the way that you are with other people no matter where
you are at school, university, work around family people that you know people that you don't know,
wherever you might be. And if that email is allowed to shine, and it's full inside.

00:06:48 --> 00:06:51
			It will be like the moon entering that place.

00:06:53 --> 00:07:19
			And people will notice it notice that through your generosity through your reaction through your
help. So your tohei that comes from your mouth through the remembrance of Allah subhana wa tada
everything that you do just depends on your email, everything that you do everything that your body
does your eyes, your Asian everything. All that will be beautiful and people will notice it. The
moon has come to school the moon has left school the moon, people will notice its arrival and its
departure.

00:07:21 --> 00:07:25
			That's the beauty of EMA. So it's really a good sign to keep in mind.

00:07:27 --> 00:07:44
			And Allah subhanho wa Taala gives us in the Quran in the famous ion sort of denote Allah notice
similar to a lot the example of the light of Eman in our hearts and it's good that we understand
this ayah very briefly, what Allah is alone or semi what the will of Allah is the light of the
heavens and the earth.

00:07:46 --> 00:07:52
			Metal UI chemists Kathy Hermes Ba, and Misaki Sujata as deja

00:07:54 --> 00:08:04
			vu New Caledonia, Dorothy mubaraka, the Trinity lecture theatre, or the Yakuza to all of the lancom
Setsuna. neurone Allah.

00:08:05 --> 00:08:11
			So Allah is saying that the example of Allah is light in the heart of the believer,

00:08:12 --> 00:08:30
			is like a wick that is inside a glass. And both of these things are in a niche. A niche is a recess
in the wall, like a hole in the wall that people used to have before you could put a decorative item
in it. But we don't have that today. All tones may have said that lamp

00:08:31 --> 00:08:33
			is made of brilliant glass.

00:08:34 --> 00:08:38
			And oil, which is olive oil is also brilliant and radiant.

00:08:39 --> 00:09:01
			And that lamp is in is in that niche. And then you light it. It says that's the example of the light
of a man in the heart of the believer. Why location concentrates the light, the niche concentrates
the light, so it's a concentrated light. It's not scattered, but concentrated. The material itself

00:09:02 --> 00:09:03
			is radiant.

00:09:05 --> 00:09:07
			It's as if it's a splendid

00:09:08 --> 00:09:12
			star, Allah subhanaw taala saying so the glass is brilliant.

00:09:13 --> 00:09:15
			The oil itself is radiant.

00:09:17 --> 00:09:20
			And what is the glass and what is the oil and the DFC. They tell you, that's the fitrah

00:09:22 --> 00:09:55
			it's the pure fitrah less, that's the heart of the believer. It's the pure fitrah. It's just ready,
ready to light ready to explode. And you add the light on top of that. And it gives you this
splendid light. That's the light of the believer, or the light of the amount of a loss of data in
the heart of the believer. That's why Allah says you have to say to God, the light, the oil, by
itself is about to give you light. So that believer is ready to just add the light of revelation to
it. And the potential of the believer is unleashed.

00:09:56 --> 00:09:59
			By its fitrah and a man go hand in hand

00:10:02 --> 00:10:17
			So this is the light that we have. But no matter how brilliant you may be, how much light you have
in your heart, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam saying what? There will come a time when
these clouds will come, you can't escape

00:10:18 --> 00:10:18
			period.

00:10:20 --> 00:10:22
			Every single person will have that.

00:10:23 --> 00:10:24
			You can't escape it.

00:10:25 --> 00:10:26
			Now,

00:10:27 --> 00:10:31
			where does this cloud come from, or these clouds come from?

00:10:32 --> 00:10:36
			They come from forgetfulness.

00:10:38 --> 00:10:40
			They come from sin.

00:10:41 --> 00:11:00
			They come from diseases and illnesses that we have in our hearts that we have not treated. And they
keep resurfacing and revisiting our hearts. So sometimes we are good. You know, just like
physically, some, you're healthy, but you only seem healthy, but the illness is still inside.

00:11:01 --> 00:11:20
			Right? It's dormant, then there will come a time when it will resurface again, so you become sick,
then healthy again, and sick and healthy again, we have not gotten rid of that illness so still
inside. So that's the reason why, whether it's this shower or that tube.

00:11:23 --> 00:11:36
			And by the way, and this may be in Charlotte, something we'll talk about later. Leffler is something
that is very difficult, I will say almost impossible to overcome. Lovelace forgetfulness because as
a human being,

00:11:37 --> 00:12:05
			you don't have the capacity, you don't even have the time to be constant in your worship of Allah
subhana wa tada all hours of the day, you have other things to do, are there things to pay attention
to, to concentrate on. So when you do that, you pay attention to something else ruffler
forgetfulness sets in and the busier you are the more of that roughly. So that is like a sort of a
small cloud that goes into cover the heart.

00:12:09 --> 00:12:12
			And the good news in the Hadees

00:12:13 --> 00:12:16
			though it is saying that every huddle have that part, what is the good news and

00:12:17 --> 00:12:33
			the good news in the hurry is that this is a temporary state. Right? That's what the prophets have
allowed us to send them a saying about these clouds, a temporary condition, not permanent. What is
permanent, with a heart of the believer is the light.

00:12:35 --> 00:12:37
			The light of the moon is the one that is permanent.

00:12:38 --> 00:12:49
			Now the cloud, the cloud comes, and the cloud goes, the cloud comes again. But the cloud must leave,
it never stays all the time. So the light is what is permanent.

00:12:52 --> 00:12:59
			So this brings us on to the rise and the fall or the fall Rise and Fall of our email.

00:13:05 --> 00:13:07
			All of us naturally have felt

00:13:09 --> 00:13:09
			that

00:13:10 --> 00:13:12
			our emotions sometimes rises

00:13:14 --> 00:13:16
			and our emotions sometimes false.

