Alhamdulillah wa salatu salam ala rasulillah Assalamu alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh and welcome to this weekend course we'll be covering inshallah to Allah the life of Ibrahim Prophet Ibrahim Alayhi Salam I'll just shortly in sha Allah cuz we were about five minutes late we'll just go through what the schedule is for today sha Allah Of course will be covered by Sheikh Hassan Hanif and will begin the session inshallah which will last one hour, then we'll take a 15 minute break in Charlotte Allah and we'll start the second session again which will last an hour and have another break and then go into the last session in sha Allah Allah so they'll be three sessions three
sessions today. So without further ado, inshallah I'll let the chef commence the course part of Africa Muslim law fair Assalamu alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh.

so inshallah Allah for today and tomorrow in these morning sessions we're going to be covering the life of one of the greatest prophets of Allah subhanaw taala, a name of the Prophet and a story that many of us are familiar with, at least to some extent and in some regards. And the idea behind these students inshallah, to Allah is to fill in the blanks to if you'd like weave and thread the story of this prophet of a lot together from the various passages that Allah subhanaw taala mentioned through our token and then some of the Hadith that our Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam bolts on aerated towards concerning this prophet of Allah subhanho wa tada and that's because this prophet, inshallah
tada we're going to be discussing or studying over these next couple of days and analyzing his life and extracting lessons that we can learn and benefit from, from his example. And from the role model that he is his Salatu was Salam is the Prophet that is especially relevant to these few days and weeks that We're now entering into, where very soon inshallah within a week or so going to be entering into the month of the ledger, as we know, and the month of the ledger, therefore is the month of Hajj, and the month of the read of Aadhaar, the great or the Big Read. This is around the time now where millions of people from across the world would have been reading themselves or already would have started to travel to Saudi Arabia for the Hajj, people from across the world would have come to answer the call of this prophet of Allah subhanaw taala the call that he made, that Alonzo will then record for us in the Quran. The stories of all the rites of Hajj and many of the different aspects of Hajj resonate and come from the different parts of the life of this Prophet and his family, and he was sent home. And so this is a prophet of Allah subhanaw taala that it is worth our while worth our time and effort to spend studying and learning about and all of the
prophets of Allah subhanaw taala are important, all of them their stories are amazing. And what is amazing about the stories of the different prophets in the Quran, is that Allah subhanaw taala when he mentions the stories of the Prophet, we have examples, or we have lessons that we can learn regarding different aspects of their lives and different things that we may go through as well that we can take from them and benefit from them. So for example, there are certain prophets of Allah subhanaw taala the story that Alonzo Joel mentioned regarding them in the Quran. resonator only speaks about the only focuses on their struggles with their nations. So for example, you have the

But then there are stories of other prophets or the human ceram in which we hear their personal struggle in life. So the story is not really so much about the nation about the people

Throughout the Quran, different mention of prophets, each one of them focusing on a slightly different thing, so that we can all benefit from it, for example, because some of us don't really have a problem, we don't really have an issue when it comes to maybe us dealing with the wider community is not really an issue for us. But allow us permission before other people is still a problem. Some people, maybe then you Muslims, they just accept a stamp. Some people live in certain parts of the world, or certain countries or certain places where this is still a real problem for them still a struggle. And so Allah subhanaw taala gives them lessons. But for other people, their
struggle is with their families, their struggle is of a personal nature. The struggle is with their health, their struggle is in different ways. And even therefore, within the family context. We have the stories of prophets who have disagreements with their children, profit through their wives, reject them, their spouses, prophets, who their parents reject them. And so we have all of those examples throughout the Quran.
So the Prophet that we have, if you haven't guessed by now, and I think it's very obvious is the Prophet Ibrahim alayhi salatu was Salam. And the Prophet Ibrahim alayhis salam is the second most mentioned prophet of Allah in the Quran, the second most mentioned, Prophet of Allah subhanaw taala in the Quran. The first most mentioned prophet of Allah in the Quran is the Prophet Mousavi Salaam, and the Prophet Mousavi Salaam and his story is a very important story and one that resonates very strongly with this oma and that is why the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam mentions the Prophet Mousavi Solomon Bani Israel in his nation, the children of Israel in many different contexts
throughout the Sunnah. And that's because we meaning the nation of the Prophet, salallahu, alayhi wa sallam, we have many similarities, we resemble them in many different ways, many of the, of the challenges that we're going through that we do go through all the similar challenges that they went through, and many of the mistakes that we make or the traps that we fall into, or traps that they already fall into, and that they also went through and many of the ways that we are meant to overcome this we can also take from the life and the story of the Prophet Musa an instrument that is what his story is mentioned throughout the Quran in many different ways. And that is also a story
worthy of a studying and and benefiting from, but the second most often mentioned prophet of Allah azza wa jal in the Quran is this prophet, the Prophet Ibrahim alayhis salam he's mentioned around 60 or more times in the Quran.
