The importance of prayer and worshipping Allah is emphasized in Islam, with emphasis on the profit of praying every half an hour and the importance of remembering oneself and worshipping Allah. Prayerers are instructed to pray before the time of prayer, as it is difficult for someone to miss the time or travel. Practice involves holding a basket between two objects, reciting the holy grail, and following proper order. The process of praying involves reciting the holy grail, reciting the holy grail in the beginning of the prayer, and following proper order. The importance of praying for others, even those who aren't Muslims, is emphasized, as it is necessary for everyone to be disciplined and respectful of others' actions. The transcript is not a conversation or interactions between speakers, and it is a recording and a transcription of a video.

00:00:58 --> 00:01:22
			welcome to this prayer workshop inshallah in the next couple of hours we're going to learn about the
most important aspects of the prayer. So inshallah what we're going to be covering within this
course today is a few points number one the importance of prayer so that's the first thing shallow
to cover. Number two abandoning the prayer or delaying the prayer number three

00:01:24 --> 00:01:42
			preconditions of the prayer so what you need to do before you actually start praying number four
developing Kishore and we'll discuss what that means and what it is inshallah bit later on. Number
five, the pillars of the prayer. And that's the most important parts of the prayer. So when actually
praying, what you have to do.

00:01:43 --> 00:02:09
			Number six, the obligatory actions of the prayer, and we'll discuss what the difference is between
pillars and obligatory actions and what each one means inshallah, when we come there, man of the
prayer. So that's the description of the prayer, how do you actually pray in a physical way? And
then miscellaneous issues, any other issues connected to the prayer? So that's going to be basically
the course outline. That's what we're going to cover in general, and obviously there's going to be a
lot of detail with regards to that.

00:02:10 --> 00:02:13
			I want to start off by asking you a question.

00:02:15 --> 00:02:19
			The question is Who knows what the israa and Mirage Has anyone heard of this run Mirage?

00:02:21 --> 00:02:23
			is one person, Masha Allah?

00:02:24 --> 00:02:26
			Was the Israel on Mirage Who can tell me

00:02:29 --> 00:02:36
			who knows what that is? Ron mirages is something which took place in the time of our profits on a
long rally you send them something that happened to him.

00:02:40 --> 00:03:22
			Okay, so it's random Mirage is the Night Journey, right? The Night Journey. We're in the single
night the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam went from Makkah to Jerusalem, and then to heaven.
Does everyone heard of that story? Everyone knows the story, right? So the process a lot more night,
the Angel jabril Kane. He took him from Makkah, all the way to Jerusalem in the same night. So it's
a miracle of Allah. They took him to Jerusalem. In Jerusalem, he prayed with all of the prophets. So
he led all of them in prayer in masjidul Aqsa and then he ascended to the heavens, and he went
through all of the seven heavens number 1234567 until he finally came and he spoke to Allah subhanho

00:03:22 --> 00:03:25
			wa Taala right. Does anyone know which prophets he met on that night?

00:03:27 --> 00:03:30
			So on the first heaven who did you meet on heaven number one?

00:03:33 --> 00:03:35
			No, not the first seven was the first one that

00:03:37 --> 00:03:37
			have a number one.

00:03:39 --> 00:03:45
			The profit add the Mallinson right. So profit Adam was number one. Number two was

00:03:46 --> 00:03:50
			the second one was Lisa and the true profit

00:03:52 --> 00:03:53
			are you sir and

00:03:57 --> 00:04:04
			Lisa and yahia? alima Sena recently here one heaven number two. Who was heaven number three?

00:04:08 --> 00:04:08
			Nope.

00:04:12 --> 00:04:13
			Nope.

00:04:17 --> 00:04:18
			Who was on heaven? Number three.

00:04:22 --> 00:04:22
			Anyone?

00:04:24 --> 00:04:24
			Know?

00:04:26 --> 00:04:30
			The Prophet ilias. Right. Who was heaven number four.

00:04:40 --> 00:04:42
			No, no, no.

00:04:47 --> 00:04:47
			Sorry.

00:04:49 --> 00:04:49
			Now

00:04:53 --> 00:04:54
			we don't have a number for

00:04:57 --> 00:04:59
			heaven number four was

00:05:03 --> 00:05:05
			Oh noes. That's good.

00:05:07 --> 00:05:08
			Okay have a number five

00:05:10 --> 00:05:11
			have a number five

00:05:14 --> 00:05:32
			that's the Prophet. How long have a number six was? moose and heaven number seven was Ibrahim after
Ibrahim Moto, the processor limbo. He went and he spoke to Allah. What did Allah say to him? What
did Allah or one of the things that Allah said to him on that night was?

00:05:34 --> 00:05:37
			Okay, pour off. What did he make obligatory?

00:05:39 --> 00:05:42
			The prayer, right? How many prayers were made obligatory?

00:05:45 --> 00:05:58
			50. Right. 50. So 50 prayers every single day, and every single night. So every day and night, you
have to pray 50 prayers. How many hours are in a day?

00:05:59 --> 00:06:07
			24. Right. So if you bring 50 prayers every day and night, how often are you praying within 24
hours?

00:06:08 --> 00:06:10
			If you space them out equally, how often are you praying?

00:06:12 --> 00:06:12
			Every

00:06:14 --> 00:06:54
			roughly every half an hour, right? So every 30 minutes, you have to pray. So imagine that just
imagine now, you wake up in the morning, right? Hopefully you guys wake up early, right? So you wake
up at seven o'clock and you pray 730 you have to pray again. Eight o'clock, you have to pray again.
Even though you have to go to school 830 you have to pray again, nine o'clock, you're praying again.
And then you're praying like that all the way until you go to sleep. So if you go to sleep at 10 or
11 1130, you have to wake up again to pray 12 you have to pray again. 1230 you have to pray again.
Even at two, three o'clock in the morning used to crane, every half an hour you're praying. That's

00:06:54 --> 00:07:27
			how many prayers ALLAH made obligatory for us at the beginning. And then the prophets Allah, Allah,
Allah, Allah, Allah says in the story, which I'm sure you all know, the prophets of Salaam goes back
to the Prophet Musa. What is the Prophet Musa say? What did Allah say to you? And the prophets of
Salaam says, Allah said, me and my, my people have to pray 50 times every day and night, every day
and 50 times. So the Prophet Musa said, Go back to Allah, and ask him to make it less, because your
people won't be able to do it.

00:07:29 --> 00:07:31
			Is anyone here that could pray every half an hour.

00:07:32 --> 00:07:49
			Imagine having to pray every half an hour. So you have to make widow every half an hour, if you
break through, and you have to pray every half an hour. And so Moses said is too much go back to
Allah. So the prophet SAW Selim and back to Allah, Allah say, instead of 50, it's now

00:07:51 --> 00:07:52
			45.

00:07:53 --> 00:07:54
			So five of

00:07:55 --> 00:08:00
			again, the Prophet Musa said, still too much go back. So then what Allah say,

00:08:02 --> 00:08:02
			14,

00:08:03 --> 00:08:22
			and it keeps going down to the promises and them keep keeps going back to Prophet Musa and keeps
going back to Allah, and it keeps decreasing in five. So 4540 3530 2520 1510, until finally, five.
And then what does the Prophet Musa say?

00:08:23 --> 00:08:49
			Go back again. Even fives too much, your people won't be able to do it. And that's why we find today
unfortunately, that many of our Muslims, our brothers and sisters, don't pray, even fives too much
from 50. It came down to five, from praying every half an hour. Now you only have to pray five
times. But even then it's still too much. So the Prophet Musa said go back, what did the processor
limb say?

00:08:50 --> 00:09:35
			I'm too shy. I'm too embarrassed to go back again, from 50 came down to five, I can't go back now,
if we can't even do five. And so the professor said, I can't go back. I'm too shy, I'm too
embarrassed. So Allah said to him, that it was already decreed that it would only be five prayers in
a day and night, five prayers, but the reward will be 50. So for every prayer that you pray, you're
rewarded 10 times that amount. So for one prayer, you rewarded 10 so even though you only pray five
times, you get the reward of 50. So Allah said, is already been decreed Allah had already decided
that it was never going to be 50 it was always going to be five. So why did Allah then make the

00:09:35 --> 00:09:52
			profit or sell them go back and forth between himself and the Prophet Musa? Why did the prophet or
seldom go back so many times? Why did Allah start at the number 50? Why didn't Allah just start at
five, just make it easy to say five and that's the end of the story, while the last 50

00:09:57 --> 00:09:57
			sorry.

00:10:00 --> 00:10:07
			No, I wouldn't have to go down from five Lakota cities just five. And that's another story, right
end of the story and then the process and I'm just comes back home.

00:10:17 --> 00:10:34
			Okay, so that's one benefit to show how the processor limb cared for his people. Right? So the
processor knew that we wouldn't be able to pray so many times. So he wanted to make things easier
for us. He knew that 50 would be too much. So he wanted to make life easier for us.

00:10:36 --> 00:10:37
			Sorry,

00:10:39 --> 00:10:39
			to

00:10:44 --> 00:10:45
			humanity.

00:10:55 --> 00:10:56
			Oh, to see if we can manage No.

00:10:59 --> 00:11:05
			Sorry. Can you guys not lean on the walls? Come on, you guys on 50 right now, like 10

00:11:07 --> 00:11:09
			allows us enormous artist?

00:11:11 --> 00:11:51
			No, okay. One of the other reasons is to show the mercy of Allah, that Allah is merciful, he could
have made it 50. And then every time you missed a prayer from those 50, you'd be sinful, you'd be
disobeying Allah, and Allah could have made it 50. But out of the mercy of Allah, He made it easy
for us, he made it fine. But the main reason that I wanted to mention to you why Allah started at
50. And then he came down to five is to show us that we should constantly be worshipping Allah, that
what Allah wants us to do is every half an hour remember him, meaning throughout the day, and the
night more or less, all of the time that you're awake, and even before you go to sleep. And when you

00:11:51 --> 00:12:34
			wake up, all you're doing is remembering Allah, you're worshiping Allah, you're coming closer to
Allah. And that's why Allah started at 50. To show this is really how much you should be doing, but
are at the mercy of Allah, it comes down to five. But really, what you should be aiming for, is to
worship Allah so much. And so we have the prayer. And the prayer is one of the best ways to remember
and worship Allah subhanho wa Taala. The prayer was the first thing to become obligatory from all of
the actions of Islam, the prayer was the first one to become obligatory, to show its importance, to
show that it is one of the best ways that you can worship Allah subhanho wa Taala and come close to

00:12:34 --> 00:12:43
			him. And that's why the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said that the first thing that you will
be asked about on the Day of Judgment, is the prayer.

00:12:45 --> 00:13:22
			The first thing that you will be asked about on the Day of Judgment, is the prayer. So you won't be
asked about your family, you won't be asked about your job, you won't be asked about your money, you
won't be asked about what you did with your time, you will be asked about the prayer. Did you pray?
Or Didn't you pray? That's the first thing right there. And then depending on your answer, either
you've passed or you failed. If you use, if your prayer is good, and you pass that, then everything
else will be easy. But if you fail at the first question, then everything else that Allah asks you
will be more difficult. And that's why one of the things that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa

00:13:22 --> 00:13:44
			sallam said, protect a person in their grave. When a person dies, they go into the grave, and some
people will be punished in their grave because of their sins. One of the things that will protect
you in the grave is your prayer. So when the punishment wants to come, or the angels want to come
and they want to ask you questions, it will be the the prayer that will say, No,

00:13:45 --> 00:14:25
			don't come and don't have this person, and so they will protect him. Likewise, the Prophet
sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said that on the Day of Judgment, the prayer will come and intercede on
your behalf. So the prayer will come and say, Our Lord, don't punish this person. Because in the
night, when everyone else was asleep, this person would stay awake, praying, he would recite the
Quran in his prayer. So well, Lord, don't punish them. And that's why in Ramadan, we have the
throwaway prayer. And this year, it's going to be really late. It's going to be like 10, half 1011
o'clock, when most other people are winding down, the getting ready to go to sleep. They just like

00:14:25 --> 00:14:59
			changing their clothes or getting ready to finish their day. Were in the masjid praying. When
everyone else is asleep, we're still praying. And so on the Day of Judgment, the prayer will
intercede on our behalf in sha Allah will say, Our Lord might punish this person, because this
person stayed awake, praying whilst everyone else was asleep. And so the Prophet sallallahu alayhi
wa sallam, one of the last things that he said before he died, and when the processor was about to
die, the words that he chose what he said to the people was the most important things. And one of
the last things that he said before

00:15:00 --> 00:15:09
			He died to his people was that you need to pray the prayer, the prayer, reminding us of the
importance of praying in Islam.