00:13:18 --> 00:13:18
			Why

00:13:21 --> 00:13:30
			a man rises a man false, even if you don't find that in the Quran and the Sunnah of the Prophet
sallallahu it was

00:13:32 --> 00:13:39
			even your own self will testify to it. Yes, sometimes my Eman is high.

00:13:40 --> 00:13:42
			Sometimes my Eman is low.

00:13:44 --> 00:13:52
			But also the Quran talks about it that the man increases the sermon also talks about it that even
increases and decreases. So it's evident there.

00:13:58 --> 00:14:00
			If our destination

00:14:02 --> 00:14:14
			our final destination is the pleasure of Allah subhanho wa Taala then we need to keep our aim and as
strong as possible even when it goes weak. We need to take care of it

00:14:16 --> 00:14:25
			because neglecting our condition neglecting our hearts neglecting our souls like that our a man
might wither and might not come back.

00:14:27 --> 00:14:30
			So, you drive all the time right?

00:14:31 --> 00:14:32
			You had gas

00:14:33 --> 00:14:41
			right you use it? Is that the end of the story? Yeah more to keep driving. You have to keep adding
fuel.

00:14:42 --> 00:14:54
			And you have to keep maintaining your vehicle so that you can reach your destination. So yes, Eman
decreases are the fuel decreases, but then you have to refuel.

00:14:56 --> 00:14:59
			So email decreases and a man decreases up down

00:15:00 --> 00:15:03
			Up, down, up, down. That's the nature of our life.

00:15:04 --> 00:15:12
			And the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam also says that this is inevitable, it has to happen. He
says in the Hadith

00:15:14 --> 00:15:16
			liquidly amarin Shira,

00:15:18 --> 00:15:24
			every type of action that you do will have a period where you are enthusiastic about it and
interested in it.

00:15:26 --> 00:15:26
			Everything

00:15:28 --> 00:15:31
			I will say religious or even non religious,

00:15:32 --> 00:15:34
			you start you know, a new job,

00:15:35 --> 00:15:39
			or a new phase in your job, and you're excited.

00:15:40 --> 00:15:50
			And you're all there and you want to do great things. You start a new thing in your worship of Allah
subhanho wa Taala, your Salah, fasting reading the Quran

00:15:52 --> 00:16:00
			or you restarting it. And you have all these plans and all these ambitions, right? So this is Shira
your straw.

00:16:01 --> 00:16:02
			does it last?

00:16:06 --> 00:16:09
			Last sometimes the last?

00:16:10 --> 00:16:15
			No. He says a lot. He was seldom when he quit Leisha Ratan sutra.

00:16:16 --> 00:16:23
			And every such period of intensity and strength will have a period of this interest and weakness.

00:16:26 --> 00:17:00
			Sometimes you're very strong, dedicated, I want to pray and you do it and you pray and you do it.
And then your interest starts declining a little bit by a little bit a little bit. But I want to
fast in order every Monday and Thursday, every three months, you want to do it and then interest
declines a little bit. I want to read the Koran I want to do this. And I want to do that and our and
this and that. That's the first week, the second week, just went a little bit thinner down a little
bit than done a little bit. So every show will have a photo. And this is you really have to
appreciate the wisdom of the prophets of Allah, Allah, it was similar, but it's not just leading you

00:17:00 --> 00:17:08
			to yourself, go learn this on your own. But Learn from your mistakes. He's telling you freehand.
This is what is happening. Right?

00:17:10 --> 00:17:14
			So he says women cannot afford to eat as soon as difficult on Kennedy law.

00:17:16 --> 00:17:26
			So the one who spent throughout that period of weakness is on my sooner on my path and on my way
he'll be successful. And if it is otherwise, he perishes.

00:17:28 --> 00:17:43
			So what is he saying solo? And he is saying that you have to pay attention and take care of that
period when you are weak. When you are strong, you're fine. You're good. You're doing all the things
you're supposed to do. But now what are your interest declines.

00:17:45 --> 00:18:08
			And you feel you don't want to do this, and you don't want to do that. And your defenses right have
collapsed, and the heart is weak. And there is no resolve and no intent anymore. That's when the
shaitaan attacks you. That's when the shaytan can get what he wants from you. Now when you are
strong when you are strong, and some of us will be so strong that she will run away sometimes from
you.

00:18:09 --> 00:18:18
			Right, like the he did with our model the law and right. Maybe sometimes the shaytan just will give
up on you is too strong at this time.

00:18:19 --> 00:18:31
			What are you wait till the time when you're weak and then when you're weak? He says this is the time
I can take him. There isn't the time that I can overtake his heart. So the Prophet sallallahu Sallam
he says this is it you have to pay attention to this sign.

00:18:33 --> 00:18:47
			Now how do you pay attention to this time that you stay upon the sin of the prophets of the law, he
was still among us on and on his path. You may not be doing all the good that you've done before,
but there's a minimum that you never leave.

00:18:49 --> 00:18:51
			And you're staying away from the *.

00:18:52 --> 00:18:59
			So maybe you're not doing the suddenness, maybe. But the obligations, you're doing them. You don't
compromise that.

00:19:01 --> 00:19:08
			You may be or you're not. Every time in the masjid, you're not every time going there doing that,
but you're staying away from

00:19:10 --> 00:19:24
			there's a distance between you and that. And you pay attention to yourself and you work on yourself
and you refuel, so that this period of weakness will be brief. And you can move now from there to
another shift

00:19:25 --> 00:19:27
			from a weakness into an intensity of worship.

00:19:29 --> 00:19:50
			So there is this sickness or let's say illness or period of weakness that needs to be nursed. And
when the Prophet sallallahu wasallam tells us that you know that it happens, so that pay attention
to it. So if you're still on the sooner when you are weak, you'll find a lot of enemies If not, then
you have to worry about it.

