In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the
Merciful.
He Is The One Who Sent Down Revelation.
He Is The One Who Taught.
He Is The One Who Gave Knowledge.
He Is The One Who Gives Inspiration And
Guidance, Subhanahu Wa'Ta'Ala.
ثُمَّ ذَرْهُمْ فِي خَوْضِهِمْ يَلْعَبُونَ And If They
Cannot Understand This And See This Despite Its
Clarity, Despite How Clear And Visible It Is,
Then Leave Them Engrossed In Their Vain Talk,
Meaning Let Them Do As They Do And
Say As They Say For These Are People
Who Do Not Want Guidance.
Allah Subhanahu Wa'Ta'Ala Then Says In Verse
Number 92 وَهَذَا كِتَابٌ أَنزَلْنَاهُ مُبَارَكٌ مُصَدِّقُ الَّذِي
بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ وَلِتُنذِرَ أُمَّ الْقُرَابَ مَنْ حَوْلَهَا وَالَّذِينَ
يُؤْمِنُونَ بِالْآخِرَةِ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِهِ وَهُمْ عَلَى صَلَاتِهِمْ يُحَافِظُونَ
This Is A Blessed Scripture That We Have
Sent Down To Confirm What Came Before It
And For You To Warn The Mother Of
All Cities And All That Are Around It.
Those Who Believe In The Hereafter Believe In
The Scripture And They Do Not Neglect Their
Prayers.
Allah Subhanahu Wa'Ta'Ala Says And This وَهَذَا
كِتَابٌ This Meaning The Quran, This Book, The
Quran, This Blessed Scripture أَنزَلْنَاهُ مُبَارَكٌ We Have
Sent It Down To You And It Is
Blessed.
And Allah Azzawajal Gave To You The Quran
And It Is A Blessing Because All That
The Quran Contains Is Guidance And Light And
Mercy.
All That It Contains Is That Which You
Need In Order To Be Or To Find
Salvation And Happiness In This Life And The
Next.
This Is The Beauty Of The Book Of
Allah Subhanahu Wa'Ta'Ala.
So Therefore Why Would You Reject It?
Why Would You Neglect It?
Why Would You Go And Look For Happiness
And Salvation And Comfort In Anything Other Than
The Book Of Allah Azzawajal The Quran?
مُصَدِّقُ الَّذِي بَيْنَ يَدَيْ It Was Sent Down
To Confirm That Which Came Before It Meaning
It Is In Accordance With In Confirmation Of
That Which Came Before It Of The Scriptures,
The Torah, The Injil, The Zaboor, All Of
These Scriptures That Allah Sent Down, They Call
To One And The Same Thing And That
Is Tawheed Of Allah Azzawajal, Belief In Allah
Alone, Worship Of Allah Azzawajal Alone, Belief In
Yawmul Qiyamah, Knowing That You Will Stand Before
Allah And Be Held To Account For Your
Deeds.
Everything That You Find Within The Quran, You
Will Find In Those Previous Scriptures That Came
Before It And That Shows The Truthfulness Of
The Quran Because It Confirms That Which Came
Before It.
Just As The Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam Confirmed
The Message Of The Prophets That Came Before
Him And That Shows His Truthfulness Sallallahu Alaihi
Wasallam He Didn'T Come With An Alien Notion
That You Don'T Find Amongst Ibrahim And Nuh
And Musa And Isa And Other Prophets A
.S. He Came In Confirmation Of That Which
They Came In.
So He Came Calling The People To Allah,
Calling To Tawheed, Calling To The Worship Of
Allah Azzawajal Alone, Calling People To Believe In
Yawmul Qiyamah That They Will Stand Before Allah,
That They Will Be Held To Account And
So Likewise The Quran وَلِي تُنذِرَ أُمَّ الْقُرَىٰ
وَمِنْ حَوْلَهَا And That You May Warn The
Mother Of All Cities And All That Are
Around It.