00:15:10 --> 00:15:56
			So, what we want to do is firstly understand what the prayer actually is. What does the word prayer
mean in Arabic? The word for prayer is Sunnah. Right? namaz is the old word right? Salah is the
Arabic word. And so prayer in Arabic is Salah, which linguistically in Arabic means to supplicate or
to make dua. So when you're saying Salah in Arabic language, it is to make dua to supplicate. And
that's why when the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, when we make salad upon him, when we say
sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, or we say Allahumma salli ala Muhammad Allah Allah Muhammad, this is
solid upon the prophets of Salaam we're making dua for him was supplicating for him. And this is

00:15:56 --> 00:16:02
			also called solar. But solar the one that we're talking about is obviously the the one that is known
as the prayer

00:16:04 --> 00:16:45
			what it means basically, so in Arabic, he means to ah, but basically when we speak about salah and
the prayer, what we mean is a set of one note actions and statements that begin with the tech bill
and end with the slim. What's that be saying? Allahu Akbar when you begin the prayer? What's the
slim, saying a salaam aleikum. wa rahmatullah salaam aleikum wa rahmatullah when you finish the
prayer, everything in between these two things Allahu Akbar and a salaam aleikum wa rahmatullah
everything in between. So everything you say, everything you do, whether you're standing or you're
bowing or your prostrating, all of this is the prayer. So it begins with a finishes with the steam,

00:16:45 --> 00:16:48
			everything else in between is the prayer.

00:16:50 --> 00:17:30
			What is the proof of the prayer? How do we know it's a part of Islam? I've given you already one
evidence from the story of this random Iran when the prophet SAW sentiment to the heavens, and there
are many many other proofs over at times in the Quran does Allah subhanaw dialers speak about the
prayer in different scenarios and in different ways? And one of the most famous ways that Allah
speaks about it is He says, What happy masala established the prayer, pray at its due time. Likewise
the prophets are seldom said and pray for them. Indeed, your prayer is tranquility for them. And so
there are different proofs throughout the Quran. And throughout the Sunnah of the Prophet sallallahu

00:17:30 --> 00:18:09
			alayhi wa sallam that show us the importance of the prayer, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam
to show the importance of prayer and especially praying in congregation in JAMA in the masjid, the
Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam once said to his companions, that I want to start the prayer and
then go to the houses of people that don't pray in the mosque, and then I would burn down their
houses on them. So the prophets of Salaam to show how important the prayer was. He wanted to burn
down the houses of people that didn't pray to show how important it was. And so all of this shows us
the status of the prayer in Islam.

00:18:12 --> 00:18:18
			This is a famous statement of a scholar of Islam ignore pain Rahim Allah tala

00:18:19 --> 00:18:39
			will we're in monopoly and says servitude to Allah is only truly realized by the worship of prayer.
This is because of the true sincerity and humility, that prayer embodies over and above the other
pillars and nourishes the soul, giving a person the ability to rise up to the obligations and stay
away from the prohibitions.

00:18:40 --> 00:18:43
			I have a question for you. What's the best thing?

00:18:45 --> 00:18:49
			What's the best thing that you can be in the sight of Allah subhanho wa Taala.

00:18:51 --> 00:18:54
			What is the best thing that Allah loves about us?

00:18:58 --> 00:18:59
			praying, okay.

00:19:00 --> 00:19:01
			Yeah,

00:19:02 --> 00:19:20
			I will worship of him. or in another way, I was servitude. When the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa
sallam was approached by the angel Jabri. The angel gabriel gave him two choices. He said to him,
either you can be a prophet, and a king, or a messenger and a servant.

00:19:22 --> 00:19:32
			Or you can be a prophet or a king. So he's to be a prophet, but he'd also be a king. Or he could be
a messenger of Allah. And he could be a servant. Which one did he choose?

00:19:36 --> 00:20:00
			He chose to be a messenger and a seventh didn't choose to be a king. So there were other prophets
who were kings, right? So like, for example, the prophet that would the Prophet Solomon, other
prophets of Allah will kings, Allah gave him the kingdom, the prophet Yusuf, they were kings on
earth, and they were prophets of Allah. But when the bruxism was given this choice, he said, No, I
don't want to be a prophet.

00:20:00 --> 00:20:15
			King, I want to be a messenger and a servant. So the best thing and we know that the prophets of
Salaam is the best of everyone, why is the best person ever. And so that shows that the best thing
that a person can be is a servant of Allah.

00:20:16 --> 00:20:58
			And that's why when people would come to the professor solemn, and they would praise Him, and they
would call him nice names, he would say, No, call me, Abdullah. He was solo, call me the slave of
Allah and His messenger. That's my station. So the highest station that a person can aspire and
achieve, is to be a slave of Allah. But to be a true slave of Allah, because everyone's a slave of
Allah, even the non Muslims are slaves of Allah. But to be a true slave of Allah means that you
submit everything to Allah. So even though you're tired in the morning, and it's time for pleasure,
to be a true state of Allah means that you wake up, you get out of the bed, you make widow, and you

00:20:58 --> 00:21:16
			pray, even though it's difficult, even though you're tired, even though the waters probably called
being a true state to Allah, is that even when Aisha is 11 o'clock in the night and you're tired,
you've had a long day, you really you want to go to sleep, you don't want to pray, you wait until
Russia and you pray.

00:21:17 --> 00:21:58
			Being a true state of Allah is that even in the month of Ramadan, and Ramadan is in the summer month
and the fasts are really long, and it's hot, and it's difficult to fast and you get thirsty, and you
probably have to go to school or do other things as well. You still fast. That's what it means to be
a true slave of Allah subhanho wa Taala. And so that's what this statement is saying. That servitude
being a slave of Allah is the best thing that you can be. Now this is kind of weird, right? Because
if I was to call someone, a slave advisor to your slave, you probably punch me, right? Because you
don't call people say roadside law, law, something that anyone wants to be a cold, right? You don't

00:21:58 --> 00:22:30
			go run to people saying you're a slave. You're my slave, right? You don't go around doing that
because people don't like it. But when it comes to Allah, it's unreasonable. It's good. Because
Allah is the Creator of everything. And to be the slave of Allah is the best thing that you can be.
And so even though amongst ourselves, we don't like to be called slaves, I'm not your slave. You're
not my slave, but to Allah, all of us are slaves. And so what we compete with one another in is to
be the best slave and servant of Allah subhanho wa Taala.

00:22:32 --> 00:23:14
			In the prayer, the slave meets his Lord. So we know from the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam
that when you're praying, you're having a direct conversation with Allah. You're meeting Allah
subhanho wa Taala, five times a day. So when you reciting for example, Surah Fatiha Allah is
responding to you. When you say al hamdu Lillahi Rabbil alameen Allah says, My servant has praised
me. When you say Rahman Rahim, Allah says again my servant has glorified me. When you say Maliki or
median again Allah says My servant has praised and glorified me. And then when you say er cannot
undo what ya can Stein, Allah says, This is for my slave, and there is for him what he wishes. And

00:23:14 --> 00:23:55
			then when you finish the surah Idina throttlestop him sirata Levine, Adam tally Himalayan Mazel Tov
era himolla. Darlene, again, Allah says, it is for you what you ask, whatever you ask from Allah,
Allah will give you. That's why the prophet SAW Selim said that when you're in the sajida, that's
the closest place that you are to Allah. Your closest position to Allah is when you're prostrating,
when you're making surgeon. So when you make dua in your center, you ask Allah for, to help you in
your life to help you in your religion to help you in the next life. Allah will respond to you. It
is a conversation that you have with Allah, it is he who he worships, and it is he only four movies

00:23:55 --> 00:24:30
			seeks help. It is only from him that he seeks guidance with that he is filled with the light from
his Lord, by which he steals his way through life. The prayer and his rejuvenation enable him to do
what is right and avoid what is wrong. So Praise be to Allah forgiving us such a noble act to
worship Him by. And so when a person prays, what you're essentially doing is humiliating and
humbling yourself. You're making yourself act low. Why? If I was to say to one of you, I want you to
put your head on the ground for me. Put your head on the ground for me, I want you to prostrate to
me or want you to bow to me.

00:24:31 --> 00:24:59
			You wouldn't do it right, because it's humiliating to put your head down on the ground to lie down
because I told you to lie down to act like in a low manner. People don't do it right. It's something
which is offensive. before Allah when we pray, we bow down. When we pray, we prostrate. We put our
forehead, our nose on the ground. And we stay there for as long as we need to, until we get up and
we do it over and over and over again every single day.

00:25:00 --> 00:25:15
			So we are humbling ourselves, humiliating ourselves for Allah. This is our servitude to Allah,
showing that we are slaves of Allah. And that's why when you're in this position, which is the
lowest part that you can be, you can't be any lower than your head on the ground.

00:25:16 --> 00:25:39
			That's the place when you're closest to Allah. Now, when you're standing in the prayer, now, when
you're bowing in the prayer, when you're sitting down in the prayer, when your head's on the ground,
that's when Allah knows that you are close to him. And that's when Allah responds to your door. And
so a person humbles themselves, we humble ourselves, we humiliate ourselves in front of Allah
subhanho wa Taala.

00:25:41 --> 00:26:17
			One of the questions that sometimes people have is why do we need to pray? No. So what if we miss a
prayer so what if we don't pray today's only one day is only one prayer. And chef was saying that
basically everything that we have is a blessing from Allah, the fact that you're living your
breathing, you live in a secure environment, you have your family around you, you have money, you
have good health, you have time, all of this is a blessing from Allah, and then return Allah
zildjian only once a few things. He only wants that you worship Him alone, that you pray your
prayers that you fast one month, a year, that you give us the care that you make Hajj, only small

00:26:17 --> 00:26:57
			things in return for all of the blessings that you enjoy. And all you need to do is go to a hospital
to see how many people are sick or injured switch on your TV to see what's going on in Somalia, and
in other parts of the world where people are dying, because they can't even find a morsel of food,
not even a drop of water. And all of the blessings that we have that Allah has given us everything
that we have around us all of these blessings from Allah Isn't it just then right that we just pray
to Allah subhanaw taala doesn't allow deserve more than this? So if you can't even pray to Allah
then do we really deserve all of the blessings that Allah has given us? Okay, so hopefully you guys

00:26:57 --> 00:27:06
			have got lifewater answers so let's just quickly go through them who what was the importance of the
prayer? Why is the price important Islam Who can tell me

00:27:09 --> 00:27:11
			what do you guys do for 15 minutes

00:27:14 --> 00:27:17
			Okay, it's an obligation in Islam okay. And renounce

00:27:19 --> 00:27:20
			a pillar of Islam okay

00:27:23 --> 00:27:24
			so direct command of Allah

00:27:28 --> 00:27:30
			guides people okay

00:27:31 --> 00:27:36
			doing good deeds are about the back because at the back I think that can't see

00:27:39 --> 00:27:39
			anyone

00:27:42 --> 00:27:43
			show pick someone

00:27:49 --> 00:27:50
			brings you closer to Allah

00:27:51 --> 00:27:51
			Ali

00:27:57 --> 00:28:00
			Okay, so on the day of just remember to sit on your behalf very good.

00:28:01 --> 00:28:02
			The baseball cap

00:28:08 --> 00:28:11
			Okay, you should pray as if it's your last prep because you don't know if you'll get another one.

00:28:15 --> 00:28:16
			Yeah, I already said that.

00:28:21 --> 00:28:21
			Sorry.

00:28:23 --> 00:28:25
			Okay, it's mentioned many times in the Quran.

00:28:27 --> 00:28:28
			Anyone else?

00:28:30 --> 00:28:32
			They want to sleep Yeah, so sunbathing.

00:28:35 --> 00:28:37
			Or like to say thank you for

00:28:39 --> 00:28:42
			Okay, so pray is gratitude to Allah.

00:28:43 --> 00:28:48
			Okay, so let's go through the demonic on this slide as well. So you can write down any of the points
that you missed out.

00:28:49 --> 00:29:17
			Okay, number one, it's a direct link between slaves and his Lord. So we said that when a person is
praying, it's as if they're directly speaking to Allah subhanaw taala. So only in other religions,
you know, people have to go through a priest or the pope or someone else in order to speak to Allah
because they don't feel that they can do it directly. Whereas in Islam, we can do this directly. We
don't need an Imam to speak on our behalf. We don't need the scholar speaker on behalf for our
parents. Every single person can speak to Allah directly by praying.