00:19:51 --> 00:19:52
			And

00:19:55 --> 00:19:59
			Allah subhanho wa Taala says, what are the Kudo can Latina wrestler have

00:20:00 --> 00:20:07
			I'm in bad you're 14 and katha Do not be like the one or she who unraveled the yarn, she spun into
threads.

00:20:10 --> 00:20:10
			That is,

00:20:12 --> 00:20:14
			in your period of weakness,

00:20:15 --> 00:20:18
			don't undo all the good things that you've done before.

00:20:20 --> 00:20:53
			There is, we have taken so much trouble, right? To add good things into our life to do these good
deeds. It's like someone building a home brick by brick. So it's for the first and the second and
the third and he finished this corner of the land and he goes on. So so much effort had been put why
said we can do good things. My floss, my sincerity is there, I'm following what I'm supposed to
follow, I'm staying away from harm. So it's an effort. So you don't want in those moments when we
are weak to undo all of that

00:20:54 --> 00:21:01
			by someone like for instance, continue with that example, someone goes to what he had built to the
wall, and he takes these bricks down.

00:21:03 --> 00:21:15
			Right, that's a wasted effort. You've wasted your effort before, and you're wasting your time right
now. Because everything that we earn as good deeds, that plus one plus two plus three plus four,
right?

00:21:17 --> 00:21:23
			If you earn something bad, it's minus one minus two minus three. So the minus and the plus are
cancelling each other.

00:21:25 --> 00:21:33
			Right. That's why Allah subhanho wa Taala is saying here in this piece of wisdom, do not like be or
be like her who and did what she was doing.

00:21:35 --> 00:21:42
			So if you've done something, you want to preserve it, and you want to protect it. So that's why you
have to watch for those periods when we are weak.

00:21:46 --> 00:21:54
			Now going back to the clouds only say that not everyone will experience these clouds in the same
way.

00:21:57 --> 00:21:58
			Clouds vary,

00:21:59 --> 00:22:06
			and will vary in their number and their size, and how dense they are. And then how long these days,

00:22:07 --> 00:22:15
			you can have a small plot that stays there for five minutes and leaves. And you can have a big cloud
that covers the moon for the whole night.

00:22:17 --> 00:22:18
			It could be this or it could be that.

00:22:19 --> 00:22:27
			So the size, and the number and the density of the clouds in our life depends on what's on our
email.

00:22:28 --> 00:22:36
			So the person who will be least affected, no one is exempt, everybody will have that. But the person
who will be least affected by the clouds is who

00:22:38 --> 00:22:39
			the person with what

00:22:43 --> 00:22:52
			strong email, the stronger your email is the least affected by the clouds you are. Why because the
heart is already clear.

00:22:54 --> 00:22:58
			If we've imagined a clean heart, a white heart, the heart is already clean.

00:23:00 --> 00:23:21
			And the person is sensitive to what is happening to his inner heart. So as something as small like
that happens, they will rush to do what they will rush to cleanse their heart and remember Allah
subhanaw taala they'll go back to the Quran, they'll go back to the account of Allah subhana wa tada
and enliven their heart again. So that period will be small.

00:23:23 --> 00:23:35
			And later in Sharla in the ahaadeeth, we'll see how that happens. But that period will be small and
you can take care of the example of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam, that period where the
clouds will pass will be very brief.

00:23:36 --> 00:23:45
			And then it will go away. Again, if you want a physical example, if you are someone who really takes
care of the cleanliness of his vehicle of his car or clothes,

00:23:46 --> 00:24:04
			and they really white, you'll notice the smallest spot and you're always watching for spots right?
There is a tiny spot on the cursor. Okay, I need to clean it. Scrub, scrub, scrub clean again. Why
is it easy to clean? Because it's already clean and you're paying attention.

00:24:07 --> 00:24:11
			If you're not paying attention on the door, the car is dirty.

00:24:12 --> 00:24:16
			You won't even notice these spots on it. We will notice them

00:24:17 --> 00:24:42
			unless you start cleaning and paying attention. So the cloud there will stay for a long time and
then you will know why am I feeling this way you just don't why am I feeling this way? You don't
know? Where's my email gone? You don't you just don't know. I'm feeling sad. I'm feeling depressed
and feeling just not right. Why is this you just don't know. Where as a person another person was
really in tuned with his heart and understanding what's happening.

00:24:44 --> 00:24:45
			Immediately knows

00:24:46 --> 00:24:50
			immediately knows why this is happening and he treats it very quickly.

00:24:51 --> 00:24:59
			So moving our hearts closer to Allah subhana wa tada and navigating all of these clouds requires
what care and wisdom

00:25:00 --> 00:25:15
			Right, requires Karen wisdom. And I want to talk here briefly or not maybe not so briefly about
siesta to nurse seasickness. Now when we hear the word hear the word CS, especially in modern
Arabic, what do you think?

00:25:17 --> 00:25:27
			politics right, everybody thinks that politics, right? But CSA is not just politics. So today we're
talking about siesta. But it's not the politics guy is something else. So you know, we'll be in
trouble.

00:25:29 --> 00:25:34
			siesta here is to manage the affairs of someone or something,

00:25:35 --> 00:25:41
			to manage their affairs. So you can use it with people. And you can use it also with animals, such
as

00:25:42 --> 00:26:09
			grooming the horse. What does it mean, when you have CSR of an animal, meaning knowing how to treat
that animal to get what you want from them, you have to use wisdom, I have to know. Like, when it
comes to a horse, you want to tame a wild horse in ECS management cannot just throw a saddle on the
back of that horse never gonna work, you need to understand what you need to understand horses.

00:26:10 --> 00:26:34
			And you need to understand that particular horse, you know, animals have personalities, right?
different personalities. So you need to understand this particular horse. And then you need to
understand what he likes and what he doesn't like. So you can slowly gradually patiently bring him
to do what you want, then finally, you could put that saddle on theirs back and ride the horse, or
you want that horse to be a champion racer.