And the Prophet Ibrahim, how do you set him is a prophet who predates obviously many of the other prophets of Allah subhanho wa Taala. He's from the earlier prophets of Allah azza wa jal, the Prophet Ibrahim Ali Salaam, His story is mentioned throughout the Quran, and a number of different contexts. As we just said, there's context when it comes to you and your people, or the Prophet and his people, the Prophet and his family, maybe the prophet and some personal difficulties that they're going through. Ibrahim alayhis salam, and his story is one that has a bit of everything, has some of his struggles with his people and with his nation has some of the struggles with himself and
his family, some of the challenges and hardships that he has to go through some of the other struggles that Allah subhanaw taala mentions in the Quran concerning Ibrahim al Islam, some of the trials and the tests that he went through have a very personal nature. And so we take from the story we brought him and he sent him many of those different facets and that is why loss of habitat as we will come to see in the first chapter that speaks about some of his virtues. Allah subhanaw taala speaks about him in a great way a lot of social praises him and Allah subhanaw taala. Showers upon him accolades and names and titles, or the Salatu was Salam because of his station. It was the
position of a number of the scholars, for example, that the Prophet Ibrahim alayhis salam is the greatest of all lost profits after the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam. Because we know that Allah subhanaw taala, made five of the messengers gave them a higher status than the other prophets and messengers of Allah. And when we speak about the status and virtues of prophets, it's not done in an arrogant and boastful way. Right? So we don't say, for example, that this prophet spirit in that Prophet, so that was some type of competition, no, these are virtues that Allah subhanaw taala gave to certain prophets over others, even though we believe in them all, and accept them all, and
love them all and acknowledge that each one of them is someone that was chosen by Allah subhanaw taala for profit one and four messenger ship and that is the meaning of those Hadith where the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam used to say, for example, no one should say that I am better than the Prophet Yunus or a salam, even though we know it is part of our RP that our belief, our theology, that there is no profit better or no person better than the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam. So why then is the prophet and so I'm saying, Don't say that I'm better than the Prophet Yunus. Because sometimes he leads to arrogance and boasting and pride. And that is something which
we take away from that. I mean, some of that will come also with the Prophet Ibrahim alayhi salam. So the Prophet, the prophets of Allah subhanaw taala have certain virtues five of them five
Have them are known as the owner as the profits of high resolve the profits of high determination, the profit to Allah subhanaw taala mentions their stories in the Quran and they are given this accolade in the Quran of being all azim fosse biru. However, some of the scholars were of the opinion and a sizable number of scholars are of the opinion that it is the Prophet Ibrahim alayhis salam, and one of the reasons behind that reasoning. And this is one of the things that we will learn inshallah, as we go on throughout these two days, is that Allah subhanho wa Taala in the
Quran, doesn't command us as a nation and as a people to follow the example of anyone after our Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam other than the Prophet Ibrahim alayhi salatu salam. So we know for example, that we have to obey our profits on a lower and he will send him we have to follow him as a role model what Allah says up to Allah, how are you Oh Rasul, obey Allah and His messenger. Allah says, Allah can Allah comfy rasulillah he will sweat on Asana. There is for you in the Messenger of Allah a great example, meaning the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. those verses are many and replete throughout the Quran. But after the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, Allah
subhanaw taala doesn't really give that command to us to follow, for example, the way of know or the way of hood or the way of salt, except for the Prophet Ibrahim alayhis salam. That command is given in two contexts in the Quran, to follow the Prophet Ibrahim al Islam as we will see, the first of them is that the Prophet Ibrahim al Islam is also a good example to follow, but cannot come close. But on Hassan Ibrahim, I will live in America. There is for you a good example, in the Prophet Ibrahim Alayhi Salam and with those who are with him. So large social makes him an example and a role model for us. And the second context is a command from Allah subhanaw taala when he says some
erotica, and tabular militare Ibrahim hanifa. And then we have revealed to you and commanded you should also follow the religion in the way of Ibrahim alayhi salatu was Salam.
So the story of Ibrahim alayhis salaam is one that is extremely important. We're going to start from the beginning. Now obviously in the Quran, Allah subhanaw taala. When he mentions the stories of the prophets, he doesn't mention them in a biographical way. We're not given the history of this personality we're not told about his birth and his family, and where he lived and what society was like at that time. No Did the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam ever do this for any of the any of the prophets of Allah subhana wa, Tada. were given snippets of information. And then the rest is taken either from Israelite traditions, right? Or is taken from historical accounts that the Arabs
had stories, maybe alterations that they had. And those are the ones that you will find in the books of Islamic history. The books of Imam of poverty, and even a circle and even Katherine will be dire when you hire much of the background information. We don't know whether it's authentic or not. But we also it is allowed and permissible for us generated because it doesn't have anything to do with halal or haram doesn't make a difference to our religion. Why though it is important to understand, does Allah subhanaw taala not focus on those issues? Why does he want to tell us the background of Abraham? Are you Sam? Wouldn't it be nice to know when he lived which era which country, which city,
what people were like at the time what was going on in the world? It would be nice to have that information. But Allah subhanaw taala never does it in the Quran. Nor does the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam ever focus on it. And one of the main reasons and Allah knows best is because without that information, we focus on what is more important. And what is important is what Allah does mention, and what the prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam mentioned. That is what is important for us in order to be able to extract lessons. Why? Because as humans, we're often distracted. with humans, we're often unable to see what is important if we're given a whole load of information. If
we're given pages and pages of biography, which last lessons do you do you extract Allah subhanaw taala has made it easy for you. You don't need to worry about anything else. Everything that Omar mentioned is a lesson and that is the general teaching methodology of the Quran and the Sunnah. So anything that is not important anything that is considered,
for example, extra information, anything that's considered not necessary detail
isn't mentioned in the Quran. By reverse we also then take take a principle from the Quran and the study of the Quran and the stories of the prophets of Allah because much of the story of this course and Ibrahim alayhis salaam will be focused on the passages of the Quran. So it's important to understand these principles. So the first principle is that what Allah has mentioned is an important the details that are missed out or missed out because they are not important. There is no major lesson for us to learn from them by reverse. The second principle is that therefore the details that are mentioned in the Quran, they are important, right? How does that work? For example, let's give
the quick example of the story of the people of the cave SoTL gaff in the story of the people of the cave, again, as is usual in the Quran, Allah subhanaw taala doesn't give us any background detail. We don't know when those young men lived. We don't know which country they came from. We don't know their ages, we don't really know much concerning their lives and their stories except what Allah subhanaw taala mentioned. So detail mentioned why the principle is because it's not important. But then Allah subhanaw taala will go on in the same passage of the story of the people of the cave, to mention the manner in which they slept in great detail. Allah describes it was in so much detail,
how they stepped how the eyes would open and close how they would turn from side to side, how the sun would come and strike the monster sleeping in the cave. Why go through so much detail about the manner of their sleep, and not tell us anything else concerning their background. Because therefore, the second principle says that the detail that is mentioned is extremely important. There are lessons to take from it. In the case of the people of the cave, it is to show a law's blessing and miracle upon them, that when you turn to Allah believe in Allah trust in Allah subhana wa tada Allah azza wa jal will will protect you to such detail and with such care and with such benevolence and
that is the lesson that you will extract. So, when detail is mentioned is because there is a reason when detail is excluded or not mentioned it is because there is a reason analyze the origin knows best. So let us start from as far back as we can with the story of Ibrahim alayhi salatu was Salam. It is said in the books of Islamic history. And again, as we said, a lot of this is taken from Israelite traditions, Israelite traditions means that it's most likely taken from Judeo Christian sources that the Arabs had access to when the Arabs went especially, and they conquered the Roman Byzantine lands, they were able to access the manuscripts and the books and, and the learning that
they had, and the stories that they had concerning these prophets, and the scholars from amongst the companions, and those who came after them, took from them and they read from them and they rated them. And that's because the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam that it is permissible to do so, so long as anything that said, doesn't contradict our religion, so long as it doesn't go against any of the principles of the Quran, or the Sunnah of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam. However, at the same time, we don't necessarily believe in everything, meaning that we can attest to the veracity and the truthfulness of what is mentioned. Allah knows best, but we simply narrated. So
it's not something that you believe in, and therefore it's something which is allowed, because it's not part of our theology. It's not part of our creed, and our belief in allowed even our belief in these prophets isn't changed by the stories, and if it was changed, then it wouldn't be allowed. For example, some of those sources will attribute to some of the prophets of Allah certain sins that they committed. And that goes against our principle in Islam. No prophet of Allah commits a major sin or commits an act of Sheriff that goes against the principle of a law therefore we don't take those narrations we know that they're incorrect. We know that they must be fallacies. Why? Because
they go against what Allah and the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam told us, but everything else is just information and information for the sake of information can be narrated, but it's not something necessarily that you should believe will put a great deal of faith in Allah knows best. Anyway, it has said in the books of Islamic history when Kathy you mentioned this before the likes of even asac and poverty and others, that there were 10 generations between the Prophet Ibrahim Salaam and the Prophet Muhammad.