00:29:19 --> 00:29:58
			Number two is to direct spoken order. So that means that Allah himself told the prophets are seldom
to make it obligatory to pray. So everything else was revealed in the Quran, through the prophet
through Allah Subhana Allah revealed in the Quran, but the prayer Allah spoke directly to the
prophet of Solomon said that the prayer is obligatory. So that shows the importance of the prayer.
Number three, it was obligated on Israel Mirage, we already mentioned that. Number four, the reward
of praying. So for example, praying congregation is 27 times better than praying on your own. And we
know that our normal priamo one of the most virtuous acts that a person can perform is praying and

00:29:58 --> 00:29:59
			even those people, Muslims that go

00:30:00 --> 00:30:38
			into the fire of * May Allah save us from that some of the Muslims because of their sins, they
will go into how fire and the way that they will be taken out, the way they'll be recognized that
they will Muslims is because of their marks of frustration on their head. So when you make such that
over and over again, there'll be a mark on your forehead. And when people are in the fire Muslims
that go into the fire, when Allah tells them to come out, how will they know who's a Muslim and
who's not a Muslim, they'll look at these places, the places of your prostration the places of
booboo where you used to make widow because those places will be whiter and brighter than all of the

00:30:38 --> 00:30:52
			other parts of the body. So that's how people are going to be recognized the widow. And the prayer
now shows the importance of praying if a person doesn't pray, they've never prayed. How will the
person be recognized? How will they be taken out from the fire of how

00:30:53 --> 00:30:55
			recognition is the next one?

00:30:57 --> 00:31:00
			most beloved to Allah subhanho wa Taala

00:31:01 --> 00:31:31
			the angels are praying all the time. So the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said that in the
heavens, there's not a hand span of space, so not even this much space, except that there's an angel
praying on it. Imagine praying every single hand span as big as your hand is, every single part of
the heavens. That is this big is full of angels. Every single one of those angels is praying, some
are standing, some are bowing, some are prostrating all of them are praying to Allah subhanho wa
Taala

00:31:33 --> 00:32:00
			that's when you're closest to Allah. So when you're praying, this is the time when you're closest to
Allah subhanho wa Taala. Praying until feet would swell so the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam
would pray so much, that his feet would swell they'd become big. Why? Because of how much he would
stand and pray. And the prophets also lamb was forgiven for all of his sins. He didn't have any
sense. He didn't have any mistakes. But even so he would pray to such an extent. So we're about me
and you.

00:32:01 --> 00:32:06
			It was the final advice like we said before the process of Solomon died was one of the final things
that he said.

00:32:07 --> 00:32:47
			He put protects from filthy and evil deeds as Allah mentions in the Quran. So one of the ways that
you stay away from sin is by praying to Allah. So the more that you pray to Allah, the more that
Allah will protect you, and he'll safeguard you from sins. Prayer is a man as a prophet sallallahu
Sallam said that it is a part of Eman, your, your face in Allah. Prayer is bathing. How is a
bathing? The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said that if you were living by a stream, imagine
you're living by a river or a stream. And five times a day, you go and you take a swim. You take a
bath in that river, would you be dirty after that? Or do you have any dirt left? How many times do

00:32:47 --> 00:33:12
			you guys take a shower or a bath? once a day, once a week, once a month? Right? Imagine doing a five
times a day is no one that takes a bath five times a day. how clean you'd be the cleanest person
ever. If you took a bath five times a day, that's what the prayer does. When you pray to Allah five
times a day, all of your sins are removed. And so what sin would you have left if you prayed so
much. It's like taking a bath five times a day.

00:33:13 --> 00:33:25
			soundness of prayer follows on to other deeds. So the way that you pray, the way that you conduct
yourself in your prayer, if your prayer is good, that all of the other deeds that you perform, all
of your other good actions will inshallah also be good.

00:33:27 --> 00:33:56
			And there is unity. This is the time when all of the Muslims come together, they united, they stand
next to each other and they pray. So when you're normally praying the person next to you on either
side, you don't even know them. You don't know the name. You don't know where they came from, you
don't know who they are. All you know is that they're Muslims. And they're praying like you're
praying. And so that's something which unites the Muslims is something which brings us closer
together. And there are many other points, but that's all we're going to go through. So those are
the important points of prayer.

00:33:58 --> 00:33:59
			Any questions over?

00:34:01 --> 00:34:05
			Good, okay. Benefits of prayer. What's so beneficial about prayer?

00:34:07 --> 00:34:08
			Anyone know?

00:34:09 --> 00:34:11
			What are the benefits of praying?

00:34:13 --> 00:34:17
			Okay, so you get praise from Allah subhanho dialer. And what else?

00:34:19 --> 00:34:19
			Sorry,

00:34:21 --> 00:34:23
			Your sins are removed. Yeah.

00:34:25 --> 00:34:29
			It is self discipline. So you're training yourself to worship Allah.

00:34:31 --> 00:34:35
			You get the reward, the reward of 50 praise for one prayer, you get 10 prayers, yeah.

00:34:36 --> 00:34:37
			And renounce.

00:34:40 --> 00:34:41
			Let's go through them.

00:34:42 --> 00:34:58
			Number one is peace and serenity. So when a person prays, they feel peace in their soul and in the
heart. And that's why when the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, when he was sad, or when
something was wrong in the community, or when he had problems that he was facing, what would he do

00:34:59 --> 00:35:00
			but to go on

00:35:00 --> 00:35:36
			This PlayStation, what would the processor limb do? Would you go and chill out with his friends?
Would he go and eat out? What would he do? He would pray. And he would say to Bilal anishnabe, Sana,
let us take peace from the prayer. And so that's showing how a person is close to Allah, that when
you're sad, normally when a person's psychological problems, you talk to someone, right? You go and
speak to someone, you speak to your dad, your mom, your brother, your sister, someone that you're
close to, or your friend, you go and speak to them say, I got this problem. My exams too hot,
something's wrong. And so you go and speak to someone. The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was

00:35:36 --> 00:35:41
			so close to Allah is a man was so strong, that he would go to Allah.

00:35:42 --> 00:36:20
			And that's what we have to achieve. Well, that's what we want to be. So when we have problems, we
don't need to go to our parents, or our family members. Yes, we talked to them as well. But our
first port of call the person that we go, what we do, first and foremost, is we go back to Allah.
And so that's what the props of Solomon do. So it gives person a peace and peace and serenity in
their heart. Number two, it is the cause of success. So the way that you're successful in this life
and in the next life, is by keeping up your prayers. If you miss your prayers, or if you don't pray,
or if you abandon the prayer, or if you're one of those people that prays right and like you keep

00:36:20 --> 00:36:39
			delaying the prayers, then you will be punished for this. Allah will hold you to account for this.
And so when a person is praying, and praying on time, and then praying well, then Allah azza wa jal
will give them success in this life and the next, answering of duels. So like we said, when a person
is praying the instance that they make,

00:36:40 --> 00:36:59
			and when you make dua, Allah will accept you are in that place. So person that like the Prophet
sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said that if a person makes Voodoo properly, and then they pray to rock
as knuffel, is to option Rockers, and then they make dua to Allah, that Oh Allah, forgive me for all
of my sins, Allah will forgive them all.

00:37:00 --> 00:37:11
			It won't take you more than five minutes to do that, to make although to pray to, God will take you
five minutes. And so just by doing that, and making the right to Allah, all of your sins will be
forgiven

00:37:12 --> 00:37:51
			is provisioned from Allah subhanho wa Taala. So allow will increase you in your money increase you
in your provision. If you have financial difficulties, maybe your family's not very well off. Maybe
if you start working and you haven't got a good job, you don't have a lot of money. One of the ways
that you increase your blessing, that increased money that you increase your provision, and also how
blessing How blessed your money is as well is by praying to Allah Subhana Allah, so Allah puts
Baraka in your mouth. It is safety from the fire. So one of the people one of the things that will
intercede for you on your multi Yama will be the prayer, it will protect you from the fire, it will

00:37:51 --> 00:38:29
			safeguard you and shield you from the fire. And that's obviously one of the greatest benefits of
that. And finally, it is a sign of Eman. It is a sign of your faith and your belief in Allah that
you pray. Okay. And it's also a very good way of encouraging other people to come to Islam. When
people see that you're that discipline. No matter where you are, what you're doing, you will pray
five times a day, your other Muslim friends, even the non Muslim friends, even people in society,
there is See you, being that discipline will respect and admire you. Even if they don't agree with
you. They don't pray themselves. They don't like Islam, they will respect your discipline. No matter

00:38:29 --> 00:39:03
			where you are, this is what you do. And so Islam teaches us to be disciplined as well. Okay, moving
on. abandoning the prayer. This is an important issue. abandoning the prayer is basically referring
to anyone that doesn't pray for whatever reason. Right? So any Muslim that doesn't pray is
abandoning the prayer. What happens if you abandon the prayer? If someone gives up the prayer, being
ignorant of its obligation, then he is forgiven in general. So for example, just imagine today
someone becomes a Muslim.

00:39:04 --> 00:39:37
			Right? Someone just became a Muslim today. And it's time for the heart in a couple of hours. They
didn't pray. He said to them, why didn't you pray, they're like, I didn't know. I just became almost
a manual, you had to pray five times a day. And so that person is forgiven because they've been
removed. But the vast majority of us know that we have to pray. So we don't fall under category
number one, that's only for people that are new Muslims or something like that, right? Someone
that's a new Muslim, or maybe if someone's a young child, like someone's very young, and they still
don't know, because they're too young to understand the prayer. People like that are forgiven,

00:39:38 --> 00:40:00
			because they don't know. But everyone else, the vast majority of us, all of us sitting here, we know
that we need to pray, so we don't fall under category number one. Number two, if someone believes
that it is not obligatory, without having that excuse of ignorance, then it is disbelief. So that
person isn't a Muslim. A person who says For example, I don't

00:40:00 --> 00:40:40
			need to pray the prayer isn't obligatory of me. Or he says, For example, there is no such thing as
prayer. I don't need to pray over example, he says, I don't need to pray five times a day, I'll pray
once a day. That's all I have to do. Anything like this takes a person outside of Islam, it is
disbelief, because we know in our religion, that there are five prayers every single day. And if you
reject that, you say that's wrong, then you're saying that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam
was wrong, and that Allah was wrong. And that is disbelief that is saying that you're not a Muslim.
And so all of us have to believe that it is obligatory upon us. If a person doesn't pray, because

00:40:40 --> 00:41:16
			they're lazy, that's something else. But they know that they have to pray. They know that they
should be praying, but they're doing wrong. Pray for someone, someone rejects the prayer outright
says it's not even part of my religion, I don't have to do it, I don't believe in it, then they are
automatically a non Muslim, and all of the Muslim scholars agree on this. There is no difference of
opinion. If someone does so because of laziness, or without a valid reason, playing PlayStation or
hanging out with friends, etc. Then the scholars differ. So someone knows that they have to pray.
They know that they should be praying, but they're just lazy. Like many Muslims, right? They know

00:41:16 --> 00:41:52
			they have to pray, but they just can't be bothered. Or maybe they don't play because they don't pray
because they're busy. They're at work, they're at school, or maybe they want to go and hang out with
their friends or they're watching TV. They're playing the PlayStation, so they won't pray. They know
that they should be praying. They know that if they don't pray, they're sinful. But they still don't
pray. So this person is in a very difficult situation. They're in a very, they're like, like the the
tiptoeing right there on the edge of a building, and they're about to fall. And so they need to be
careful. Every single person should be praying. And if a person doesn't pray, then they should

00:41:52 --> 00:42:30
			repent to Allah, they should ask Allah for forgiveness, and they should stop praying, but to not
pray, to leave the prayer to be lazy about the prayer is from the greatest sins in Islam from one of
the major sins of Islam. And it is something which leads you very close to being a non Muslim. The
Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said that the difference between us and the non Muslims is the
prayer. That's the major difference right after believing in only a lot that only one God has to be
worshipped. The other major difference between us and our Muslims is the prayer, the way we pray,
and the way they pray. And so it is something which is very important.

00:42:32 --> 00:43:05
			Lots of panel data set in the Quran, so if they repent and establish the prayer and pay this
occurred, then they are your brothers in the religion. So how does a person become a Muslim? They
say la ilaha illAllah Muhammad Rasul Allah, they start to pray, and they give this occur. If they do
that, then now they're Muslims. So it's not just you say la ilaha illa Allah like many of us do. Lai
Lai, La La Mohammed Rasul Allah, then we've never ever prayed or we pray only eat, or maybe we will
pray Juma prayer, or we pray maybe in Ramadan, and that's it. That is the Islam. Islam is praying
five times a day.

00:43:06 --> 00:43:27
			Verily between a man and shulchan Cofer is the band of the prayer. This is a Hadith of the prophets
of Salaam that I just mentioned to you that the difference between us and our Muslims is the prayer.
The covenant that is between us and them is the prayers whoever leaves it has disbelieved. So in
this Hadith, the prophet SAW Selim is saying it outright, that if the person doesn't pray, they
reject the prayer, then they are non Muslims.

00:43:29 --> 00:43:35
			Do not leave the prayer intentionally for he will leave the intention he has removed himself from
the production of Allah and His messenger.