00:26:35 --> 00:26:58
			You need to see us how to train him, how to feed him, how to reward him. All that takes wisdom by so
again, you need to have vast understanding of what you're doing. This is CSR. So when we're saying
see us enough, what is the asset enough? It is knowing what path you should put it on. So it can
take you to a loss.

00:26:59 --> 00:27:03
			What do you need to give it and also not give it

00:27:04 --> 00:27:11
			so that it can take you to Allah Subhana Allah, this is C assertiveness, managing yourself well
taking care of it.

00:27:12 --> 00:27:17
			And I want to mention in Sharla some principles in CSR to nurse

00:27:19 --> 00:27:21
			so the first thing that we need to keep in mind

00:27:23 --> 00:27:46
			as we are dealing with our hearts as we're dealing with our souls, and we're saying Okay, my final
destination over there is Janata nine, I want to reach heaven. And I want to escape from hellfire.
What do I do from this point? till I reach that point? This is what do I do? How do I treat myself?
So the first thing that I want to emphasize is gradualism to be gradual.

00:27:48 --> 00:27:48
			patient.

00:27:50 --> 00:27:59
			So whether it is something bad that I want to get rid of, or something good that I want to bring on
into my life, I need to be patient and gradual.

00:28:01 --> 00:28:10
			Why is that the case? Because the bad thing is that we have have been with us for a long time,
depending on your age, if you're young, then

00:28:11 --> 00:28:31
			fine. But for a lot of us, this had been with us for an extended time and it is part of us and part
of our personality. The think that we can just cure our illness cure ourselves of that thing. In a
day or two, or maybe a month or two would be an exaggeration and impatience.

00:28:33 --> 00:28:40
			And taking on something, taking on a practice to make it part of your life to make it a permanent
part of your life also takes time.

00:28:42 --> 00:29:09
			Change takes time, any type of change takes time. So we have if we keep that in mind, we will not be
frustrated by setbacks and failures and trying to protect myself from this thing. I'm successful the
first day the second day, the first seek the second week, after a month I go back, don't be
frustrating. You have made progress. You have gained something, just go back because setbacks are
natural. I'm trying to do this good thing.

00:29:10 --> 00:29:28
			But I try and I try and I try but sometimes they fail. That's fine, that is natural. Never give up.
Never give up and be moderate. take small steps towards your ultimate goal rather than take huge
leaps and stop afterwards.

00:29:30 --> 00:29:33
			The profits are the law you sallallahu alayhi wa sallam says in the Hadith

00:29:35 --> 00:29:36
			said they do have

00:29:37 --> 00:29:40
			work to do or oh whoa, wait a minute do what

00:29:43 --> 00:29:45
			he says said they do.

00:29:46 --> 00:29:48
			said they do means do the right thing.

00:29:51 --> 00:29:59
			To do is like you write having a target and hitting that target with your arrow set to hit the
target Exactly.

00:30:00 --> 00:30:03
			So set the domains, do what you're asked to do.

00:30:05 --> 00:30:09
			But cardio means what if you cannot come as close as you can do it?

00:30:11 --> 00:30:25
			And this is the profits of the law. Do you understand them is telling you that sometimes you can hit
the target and hit the mark. Exactly. That's it. You prayed right? You fasted, right? You did
everything right. Sometimes you fail,

00:30:27 --> 00:30:32
			to fail to be 100%. When you fail to be 100%, what give up?

00:30:34 --> 00:30:36
			Cory was come as close to it as you can.

00:30:37 --> 00:30:45
			You couldn't get 100% 90% done a 9080, not 8070, not a 7050 not a 50 a 10% as long as what you're
trying,

00:30:46 --> 00:30:49
			as long as you try and call him. So

00:30:51 --> 00:30:55
			then he says, what do you what are you gonna do? And he says, when you travel.

00:30:58 --> 00:31:07
			This is giving you a physical example, for the non physical travel that we are taking to Allah, when
you travel, travel in the morning, travel in the afternoon, and part of the night.

00:31:09 --> 00:31:13
			That is take advantage of the best time of travel, these are the best times to travel.

00:31:14 --> 00:31:15
			That is be smart.

00:31:16 --> 00:31:30
			Don't burn yourself out and say I'm gonna travel throughout the whole day and whole night. That's
it, I want to reach out and know why my destination is there. I'll take me for days, I will travel
day and night, day and night without rest what happens?

00:31:31 --> 00:31:46
			claps class claps, no energy. If you're writing an animal, or if you are writing a vehicle, the
vehicle will start the animal will die, or the animal will just sit and refuse to move. That's
exactly what happens with ourselves

00:31:47 --> 00:32:13
			when you put too much on it. And sometimes that's the wisdom. That's the CSR. And by the way, this
applies to me as I'm also having sort of the CSR for myself, and applies also to the people who are
around me that I am taking care of my spouse, my children, my neighbors, are the people I'm giving
data to that applies to all of them. You put too much.

00:32:15 --> 00:32:19
			They will run out. They'll just collapse. They can't take it anymore.

00:32:21 --> 00:32:26
			So it needs to be gradual, and it needs to be smart. And it needs to be also what consistent.

00:32:27 --> 00:32:36
			Not travel the first date of the second day and then fall ill for the next three days. No, everyday
you travel a little bit by little bit by little bit. And he says well

00:32:37 --> 00:32:43
			and seek moderation, seek moderation, who you will reach. That's how you reach.

00:32:44 --> 00:32:58
			So the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam is giving me giving you the formula of reaching your
destination. Know when to travel. Don't overdo it. Don't overburden yourself, don't over exhaust
yourself, or the people who are around you. They'll rebel.

00:32:59 --> 00:33:05
			Your animal will rebel yourself, your heart will rebel and be tired with you.

00:33:07 --> 00:33:18
			Your family will rebel and be tired with you enough. We can't just take it. He says you take it in
increments you take it in steps and your power your jected is to be consistent every day.