And we know that between the Prophet no Halle Salaam and the Prophet Adam marries them, so we're working in reverse order from the Prophet Ibrahim to the Prophet. The question here therefore has been confused him Allah and others mentioned is what is the meaning of the name generation or the word generation What does it mean? generation or rune in Arabic Quran? What is the Quran? So some scholars will say and one of the translations that is given there are two viewpoints The first is that the word current refers to a century 100 years a century. So when we say that there were 10
generations or 10 centuries turned around between Adam and no Halima ceram. The meaning of the word on here refers to century meaning there was a millennia 1000 years between those two prophets of Allah the second meaning
is that the word or means generation there were 10 generations between them. Now our generation depends upon the longevity and the lifespan or the average lifespan of the people of that time right so for example it is said now for example in the average 100 year cycle that there are three generations what your one Father yourself and your children are all of you within 100 years cycle live right so it's very common for example for many young children to still have their grandparents alive still relatively very common in many in children have their grandparents or some of them still alive. That's like three generations therefore in a century right that's the common thing now
however in the time of Ibrahim adding cinnamon before him in the time of no hurry he said I'm and before me in the time of Adam out he said I'm It seems that Allah subhanaw taala knows best that the generations of people were much longer lifespan generally was much longer than you know this because of the story of no hurry. sent to different generations one after the after, after the other it is the same people that have mocking him and making fun of him, and so on and so forth. And Allah knows best. It is therefore a generation that is much much longer, in which case, if we take that type of life span of 1000 years, and that's 950 years of just him giving Dawa of being a prophet of Allah, minus the time that he lived before that because the prophets of Allah receive revelation, once once they reach generally speaking maturity. They're not given Prophethood as young children except for the odd occasion or with some exceptions that they're given, but generally, they've spent time before Prophethood as
well, growing up and living with their people and so on like our Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, and so therefore the generation of the people or the lifespan of a single generation of people becomes much longer even Kafeel, Rahim Allah tada says that if we take that second meaning, which also as you can see, because there is based upon Quran also is also a very strong opinion. We therefore what we have is that the generations that are 10 are extremely long, we're not just talking 1000 years now, we're talking possibly generation 1000 years, in which case the generations between them are 1000s of years and Allah knows best we don't know either way. The point of this
being that they brought him out he Salam comes after the time of No, and he said I'm even more hemella law tada says that the from the prophets three are considered to be father's three are considered to be fathers of humankind. The first of them is Adam Harrison, as we know he is the father of all of mankind. He is a born bishop. The third father is the Prophet Ibrahim alayhi salam, and he is considered a father, not in the biological physical sense, because there are children and and ancestries that go back to other than the other than Ibrahim alayhis salam, but he is considered to be the third father in the spiritual, religious sense how, because every prophet that comes after him, is from his
children, every prophet of Allah that comes after Ibrahim Alayhi Salam comes from his descendants, either through the line of Izmir, either Eastern which is our Prophet sallallahu, alayhi wasallam, or through the line of his heart, or he's an amateur sandwiches, the remainder of the profits, the profits have been thrown in and so on. They come from that line of his heart out, he said, um, but all of them essentially come from the profit of Ibrahim Hari, from the descendants of Ibrahim.
And even though for example, you know, the Arabs generally will say that they come back from Ibrahima Islam because the Arabs and especially those that have, you know, the tribes that go back to the tribes, the olden tribes of the Arabs, for us, for example, as Pakistanis, Indian Somalis, and whatever else we may be in our ethnicities, he is still a father for us. And that is why in the dua that we make in the morning when we from the account of the morning, we say where Allah miletti abena Ibrahim hanifa. And we are upon the religion and the way, our Father Ibrahim, now when the Prophet Solomon says this, he is a literal father. When I and you say this, we mean our spiritual
father, or, for example, our religious father in the sense that every prophet that comes after Ibrahim or his sermons from his children, from his descendants, and the prophets of Allah, are considered to be fathers of their people. The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam is considered to be a father like figure. It's not a biological father, not real father, but a father like figure because Allah says concerning the poor, or the wives of the Prophet salallahu alayhi wa sallam was wired to whom?