The Mother Of All Cities Being Makkah And
Then Those Around It Spreading Further And Further
Until It Reaches The Whole World And That
Is What The Prophet Did Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam
He Began With His Own Family And Began
With His Own Tribe, Began With The People
Around Him In The City Of Makkah As
Allah Azzawajal Instructed Him To Do Umm Al
-Qura Means The Mother Of All Cities And
That Is The City Of Makkah And The
Arabs Often Use The Word Umm Or Mother
To Denote The Most Important Of Something.
So In The Quran Surat Al-Fatihah Is
Called Umm Al-Kitab And Likewise From The
Cities From All The Places Of Dwellings Because
Of The Station And The Status Of Makkah
That Allah Azzawajal Is Given To It Then
Likewise Makkah Is Umm Al-Quran So From
The Names Of The City Of Makkah Is
That It Is Umm Al-Qura So Allah
Azzawajal Tells The Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam To
Warn The People Of Umm Al-Qura The
City Of Makkah And Then Those Who Are
Around And That Is What The Prophet Did
Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam When The Arabs Would Come
During The Hajj The Pilgrimage In The Early
Days Of Makkah The Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam
Would Meet With The Delegations, He Would Meet
With The People Of Those Places And He
Would Call Them To Allah Azzawajal And Slowly
But Surely Islam Begins To Spread And Then
The Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam As We Know
Migrates To Medina And There Islam Spreads Even
More And More Until All Of Arabia Becomes
Muslim Makkah Becomes Muslim, All Of Arabia Becomes
Muslim And Does The Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam
Stop There?
But No, He Continues And Then The Prophet
The Companions After Him Radiallahu Anhu Wa Jiba
'een They Continued In His Way Spreading Islam
Until Today Here In The UK We Believe
In La Ilaha Illallah And The Muslims Of
The US And The Muslims In Australia The
Muslims In China And The Muslims In Russia
And The Muslims In South Africa And The
Muslims In Argentina, New Zealand All Corners Of
The World They Believe In La Ilaha Illallah
And That Is Because Allah Azzawajal Commanded The
Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam To Spread This Message
Of Islam So Unlike The Prophets Before Who
Only Sent To Their Nations To Their People
Alone Allah Azzawajal Sent The Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi
Wasallam To All Of Humankind والذين يؤمنون بالآخرة
يؤمنون به And Those Who Believe In The
Hereafter They Believe In The Scripture Because The
Quran Tells You About يوم القيامة Tells You
About The Hereafter Tells You About Paradise Tells
You About The Hellfire And So They Believe
In That Which Allah Azzawajal Has Sent Down
In It Of The News Of The Hereafter
And يوم القيامة And Everything That Will Take
Place Thereafter وهم على صلاة محافظون And These
Are People Who Are People Of Worship They
Preserve Their Prayers They Don'T Neglect Them They
Preserve The Prayer In Terms Of Its Timings
In Terms Of Its Actions In Terms Of
Its Statements Its Words In Terms Of Its
Conditions In Terms Of Its Etiquettes They Do
Everything That Allah Azzawajal Has Commanded Them In
Terms Of Their Worship Of Allah Subhanahu Wa'Ta
'Ala And The Prayer Is Highlighted Here Because
Of Its Status And Because It Is The
Most Important Of The Actions That A Person
Can Perform In Terms Of The Physical Deeds
Allah Azzawajal Then Says In Verse Number 93
وَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّنِ اِفْتَرَ عَنَ اللَّهِ كَذِيبًا أَوْ
قَالَ أُوْحِيَ إِلَيَّ وَلَمْ يُوحَى إِلَيْهِ شَيْءٌ وَمَنْ
قَالَ سَأُنْزِلُ مِثْلَ مَا أَنْزَرَ اللَّهُ وَلَوْ تَرَأْ
إِذِ الظَّالِمُونَ فِي غَمَرَاتِ الْمَوْتِ وَالْمَلَائِكَةُ بَاسِطُوا
أَيْدِيهِمْ أَخْرِجُوا أَنْفُسَكُمْ أَلْيَوْمَ تُجْزَوْنَ عَذَابَ الْهُونِ
بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَقُولُونَ عَنَ اللَّهِ غَيْرَ الْحَقِّ وَكُنتُمْ
عَنْ آيَاتِهِ تَسْتَكْبِرُونَ Allah Azawajal says who could
be more wicked than someone who invents a
lie against Allah or claims a revelation has
come to me when no revelation has been
sent to him or says I too can
reveal something equal to Allah's revelation if he
could only see the wicked in their death
agonies as the angels stretch out their hands
to them saying give up your souls today