00:43:37 --> 00:43:54
			And the companions are the Allahu Allah whom they agreed that this is disbelief. So the companions
would say that if a person doesn't pray, if we don't see him in the machine praying, then we didn't
think that that person was a Muslim. Just because we didn't see him in the masjid because it was
unheard of the companions came, and they prayed together.

00:43:57 --> 00:44:33
			Okay, there's something that I want to mention to you. That's very important. Just because we said
that a person that doesn't pray is in a difficult position, maybe he's the disbeliever, maybe
they're not Muslims. That doesn't mean that you go around now calling people non Muslims. If you
have a member of your family of friends that you know, that doesn't pray, you don't say to them,
you're not a Muslim. That's a very dangerous thing to call a person, a non Muslim is very dangerous.
The prophets on a long way He will send them said that if you say to someone that you are not a
Muslim, then either he isn't a Muslim, or you're not a Muslim, one of the two of you will become a

00:44:33 --> 00:44:59
			non Muslim, just by saying that. So if it's true, what you're saying, then he'll be the non Muslim.
But if he said it, and you want to show that it's not true, then you'll be in the non Muslim. So
it's something which is very serious. So just because we know that a person that doesn't pray, isn't
a Muslim, it doesn't mean that we go and apply that to people. That's something which the scholars
do, it's something which the people have knowledge to, but rather what do we do if we see someone
that doesn't pray?

00:45:00 --> 00:45:33
			Or maybe our family members on praying. We encourage them to pray. Message they're missing. You know
that prayer is part of Islam. You need to pray. And maybe we help them pray. Tell them to pray with
you. Tell them for example, pray start with one prayer a day and work your way up. Tell them to seek
forgiveness from Allah subhanho wa Taala. But don't ever go to someone and say to them that you're
not a Muslim, no matter what they do, if they say la ilaha illAllah Muhammad Rasul Allah, they are
Muslims. And it's not your job to go and save someone your own state or your narrow Muslim. Leave
that for other people to do.

00:45:34 --> 00:46:16
			Okay, so we have another exercise. Now we're going to go back into our groups. And this is what I
want you to think about. Abdullah and Yusuf are 18 years old, and they meet for the first time at a
conference in Greenland Masjid, they get talking about the prayer, Abdullah says that he normally
manages to pray his five daily prayers, although sometimes he misses for john, as it's so early in
the summer, use of cells that he prays on average, two times a day, not five, but two times a day,
as he's too busy with his studies with hanging out with friends, and he doesn't have time to pray
all of the prayers. He does have, however, pray his Juma prayer every week. Abdullah is shocked by

00:46:16 --> 00:46:40
			this, well, how can use of only pray two times a day and not pray five times a day? So what I want
you to do is go back into groups. And if you were Abdullah, how would you advise us to start
praying? What would you say to him, that would encourage him to start praying all of his prayers. So
if you can go back into groups, so number 1234, whichever one you're in, and you have about five,
five minutes? So

00:46:43 --> 00:46:45
			what would you say to us?

00:46:51 --> 00:47:05
			Time management, okay, so basically needs to manage this time bearer. So it doesn't mean prayer
doesn't mean that you can't play with your friends, it doesn't mean that you can't do anything else.
All it means is that you've got to manage your time. So when you're playing with your friends, you
take a break for 10 minutes to go and pray and then you come back and you carry on.

00:47:08 --> 00:47:08
			Sorry.

00:47:10 --> 00:47:32
			Okay, so nothing you say to me say you will get more reward. Right? So for example, if a person was
working, and they were told, if you work for another hour, we'll give you 100 pounds, who wouldn't
do that? Might you go and you want more money, so you get more reward. Likewise, with the prayer
just by praying that one prayer which won't take you more than five to 10 minutes, you're getting
more reward. And allow will love you more.

00:47:35 --> 00:47:49
			Tell him about the punishments of non praying. So one of the punishments is that a person that has a
brain may be punished in the fire of *, they'll be punished in their grave, maybe that person
will even leave Islam, if they're not careful. They need to be careful, it's a dangerous situation.

00:47:54 --> 00:48:20
			Okay, encourage people to pray with you. That's a good way of doing so if you're playing with your
friends. And you know, they don't pray. When the time of prayer comes. Don't just don't pray with
them, or go off by yourself and tell them about prayer. Tell them to pray together. Let's take a
break. And everyone pray together. Let's pray in congregation. And that way you're encouraging them,
but you will also get the reward. So for all of their prayers, you get the reward as well, because
you're the one that encouraged them. Morales guys at the back, McKinsey.

00:48:32 --> 00:48:33
			You have to speak up.

00:48:41 --> 00:48:41
			Anything

00:48:44 --> 00:48:47
			under here, the third shot, I'm old.

00:48:51 --> 00:49:02
			Okay, so forming each other. Right? So if it's time for Fisher or Asia, why not call one another?
Right? Make a club, your friends you call one another? Make sure they're awake. That's a good point.
And allowance.

00:49:05 --> 00:49:05
			You

00:49:12 --> 00:49:15
			already said what you're going to say. That's good. Okay. And what else

00:49:18 --> 00:49:24
			make to make to offer your friends and your family that Allah helps them to pray. Okay, excellent.

00:49:26 --> 00:49:46
			The next thing that we're going to speak about is delaying the prayer. So the first thing that we
spoke about was abandoning the prayer abandoning means that a person doesn't pray at all. Delaying
means the person prays, but they pray very late. They pray after the time finishes. So forget a
little prayer for your time they pray when they wake up after the sun has risen, and so on. That's
what delaying the prayer means.

00:49:47 --> 00:49:59
			It is not permissible to lay the prayer beyond its specified time by consensus of the scholars. So
in Islam, there's two things number one, you have to pray. You can't abandon the prayer. You can't
leave the prayer and number two,

00:50:00 --> 00:50:41
			You can't delay the prayer. So every prayer has a time. My Everyone knows that. You look at your
timetable, there's a time for the prayers. You have to pray in those times. So you can pray further
at night, prayer in the morning, you have to pray each prayer at its own time. And you can't delay
the prayer outside of that time. If you do your sinful, you still have to pray. So even if you wake
up at nine o'clock and you're finished at six, you still have to pray. But you're not sinful. You're
sinful, because you delayed the prayer beyond its time. Allah subhanho wa Taala says in the Salah to
cannot earn more money, Nikita Mota, the prayer is enjoined upon the believers at appointed times.

00:50:41 --> 00:50:49
			So you can pray all five prayers at once in the morning, or five prayers at once in the evening. You
have to pray every prayer at its own time.

00:50:51 --> 00:51:12
			Unlike was the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, Truly it is not sleep, that is the neglect.
Rather the neglect is that a person does not perform the prayer until the time for the next prayer
enters. So that's what it means to be forgetful in Islam, that you leave your prayer off until the
time of the next prayer comes and you don't pray at a proper time.

00:51:13 --> 00:51:54
			Some of the scholars said that it's such a big sin, that if you delay the prayer, and the time of
the prayer finishes, even though you still have to pray, Allah won't accept it for me. So you still
have to pray. But you won't get any reward for that prayer. Because you delayed it after it's time.
And so it's an important thing when the time of prayer comes, you have to pray within that time as
well. Otherwise, it is a sin in the sight of Allah subhanho wa Taala unless you have a valid excuse,
right? So Islam is a religion of mercy. And Islam knows that sometimes it's difficult for a person
to pray at the proper time, for one reason or another. So if there is a valid excuse, then it's

00:51:54 --> 00:52:30
			allowed. What are those valid excuses, for example, a person that's sick, or a person that's
traveling, they can combine the prayers or change the times of the prayer, because if a person is
sick, it's difficult for them, maybe to get up and pray five times a day, if they're really sick,
right, not just like a small headache, right? Probably sick is difficult for them. Or if they're
traveling, and they're on an airplane, and they've traveling like for seven, eight hours, it's
difficult for them to pray. And so now that's a valid excuse. So now you can delay or change the
timings of the prayer. A person who's asleep. So if a person for example, genuinely doesn't wake up,

00:52:31 --> 00:53:07
			over example, they they're sitting at home and they fall asleep, to sit on the couch, and then they
missed the time on the prayer, that person is forgiven, so long as they tried their best everything
in their power. So they put the alarm on, they ask someone else to wake them up. So if you put your
alarm on in the morning, and you still overslept, then it's okay. But if you don't even put your
alarm on, you don't even try to wake up professional, then it is a sin. So you have to do everything
that you can in your ability. But then even if after all of that you still sleep you're a heavy
sleeper you didn't make up or maybe the day you were extra tired, then inshallah you will be okay.

00:53:08 --> 00:53:39
			And likewise a person who's forgotten. So maybe someone's really busy that day, they didn't even
notice the time so the time of Muslims come in and they're so busy, obviously like working or doing
something Hello right not watching TV, but doing something which is good and they're so busy that
they forget the time of the prayer, and then they look at the clock and they all handle all the time
is gone, and then they pray there inshallah will be okay. So if you have a valid excuse, you're
sleeping, you forgotten, you're traveling, you're sick, something like that, then it's okay.
Otherwise, it is a sin in the sight of Allah subhanho wa Taala.

00:53:40 --> 00:53:46
			Okay, we have another exercise. I think we're going to do that one here. She was just doing okay. So

00:53:48 --> 00:53:56
			the exercise is basically something else that you need to think about Ahmed wakes up in a state of
Geneva, major impurity, does anyone know what janatha is?

00:53:59 --> 00:54:43
			When you have a *, for example, or if someone was married, and they had relations with their
wife, basically, if a person if a sticky fluid comes out of your private parts that is known as
Genova, and that means that basically you're not allowed to pray in that state until what you do.
You take a bath, you may wholesome, and then you're allowed to pray. So otherwise, you're not
allowed to pray. Okay. So Ahmed wakes up in the state of Geneva at 4:58am and he knows that he has
to take a shower. Sunrise, basically the time that fudger finishes is at five o'clock to is
basically got two minutes, right. Achmed knows that if he takes a shower, he won't be able to pray

00:54:43 --> 00:54:55
			for jewel in time, because he can't take the shower in two minutes. So what should he do? Let's see
prefetcher on time and doesn't take a shower. Or does he take the shower and pray fudger after the
time finishes?

00:54:57 --> 00:54:57
			What does he do?

00:55:01 --> 00:55:03
			Okay, takes a shower. Who else

00:55:05 --> 00:55:12
			takes a shower? Who says takes a shower? Raise your hands okay who says he just praise the time is
more important

00:55:17 --> 00:55:21
			Okay, so you saying pray right? Don't take a shower and also agree with

00:55:23 --> 00:55:30
			you on your own one against everyone okay? So what does a person do? Why does he take a shower?

00:55:31 --> 00:55:34
			Why not pray because the time is when he finishes got two minutes.

00:55:39 --> 00:55:45
			Okay, so you can't pray because you're in a state of impurity and contrary to Allah, in a state of
impurity, you need to be clean and renounce.

00:55:48 --> 00:55:50
			The prayer won't count. Okay, in rounds.

00:55:52 --> 00:55:54
			What is Voodoo?

00:55:58 --> 00:56:05
			In terms of the prayer is something that you have to have or you don't have to have. You have to
have right. What else do you need to have?

00:56:07 --> 00:56:08
			intention Morales

00:56:11 --> 00:56:13
			clean clothes worlds.

00:56:16 --> 00:56:19
			The place has to be clean that you're praying in as well. What else?

00:56:26 --> 00:56:26
			Okay.

00:56:29 --> 00:56:45
			face the problem. What else? Yeah, you have to pray in the proper time. Right? So all of these
things have to be there before you can pray. Now the problem is here that you have to make a choice
because there's not much time left. And you have to take a shower as well. So what do you do? Here's
the answer.

00:56:47 --> 00:57:06
			Some scholars say, if you're doing something which leads to prayer, then you're okay. So if you wake
up, like two minutes before, and now you're not wasting time, not just sitting there in bed
thinking, What do I do, right? But you're actually going and you're making a shower. Because it's
connected to the prayer, it's something which you have to do in order to pray, then you okay?

00:57:07 --> 00:57:43
			Because without it, you can't pray. So because you busying yourself in something which leads up to
the prayer, then it's okay. Whereas if we just sat in bed, lie down for about a go and went and had
a snack, maybe had something to eat had a drink, then now you'd be sinful. But if you're busying
yourself with taking a shower, because you know, you need to pray, then you're okay. Other scholars
say no, you can't delay it out of the time, you have to pray straight away. You have to pray
straight away, like what the Buddha was saying, you have to pray straight away, and you don't do
anything else. You just pray in whatever state that you're in.