his wives or their mothers. And so therefore, just as they are like our mother, like figures, his wives than the profits on a long run, he will send them and the prophets of Allah, our Father, like figures to their respective nations. So we have a very long time between our prophets of Allah what he was telling me between his father Ibrahim alayhis, salam, but the the Arabs were some well the people, the people of Quraysh, the Arabs of Jai Healy of the time of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, the general Arabs, they lived in the Arabian Peninsula, continue to have the strong attachment to Ibrahim alayhis salam to the extent where the when the Prophet sallallahu alayhi
wasallam, conquered the city of Mecca. And he went into the Kaaba, and he destroyed the idols from the images that he saw was the images that the koresh had made of the profits of the Prophet Ibrahim, and the Prophet is married. They had made images of them because they continued throughout the centuries and the generations to have very strong attachment to these prophets of Allah. Allah him Salatu was Salam and clearly they were free of the ship that they committed during the time and this is something inshallah, that we will touch upon. Every time, Rahim Allah Allah says that the name Ibrahim
comes from the old Surya near the Arabic the language, which is Syriac. It's an Aramaic type of language that they used to speak. Ibrahim Alayhi Salam didn't speak Arabic, Arabic wasn't his language. Arabic becomes the language of his marry that we will come on to inshallah most likely tomorrow when we speak about the story of his marinara. He said Arabic becomes the language of his married Salaam because the tribe of Judah home that comes and settles in Makkah along with this Mario and his mother had him Sam, and they speak Arabic And so he learns from them and he marries from them. And so that becomes his language and his and moreover, so the Prophet Ibrahim Alayhi
Salam who is before is married his father doesn't speak Arabic. So his name is not an Arabic name. Its origin is not Arabic even though obviously used in Arabic and has become like part of the Quran and so on. But its origin is not Arabic. It
says that its origin is Surya Nia and our make type of language. And it means in that language, urban Rahim
Ibrahim means Rahim means father or him means merciful, a merciful Father, and from the characteristics that we know of Ibrahim Ali Salaam throughout the Quran. And the Sunnah, is that Ibrahim Alayhi Salam was extremely kind and gentle and loving, and caring, and merciful. And that is why when the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was comparing Abu Bakr radi Allahu Allahu Allah and to some of the prophets of the past, he compared Abu Bakr radi Allahu anhu also was known
For his gentleness and his kindness and His love and His caring for people and so on, he compared him and likened him to the Prophet Ibrahim alayhis salam, and aroma rhodiola one was known for his for his energy He is known for his harshness is known for his bravery is known for his courage of a physical sense. Tara says, that is the original meaning of the name Ibrahim
aboon Rahim. He's a person who is a loving father and a caring person and he becomes a real as we know, a loving father and a caring person. And from his lovingness for his children, is some of the doors that we will make an and we will give examples of this. So the Prophet Ibrahim and he said I'm according to most Muslim historians was born in the city of Babylon, Babylon.
And the city of Babylon in those times was part of the greater region of what we call Mesopotamia, which today in modern times would be Iran, Iraq, Turkey, Syria, that region was a whole one areas like one Kingdom or two kingdoms in that massive area, and it was called Mesopotamia. And it lasted for hundreds if not 1000s of years. And Ibrahim al Islam was born in the area in a place called Babel Babel today, or Babylon today what was known as old Babylon is today in modern day Iraq.
Ibrahim al Islam It is said was born. And again, none of this we have as an authentic Hadith of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam. But it is what is mentioned in the books of history, Ibraheem alehissalaam was born in this area. At a time when Babylon was one of the centers of the world. Why Babylon? At one time, even modern day historians consider Babylon are one time to have been the biggest city upon Earth. So at one time, Babylon was considered to be the major city on the face of the planet. So Ibrahim Ali son was born in that area, but it is said and there are different narrations and stories as to how this happened. It is said that after a while his father migrated.
And he left and he went to a place called heroin. And heroin would be in modern day Turkey towards the Iraqi border and so on modern day on modern day Turkey, sorry, that's where they migrated to and that is where they settled. And he said that that is where with those people that he brought him out, he said, I'm calling them to Allah subhanaw taala those are the people that he called to Allah subhanaw taala those are the people that he called, you know, when he has that, as we will see in the different chapters that we have in the course booklet, the the different debates that he has with his father and his people. Those are the second group of people that he hosts on that is her on
the king of Babylon, Babylonian here, and he is like he is the king of the whole area. On page number four of the course booklet we want to begin with after giving that brief background introduction. And I think it's just interesting to know the stuff because maybe many of us haven't really come across this or heard of this before.
What we have in chapter one is what we want to begin with, which is some of the virtues of Ibrahim alayhi salatu salam as they are mentioned in the Book of Allah subhanho wa Taala. And the way that the course booklets been done, is that it is in each chapter verses according to the order that they appear in the Quran. So Surah Baqarah verses and there are the memorandum. And according to the order that they appear in the Quran, that doesn't necessarily mean that they're the order in which they took place in the life of Ibrahim or de Sena because, as we know, the Quran doesn't do things in chronological order. The verses of the Quran are not chronological, they're done in order of, of
what is important to the context of what is being discussed by Allah subhanaw taala and that is why the stories of all of the prophets of Allah more or less, with the exception of one or two, they are dispersed throughout the Quran, and they are scattered throughout the different sources and agenda of the Quran. Because each part that is mentioned in one place, serves a greater purpose in a giving us a message and a principle. Ibrahim alayhi salam, there is no one that is more important to him in his life than Allah subhanho wa Taala not his wife, not his children, not no one, even though those people and those other things are extremely beloved to Ibrahim early Islam because his nature is one of being loving and caring and kind and compassionate. Not his father, not his spouse's, not his children. No, none of these people are close to Ibraheem alehissalaam if that
means that he has to compromise his connection and his relationship with Allah subhana wa Tada. And that is why xuejun praises him in this verse and what an amazing presidents that Ibrahim Alayhi Salaam Allah Tried him with different commands for uttama Hoon, and he completed them all. But greater accolade what greater virtue or greater praise Can you give to someone except that they passed every test that Allah put before them? And often one of the mistakes that we have or that we make as parents especially, is that we're very short sighted that we only think of our children in terms of those that we can see physically before us. So if I'm
children, I'll make time for my children if I want to, I will make time for my children and grandchildren. But it's only what I can physically see. Or even if it's not something which I can physically see, I don't normally go beyond the first generation, my own children, our last one, they give me pious children, or log him. And we generally even if not by words, by intention, we limit the meaning of this word, but the prophets of Allah in the Quran. When they speak about their children, they use the word the rear, and the rear refers to everything which is a descendant, everyone that descends from you all of your offspring for as many generations as they come. All a
woman guru, yet he so when he's making dua, and Allah says you're an Imam. The next thing he thinks is that I don't just want success for myself. I don't just want a large reward for myself, but Allah woman
All of my children of Allah, give it to all of my descendants, all of my descendants give it to them as well. And Allah subhanaw taala replies as we know when he says, Lion Valley mean that the represses, don't take from this covenant, meaning what according to a number of the scholars of tafsir that yes, they will be from amongst your children, righteous people, that will become even hams and leaders and those are all of the prophets of Allah that will come from his children and from his descendant as we know, and from them, and the greatest of them being our profits on Allah, Allah, He will sell them. But at the same time, there will be plenty of people who don't take from
the covenant, because they are oppressors and wrongdoers. Right, and to some extent, that should give us some solace. And to some extent, you should give us some understanding of how me and you don't control everything. And there is Allah subhanaw taala
that decrees as he pleases, subhanho wa Taala.