you will be repaid with a humiliating punishment
for saying false things about Allah and for
arrogantly rejecting his revelations Allah subhanahu wa ta
'ala says here as is mentioned elsewhere in
the Quran that there is no one that
is more wicked, more oppressive, more evil than
the one who ascribes lies to Allah Azawajal
because shirk in its essence and all of
these major sins all of these acts of
disbelief in their essence are speaking about Allah
and ascribing to Allah lies without knowledge who
is more evil, more wicked, more oppressive than
the one who does this who makes lies
about Allah that Allah has partners that there
are other gods besides Allah that Allah has
a son or that Allah has daughters who
is more wicked than this or the one
who claims to have revelation and Allah sent
him no revelation they claim that they know,
they claim that they are upon guidance they
claim that Allah gives to them guidance or
Allah gave to them revelation and all of
this is from their evil all of this
is something which is from their lying and
from their ascribing lies to Allah subhanahu wa
ta'ala Allah Azawajal says or those who
say I too can reveal something equal to
Allah's revelation all of these are people who
are rejecting and denying Allah subhanahu wa ta
'ala they are rejecting the Tawheed of Allah
Azawajal and they are claiming that they too
have guidance or that they are upon guidance
or that their gods have given to them
revelation that they have the power and the
ability to give a revelation similar to that
of the Quran all of this is from
the evil that they have done and from
the kufr and disbelief that they have Allah
subhanahu wa ta'ala says concerning these people
if only you could see these people and
these evil people when they are in the
agonies of death, the pangs of death because
we know that death has its pains and
its pangs as the Prophet told us salallahu
alayhi wasalam in his own final illness as
the Prophet salallahu alayhi wasalam was approaching his
final days he would say none has the
right to be worshipped except Allah indeed death
has its pains and so likewise Allah Azawajal
says here that if only you could see
these evil people as they are going through
the agonies of death meaning they know that
the time is coming close to them and
the angels meaning of death have come to
extract the souls of those people and they
say to them give up your souls they
say to the souls come out and leave
the body and that is because the soul
of that person doesn't want to leave the
body the Prophet told us salallahu alayhi wasalam
the difference between the soul of the believer
leaving the body and the soul of the
disbeliever the soul of the believer comes out
like the way a drop of water leaves
its the vessel easy, quick, smooth, beautiful to
look at like a drop of water falling
from a vessel whereas the other one the
disbeliever their soul has to be dragged out
has to be pulled out it is like
taking an iron and pulling it through a
ball of wool and trying to drag it
through and out and that is because it
doesn't want to leave it knows what is
waiting for it it knows now the reality
of the situation and it knows that all
that is waiting for it in the life
of the grave and on the day of
judgement is the punishment of Allah and the
wrath of Allah and the anger of Allah
and the punishment of the * fire and
so it doesn't want to leave and so
the angels will come and they will pull
it and drag it out from where it
is اليوم تجزون عذاب الهون and they will
say to this person or to this soul
today you will be given the worst of
punishments you will be repaid with the most
humiliating punishment بما كنتم تقولون على الله غير
الحق because of the false lies that you
attributed to Allah those claims that you used
to make you used to say there is
no day of judgement you used to say
that you don't have to worship Allah you
used to say that there is no God
worthy of worship you used to say that
no God exists there is no such thing
as a God all of those claims that
you made and those false lies that you
attributed to Allah this is now your result
this is now the punishment that is waiting
for you وَكُنْتُ مَنْ عَيَاتِهِ تَسْتَكْبِرُونَ and you
were arrogant in rejecting His signs Allah gave
to you His signs Allah sent you prophets
and messengers Allah showed to you the Quran