00:33:19 --> 00:33:28
			And then you will reach because when you're doing it every day you're building your email and you're
making that practice part of your life

00:33:30 --> 00:33:31
			part of your life

00:33:33 --> 00:33:34
			so

00:33:36 --> 00:33:38
			the message is so loud you it was Sallam says

00:33:40 --> 00:33:40
			about

00:33:43 --> 00:33:46
			those who don't follow that advice. He says

00:33:47 --> 00:33:48
			in Edina use

00:33:49 --> 00:33:51
			what a new shirt that had only Dena 11.

00:33:55 --> 00:33:57
			He says religion is easy.

00:33:59 --> 00:34:04
			You know the word user, right? Religion is easy. It's easy in it.

00:34:05 --> 00:34:07
			But it does not ask

00:34:09 --> 00:34:36
			something that is a burden of you. Doesn't religion is easy. And he says when you shed the head on
Idina Illa Allah, you're not gonna overburden yourself as if you're fighting with the religion
you're pulling. Okay? It's like a rope contest, right? And you're pulling one end of the rope. And
the religion I suppose is pulling the other end. And he says if you're fighting like that with
religion, meaning you're overburdening yourself. He says religion will win.

00:34:38 --> 00:34:41
			Meaning you won't be able to continue the way life the way that you will have planned.

00:34:42 --> 00:34:52
			you planning on to take on too much that you're not ready for. And religion is vast, right? It's a
lot.

00:34:53 --> 00:34:59
			The Koran, and then all the Hadees and then the all the rules and all that righteousness and virtue
that you can do.

00:35:00 --> 00:35:02
			There is a lot of if you want to take all of that on

00:35:04 --> 00:35:14
			your collapse so he's saying what? Yes, there is ease in it. Another Hadith he says in the Drina
Mateen fell little fee that if

00:35:16 --> 00:35:24
			he says this religion is strong so I just like it this religion strong, so you go through it gently

00:35:25 --> 00:35:27
			go through it gently

00:35:31 --> 00:35:47
			take for instance let's let's take here as an example so that it's not all theoretical inshallah,
take your reading the prompt, let's suppose that you want to establish a daily habit of reading the
Quran and I want to say that all of us should have a daily habit of reading the Quran. How do you
start?

00:35:49 --> 00:35:51
			Now if you say to yourself, especially in a moment of zeal

00:35:53 --> 00:35:57
			I will read Do you listen, you know, to a beautiful,

00:35:58 --> 00:36:04
			beautiful recitation, your Eman is high that time. And you say to yourself, I want to read the Koran
every day.

00:36:07 --> 00:36:09
			10 Jesus every day, that's what

00:36:11 --> 00:36:12
			changes every day.

00:36:13 --> 00:36:15
			So the first day you do 10

00:36:16 --> 00:36:18
			and this is you're just starting right the first day you do 10.

00:36:19 --> 00:36:23
			The second day you do 10. The third day saying

00:36:24 --> 00:36:34
			10 is heavy, okay, but it's still doing 10. The fourth day you say 10 is really heavy duty, then
comes the fifth day, nothing

00:36:36 --> 00:36:47
			to tire. Ready have done, what? Five days, four days, again, tenten tenten pambula, finish the
Quran. You know, many others haven't even touched the Quran, this is good.

00:36:48 --> 00:36:53
			And then you'll spend the next week to month two without touching the plant again.

00:36:55 --> 00:37:19
			Because this is the nature of the self, too much of a good thing at one time, and you'll quit. You
can't take it anymore. And the experience will be negative, the some experience will be negative I
tried to the record on it just was too much. And I didn't feel it doesn't exist. It's just a burden.
I don't want to go back to it. Because the sentiments that you are on negative sentiments, because
he didn't take care of yourself.

00:37:21 --> 00:37:55
			You should have paid attention to your own ability, and potential and readiness. Just like going to
the gym. I don't know how much people can lift go into the gym, you see people with a lot of muscle.
Say I'm not just like this person, you go and you lift. I don't know what 2020 kilos 30 kilos I
don't know, you lift it, maybe you can. But you injure yourself, you work your muscles, you go back
to bed and you know, you're all bandaged and everything. Because there was no wisdom in it. Just
that just zeal just enthusiasm is the same thing. Exactly the same thing with the Koran. So how do
you start?

00:37:56 --> 00:38:04
			You start gentle with the intent of this is going to be something permanent. So you asked yourself,
what is it that I can read that I can read every day?

00:38:07 --> 00:38:28
			What is it that I can read that I can read every day, a page, you commit to you ask yourself a page,
I can commit to a page, a page I'm talking about page in the auto becomes off, right? So not the
English translation because you can gauge with how much they have in a page. But let's say 10 is 20
is this is I can commit to 30 is that's it. You start with that.

00:38:30 --> 00:38:31
			And you spend a week

00:38:32 --> 00:38:33
			you spend two weeks.

00:38:34 --> 00:38:48
			And so Panama naturally, as your body adjusts, as your soul adjusts, naturally, you're sitting on
your reading and naturally you will say that's not a lot finished very quickly to the music, I can
add 10 more naturally, she'll add 10 more.

00:38:50 --> 00:39:10
			And then you will spend another week or two weeks with these 4050 is and then you'll add a little
bit more a little bit more. And what's important too is also consistency. Don't miss it. This from
the Sunnah of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam and from CSF enough because if you miss it,
it's easy to miss it the next day, the self is lazy.

00:39:11 --> 00:39:34
			But if you are committed, the self knows, oh, this person is committed. I'm committed so I'm not
going to leave this. So the Prophet sallallahu wasallam if he would miss his portion of the Salah at
night, he would pray it in the morning. He would not just forget it, he prayed in the morning same
thing if this you missed your portion of the Quran reading the Quran or any other righteous action
you make it

00:39:35 --> 00:39:44
			either that later that day or the next day. So that you know you will never leave this thing and
this is the way that it becomes what a constant practice.