So the Prophet Ibrahim Allah Islam has, as we know from his children, people who are who are not worthy of being from the Prophet Ibrahim Alayhi Salam because of the shift and the disbelief and the turning away from the path of Allah subhanho wa Taala. And that's why one of the amazing things if we think about it, is in the time of Ibrahim alayhis salam o in the time of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. One of the things that I often find interesting is to analyze the Quraysh, in the time of jahai, Leah or even in the early parts of Islam, the Quraysh are the people who are descendants of the Prophet Ibrahim, and the Prophet inspiring them, their actual lineage can be
traced back to those prophets, like some people claim that they formed the life the hustle of the process of them today, and they don't really know and we don't really know they don't really have a, an established lineage or family tree, these people who is known and established that they go back all the way to is Marian and Ibrahim already Muslim. So they come from an amazing lineage and family, the Quraysh. Not only that, but they live by the Kaaba, what how many of us would give everything that we heard or give, you know, like we say the phrase, give our right arm to go and be able to be people who live next to the harem. Next to the karma, people who live in Makkah, these
are people who are born there, and they live there. Not only that, but a lot that made them custodians of the karma. They don't just live in the area, they actually responsible for it. And because of them, Allah Subhana, Allah has given them leadership and position and status over all of the Arab tribes in the peninsula, because simply by virtue of them living by the Kaaba, and they have things like Zamzam, and they are the people responsible for looking after the pilgrims and the Hajaj. And all of those things that we know concerning the accolades, the Kaaba, they can go inside and whenever they want, and all of that stuff that they have. But despite that, despite everything
that they have, there are people who used to have 360 odd idols in around the karma, that people used to make idols with their own hands and worship them. And then in times of drought and famine, they would eat those same idols, because they're made of dates, and barley and wheat. These are people who, despite that, that Providence if you like, despite having that amazing lineage that they come from, and all of those different things that Allah gave to them from blessings are people who sometimes will make the offer on the carbon naked, or allow it to happen anyway. And so these are people who have strayed so far from the path of monotheism of Ibrahim alayhis. Salam, how does that
happen? And this is one of the amazing lessons that we learn, I think, from the story. And that is that the way that that happens is through ignorance is through a lack of knowledge is when people feel a sense of entitlement. And they don't bother to learn or they can't be bothered to study and they call that the overtime lose it, you may not lose it, and I may not lose it by lost permission, maybe not even our children, or our grandchildren, but with the generation. And as time passes, it becomes diluted and weaker. We take it for granted, and more for granted. And then sooner or later, 2345 generations, people no longer understand it's important. People don't really know what's going
on anymore. And that is when Shakedown comes and he snatches and in grams and implants and he does what he does, and he leads people away from Allah subhanho wa Taala. These are the people who always despite them coming from his marinara he sent him over generations will tend to idol worship, and will turn to all sorts of manners of haram and evil that they did and allowed within their society, like the burial, burying children and all of that stuff that we know that the day before Islam and for the profits on allow it or sell them, even though despite all of that, why it shows therefore, the importance of not having that sense of entitlement. Yes, you're born as a Muslim. Yes, Allah
blessed you being by being born as a Muslim Oh by showing you the path of Islam, but that is
I mean you take it for granted doesn't mean just because your name's Mohammed or Ibrahim or Abdullah, whatever it may be. That it's something which you can take for granted. But it's something which you always ask Allah subhanaw taala to allow you to continue to have.
And the second verse, Allah subhanaw taala is on the next page alaris origin gives us another verse this time in Surah Al Iran and this is a more general verse that speaks about the the virtues of this profit or loss. panatela says in the last offer, Adam our new hammer Allah Ibrahima will Allah imraan Allah Allah mean, Indeed Allah has chosen and the word estafa means to choose. four or three of these for our profits, but all of them are from the family of prophets. So three of the four actual prophets of Allah, for all of them speak about the prophets of Allah subhanaw taala, or the Mary cinema, as we said, every one that comes from Adam is from his children. And then we have the family of Ibrahim, because there's not just one now, it's not just Ibrahim alayhis salam himself, but it is his family and his family includes himself, includes his sons, and includes his grandsons includes his great grandsons. Why? Because we have Ibrahim and then you have his half and
then we have our own. And then you have Yusuf Ali, who salatu salam, those are profits from one line after another one generation after another. But even after them, all of those other profits are will come from the descendants, as we said, of Abraham Ali is Salatu was Salam and the family of Emraan. And Imran is the mother of Miriam, who is the mother of sorry, Ron is the father of Miriam, who is the mother of three sorry.
Ron is also from therefore the descendants of his heart. And from Rahim, Allah Himself. So these are the people that Allah subhanaw taala chose in terms of their virtues. And the family of Ibrahim, therefore, is one that has an amazing position in this religion, because every prophet that we benefit from more or less every profit that we learn from every prophet who story resonates with us from Ibrahim and those that come after him. All of them come from the family, we brought him out, he said, Man, this verse Therefore shows us the meaning of the first one, but he makes to alpha woman. It shows you an important lesson that if you're sincere in your dua to Allah, and you ask Allah for
something, especially guidance, and for the benefits of the next life, and Allah knows your sincerity, Allah subhanaw taala grants it to you in a way that you can't expect. Ibrahim Alayhi Salam says Allah make my children watch us. And Allah subhanaw taala doesn't just fulfill his dwara but he fulfills it in the greatest of ways. And that is from the blessings that is from the mercy that Allah subhanaw taala gives to us that when you make to our to Allah, and you ask Allah for something with sincerity and with the man and worshiping Allah sincerely, what Allah gives you is not just what you asked for, but the best version of what you asked for. You asked for God children,
watch his children. But if you're sincere, Allah subhanaw taala won't just make them good, righteous, obedient children, he will make him the best versions and examples of that. Right? If you ask Allah subhanaw taala for good health or you ask Allah for knowledge or you ask Allah for whatever it is that you do so in a way that is God and Allah sees that there is good enough for you. Allah subhanaw taala gives it to you in a way that is best and that is because even though Allah subhanaw taala may give it to you and he may have tests and trials look at the brain and he said I'm when it makes us to I doesn't mean that the rest of his life is is free of trial. He has trials and
he has tests and he has to go through what he has to go through the sentence Merida Islam and all of those stories that inshallah we will have mentioned throughout the next day or so and tomorrow. Allah subhanaw taala doesn't mean doesn't mean that you don't have tests, but Allah subhanaw taala grants you what you ask for in the best possible way that you can expect and that is from the mercy of Allah subhana wa tada and so Allah azza wa jal praises the family of Ibrahim and his descendants and from them is the family of Emraan in verse number three,
