Qala, wala jihadu ki sabila Apa rasulallahu, alayhi wa sallam,
wala jahaduqillah, illa rajulan Khalid, respected Allah,
Akram, elders and beloved brothers In Islam,
as the days of Hajj
draw closer.
It is not possible
for one whose heart
is filled with the love of Allah and His Rasul sallallahu alayhi wa
seldom
to fail to ponder
over the great significance
of what the Hajj of Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam
entails.
In fact,
if one looks
into the Sira, into the life of Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa
sallam,
especially the period in Makkah mukarrama, prior to the Giza rats,
from the very onset of the Hajj journey, as the upod and the
delegations from the various parts of the World would descend on
Makkah, Makkah mukarrama,
tirelessly, Rasulullah, sallAllahu, alaihi salam, in
the plains of Meena,
would be going from tent to tent,
addressing the people, may you veni me and suruni hathawari
salatar, Rabbi,
that who is there that will Shelter me,
who is there that will assist me so that I may convey the Ri Salat,
the message of ALLAH SubhanA wa Taala unto humanity,
this command of Allah subhana wa Taala
to make the believe of Allah's Deen,
Allah Dalai says in the Quran, yayah Rasul Bell live, ma unzila,
ilaika, Ilam tapala, Kama balabhai, salata, Allahu ya asimu,
kaminana nas
that omaya Rasul
and Allama explained when the Rasul is addressed ummat also is
intended
that Oh my Rasul and his ummats Bal live, make tabliel of this,
DEEN wail, lamta, Pallav tarisalata.
And if you fail to do so, then you have failed to fulfill your
mission.
And naturally, when tabli will be made,
when one will engage in calling towards Allah, subhanho wa Taala
and prohibiting from the disobedience of Allah,
then difficulties, aggression, persecution, must occur,
as took place in the time of Rasulullah sallallahu sallam,
where one youngster says, I stood on the mountain of Abu KUBS,
and I looked down at the tents on the plains of Meena,
and I saw this person going from tent to tent.
Say, yaw NAS Kulu, La ilaha illAllah. Kuya. O People say, La
ilaha illallah, and you will be successful. What was the reaction
when tablig of Deen was made, he says swamin humman, tapalafi,
waji, wamin humman Khata, Ali hituram, wamin homb He says some
of the people spat in his face. Some of the people picked up sand
and flung it at him. This insulted him. This.
Swore at him. They cursed him. They cursed his parents. They
cursed his lineage. They beat him. Yet, he said, this individual
continued relentlessly, hattanta, Safa Nahar until half the day had
passed and the sun had reached its zenith, and he sat down in
exhaustion, and he says, I saw a young girl running towards him. In
her hand was a cloth. She started wiping the dust on his face, and
she was crying.
So he looked at her, and he said, la takshay, Allah, Abhik Raila, do
not fear. Allah. Will not disgrace your father. So he says, I asked
my father that, who is this person? And my father replied that
that is Muhammad bin Abdullah. That is Muhammad rasulallahu alayu
salam.
So before the Hijrah from the initial stages of Islam,
the days of Hajj were spent by Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa
sallam in Mina in this manner,
such aggression, such persecution,
the whole Arab world had turned against him, yet fearlessly, he
continued conveying the message of Allah. Why? Because Allah had
given the guarantee Walla Hu Ya se mukamin and NAS
that O Mahi Nabi make tablig of this Deen, and in your making
tablier, the world will turn against you. Difficulties and
hardships will come in front of you, but as long as you and your
ummat are making tablig of this. Deen Oh Allahu, ya asmin, Annas
Allah will protect you from humanity.
Qalama explained that Bismuth
The protection of this ummat from humanity, from persecution, from
hardship, from torture, from difficulty, from the enemies
gaining the upper hand over this ummat,
Allah Tala is taken upon Himself that He will protect this ummat as
long as this ummat is making Tablighi of Deen,
when this ummat will turn its back on the responsibility of Tabligh
of the message of Allah.
Then Allah explained the converse meaning of this verse of the Quran
is that the mantle of protection ismat, and protection from Allah
will be lifted away from this ummat.
And then the summat, according to that hadith, where as soon as
lalsalan prophesies, will become the morsels that the enemies of
the summat will chew up.