00:39:45 --> 00:39:50
			So this is the first principle The second principle of siesta to knifes balance.

00:39:52 --> 00:39:59
			We all the time. All of us need to maintain balance. Balance in our religious duties and balance.

00:40:00 --> 00:40:04
			between our religious and worldly duties so there is here this hadith

00:40:06 --> 00:40:10
			it's an interaction between those have at the end of it is a hottie. So here

00:40:11 --> 00:40:13
			at fatty Cyril the allow visits

00:40:16 --> 00:40:28
			and when he visits are with that he finds that the wife who did that wasn't home he finds that the
wife of the dad was wearing shabby clothes, buy old raggedy clothes.

00:40:29 --> 00:40:34
			So he says what is with you? or What is the matter? So she says, Your brother

00:40:36 --> 00:40:37
			is not interested in this world.

00:40:39 --> 00:40:40
			So what is this mean?

00:40:41 --> 00:40:50
			is not interested in this role, it doesn't pay attention to me. So there is no need for me to wear
like nice clothes and you know, take care of myself, he just doesn't care.

00:40:52 --> 00:41:07
			So he waits for him. I would that that comes he makes food for sell man or the Aloma and he says eat
and fasting. So speaking to some money says eat and fasting. He says this man says I will not eat
until you eat.

00:41:08 --> 00:41:11
			So he insists so he breaks his fast and he eats with them.

00:41:13 --> 00:41:14
			Then they go to sleep,

00:41:16 --> 00:41:31
			wants to go and pray. He says No Go and sleep. So they sleep then that that wakes up wants to go and
praises no go back and sleep. So he sleeps. So when was the last part of the night he says now you
stand up and pray. So both they prayed. So after you they prayed.

00:41:33 --> 00:41:52
			Solomon says in Arabic Arabic haka well enough to cover the iconic haka, particularly Hopkin haka.
He says, Allah has arrived upon you, and your self has arrived upon you and your family has arrived
upon you. So give, give each the right that belongs to them,

00:41:53 --> 00:41:55
			which is what balance

00:41:57 --> 00:42:07
			be balanced. So with that, that went and he said, underrated to the prophets of Allah, you said all
that had happened. And the Prophet said, sort of Sandman, Sandman has spoken the truth.

00:42:09 --> 00:42:32
			So again, you could be a very good adult who can be like that, you can be a very wise and very pious
person. But you could like this balance, sometimes especially their zeal for worship, if you really
want to worship Allah subhanho wa Taala. And the Prophet sallallahu wasallam had to treat that. So
every part of your life needs balance.

00:42:33 --> 00:42:39
			So you can take care of one part and neglect the other part because when you neglect the other part,
what happens,

00:42:40 --> 00:42:47
			that imbalance will spread into the part that you're trying to take care of, and ruin it. And again,
you won't be able to continue.

00:42:49 --> 00:42:55
			So if I'm trying to be strict, strict, strict all the time, or loose, loose, loose all the time,
I'll fail.

00:42:56 --> 00:43:00
			Because it's an imbalance and you can't as a human survive with an imbalance in your life.

00:43:03 --> 00:43:10
			One of the nice sayings here Robin, when a bear says he says McDougal Hekmati it would happen at an
rpd. And

00:43:12 --> 00:43:39
			he says, Well, he says it is written in the wisdom of David. And he said, Our meaning is referring
to probably one of the books that references David, maybe the Psalms of David, we don't need to go
and search and look for it. He's saying it's written there. Either he has seen it himself or
somebody told him about it. We don't care about whether it's authentically narrated to that would le
salon or not, but that there's wisdom in it. So he's saying that it is written in it,

00:43:40 --> 00:43:45
			that the wise person should not neglect four types of hours or four times.

00:43:46 --> 00:43:53
			One hour or one time where he is alone with a loss of power to Allah communicating with him, so I
can unit up out of that.

00:43:56 --> 00:44:08
			The next hour was the attorney who has the vnfs and an hour that he refuse reviews and checks what
he has done. So the first hour is an hour where you are alone with Allah, you need that hour.

00:44:09 --> 00:44:15
			And again, by saying hour, I don't mean an hour of 60 minutes of 60 seconds right? A time.

00:44:17 --> 00:44:20
			The next is an hour you sit with yourself.

00:44:22 --> 00:44:30
			And this is what happened to us. We'll talk about it in sha Allah at a later time. When will have
the opportunity to sit with yourself and you say, what did you do today?

00:44:31 --> 00:44:59
			you've planned to do these good things did you do them? Was it for Allah as origin? What did you say
today? was it necessary that you say it? Why did you say this bad thing? How are you gonna have that
forgiven? So review on what you did and what you did not do what you said and what you did not say?
I'm trying to fix it. This is the hour of herself that you spend with yourself. And he says an hour
or a time where he is with his

00:45:00 --> 00:45:42
			Whether and his true Brethren, who are honest with him about his reality, and his mistakes, meaning
sitting with people who are honest with you and tell you, this is what is wrong with you, this is
what is wrong with you. This is what's how you can fix it. And this is what you can fix it. They
don't exaggerate. They don't praise you, beyond what is in you, they're really honest with you about
your faults and mistakes. So it could be an honest reflection. And the last hour is an hour that he
lets himself free to enjoy the blessings of Allah subhana wa Tada, and what he desires, as long as
it is halal and decent, because he says, fair enough, he had his own allotted casati Hmm. And we'll

00:45:42 --> 00:45:53
			call because in that hour, that last hour that our relaxation and refreshments, it will help him
attain the elder hours, and will refresh his heart.

00:45:55 --> 00:46:05
			See the balance that I'm talking about here, the balance of you want these three hours, you will not
be able to get these three hours without time that you actually sit and relax.