and you rejected all of it and Allah
Azzawajal then says so therefore you will have
the punishment of Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى and that
will be in their grave that will be
in their grave that they will be punished
before they will stand before Allah Azzawajal on
the Day of Resurrection and before Allah Azzawajal
will punish them on that day as well
in the final verse that we will take
today verse number 94 Allah Azzawajal then says
وَلَقَدَ جِئْتُمُونَ فُرَادًا كَمَا خَلَقَنَاكُمْ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍ وَتَرَقْتُمْ
مَا خَوَّلْنَاكُمْ مَرَاءَ ظُهُورِكُمْ وَمَا نَرَى مَعَكُمْ شُفَعَاءَكُمُ
الَّذِينَ زَعَمْتُمْ أَنَّهُمْ فِيكُمْ شُرَكَاءَ لَقَدْ تَقَطَّعَ بَيْنَكُمْ
مَضَلَّ عَنْكُمْ مَا كُنْتُمْ تَزْعُمُونَ It will be
said to them, now you return to us
alone as we first created you you have
left behind everything we gave you nor do
we see those intercessors of yours that you
claim were partners of Allah all the bonds
between you have been severed and those about
whom you made such claims have deserted you
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala says that on
yawm al qiyamah they will return to Allah
azza wa jal and Allah will say to
them وَلَقَدْ جِئْتُمُونَ فُرَادًا you have returned to
us alone كَمَا قَلَقْنَاكُمْ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةً just as
we created you at the first time when
the child is born and leaves the womb
of its mother it is alone no one
else is with that child it is alone
and just as a person is born alone
and they die alone they will be resurrected
alone before Allah azza wa jal and so
no one will come to their aid except
by the permission of Allah no one will
come and give them anything except by Allah's
permission وَتَرَقْتُمْ مَا خُوَّلْنَاكُمْ وَرَاءَ ظُهُورِكُمْ and you
have left behind everything that we gave you
so all of the wealth that you had
all of the treasures that you had of
the dunya all of the delights of this
world that you were given that you thought
therefore allowed you to be arrogant and haughty
and have that type of pride none of
that would come with you on yawm al
qiyamah none of it travels with you none
of it goes to the next life like
the belief of those ancient Egyptians that the
pharaoh would die and they would bury with
the pharaoh all of his treasures and sometimes
even his servants and others because they believed
that they would go on with him and
they would serve him in the afterlife that's
not the case you leave behind everything from
this dunya the only thing that you take
is your belief and your righteous deeds if
you have them وَمَا نَرَى مَعَكُمْ شُفَعَعَكُمُ الَّذِينَ
ازْعَمْتُمْ أَنَّهُمْ فِيكُمْ شُرَكَاءٌ and on this day
Allah says we do not see those intercessors
of yours that you claimed were partners of
Allah azza wajal where are those people that
you worship besides Allah that you claimed would
give you salvation that you claimed would give
you reward and blessing that you claimed would
come and intercede before Allah azza wajal on
this day where are they?
this is the day that you need their
help this is the day that you need
their assistance and their intercession let them come
and stand before Allah azza wajal if they
have the ability to do so if they
have the power to do so and they
will not have that power so they will
not be able to come and they won't
be able to stand and that is why
Allah azza wajal says لَقَدْ تَقَطَّعَ بَيْنَكُمْ all
of your bonds have been severed meaning all
of those things in the dunya that you
placed so much hope in it's all been
severed because none of those bonds were done
for the sake of Allah azza wajal and
so all of that hope that you have
in those false gods all of that worship
that you gave to them all of the
time that you dedicated to them all of
those efforts that you dedicated to them all
of that has been severed and it is
for nothing وَضَلَّ عَنْكُمْ مَا كُنْتُمْ تَزْعُمُونَ and
those about whom you made such claims have
deserted you they will not come to their
help to their aid to succeed for them
to give them any type of assistance but
rather Allah azza wajal alone will be the
judge of that day and he alone will
be the one who will decide the affairs
of the people and with that we come
to the end of today's episode بارك الله