00:57:46 --> 00:58:21
			Even taymiyah said time is given preference, except for one who was a staple had forgotten as their
time begins when they wake up or remember. So basically, what you do is that you busy yourself with
the prayer. So if, for example, you wake up in the morning, and you find yourself that you need to
take a shower, then you go and take a shower, even if the time is going to expire. You go and you
take a shower, you busy yourself with the prayer, right? Like for example, if someone was for
example, just say you went out camping, right? And again, you woke up and there's only two minutes
left. And you don't know where the Qibla is, you don't know which way to pray. You don't know what

00:58:21 --> 00:58:46
			the direction is. If you're busy trying to find the direction and you can find it within that two
minutes. That's what you do. You find the direction of the Qibla and then you pray. So you busy
yourself with something which is connected to the prayer and then inshallah It's okay. Likewise, if
you're asleep and forgotten, like you said before, that's a valid excuse anyway. So if you were
sleep, you overslept or you forgot or something, then inshallah you're okay as long.

00:58:48 --> 00:59:25
			What are the preconditions of the prayer we just kind of mentioned this very quickly, so we'll go
over it again. Number one is that you're free from impurity. So that means for example, that you
have to make Udo you have to make awesome. So if someone goes to the bathroom, if someone for
example, has a *, like you said, if someone, for example, has clothes, which are there to
anything like that, they need to free themselves from impurity, they have to clean themselves. The
professor Sallam said, there is no prayer for the one who is impure until he makes will do. Okay, so
you can't pray until you make will do. Number two, the prayer time. So you can't pray until the time

00:59:25 --> 00:59:42
			begins. You can just pray ratio now. I like 12 o'clock, because it's not a time. You have to wait
till the time starts until you pray. And that's why we have timetables and we look at the times of
prayer. covering of the hour. Does anyone know what the arise? What's the hour.

00:59:44 --> 00:59:45
			What is the hour is right.

00:59:48 --> 01:00:00
			The hour is the part of the body that you always have to cover. You can't show it to anyone else can
show to your friends. You can show to your brothers and your sisters. You can show it to anyone.
It's your private area. It's from your

01:00:00 --> 01:00:40
			Belly Button your navel to your knees. This always has to be covered in public, right. So whether
you're swimming, whether you're playing sports, wherever you're doing your navel to your knee must
always be covered, it must always be covered, this is the hour. So when you pray, you have to pray
with the our cover. If you're playing in shorts is not accepted. Right, you have to play with our
covered. Also one of the other things that you have to do is you have to cover your shoulders. So
your shoulders also have to be covered, your aura has to be covered, and your shoulders have to be
covered in order for your prayer to be accepted. So if you were wearing for example, something which

01:00:40 --> 01:00:59
			covered your navel to your to knees, and then you had a cloak on top, covering the shoulders, then
you could pray. Okay, so you have to cover these parts of the body. And this is out of respect to
Allah, you don't go and pray in front of Allah naked, right? I will respect and humility to allow
you to cover yourself appropriately.

01:01:01 --> 01:01:24
			purity of body clothes and place of prayer. So it's not only that you have to make will do for
yourself, your clothes have to also be pure. So if your clothes are dirty, they have some majestic
impurity on it, you have to clean them. Likewise, where you're praying, if you're praying in a place
that's outside open area, make sure that you're praying in a clean and open place. Number five, you
have to face the Qibla.

01:01:26 --> 01:02:01
			So you obviously have to face the direction of Makkah, wherever you are, you have to face matter. So
the criminal obviously, in the machine is that way, if you prayed that way, or that way, or that
way, your prayers are accepted, you have to face the problem. And number six, finally, is the
intention. And we're going to speak about the intention a little later on. But for every pray you
have to have the intention in your heart, that you're praying to Allah subhanho wa Taala and you're
praying this prayer. Okay, and inshallah we'll discuss that later on. Okay. Okay, so the last thing
that we did before the break was how to make Moodle. Right? And I was going around like, everyone's

01:02:01 --> 01:02:11
			like, looks like everyone's got their own way to make wudu. Everyone's got their own style, right?
So we're just going to quickly go over how to make wudu properly. Okay, what's the first thing that
you do?

01:02:14 --> 01:02:24
			The first thing that you do is you have an intention in your heart, you have to say anything, but
you have an intention in your heart, right? That you're going to make or do for the sake of Allah
subhanaw taala. What's the second thing

01:02:25 --> 01:02:37
			that you say? Bismillah. Right, you say Bismillah. Then after that, number three is, you start by
washing your hands, right? Where does the hand go up to

01:02:39 --> 01:02:57
			the wrist, right, so you wash both hands right and left to the wrist. And it's the sooner also to
watch in between the fingers, right? Because normally you watch like that, and water doesn't get in
between the fingers, make sure that you wash in between the fingers, as well. So you wash your hands
three times what you do after that.

01:03:02 --> 01:03:06
			You put water into your mouth and your nose, how do you put water into your mouth and your nose,

01:03:08 --> 01:03:10
			you get water into your right palm

01:03:11 --> 01:03:50
			and you drink from it and you pour it into your nose all at the same time. So some of the water will
go into your mouth, part of it will go into your nose. So you do it once right, when you put the
water into your mouth, then it is also the sooner to gargle if you can to make sure that the water
reaches everywhere in your mouth. So don't just put in your mouth and spit it out. Make sure that
the water moves around your mouth goes towards the back of the mouth, then spit it out. Right for
the nose it is the sooner to blow the water up and to blow it out again, to make sure that again the
water goes up into your nose and out properly. How many times you do that three times or three times

01:03:50 --> 01:03:57
			you take the water, pour into your mouth and nose, spit it out, blow it out of your nose and do it
three times. Then after that.

01:03:58 --> 01:03:59
			What do you do next?

01:04:01 --> 01:04:03
			You wash your face, what's the face?

01:04:04 --> 01:04:12
			Where do you wash up to when you're washing your face so some people they were just doing this right
like covering the eyes right? And that was the washing the face How do you wash your face

01:04:15 --> 01:04:50
			so basically from the top of your forehead, to the bottom of your chin and to the sides of your
ears. So all of this is your face. So when you wash you make sure that water reaches everyone. So a
lot of a lot of you your water wasn't reaching anywhere near you is so you will do is not correct is
incomplete. You have to make sure that all of it is washed how many times you do that three times,
for those of you that are beards, like no one. But if you do have beards, then you wash your beard
as well make sure that the water goes into the beard as well. So you do that three times. After
that. What do you do?

01:04:53 --> 01:04:55
			You start with your right arm. Where do you go up to

01:04:57 --> 01:05:00
			the elbow that includes the elbow doesn't mean up to the elbow in

01:05:00 --> 01:05:21
			Including the elbow. So you wash and you include the elbow right? I saw some of you just getting
water, just wiping it. Now you're massaging yourself, right? You make sure you wash it, make sure
the water goes everywhere and including your elbow. When you do that, how many times three times and
then you do the left one, exactly the same three times including with our bow after that, what do
you do?

01:05:23 --> 01:05:32
			You do must you wipe over your head? How many times once some of you doing a three times you only do
it once? How do you do the mass?

01:05:33 --> 01:05:34
			Where do you start from?

01:05:35 --> 01:06:20
			You start from the tip of your hair and what you do, you go all the way back to the bottom, right
the back of your head and then all the way back forward. So you literally go back and forward once.
Okay, I know some of you are doing this and I change your hair styles and all sorts right? You
simply go back once and you come forward once that's all there is and then with the same water
that's already on your hands, you do your ears, how do you do your ears, you put your index finger
inside the ear, your thumb around at the back, and then you wipe in and out. you wipe in and out.
Okay, how many times you do the IRS once as well. So the hair and the IRS are done once where it is

01:06:20 --> 01:06:51
			simply wiping over them. You don't touch your neck you don't have to wipe your neck. You don't have
to do anything else it is simply the hair and the IRS. What do you do after that? What do you watch
your right foot right foot includes up to where the ankles are includes the ankle as well not up to
the ankle but including the ankle as well. I made sure that the water again goes in between your
toes just as it should go in between your fingers as well you do that how many times three times on
the right and then on the left and then what's the last thing that you do

01:06:53 --> 01:06:53
			you make the

01:06:54 --> 01:06:56
			right what's the drive does anyone on the driver don't?

01:06:59 --> 01:07:00
			No one knows.

01:07:06 --> 01:07:08
			Yeah, read someone read the draft.

01:07:11 --> 01:07:27
			So you say Allah Allah Allah Allah Allah Allah, Allah Allah, Allah, Allah condition. And then you
say Allah how much only minutter were mean when Gianni meenal Matata hearin right there is the Dwyer
that you read at the end. Okay. So that's how you basically make any questions

01:07:33 --> 01:08:13
			Okay, so what what to do with the socks that's a good question. If you make we'll do the first time
that you make will do when you wake up in the morning you have to wash your feet if after that you
put your socks on then for the rest of the day when you come to make widow you only wipe over the
socks once so you wipe over the right sub once and the left sub once only at the top of the sock so
you have to wipe underneath or around it just the top of the sock on the right and on the left. If
you take your socks off then you have a new break you will do you have to wash your feet again so
the socks can only be wiped over if you put them on once you already in widow and then you keep them

01:08:13 --> 01:08:32
			on for that day you don't take them off again once breaking you will do you just keep them on break
for example you put your socks on and you haven't made Moodle yet then when you come to make will do
you have to take them off again and make will do by washing your feet you can only wipe over your
socks once you've made the full Moodle washing your feet. Okay, and what else

01:08:38 --> 01:08:38
			sorry

01:08:41 --> 01:08:41
			yeah

01:08:46 --> 01:09:01
			okay if you put your socks on after you made the full model and then you take your socks off to shoe
break if you take your socks off and then you break we'll do this then it breaks briefly just take
your socks off for a bit and then put it back on the Michelle loads Okay, without breaking you will
do

01:09:03 --> 01:09:04
			in our house.

01:09:10 --> 01:09:16
			The dwelling Yes, you should really have to do so after you make will do you should make the door
that's what the processor told us to do.

01:09:21 --> 01:09:27
			No, so the sooner is to when you wipe off your head once not three times once right that's the sun

01:09:29 --> 01:09:32
			you know this was that you got to do

01:09:34 --> 01:09:35
			some more content.

01:09:38 --> 01:09:59
			It can be any type of sock. So any sock that we normally wear so long as it's not so thin that it
see through. Right so you get the really thin socks are like more or less see through. Those are
allowed to make much over many type of stuff like cotton, leather, polyester wool, they're all okay.
There's a Hadith of the processes that he made over cotton socks and woolen socks as well.

01:10:01 --> 01:10:02
			Moving on.

01:10:03 --> 01:10:39
			One of the things I want you to benefit from from this course is the importance of the prayer. And
so that video was basically about how important it is not only to pray, but to make sure that you
God and preserve all of your daily prayers, all of your five daily prayers. There's a few points
that we also want to mention to you. That's also quite important. Number one is the event and the
copper. These are things that are connected to the prayer. So normally in the masjid, when you're
praying in congregation, a person calls the event when it is the time of the prayer. So as soon as
the time of the prayer begins, whether it's fudger, the harasser maglia Berisha, a person calls the

01:10:39 --> 01:11:14
			oven. And that is the call to the prayers of the people know that the time has now set in. And
obviously, in the olden days, didn't have timetables, they didn't have watches and clocks, the only
time they knew that the prayer had begun, was because of the oven. And then you also have the farmer
the farmer is when the Imam stands and is ready to begin the prayer. Then the oven he calls the
karma to show the people now that the prayer is about to begin. So the event is to show that the
time has begun. The karma is to show that now the prayer itself is about to begin. Can you guys stop
talking over there?

01:11:16 --> 01:11:16
			Over there,

01:11:18 --> 01:11:18
			come to the front.

01:11:20 --> 01:11:22
			From the front, yeah.

01:11:23 --> 01:11:26
			Come sit at the front and the other guy in the hood. Can you turn around?

01:11:30 --> 01:11:30
			Okay.

01:11:31 --> 01:12:09
			So the event in the apartment is something which is very important. Number two, the etiquette of
walking to an entering into the masjid. When a person goes to the masjid. There's a certain
etiquette that we go in, right? We dress in a certain way we behave in a certain way. One of the
things that a person does is that they show humbleness and humility. They show humbleness, and they
show humility to Allah. So we don't walk in an arrogant way. We don't walk as if we're proud, but
boasting, we walk in a humble way to the masjid. Another thing that we do is that we don't rush to
the masjid. So it's not from the practice of the Muslims know when the time of prayer comes, we rush

01:12:09 --> 01:12:46
			brother, we take our time we walk in a calm way, doesn't mean that we delay and we walk slowly on
purpose, but you walk normally, you don't rush to the prayer, you dress in an appropriate way you
dress in clothes, that will be fitting when you come and stand in front of our last panel dialer.
You know, come in your old rip jeans, or your dirty clothes to the clothes that you just finished
playing football in your college dress in a nice way. Because now you're going to stand in front of
Allah, you use perfume, you perfume yourselves, so that you smell nice and pleasant. And so that
when you stand in front of Allah, you stand in a beautiful way. So all of these are etiquettes that

01:12:46 --> 01:13:14
			we need to have, right? Well, we need to understand that we're standing in front of a law now. And
when you stand in front of Allah, then you display respect, just as if in this life. If you are
going to stand in front of a king, or a prime minister, or someone important, a billionaire, you
dress in a certain way, you will act in a certain way. So what about Allah subhanho wa Taala?
Shouldn't we dress and behave in a respectful decent way in front of him? subhanho wa Taala.