00:46:06 --> 00:46:23
			And you take what you desire from what Allah subhana wa Taala had allowed. When you do that, the
heart is reflect refreshed, energized again. Right. And when you do that, then you can go and be
alone with Allah subhana wa tada and talk to him and then have

00:46:24 --> 00:46:31
			and be with your brothers. But you miss some of these hours and there's imbalance. So

00:46:32 --> 00:46:59
			not only balance, right between our religious duties and non religious duties, but also balance in
our religious duties, and sentiments as well balanced and how we worship Allah having fear and law
and home balance. And what we're talking about here in Sharla hopes to achieve a balance between the
worship the exterior worship and the interior worship, we're not focused on one and neglecting the
others. Right?

00:47:01 --> 00:47:15
			balance between doing what Allah commanded and staying away from what Allah prohibited, so balanced
everywhere. And that's the life of the Muslim and the believer that they give each area its do.

00:47:16 --> 00:47:16
			Right.

00:47:18 --> 00:47:23
			The third principle inshallah, that we will stress today is seeking assistance.

00:47:25 --> 00:47:29
			When you're traveling, you sometimes need somebody to tell you

00:47:30 --> 00:47:31
			how much distance you've covered.

00:47:32 --> 00:47:39
			And if you are going in the right direction or not, right. Sometimes you need somebody to talk to

00:47:40 --> 00:47:42
			somebody is sometimes you need someone

00:47:43 --> 00:47:54
			to give you fuel, or food, if it's not available on the road, meaning you need company or you need
strength or you need fuel. So you need assistance.

00:47:56 --> 00:48:00
			So, when where and when do you get this assistance.

00:48:01 --> 00:48:03
			You get it all the time.

00:48:04 --> 00:48:07
			And you get it principally from Allah subhanho wa Taala.

00:48:09 --> 00:48:11
			There is you have to feel and I have to feel

00:48:13 --> 00:48:36
			that I cannot do this without Allah subhanho wa Taala as my help and aid I cannot reach what I want
to reach without having trust in Him and reliance on him that I through him subhanho wa Taala can
achieve what I can achieve. So I need his help. And I through him can be protected from what I need
to be protected from. It's not only my own effort, you follow

00:48:38 --> 00:49:03
			so where is our dependence on Allah subhanho wa Taala we always think it's more just my own effort,
my own protection, my own wisdom. The law needs to protect me Allah needs to help me a lot Nick it
needs to get given me a a like he needs to give given me this email. So how do you do that you keep
connecting with Allah Subhana Allah to Allah through your adkar remembering Allah all the time
through the Quran by reading the Quran and understanding it.

00:49:05 --> 00:49:08
			And through your worship of Allah subhana wa tada in general and through

00:49:10 --> 00:49:12
			asking Allah subhana wa tada

00:49:14 --> 00:49:34
			Allah give me guidance Allah give me power. Allah give me the patience. Allah give me the insight.
Allah give me the power to overcome when I need to overcome because I'm weak by myself. One of the
beautiful things that has occurred that we need to remember we will whenever you want to do
something is like Hola, hola. quwata illa

00:49:36 --> 00:49:38
			there is no power.

00:49:39 --> 00:49:50
			Except with Allah. There is no mind except with Allah, whether I want to do something or stay away
from something. There is no power except with Allah. You're saying to Allah. As you're repeating the
lie, I have no power.

00:49:51 --> 00:49:53
			The power all comes from you.

00:49:55 --> 00:49:57
			And that's what Allah loves to hear. So Allah assist me.

00:49:58 --> 00:49:59
			So the other man say that

00:50:00 --> 00:50:11
			There is nothing better that you can use and say, when you want to achieve something difficult than
this thing, because Allah will assist you. So if there's like something difficult that you are going
to go and do

00:50:13 --> 00:50:21
			expecting difficulty in it, or there is actual difficulty in it, and you want help and aid, use the
high level afterwards 11

00:50:22 --> 00:50:28
			like lifting something heavy, and saying, Yeah, I can't do it alone, have a lesson, bring someone to
help you.

00:50:29 --> 00:50:38
			That's how it's like. So remember, this is one of the treasures of that Jenna that hold over the
water in the law.

00:50:39 --> 00:51:06
			And also, some of that assistance comes from understanding the lives and the biographies of those
who lives before that before us. Because they went through the same things that we are going
through, how did they overcome their struggles? How do they hold on to their imana? How did they
persevere? What insights can they lend us all that lends assistance in sha Allah and fuel to our
quest in reaching Allah Subhana Allah to Allah.

00:51:08 --> 00:51:11
			And the last thing that I want to say and that is the most delicate of it,

00:51:12 --> 00:51:15
			is that you need to understand yourself better.

00:51:17 --> 00:51:23
			And it's true that I don't think that we especially in this age, we understand ourselves better
because we're busy doing so many other things.

00:51:25 --> 00:51:37
			Understanding yourself better beans, what understanding what you really need, at this moment in your
life, what is really troubling you and you need to fix at this moment in your life.

00:51:38 --> 00:51:49
			I and you are not at the same exact stage in our life, I am you don't have the same exact
experience, the path the general path that is taking us to Allah subhana wa tada is the same path.

00:51:50 --> 00:52:01
			But within it, it varies a little bit. It varies a little bit. And what works for me doesn't
necessarily or is not necessarily the same thing that will work for you at this stage.

00:52:03 --> 00:52:04
			Likewise,

00:52:06 --> 00:52:20
			you find the Sahaba of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam right you see the variations all of
them had that piety have that couple had that he meant that there are differences between them,
right? There's someone among us, some people among them were rich.

00:52:21 --> 00:52:33
			Some people among them, they stayed away from money by choice, stayed away. This is the thing that
worked for them, the other people, the other thing worked for them.

00:52:34 --> 00:52:51
			specialization even among the Sahaba, this person was known to be excellent in the Koran. They were
they were well rounded scholars, definitely. But a specialization. This person knows the ground very
well. You can take it from him. This person had

00:52:53 --> 00:52:56
			another person who had another person he's known for his jihad.