or the third example that we have of this is the verse in Surah Nisa we shall las panatela says woman asks and Will dean amendment as
well who am I seen whatever I mean letter Ibrahim and Eva. What are the Allahu Ibrahima calida This is the verse in Surah Nisa,
Allah subhanaw taala. In this verse, He praises Ibrahim alayhis salam and he says that there can be no one better than the one who submits themself to Allah. Complete submission to Allah which is basically where the word Muslim comes from white Muslim. Some people say that it's rude word comes from the word peace, Sam, and that's possible as well, but also there is another root word and the two of them are linked also because they have a joint meaning because from the meaning of submission, resulting
gives you peace and from the ways of attaining peace in the peace is by submitting by submission. So last Panthera says that it is from the method of Ibrahim or in some form his methodology from his characteristics and traits and therefore for us to follow him on that he that you should submit to Allah complete submission to Allah means that everything that you do you do in the hope of attaining attaining and achieving or loss pleasure, whatever you do, you ask yourself, Is this something which pleases Allah or not? If yes, then you do it? If no, then you stay away. And that is literally in everything that you do, not just in the word rebirth. Why? Because that's something that you have to
do anyway, the obligatory stuff, stuff that you have to do anyway, this is stuff that's extra, even in the stuff that's not obligatory, that's recommended. There may even be just general permissible stuff. If by doing this, is it going to bring me closer to Allah? Or is there something better that I can do in its place? Yes, it's allowed on is permissible, but maybe there's something else that I can do which is even more pleasing to Allah. That is the level of submission that Ibrahim alayhis salaam has, and that's why when Allah says in Surah Baqarah is para la hora boo Aslam. When Allah commanded Ibrahim and said submit, Karla Islam to your blind me, he said, I have submitted to the
Lord of the worlds where who were emotional losses in this verse, and he does it to the best of his ability. He is someone who does it with excellence is not just someone who does something or law commands him to pray, he prays, but he doesn't really pay properly, or she doesn't really pray properly. Mohsin Hassan means that you do it to a level of excellence, a level of goodness, a level of trying to do it to the best of your ability, whatever I mean, let's say Ibrahim hanifa, and they follow the original Ibrahim or Islam. So Allah subhanaw taala revealed this verse according to that narration. And he said, and who can be better than the one who submits to Allah does God and follows the example of the Prophet Ibrahim and he said, um, and then Allah subhanaw taala says, what are the Allahu Ibrahima cadila meaning that it's not about simply claiming, sort of by just simply saying, I belong to this prophet? I am a Muslim My name is, this is what we often do. It is about proving that you are a Muslim, showing that you are a Muslim, not just simply by claiming it or by
virtue of name or birth, but by showing through your actions and your deeds, that you are a person of Islam. And then Alonzo tell mentions one of the greatest virtues of Ibrahim al Islam that is given to him. And that is what Taka Allahu Ibrahima Hadid and Allah, MIDI Brahim, his intimate close friend, and we will speak about social automata in a short while in more detail, but I think we will stop there for the first break

and he said I mean in the best equation was the Prophet Ibrahim alayhi salatu was Salam.
And from these verses and Hadith one of the benefits that we can take from them is some of the titles that are given to this Prophet Ibrahim alayhi salaatu wa Salaam so from the titles that we know that belong to primarily Islam is the reason why he is hurried the close friend of Allah subhanaw taala and from those titles, as we will come on to see inshallah Allah surely is what Allah has which are described him in the Quran has been acidic in the whole cannot see the economy you're extremely truthful when someone who is constantly and always truthful, and from those titles that we have is this title here and that is that he is the best of creation or one of the best of creation.
The meaning of this particular Hadith, Ibrahim Alayhi Salam is he will barrier. We know that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, as we mentioned before is the best of creation. But you have a number of these ahaadeeth write a number of these are how these in which the raffle Selim is saying, Don't say that about me. And he said, I'm Alabama No. Others mentioned that the reason for this is because the province Adam is showing his humility, his humbleness, sallAllahu, Alayhi, wasallam, especially if the one who's questioning him, or asking him or saying this to him, and someone who's saying it in a way that is siding, you know, like it's either showing off or he's saying with with, with that type of feeling of his Baron, and I'm making competition between the profits and having this competitive streak in nature, the profits
of Malawi will serve them, we'll put that to rest. Right. And that is a very important principle that even though someone want more, they might be saying is correct. What they're saying is actually correct. If it's going to lead to misunderstanding, or the intention behind it, or the manner in which you said is incorrect, you can still correct it. So the wording is fine. The what he said isn't incorrect. In fact, we know that it is something which is established from our religion, but perhaps it was the manner in which it was said, Why perhaps it's the intention or the misunderstanding, maybe there's people around, they misunderstand what is being said. And so the
Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam would establish these principles as he wants from Allah where it was set up with other things as well. So that is the first Hadith and so from the accolades from the virtues given to Ibrahim Alayhi Salam is that he is from the best of creation. In the second narration, this time in the hadith of Al Bari and Muslim, the Prophet told us that he was selling our lumen yuxiang lp Amati Brahim, the first person to be clothed on the day of judgment will be the Prophet Ibrahim alayhis salaam and this is referring to yamapi Yama, because we know on the Day of Judgment, when people will be resurrected from the graves. Everyone will be resurrected, naked,
bare footed and circumcised. That is what the prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam in the authentic hadith to the extent that I shall have the Allah one has said, O Messenger of Allah, how can the men and women be standing together naked, meaning that in the dunya, if this was to happen, it would be a place of fitna and a place which wouldn't be very good. The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam in reply. I'm aware of a moment either. The situation on the Day of Judgment is more grave than that. That's the last thing on anyone's mind. The terror and the fear that people will have will be so great on that day, as we know your major and we will done a Sheba law says that the youngest of
children, their hair will go white, the woman who is pregnant will miscarry and the people will look like they're in a state of drunkenness, even though they're not drunk. Why? Because of the terror of that day in the other biLlahi shadid. For indeed, the punishment of Allah is grave on that day. And so the terror that people will feel people will be naked. And so the first one to be clothed is the Prophet Ibrahim and he said, Now this is possible as even 100 Allah tala mentioned is possible that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam which excluded from that, and what it means is that the first person to be clothed, meaning from you, everyone else, not including himself, is the Prophet
Ibrahim alayhis salam. And it's possible that it includes the prophet of Sodom himself as well, because sometimes Allah azza wa jal may choose to give to certain people, virtues that he doesn't give to other people, despite those other people having a higher station. That's normal, right? So for example, we know that from the prophets companions on allawah, he was selling rhodiola one whom Abu Bakr radi Allahu Allah is the greatest of those companions. But despite that there are other companions who have certain virtues that aboubaker doesn't have rhodiola one, then the Prophet says on