01:13:15 --> 01:13:32
			Number three is pray in congregation. And for men. This is very important. Many of the scholars said
it is obligatory that a person prays in congregation and it's worth 25 or 27 times more. praying in
congregation is worth 25 or 27 times more.

01:13:35 --> 01:13:35
			Can you stand up?

01:13:39 --> 01:13:39
			So

01:13:41 --> 01:14:18
			okay, so pray in congregation is like worth 25 or 27 times more. So when a person prays together in
the masjid, there are many benefits and wisdoms attached to this. And this is something which we
need to do. We need to come to the masjid more often. Even if you can't come to every prayer come
once a week, come once a day, come as often as you can, so that you pray with your fellow brothers
and sisters. And number four is the intention. Remember, we mentioned this as one of the
preconditions of the prayer. The intention is in the heart. You don't have to say anything verbally.
So it's a mistake. When you're about to pray to say something on your tongue. To say here I am

01:14:18 --> 01:14:52
			allowed to pray. This is one, what the prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam did was he had the
intention in the prayer. So in your heart, sorry, he had the intention in the heart. So in your
heart, you know that you're going to pray and what you're going to pray, but you don't need to say
anything. And the intention is very important for two reasons. Number one sincerity, that when you
pray, you're only praying for Allah. You're not praying to show off to others. You're not praying so
that other people can see you. You're praying only for Allah subhanho wa Taala and number two, so
that you know what you're praying, you're conscious of what you're praying. So in your heart, you

01:14:52 --> 01:14:59
			know that it's a lot of prayer, or is fudger prayer, or it's also prayer, or I'm praying my novel,
or I'm praying travia or I'm praying witr prayer

01:15:00 --> 01:15:06
			Any prayer that you're praying so it is important to have the correct intention inshallah.

01:15:08 --> 01:15:17
			Okay, we're going to skip a couple of these now because we're short of time. Okay, whoa, what is
Herschel Does anyone know what the show is?

01:15:21 --> 01:15:23
			Okay, praying as if Allah is watching you.

01:15:25 --> 01:15:27
			routes. What's crucial

01:15:29 --> 01:15:31
			devotion. What else can you mean?

01:15:35 --> 01:15:36
			Sorry.

01:15:37 --> 01:15:38
			dedication

01:15:39 --> 01:15:39
			and Rouse.

01:15:42 --> 01:15:46
			Okay, do not fidget and stand properly and renounce.

01:15:47 --> 01:16:19
			So for sure is basically your state of mind the way you are when it comes to the prayer, you see,
because some people come and they pray like it's just a habit, right? The comments like oh, we have
to pray, you quickly pray a new goal. Some people pray, they're not even concentrating. They're
thinking about what's going to come on TV, what they're going to eat tonight, where they're going to
go tomorrow, whether the clothes look nice or not, then I've been concentrating in their prayer,
they're just standing there and they're performing the actions. Other people come to pray. They
don't even know what they're praying. They just come and they pray as as is the case and then they

01:16:19 --> 01:16:49
			go home. So whole show is to pray properly, to have dedication to have submissive submissiveness to
Allah subhanho wa Taala. To pray, as if it's your last prayer. Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam
would say, pray as if it is your last prayer. What would you do? If you knew that this prayer now
vor is coming up in one hour, that would be your last chance. After that, there's no other prayer,
you're going to die. It's the last prayer that you will ever pray. How would you pray that prayer?

01:16:51 --> 01:17:18
			How much time would you take praying? What effort would you go to to make sure that this one last
final prayer would be the best pray that you've ever prayed? And that is for sure to have that state
of mind in every prayer is for sure. So that's how you always think, because you don't know when
you're going to die, whether it's today or tomorrow or next week or next year on 100 years time, but
you don't know that's the point. And so every prayer you pray to the best of your ability, that is
for sure.

01:17:20 --> 01:17:22
			Allah subhanho wa Taala said all

01:17:23 --> 01:18:02
			the believers are successful. Who are these believers and levina Humphrey salata in Kashi rune,
those who have hersholt in their prayers, to be successful, to be a proper slave of Allah, you can't
just pray. You can't just pray in the proper time. But you have to have control of the prayer. And
that's why the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said that the only reward that you get from your
prayer is what you had offshore, and what you understood of the prayer. So if you pray for a cause,
and in the first rocker, you will concentrate in properly. And then for the other three, your mind
was elsewhere, you only get the reward of the first record. The other three, there's no reward for

01:18:02 --> 01:18:18
			you. If, for example, you paid the whole prayer, and you didn't even concentrate in any of it, you
were just doing the actions, you don't get any reward. You only get the reward of what you
concentrate in what you display, for sure. And, and that's something which we need to achieve.

01:18:19 --> 01:18:43
			So the state of OSU is to have intense concentration and attentiveness, presence of mind fear and Oh
avulla, which enables one to appreciate that now one is standing in front of Allah subhanho wa
Taala. There were scholars of the past, who they would be praying. And whilst they were praying the
roof foot for them, or the wall would collapse. And they wouldn't even notice they just carry on
praying.

01:18:44 --> 01:19:07
			They wouldn't even notice because that's how deep they were concentrating after the prayer people go
You crazy the walls about to fall down, the roof was going to fall in on your head, and you didn't
even move. And they will say I didn't even notice. I didn't I couldn't hear I couldn't tell that the
roof was falling down. This is how much they concentrated in their prayers, because it's their
connection to Allah subhanho wa Taala

01:19:08 --> 01:19:46
			even Rahim, Allah said, the whole show of true faith is when the heart fields aware and humble
before the greatness and glory of Allah and is filled with all fear and shyness, so that the heart
is utterly humbled before Allah unbroken, as it were, with fear, shyness, love, and the recognition
of the blessings of Allah and its own sins. Because when you come to pray, that's when shaytan comes
to you. Now that you're praying shavon will come and say, oh, remember where you put your last video
game. Remember where you lost your keys, or remember that you have to do this or think about this
and that that's the time shape on comes to make your mind busy with everything else. When you stop

01:19:46 --> 01:20:00
			praying, because he knows now that you're praying for Allah sake, so he wants to destroy the prayer.
He doesn't want you to have any reward. And so he'll come to you at this time or shoe is fighting
after his fighting shaytan and

01:20:00 --> 01:20:05
			shape and brings to your mind and concentrating only on the prayer not doing anything else.

01:20:07 --> 01:20:31
			Okay so we have a quick exercise for you again for the next five minutes I want you to go back into
groups. And now that you know what crucial is is concentration and attentiveness and dedication, I
want you to list the methods of how a person can develop this in their prayer. Okay, and once you've
done this list some points regarding how a person can also lose it in their prayer. So how you get
it and how you lose it so go back into groups the four chairs

01:20:34 --> 01:20:36
			so when it comes to show

01:20:38 --> 01:20:48
			when it comes to the show, the two things we're going to do right one how you get her show, and
number two, how you lose her show. So how do you get her show? Who can tell me how do you develop
crucial

01:20:51 --> 01:20:52
			Okay, concentrating

01:20:54 --> 01:20:55
			thinking of Allah

01:20:57 --> 01:21:00
			reciting in a beautiful voice being sincere

01:21:03 --> 01:21:05
			thing are the relationship and regime

01:21:07 --> 01:21:10
			knowing the meaning of what you're reciting knowing what you're saying.

01:21:12 --> 01:21:12
			Who else

01:21:14 --> 01:21:15
			Let me see

01:21:18 --> 01:21:18
			crossfade

01:21:24 --> 01:21:25
			Take your time.

01:21:32 --> 01:21:33
			Praying the five prayers

01:21:35 --> 01:21:39
			Oh, praying in a quiet place. Okay. praying in a quiet place. Yeah. And renounce.

01:21:40 --> 01:21:46
			Don't Okay. How do you lose crucial? So what what would you do if what happens and you lose for
sure.

01:21:48 --> 01:21:50
			Sorry. Looking around.

01:21:52 --> 01:21:52
			Scratching

01:21:54 --> 01:21:56
			is much destruction. Yeah.

01:21:57 --> 01:21:58
			Praying.

01:21:59 --> 01:22:00
			Praying late.

01:22:02 --> 01:22:03
			reading something.

01:22:05 --> 01:22:08
			Okay, like distracting yourself reading something as they should be reading.

01:22:09 --> 01:22:10
			fidgeting.

01:22:12 --> 01:22:20
			Toilets always go between everything between. Okay, make sure that you've been to the toilet if you
need to go. Okay. Ask him to sit up.

01:22:21 --> 01:22:24
			While you're lounging around for syrup. How old are you?

01:22:25 --> 01:22:40
			11 shaohua. Okay. So methods for developing pushover. Let's quickly go through them. Number one,
prepare perfectly. So make sure that you do will do properly. Make sure that when it comes to stand
for prayer, you know you're not in a hurry. You're not in a rush that you prepared yourself
properly.

01:22:41 --> 01:23:14
			Have a prayer at an early time. So again, you don't have to rush yourself. You pray at the beginning
time of the prayer. So as soon as Virgil comes in your prayer, budget time, lower also and likewise.
So on. clear your mind before the prayer. So make sure that you're not distracted with other things.
That's why the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said that if you're hungry, and food is
available, eat before you pray. So that in the pray in our thinking about dinner, right? You eat so
that then you pray and you're not distracted by anything else, you clear your mind. remind yourself
of the greatness of Allah, Who are you standing in front of, you're not just standing in front of no

01:23:14 --> 01:23:47
			one. You're not just showing off to other people. You're standing in front of Allah, your Lord and
your Creator. And he's the one that's going to judge you on your monthly ama. So you stand in front
of Allah, and you remember his greatness. You remember that this prayer could be your last prayer.
That's something which we mentioned before. Pray as if it's your last prayer. Play slowly and calmly
with sufficient pauses. Why is the role just like go up and down, up and down? epidemic is a race,
right? Pray Take your time. Pray calmly. Make sure when you do recall also god you're doing it
properly. You're doing it calmly and you're moving on properly.

01:23:48 --> 01:24:13
			Make dua to Allah. So ask Allah to give you a whole show. So in your prayer, in your search that
make to say one law, Grant me who show our law make me from the harsh hearing, make me from those
people who is dedicated who has attentiveness, who is concentrating in my prayer and make dua to
Allah subhanho wa Taala ponder over what you're reading. So everyone knows Surah Fatiha, but how
many people

01:24:15 --> 01:24:16
			so how many people

01:24:18 --> 01:24:52
			know what Surah Fatiha means? Everyone knows that they have we've all read Fatiha. But do you know
what it means. And if you don't know what it means, then learn what it means. Surah ikhlas
poonawalla had the easiest or everyone knows it. But how many of us know what it means? So read the
translation. Learn what it means so that when you're praying and you're reading these sutras that
you read in your prayers, you actually know what you're saying. Likewise, the doors that you read in
the record and so you know what they mean? recite in a slow and beautiful voice. So when you're
reciting even if you're reciting silently to yourselves, recite nicely and slowly it's not a race.

01:24:52 --> 01:24:59
			It's not something that you have to finish. Take your time and do it slowly. Remember that Allah is
watching you and responding to you.

01:25:00 --> 01:25:33
			So like one of the brothers said before, the whole show is knowing that Allah is watching, you know
that Allah is watching you, he knows what you're doing. He knows whether you're concentrating or not
concentrating, and look at the place of frustration. So the sooner is that when you're praying, you
look down, you don't look around, you don't look at like what's going on everywhere else, how other
people are praying, you look down at where you would prostrate, pray with a barrier or a sutra,
close by. So if you're praying in an open place, no prayer, the back of the masjid, where loads of
people are going to walk in front of you pray towards the pillar, or put something in front of you,

01:25:33 --> 01:26:05
			so that you won't be distracted, and other people will have to walk around you. And it's not like an
obstacle course. Remove things from the surrounding area, that could be a distraction. So if you're
praying in a place where there's pictures, you cover up those pictures, you're praying in a place
where there's other distractions, writing on the wall and stuff, make sure that you cover up or you
move to a place where you're not going to be distracted, right? Don't go and pray by the entrance of
the masjid where people are coming and continuously going in and out, because you're just going to
be distracted. So you look for a place where there are no distractions, lengthen your bearing and

01:26:05 --> 01:26:14
			prostration. Keeping in mind that is the closest that you can be to your Lord, right. So spend your
time and take your time, especially when you're making a call, and you're making Sujata.