00:52:57 --> 00:53:01
			specialization, there are differences there are individual differences.

00:53:02 --> 00:53:21
			Even among the pious predecessors that followed. there were differences in what they specialized in
it. Take for instance, the example of a hammer and a hammer and I'm going to try to be brief
inshallah, take the example that I handed. You see the food and other kind of life that he used to
have very humble the food that he used to eat very humble very little.

00:53:22 --> 00:53:25
			Right. That's the type of taqwa that's the type of food that he had.

00:53:27 --> 00:53:29
			someone likes a funny story

00:53:30 --> 00:53:33
			is a great day. A great scholar.

00:53:34 --> 00:53:47
			But Sophie and Sophie when he used to travel he used to carry with him find sweets, and barbecued
meat when he travels, like delicacies. And he says in a de

00:53:48 --> 00:53:54
			la homina. He says that the animal when you treat it, right,

00:53:55 --> 00:53:56
			it will do what it wants from

00:53:58 --> 00:54:00
			this is a person who understood himself.

00:54:01 --> 00:54:12
			So what is he saying that he's saying basically without these things, myself, minus is not going to
obey me. I know it. I like these things and then they're not

00:54:14 --> 00:54:39
			but he's employing there that CSR? Okay, I will give you this nice sweets, nothing wrong about it.
barbecued meat, nothing haram about it. But he says when I do this, it will be compliant. It will
listen to me, and I know if I don't rebel. So you need to understand yourself I need to understand
myself and say, what is it that I need? What is my nature Really? What is the thing that is really
troubling me.

00:54:41 --> 00:54:53
			And I have here a project for you in Sharla when you go home, right? And this project is to try to
understand yourself better. And it basically is the following. You sit with yourself alone

00:54:54 --> 00:55:00
			and look at something that is troubling you write something that is upsetting.

00:55:00 --> 00:55:03
			You, especially something that keeps repeating.

00:55:04 --> 00:55:24
			I can't tell you what it is, it could be that I have a problem with anger. It could be I've written
some of them, it could be that I have a problem with anger, it could be, for instance, that I'm too
curious. And when I'm curious, it gets me in trouble. I asked too many questions. And it could be
that I have too much free time. And I don't know, I don't know what to do with it gets me in
trouble.

00:55:25 --> 00:55:29
			It could be this, it could be this, it could be that something that is really troubling, you

00:55:30 --> 00:55:35
			identify it, isolate it, right, and then examine it

00:55:36 --> 00:55:54
			and say, why is it that I'm suffering? Why is it that this is troubling me, and try to go to the
root causes of it, to the root causes of it. And I'll give you example, very quickly of anger,
because we can't, you know, go through all of them. Anger.

00:55:55 --> 00:55:57
			I get angry quickly.

00:55:58 --> 00:56:02
			Ask yourself first. What do I do when I get angry?

00:56:03 --> 00:56:05
			1234 write it down.

00:56:06 --> 00:56:10
			You say yourself, what is the thing that is making me angry?

00:56:11 --> 00:56:33
			These words, these deeds? Are these people write it down? Now ask yourself a more important
questions. Why are these words and these deeds? Are these people making me angry? What is the thing
inside of me deeper now? Because this is just secondary? What is the primary reason why I'm getting
I'm getting angry? What attachment to I have? Do I have to this dounia?

00:56:34 --> 00:56:36
			Or to my ego?

00:56:37 --> 00:56:48
			Right? The Prophet sallallahu Sallam would not get angry, unless the commands of Allah are violated,
if he's personally attacked, doesn't get angry? How do you get that? Right?

00:56:49 --> 00:56:57
			So he asked himself, what attachments Do I have to this dunya to my past a painful memory, or
anxiety of something in the future?

00:56:58 --> 00:57:09
			Or something that is deep inside, identified that and then write it down? And when you write it
down, then you've identified the real reasons why you're angry.

00:57:11 --> 00:57:23
			It's not because someone said so and so yes, that triggers it. But the real reason why that makes
you angry, is something deeper, that is the reason or that is the thing on the cause that we need to
work on.

00:57:24 --> 00:57:35
			And then go to the things your reaction to that anger, and say, How can I change my reaction? So I
can change the person in front of me?

00:57:38 --> 00:57:55
			Because as long as you let the other person dictate how you should feel and how should you react,
they are the person who are in control, right? Now, how can you change yourself and your reactions
to that you can change this person directly or indirectly. So this is your homework, whatever that
thing that is upsetting you.

00:57:56 --> 00:57:59
			The thing that is deep inside that is troubling, you identify.

00:58:01 --> 00:58:17
			And again, you need to know yourself and I need to know yourself anxiety, why do I suffer from this
anxiety, dig deeper, and ask questions? What am I afraid of? What is this telling us saying about my
email and my relationship with Allah, my attachment to this dunya

00:58:18 --> 00:58:25
			and then you can treat the root causes, rather than the superficial symptom.

00:58:26 --> 00:59:05
			Right. So this is your homework, inshallah. And I would really appreciate it if you can, you don't
have to do it. And again, if you actually do it, and you can come back and you say, yeah, this is
what I found without divulging any secrets, but this is what I really found about myself. And it
really helped. Right, and you can make this into a project, you can write it down, you can have your
own notebook. This is my heart therapy notebook. And you can write this right and treat yourself and
you need also knowledge of Islam. Not knowledge of Islam as needed. But you can try to treat
yourself through knowing yourself better. And if you find that it's successful, you can repeat with

00:59:05 --> 00:59:08
			another thing that is struggling.

00:59:09 --> 00:59:34
			So inshallah see if it works, or if not, if not, and shall shall also let me know. So Zakouma here,
that's what I have for tonight. ask Allah subhanaw taala to make use of those who hear and apply and
to benefit us with the good that we hear and ask a lot to mend our hearts and protect us or
szczepanik along with the Hambrick issue, either in a stockbroker to liquid hungry