rhodiola one, that if anyone wants to be a prophet after me, it would have been normal. That's an amazing virtue to have for our moral rhodiola. One, the prophet seldom said about us, ma'am, or the Allah one, that why should I be shy of a man that even the angels are shy from? Right, that's an amazing virtue to have. But despite those virtues that are specific to those individuals, and given to them, perhaps even at the exclusion of others, the general virtue, the general status, the general position of other companions may still be higher. And that is a principle that we should understand as well because otherwise it can be confusing. Why especially if we don't have these

who you go to. And many people perhaps maybe even many of us don't really have a holiday. We have many friends and we have people around us that we love and and are good for us and we help them and they help us and so on. But a holiday is the first person that you rely on the first person that you call the person that you intimately trust. something similar or to play their part in that role as well. That is hollein. That is hula. And so hula is of a higher level, someone that you're willing to sacrifice anything for. And that is what Ibrahim alayhis salam is willing to do for a larger origin, sacrifice anything, whatever Allah asks will be given no hesitation either. And that is what Abubakar, Allah one does as well, no hesitation. That's a key key component because, you know your friend is someone who has some people sometimes they'll be saying, sorry, I can't do it right for a valid reason. Not that they're being nasty or bad or whatever. No, I'm busy or I have other things. Oh, that's so that's a that's a
friend. But a Helene is someone who doesn't hesitate, someone who will sacrifice and change and, and and work around you because they know that your time of need. When you need something, then that is something which is important for that time in that place. So Allah azza wa jal made the prophets on holiday, and he made the Prophet Ibrahim Aris Rama Helene, and here's an important point that even Timmy Allah mentions that often when we're speaking about the prophets of Allah and we say that Ibrahim Alayhi Salam is the folly of Allah. But to say that as an accolade for the process and more as a virtue of him or a title for him, as opposed to the holy love Allah which is given to Ibrahim alayhis salam, and it's actually incorrect. Both of them are of Allah because had Habib of Allah being of a higher place. The Prophet Sunnah would have mentioned that in this Hadith, Allah made means Habib just as he made Abraham's Khalid, but he didn't say that he said Allah made me is Helene. Just as he made Ibrahim Alayhi Salam is hurried, which shows you that that is our higher level. So both of them are from the

And some of them do more than one and from them is the people of Ibrahim already said I'm the worship idols but they also worship the heavenly bodies. So when they brought him around, he Sam is looking at them. He said, it was possible that this is a God that is a God that has a God, but each one of them
after some time will disappear. Right The stars only remain during the night. The moon only remains during the night the sun only remains during the day. After that they are veiled and there is no way for the sun to turn up during the night or the moon to appear during the day, right in the middle of the day, or the stars to appear in the middle of the day. And so each one has its set. As we know obey Turner has a set place and time in terms of appearance. He doesn't actually say seriously, that the stars are my God, that the sun is the God that the moon is the god, he's not doing this as a process of elimination for his own personal benefit in order to arrive to the end result that a large soldier alone is worthy of worship. Rather, he's doing this as a way of debating his people to show them the error and the fallacy of his ways. And
that seems to be an Allah knows best in a stronger position that is doing this as mo Navara is doing this as a way of debating his people. Is that a person who is a Muslim that does not commit oppression and injustice, we all we all do. Right? We oppress people we do. We make mistakes we send we wrong people that's part of human nature. So messenger of Allah if guidance means that you can't do the to

And it shows you that those same issues of these people heard of old are the same things that many Muslims fall into today, and that is the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam his prophecy coming true and he said, that we are understanding among Kanaka Blackcomb you will follow in the footsteps of those who came before you. Just as they made mistakes, and they did
some of these things and they thought that it was okay. Then there will be from amongst the Muslims, those who do the same thing and again, the end, or the the main cause of all of this is a lack of knowledge and a lack of lack of studying your religion or knowing the rights of Allah subhanho wa Taala. If they're related to you, if they're people who are closer to you, right? It shows us also his sacrifice and what he is willing to suffer in return. And that's why even in our religion, and this isn't the place to go into this. But there are times when it is allowed for you to even back by to speak evil about someone else, why
there are certain times when that is allowed. And there are certain times when there is allowed for you tonight, and those are mentioned in the books of Adam and Eve tickets, but this isn't the time to go through that now. Allah subhanaw taala mentions in this passage of sort of Miriam, the beautiful way in which the Prophet Ibrahim or Islam speaks to his father and calls to him. And he says if collinear be here about him four times in this passage, the Prophet Ibrahim or Islam or refer to his father as Yeah, but he and others he means Oh my dear father. So when he calls to his father, he respects him, he honors him. He calls him in the most beautiful and loving of waves.

This realization that he shouldn't be worshipping these, these idols and these gods besides Allah subhana wa Tada. The first is Lima, taboo, man is now what are you pursue? And all of a sudden someone tells them that actually what you've been doing for the last 3040 years, goes against Islam goes against upon and and the teachings of the Sunnah of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam to accept that takes a level of courage, with a level of humiliation, a level of humbleness, to say, Actually, I did make a mistake, not just a small mistake, a mistake that I've been doing for decades, for half of my life. Right? And Allah subhanaw taala would forgive you for that. If you turn back to a large vigil, that is the simplicity of the
issue. But the acceptance of the issue is extremely difficult. But the person who's committing an innovation and an innovation
is when a person does an act of worship, that isn't allowed. It's not legislated. But they think that it is because they think that it is part of Islam. That is something which is valid, it's a valid practice and religion, part of the religion, then to change the concept is much harder, because they don't think they're doing something wrong in the first place, they already think that they're getting rewarded. And what they're doing is good to get them to understand the essence of this, that it is a trap of shapen is something which takes more work. And that is why it is harder to change those back and that is why the scholars have owned the self were extremely strict when it
came to be there. When it came to innovations in religion, they were so strict Why? Because with sins, people know what's wrong with innovations they don't. And once it spreads and becomes like Unfortunately, many of the ones that we have in our time. They're so embedded within the communities, that you extract them and to change them take so much time and effort and so much hard work.
And then the fourth thing that he mentions is that if you don't change your ways, then you will be punished. Doesn't matter who you are. Doesn't matter. Your relationship to me doesn't matter your position.