01:26:15 --> 01:26:51
			What can damage your control, don't pray when food is ready, and you want to eat right? Like we
said, if you're hungry, eat if you're thirsty, then drink. If you need to go to the bathroom, go to
the bathroom, and so on. don't pray when you feel the need to answer the call of nature. If you need
to go to the bathroom, go to the bathroom first and then pray. don't pray when you're falling,
sleeping, right. So if for example, you've had a long day or something, take a nap before you pray
before the time of prayer begins. Take a nap. And so you yourself manage your time you know
yourself, you know how you're going to be and you pray in an appropriate way. don't pray behind only

01:26:51 --> 01:26:52
			people who are talking.

01:26:53 --> 01:27:23
			Don't let your clothes drag down while praying. So your clothes should be above your ankles, right
your clothes, your trousers, wherever you're wearing. They should be above your ankles. Don't turn
around in the prayer. So whilst you're praying, don't look around, don't turn around, concentrate in
your prayer. Don't raise your gaze to the sky that's Haram is forbidden to look up towards the sky
whilst you're praying. You're supposed to look down and don't pray as animals praying when so when
you make a decision or just like lounge around as if you're, you know you're chilling out or you're
resting pray as you should pray.

01:27:25 --> 01:28:06
			Okay, I think everyone knows this, but just quickly to go through it how many rockers in each
prayer. So fudger is to sinners and then to follow. Right? It's the fudger prayers to sinners and to
for for the whole is for sooner than for for then to some now. roster is for follow up and no sooner
mohareb is 3/4 and two sooner. Russia is for far too soon. And then you pray your winter, whether
you pray one or three or whatever you pray. So these are the Sooners of the prayer. Anything else
that you pray over and above this is not the son of the prayer. That's just knuffle prayer. So for
example, if you come to the mosque early, and it's not time for the hurry and you want to pray six

01:28:06 --> 01:28:41
			o'clock hours, you just want to pray six, that's knuffel prayer. It is not the Sunnah of these
prayers. Okay. And so the sooner these prayers are these prayers, how do you know what is the Sunnah
and what isn't. So now it's your intention. So if when you stand to pray, your intention in your
heart that these are the four cylinders of the heart, then it's the four cylinders of the heart. But
if your intention is knuffle, then it's nothing. If you're praying, and your intention is that it's
the forefather, then it's the fourth, fourth. And so it is all based around your intention. Okay,
now the next thing that we're going to do is the description of the prayer, we're actually going to

01:28:41 --> 01:29:03
			practically learn how to pray. Okay, so basically, what I want you to do is I'm going to show you
first very quickly, or I'm going to ask one person to volunteer, we'll show you very quickly how to
pray. And then in our groups, we'll quickly do a little exercise where everyone prays and the group
leaders will make sure that you're praying properly. Actually, should we just do it all together?
Yeah. All together. Okay, everyone Stand up.

01:29:05 --> 01:29:12
			Stand up and stand. Can you see the rows here? Right, the rows are marked in the carpet standing
rules to start from here.

01:29:14 --> 01:29:15
			That's the front row.

01:29:16 --> 01:29:17
			*.

01:29:19 --> 01:29:23
			Standard rolls. So if the group leaders can like to smoke in between and make sure everyone standing
properly.

01:29:32 --> 01:29:36
			Make sure you've got enough space to make such that yes, if there's wires or a table in front of you
don't stand

01:29:38 --> 01:29:41
			next to the lots of space over here. On my right.

01:29:42 --> 01:29:44
			Has everyone got a place to pray?

01:29:52 --> 01:29:52
			Yep.

01:29:53 --> 01:29:57
			Okay, so, when it comes to prayer was the first thing that you'd have to do.

01:29:58 --> 01:29:59
			So the intention, were

01:30:00 --> 01:30:09
			Do you do the intention? What do we say? In your heart? Right? So the intention is already in your
heart that you're going to pray. Okay? Then what's the first thing that you do?

01:30:11 --> 01:30:12
			What's the next thing that you do?

01:30:15 --> 01:30:28
			You say Allahu Akbar, you make the tick meal, right? How do you make this appear? You say Allahu
Akbar, and you raise your hands, raise everyone raise their hands as you would. Don't make don't do
anything else. Just raise your hands. Where do you raise them up to?

01:30:30 --> 01:30:34
			You have two options, either the shoulder or the bottom of your ears.

01:30:35 --> 01:30:36
			Right?

01:30:37 --> 01:30:44
			And then you say, Allahu Akbar, and you put your hands on your, where do you put them? on your
chest? What's your chest?

01:30:46 --> 01:30:48
			Your chest is basically anything above

01:30:49 --> 01:30:55
			the belly button. That is the chest right? to the top. And so you put it in the middle, just stand
comfortably.

01:30:56 --> 01:31:08
			How do you where do you put your hands? The right one goes on top of the left one. Right? Where
exactly do you put your hands? Do you put on your elbow do you put on your forearm do you put on
your hand?

01:31:09 --> 01:31:18
			You have an option you can either put it on your wrist? Or you can put it on your elbow. Okay, so
stand as if you're praying

01:31:19 --> 01:31:23
			when somebody hands on you, okay, where would you be looking?

01:31:24 --> 01:31:25
			down so look down.

01:31:27 --> 01:31:31
			Right? And then what's the next thing that you do? What's the first thing that you read?

01:31:33 --> 01:31:55
			You read the opening door, which is there are different versions but one of them is tapana kolomela.
Behind the water Baraka smoke avatar legit Dhaka, La Ilaha Pharaoh, and there are other doors as
well. So that's the opening door jury that loud would you read that silently? silently, always
right. Doesn't matter what the prayer is. What do you read next?

01:31:56 --> 01:32:30
			Surah Fatiha so how do you start Surah Fatiha? No. You say Ruby lahemaa shaytani r rajim Bismillah R
Rahman r Rahim. And then you start the press then you start sort of. So you read Surah Fatiha Al
hamdu, lillahi, rabbil, aalameen, all the way up to one of Berlin. And then you say, I mean, right?
So, if you're reading out loud, if it's a congregation prayer, when a man says well, Darlene out
loud, you say I mean, if you're reading silently, like you just reading your prayers, something that
obviously you read silently, then you read what you read after that.

01:32:32 --> 01:32:33
			Any surah of the Quran

01:32:35 --> 01:32:47
			except for the obviously, right? So any sort of the Quran, right? So you can read any surah whether
it's long, whether it's short, you can do as much as you want, okay? What do you do after that? So
after you finish reading a surah, then what do you do?

01:32:48 --> 01:33:02
			You say, Allah Akbar, what do you do at same time as saying Allahu Akbar, you raise your hands
again. So raise your hands again, everyone raise their hands. And now we're going to go into record,
right? So say, Allahu Akbar, and then going to recall.

01:33:05 --> 01:33:07
			How do you stand on record ready, put your hands,

01:33:09 --> 01:33:17
			your hands on your knees, how should your back be, your back should be straight. So this is where
the volunteers need to come and make sure everyone's back history.

01:33:20 --> 01:33:25
			So stand normally, as you're standing, you don't need to do anything with your feet, make sure that
your back is straight.

01:33:28 --> 01:33:30
			Right? So bit lower, lower.

01:33:36 --> 01:33:41
			good exercise, right? And looked down, right, you're looking down, you're not looking at me, you're
looking down.

01:33:44 --> 01:33:58
			Right, so you make your back straight. And as you're standing in record, you have to pause you have
to stay in that way, you can just quickly regroup and come out. You have to take your time. Right,
so make sure your back is straight. And once your back is straight, what you read

01:33:59 --> 01:34:07
			some how neurobiol Arlene, how many times three times. Okay, after you make say that, then what's
the next thing that you're going to do?

01:34:08 --> 01:34:15
			So stand up, you want to stand up again? And you're going to raise your hands again, to your ears,
raise your hands, everyone raise their hands?

01:34:16 --> 01:34:17
			And what do you say?

01:34:19 --> 01:34:21
			semi Allah halimun hamidah and then put your hands down.

01:34:23 --> 01:34:25
			Right? So you put your hands down. And what do you recite?

01:34:27 --> 01:34:45
			Robin our little hand Hamden? Kathy, you're on by uma MOBA, confy. And there are many other devices
that you can learn as well. Okay. What's the next thing that you saw? Even now when you're standing,
you take your time, right? You stand properly, make sure that it's done properly. Where are you
looking? marami right. You're looking down, why is to look down.

01:34:46 --> 01:34:48
			Okay, and then now what are you going to do next?

01:34:50 --> 01:35:00
			You don't raise your hands. And this time you don't raise your hand. So the first three times we
raised our hands when we started the prayer. When we went to record when he came up from record, we
raised

01:35:00 --> 01:35:07
			Our hands, now we're not going to raise our hands. All we're going to say is allow more and then go
down in such a go down into such.

01:35:11 --> 01:35:14
			Okay, now how do you do such that when you put your hands,

01:35:16 --> 01:35:40
			you put your hands next to your face towards your face, you have to cover your face from next to
your face, right? Make sure your elbows aren't touching the ground. So if the one tears can go
around, if the group leaders, make sure your elbows aren't touching the ground, they can't be
touching the ground. Your forehead and your nose has to be touching the ground, your hands, your
knees and your toes. So make sure your toes are up as well.

01:35:41 --> 01:35:51
			Okay, so stay in sagitta. Once the volunteers come around, no hitting, I can see. Lift your elbows
up, your elbows aren't even a

01:35:52 --> 01:35:53
			reason.

01:35:54 --> 01:35:56
			Make sure that your elbows are up.

01:35:57 --> 01:36:04
			Right so you're not allowed to put your elbows on the ground. Make sure that your elbows up, stay in
such that go down.

01:36:07 --> 01:36:15
			And even when you're in such that you need to make sure that you're comfortable, right? So you need
to be insulted. And then what do you recite

01:36:16 --> 01:36:25
			Subhan? Allah, Allah Allah, how many times three times Okay, so just leave it there and go home.
Okay, so what do we do next? We say,

01:36:27 --> 01:36:30
			so syrup and say, Allahu Akbar.

01:36:32 --> 01:36:36
			Right. So now you're sitting up, everyone sit up. When you sit up, what do you do with your hands?

01:36:37 --> 01:36:43
			You put your hands on your knees. What do you do with your feet? Can you guys check their feet? What
do you do with their feet?

01:36:44 --> 01:36:49
			your left foot is flat, your right foot, the toes are up.

01:36:50 --> 01:36:54
			So your left foot should be flat, your right foot. The toes should be up.

01:36:55 --> 01:37:03
			Mike Can we just go around checking that? So the left foot is flat, you're sitting on your left
foot. The right foot is like that. So it's basically like this.

01:37:09 --> 01:37:10
			Good.

01:37:12 --> 01:37:12
			Yeah.

01:37:15 --> 01:37:15
			I don't

01:37:19 --> 01:37:20
			know you're looking.

01:37:21 --> 01:37:22
			You're looking down. So look down.

01:37:24 --> 01:37:31
			So look down, right, some of you guys probably aren't used to the feet, but you need to practice
right? And then what do you do? What do you recite?

01:37:34 --> 01:37:49
			You say Allah homophily or harmony or if anyone had any was opening and there are different doors
that you can read again, right? But you read at least Rob balefully. You make a dua, and then what
do you do? You say, allow what on you go down, so go down,

01:37:51 --> 01:37:52
			go down again, such.

01:37:54 --> 01:37:57
			Make sure the elbows are up like you did the first time.

01:37:58 --> 01:38:00
			No looking right or left look down.

01:38:02 --> 01:38:04
			And again, once you recite

01:38:05 --> 01:38:22
			Subhana, robola, how many times three times, okay, now what we're going to do stay in such status.
But what I'm going to ask you to do now is stand up for the second record, right? And so you're
going to say Allahu Akbar, and you're going to stand up. How do you stand up? Who can tell me

01:38:23 --> 01:38:24
			stay down?

01:38:25 --> 01:38:29
			Okay, so stand up. Now stand up, stand up for the second rocker as you would.