And the love that I hold for you, it will be punished. You can't there is nothing that I can do for you. It doesn't matter. You're my daughter, you my uncle, my auntie it doesn't matter who you are. I can do nothing for you without that statement and belief of La ilaha illa Allah, Muhammad Rasul Allah. And
that is exactly what Ibrahim alayhis salaam is saying to his father, that if you don't do this, the end result is of your punishment. But look at the response of Azul.
He doesn't debate him. He doesn't challenge him in anything that he said. He doesn't say Actually, no, you got that wrong. Why actually these idols can hear and they can see, he knows the plan. He knows. So he doesn't bother.
He doesn't bother challenging him. What does he do? The default response in the Quran in all of these types of situations is what? We're just going to find. We're going to hear you if you don't stop we're going to kill you. If you don't stop. We're going to exile you if you don't stop. We're going to punish you. So inshallah, in this final session, we're going to attempt to complete this first chapter and then inshallah possibly even move on to the second if we can. So before the break, we covered in this first section on the life of Ibrahim alayhi salatu salam and in his Dawa, his call to his father and his people, we cover the passages from Surah, Allah and Iman Surah marimon, we saw in sortland, I'm the way that is debating with his people, getting them to think getting them to prompt and hopefully come to the realization that what they're doing doesn't make logical sense level on the
level on them, claiming that it's something which is pleasing to Allah subhanaw taala or a form of worship, that will bring them closer to, to paradise or to or to some type of salvation. And the way that he also tries to prompt him to come to that same realization are worshipping Allah subhanaw taala. Long put in both instances, he is met with rejection, and not just simple or slight rejection, but a very severe a very harsh, painful rejection. And from the lessons of sacrifice that we see in the life of Ibrahim or Islam and the way
that he submits to Allah subhana wa tada is the way that he deals with that rejection. Because rejection is a very hard thing, or even everyday life you're rejected from a job, or interview or you rejected from maybe a marriage proposal or a business venture, whatever it may be, rejection is always hard, right? It takes a gives you a blow to your, to your confidence and so on.
But when it's rejection for the sake of Allah subhanaw taala, that act of rejection itself is an act of worship, you're coming closer to Allah subhanaw taala. By having that rejection, if the way that you deal with rejection is a way that is pleasing to Allah, subhana wa Tada. So Ibrahim Ali Salaam, when he is rejected by his father, he doesn't respond in a way that is evil. in a way that's disrespectful in a way that is hurtful, he doesn't stop swearing or abusing his father, because he's literally told him I want nothing to do with you, I've cut you off, leave me I never want to see you again. Most people will respond in that situation by lashing out by showing some of their own anger
by venting some of their own frustration. But instead he does the complete opposite. And he continues to show him even more goodness and want to make up for him and so on. Because the prophets of Allah subhanaw taala, all of them had a greater vision. And a greater vision is the vision of the alpha, they don't really care about the petty, you know, like problems that we have in the dunya and the and the miscommunications or the difference of opinion, wherever it may be that happened in the dunya. That's not something which matters to them as much as salvation in the next life. And so he is willing to bear with some of the questions that his father is showing if ultimately leads to his
guidance. And we see that the profits on the long run he was sent him did this many times. How many times was he patient with his people with Quraysh with the evil that he did in the oppression and the torture and the persecution in the hope that one day some of them will all of them would be guided, and Allah subhanaw taala fulfilled that dream of our profits on lower rd we'll send them as it comes to the Quraysh so Ibrahim Ali Islam is willing to do the same thing with his father willing to be extremely patient in the passage the third and final passage in this chapter in Surah, two MBR Allah subhanaw taala tells us the incident and now that actually takes place so we have is arguing
with his people, right speaking to them, his discussions with his father. Now this is the actual event that will lead to his his exile from his land. Allah subhanaw taala says well, Athena Ibrahima rushed the human Pablo, what could not be here early mean and we are certainly given to Ibrahim his sound judgment before and we will have him while knowing. And the question here is what does the before mean? What does it mean before he already had sound judgment? sound judgment, meaning that he had knowledge that he knew what was pleasing to Allah subhanaw taala he already had that knowledge before. He is given something what is it that is given before what because Allah doesn't mention
what it is before. He just says before some of the spells was a position that it's before prophet what

we sent to every nation of Prophet that commanded their people to worship Allah alone and stay away from false gods. And so every prophet of Allah had this and Ibrahim al Islam was the same. So it's not referring to his before Prophethood right, because some people say that passage of surah and when he's looking at the sun and the moon, the stars to please when he was a child, and as part of his, as we said, process of elimination and reaching the conclusion of worshiping Allah alone, but we said that that was a weaker opinion that actually is done in debating his people. And therefore more is mentioned here. When Allah says from before means even before these other prophets that
these, the Jews and the Christians and others venerated Ibrahim al Islam was already upon the path of towhead.

But at the same time, Allah subhanaw taala makes it very clear that they can also be wrong. That just because you respect someone doesn't mean obedience, there is a difference between the two. And sometimes we become confused. And we we declare Allah subhanaw taala to be above and free from any deficiencies and weaken subhanho wa Taala.

when the Prophet Solomon conquered the city of Mecca, one of the first things that he did, is he went and he destroyed all of the idols, by to show these people that actually a won't make a difference, because they will have a manual, new Muslim, and your whole life is idol worship, and the whole society and your family and everything, you know, centers around idolatry, then you will have some of those superstitions and beliefs even as a new Muslim, or if you're contemplating Islam, yeah, but if I accept a Muslim, maybe those Gods will come and harm me. Or, you know, if something happens to him, he's got some, some evil and harm will be for me or my family, whatever. And so the
Prophet sallallahu, alayhi wasallam, destroyed them all to show that they have nothing, they can harm the con to God, they are nothing. And so he destroyed them all. And that is why when the people of serif which are the people of bife, when they came towards the end of the life of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam when they accepted Islam, one of the things that they said to the prophet SAW Selim is as for our gods, and our idols will only accept Islam, if you leave them alone. The person who said No, leave him alone for a year. No, leave him alone for a month. No, okay. Just leave him alone, for sure. While the Prophet Sam said Why? They said, because we fear that if we
harm them, some harms, well, if you command us to destroy them, and we destroy them, some harm is going to be for them. The officer said him didn't give them a time limit. He said, Indeed, I will send someone who is you don't have to worry about it, I will get it done for you. But the problem didn't agree to even a month or a week or so because he's really embedding that same false belief that they have. These are new Muslims. The first thing that they need to do is dispel the, the understanding of how idols work.