01:38:31 --> 01:39:06
			There are two ways of standing up for the second rocker. Either you stand up and you knees leave the
ground first, or your hands leave the ground first. So whichever one you do, it's okay, so either
your knees come up first and your hands leave the ground last, or your hands the rest and your knees
the first search everyone you do, inshallah It's okay. And then you go back, where do you put your
hands? You're back into the second rocker, right? So the * it should be on the chest. So a bit
higher on the chest, right. Okay, so now we're going to skip forward. So go back and pretend this is
the second row Connor was the last rocker go back into surgery. So this is like the end of the

01:39:06 --> 01:39:16
			prayer. Now we're going to skip forward. So go back into surgery. Again, make sure the elbows are
up, elbows up. Now what we're going to do is go into that the childhood,

01:39:18 --> 01:39:24
			right? We're going to go into the childhood, which is the last part of the prayer. So say Allahu
Akbar and setup.

01:39:27 --> 01:39:43
			Okay, so now you're sitting and this is the last part of the prayer. Again, how would you put your
feet where do you put your hand Sorry? On your knees, right? What do you do with your feet? left one
flat, right one up. What do you do with your right hand in the shower?

01:39:45 --> 01:39:56
			You make a circle so you you close your two fingers. Right The last two fingers you close the thumb
and the middle finger you make a circle and the index finger you lift up so like

01:39:57 --> 01:39:59
			everyone see that? Can everyone just Can you guys go Milan. Make

01:40:00 --> 01:40:01
			sure that they're doing it properly.

01:40:03 --> 01:40:09
			Right? So close your last two fingers close like that like your fist right close. Like it's a fist
right now do that. There you go.

01:40:26 --> 01:40:28
			Okay, everyone got that?

01:40:31 --> 01:40:32
			What do you recite in the spa

01:40:33 --> 01:40:57
			adhere to the law he was about to tell you about and you read all of the dryers until the end,
right? So pretend this is the last one if it was a four o'clock prayer or a three rocker prayer, and
it was the first time you said for the show when you read up to the Shahada, Shadow Allah Allah,
Allah Allah, Masha Allah, Mohammed Abdullah soul and then you stand up again for Raka number three,
but if it's the last one, you read all of you as to the end, and then how do you finish the prayer?

01:40:58 --> 01:41:05
			You say a Solomonic Rahmatullah to the right and to the left to undo that so to the right and then
to the left.

01:41:06 --> 01:41:08
			Right, and that is the end of the prayer.

01:41:10 --> 01:41:12
			Okay, several like other and again

01:41:15 --> 01:41:16
			everyone doesn't run again.

01:41:17 --> 01:41:18
			Oh, see why.

01:41:25 --> 01:41:27
			Okay, so he said

01:41:30 --> 01:41:31
			Come on, guys, Stan.

01:41:34 --> 01:41:43
			Okay, so basically that is how you pray. The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said Son Luke, Mr.
Ito Manu. solly pray as you've seen me praying.

01:41:46 --> 01:42:05
			Okay, so you pray. This is the way that you pray. This is the Sunnah way of praying, right? I know a
lot of people may have been taught different things in different ways. And there are some
variations. Like I said, sometimes you can do certain things. But generally, this is the way that
the prophet SAW Allah when he was an employee, this is the way of the sooner prayer. Okay, so you
have the standing

01:42:06 --> 01:42:10
			where you put your hands on your chest, then you have the record.

01:42:12 --> 01:42:18
			You have standing up from record, the serger. And then finally, the sitting after the surgery.

01:42:19 --> 01:42:23
			The next thing that we're going to do is the pillars of the prayer. So very quickly, we don't have
much time left now.

01:42:24 --> 01:43:07
			There are different parts in the prayer. Right? So in the prayer, you read certain things, you do
certain things, you stand you prostrate, there are certain things which are known as pillars, and
certain things which are obligatory, and then you have everything else which is the Sunnah. What is
a pillar? a pillar is something which you have to do in the prayer. You can't make up for it. You
can't replace it, you have to do it. If you miss it, your prayer is invalid. It's incorrect. You
have to pray all over again. So the pillar is the most important part of the prayer. A Muslim is not
excused from any of them except in ability. Whoever misses a pillar intentionally, or adds a pillar

01:43:07 --> 01:43:18
			intentionally then the prayer is not accepted. So the pillars are the most important part of the
prayer. What are the pillars? There are 12 of them. 12 right 12 pillars, number one,

01:43:19 --> 01:43:47
			standing up. So at the beginning of the prayer, you have to stand when you pray. Only if you're
unable to stand Can you sit down or lie down? So if a person's ill the broken their leg, they can't
stand the now they can sit down or lie down otherwise everyone has to stand when they're praying.
That's number one. Number two is a tabula rasa tabula rasa is the first time you say Allahu Akbar.
So the first time you say Allahu Akbar, that is the tech Mira to

01:43:51 --> 01:44:16
			faze me right. So that is to be a rattle a from number three reciting Surah Fatiha. So every prayer
that you make every record you have to say Surah Fatiha. If you don't say, then your prayer won't be
accepted. Number four, Boeing what's Boeing? record? Right record is number four. Number five is
standing up after record.

01:44:17 --> 01:44:23
			Why that's number five. Number six is sedge. What are the seven pots that you make centered on

01:44:24 --> 01:44:25
			the forehead,

01:44:26 --> 01:44:29
			the nose, two hands,

01:44:30 --> 01:44:32
			two knees and the toes okay.

01:44:34 --> 01:44:42
			Sitting up between the prostrations in between the two sides does you sit up right and you sit down
so that is also a pillar of the prayer

01:44:44 --> 01:44:59
			possessing tranquility and calmness during the prayer What does that mean? That means that in the
prayer you take your time you don't rush so if you make a record and before you make record
properly, you stand up again, your prayers not accepted. Okay, so carry on with the pillars of the
prayer we said possessing tranquility and calm

01:45:00 --> 01:45:18
			So if you're making record, you can't just get up until you make record properly. Likewise,
researcher you can't just touch your head on the ground and come up. You have to be calm and still
in that position number nine, the final childhood, which is the one that you make at the end before
you finish the prayer number 10 the final sitting

01:45:20 --> 01:45:24
			number 11 the first tasleem so making a Salam aleikum wa rahmatullah

01:45:25 --> 01:46:03
			and number 12. The order, right, so you can't change the order. You can't make such the first, then
record. You can't make shampooed first and sencilla Malik Rahmatullah first, then say Allahu Akbar,
you have to follow the proper order that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, so those are
the 12 pillars, obligatory actions, these are the actions that are also obligatory, you have to do
them in the prayer. But if you miss them, not intentionally, but accidentally if you miss them, then
you can make them up by making such that to sell, which is the final true prostrations you do after
the cinema or before the cinema. Right. And so if you make if you miss them, intentionally, your

01:46:03 --> 01:46:18
			prayers not accepted. But if you make a mistake in the prayer, you forget to do them or accidentally
you missed them, then you can make them up. So it's like the pillar in that it's obligatory, but
it's different in that the pillar you can't make up the obligatory part you can make up

01:46:19 --> 01:46:36
			Okay, so there are a number of these as well. Number one is the other tech beers. So the first tech
beer when you say Allahu Akbar that's a pillar, one of the other tech beers. So they say a lot but
when you go down for a quote also Judo when you get up from sujood there is an obligatory act number
two

01:46:37 --> 01:46:49
			supplications in bowing and prostrating. So saying Subhana Allah arleen Subhana Allah Allah, these
are all obligatory, you have to say the doers in these positions. You can't just stay silent.

01:46:50 --> 01:47:29
			Number three supplications when getting up after bowing, what supplication semi Allah Hanuman Hamid
arabinogalactan, right, you have to say that as well. The first the Shahada so if you're praying
Lahore or hacer omafra Berisha, when there's more than two rock eyes You have to the childhoods. The
first one you set and you say, up to a shadow Allah, Allah, Allah lauscha them from the Rasul Allah,
and then you get to that first the shadow is also an obligatory part, and the sitting for the shadow
as well. So what you actually say, an actual sitting position, both of them are obligatory. Okay,
we're nearly finished. Just a couple of other things that I want to put on to bring to your

01:47:29 --> 01:48:08
			attention number one, in the prayer, we said, where do you put your hands on your chest? What is the
chest, anywhere above the navel, so the navel is here, right? All of this area is the chest. So you
put your hands where it's comfortable, right? So you just put them as you would normally put them.
You don't have to put them up here by your neck. You don't put them down below your navel, you put
them on your chest. That is what is reported from the prophet SAW Selim reciting Surah Fatiha that's
very, very important. If it's allowed prayer, just say you're reading with the Imam and it's a
silent prayer. Okay, if it's sorry if it's allowed prayer allowed prayer is moderate Manisha and

01:48:08 --> 01:48:47
			Fisher where the Imam recite out loud. If the Imam is reciting out loud you let him finish reciting
Surah Fatiha and after everyone says mean you recite it silently to yourself again to you recite it
silently to yourself again. And the reason for this is because the prophets also Lim said there is
no prayer for the one who does not recite Fatiha. So you're always have to recite Fatiha no matter
what type of prayer is, no matter whether you're with an email or whether you're playing by
yourself. No matter if the exam is reading out loud or is reading silently. You always have to read
it out loud. If you're reading silently then obviously it's okay you know how to read that you just

01:48:47 --> 01:49:02
			read it by yourself. But if the Imams reading out loud, you wait for him to finish after everyone
says I mean you quickly recite it to yourself again. And then you listen to the Imams recitation. So
the silent prayer It is also obligatory to recite the Fatiha as well.

01:49:04 --> 01:49:42
			Though the issue is raising of hands referred earlier then there are four times in the prayer when
you raise your hands. Number one is at the beginning of the prayer. So you say allow you raise your
hands. Number two is when you go into record. So you say allow more and you go into record you raise
your hands. Number three is when you come out of record. So you say semi Allah, even hamidah you
raise your hands. And number four, is when you're praying for her awesome Marie Berisha. After the
first session holds after the two rockers when you sit down and you say adhere to the law. And then
you say Allahu Akbar to stand up again, when you stand up, you raise your hands again. So these are

01:49:42 --> 01:49:59
			the four times that you raise your hands and it's reported for more than 50 companions of the
Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. In the record, like we said, you put your hands on your knees,
and you make sure that your back is straight and your head is level with your back. Right? So you
need to stand you need to keep your back straight.

01:50:00 --> 01:50:19
			Otherwise your record is incorrect. And the senator we said that you can either go down on your
hands first or unis both of them are okay. You make sure that your hands and your arms aren't by
your side or that your elbows are on the ground. And you make sure that the toes are touching the
ground so the elbows are lifted, the toes are touching the ground

01:50:20 --> 01:50:36
			that the chef would like he said, you raise your finger and you keep it raised until the end of the
shovel. So whether it's the first childhood or the last question would you keep your finger raised
until you finish from that the shovel that is the son of a prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam Are
there any questions?

01:50:43 --> 01:50:50
			Okay, so if in the show Do you want to move your finger that's okay as well some scholars say you
can move your finger if you want to keep it just raised that's okay as well.

01:50:59 --> 01:51:05
			If you're praying with the Imam and the Imams as semi alone, even hamidah when he stands up, what do
you say?

01:51:06 --> 01:51:14
			Robin I want to call him or you can say some monument hammy that as well Robin, our little Hamdi can
do both both okay. Insha Allah and Allah No.

01:51:16 --> 01:51:44
			Okay, so the last part then just to conclude, these are just some important points that I want you
to remember at the end. Number one is when you're praying, remember, you're standing in front of
right, like we said before, the prayer is very important to support of our religion. And we need to
know that when we stand in prayer, we're standing in front of Allah, our Lord and our Creator. And
there are normal Yama, Allah is going to ask us about this prayer. So bear this in mind, when you
stand in front of Allah subhanho wa Taala.

01:51:45 --> 01:52:19
			Number two, make sure you're preparing properly, don't rush the prayer, make sure that you've done
will do properly. Make sure that your clothes are clean. Make sure that the area that you play
you're praying in is clean. Make sure that you know that direction of the table. Make sure that the
time has come for the prayer. Make sure that you prepare yourself properly you eat and you drink and
all that so that you're not distracted in your prayer. Pray on time. Right. So we said that delaying
the prayer is a sin. Pray on time. It's not difficult to take five minutes out of your time just to
pray. So make sure that you're praying on time.

01:52:20 --> 01:52:55
			Number four, remember to have closure to all of those points that we listed on how to develop a show
and all of those points that we listed. That will take away your show. Make sure you remember them
so that when you pray, you concentrate and you dedicate yourself to Allah. And finally pray
according to the Sunnah. Don't just pray, however you want to pray, pray, the way that the Prophet
sallallahu alayhi wa sallam prayed as the professor Sallam said pray before you are prayed over and
pray as if it is your last prayer. So inshallah with that we're going to conclude, Joseph Nye for
your patience. I'll hand over to Brother suggested or sudden loss of libido Mohammed.

01:53:00 --> 01:53:02
			Shame on you, Lord. alongi

01:53:06 --> 01:53:11
			Bismillah him off money on wall Hey,