The point my respected brothers, is that every
year, as the days of Hajj draw closer,
the one whose heart is filled with the love of Rasulullah sallallahu,
alayhi wa sallam. It is impossible
that we fail to be reminded of the sabak and lesson as to what the
Mina and arapata Rasulullah sallallahu sallam was.
This Hajj is not a journey of only those who have proceeded to be
Allah,
like beautifully, the poet says, eleka kasdi, rabbal, vedi wall
Hijri, pankasuali fi *, wamari, Wafi kasay watat, Wafi VAMS
daliti.
The poet says
that the object of my journey is not the way to Allah. The
object of my journey is not SAE of Safa and Marwa. The object of my
journey is not musdalipha and Meena and arapada. The object of
my journey is not Madina munavara. The real object is you my Allah,
that my heart must be linked with you,
like Alama say SEL kublam in SEL, Abd abdan, then, more effective
and more important than the journey of the body is the journey
of the heart.
Come in Bali, in dibanihi in albeit, wakal buhu Mun qati on an
rabbil beit. How many there are that physically, bodily they have
reached the Beit Allah. The gaze is on Kaaba Allah. The gaze is on
the house of Allah, but their hearts are cut off from Allah.
Wakam in Kaid in tibeti, he Ara firashi wa Kal Bula, and how many
there are that are sitting at home who have not been able to
undertake the journey of Hajj?
They financially, they didn't have the means, whatever other
restrictions they were. They were unable to undertake the journey of
Hajj, but for one second their heart is not Raphael of Allah.
They have achieved more than that person who has proceeded to debate
Allah and has not understood the lesson of had their hearts are not
filled with the love of Allah, subhanho wa taala.
So this journey of Hajj coming back to the point that we are
making my respect.
Good Brothers,
this entire exercise of the Hajj does not only affect the Hadith,
but it is a reminder. It is an opportunity that is given to the
entire ummat of Rasulullah sallallahu, alayhi wa sallam every
year
to rebuild a Taal look in the link with Allah to make tawba Over the
past. That is why,
from the first of Hijjah, Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa
sallam addressed his Sahaba. And this virtue is not specific to the
Hadith. This virtue is for the entire Ummah, the Rasulullah,
sallAllahu, alayhi wa sallam, wherein he said mamin ayamin,
aavamo in the la ayuda Abdalla, mufiha min ashid al Hijjah. He
said, There are no days in the entire year in which Allah loves
your ibadah, in which Allah loves your exertion more than he loves
it. On the first 10 days of zill Hijjah,
to what extent has Allah opened the doors of his mercy, he said,
Ya lo Siya Mukul, Leo mim minhabi, siyami, Sana, waqi, ya Mukul
minha. Minhagil, Qadr, he said every day that you will fast in
the first 10 days of ZiL Hijjah, obviously excluding the 10th that
is the day of Eid, because on the day of Eid to fast is haram, not
permissible.
He said every day that you will fast on the first 10 days, that is
the first nine days of ZiL Hijjah, Allah will give you the reward as
if you fasted one year for each day and every night of these 10
nights that you will spend in ibadah, Wakiya, mukulla, minha,
vikiyami, laylatil Qadr, Allah will give you the reward as if you
stood in Ibadah On the night of Laylat lupad, on the night of
father
so merciful Allah, Tara is Anna has been malikadi Allahu taala,
and who, with reference to the first 10 days of the hija, you
would say the kulio me minha al quyom, every day of ibadah, Allah
will give you the reward as if you Made Ibadah for 1000 days, WA yo
mu Arafat Ashara to Allah AUM, and if you make ibadans On the day of
Arafat, Allah will give you the reward as if you spend 10,000 days
in Ibadan
mumini Aisha, radiAllahu anha,
she relates to Rasulullah sallallahu Sallam that there is
one youngster in Madina Munawwara. It is well known amongst the
people
that during the first 10 days of zelhija he would fast. So Nabi
salal Islam sent for this youngster, and he asked him
that mahamala, Kaala, Maa Sanaa, that why do you fast on these days
this youngster, Rasulullah, sallAllahu, sallam. And he said,
We Are we under Omni ya rasulallah in Naha, I am ul mashaall in Naha.
I am UL Hajj asallah And ya srivikani fi him. He said, Oh,
Nabhi of Allah. These are the days of Hajj.
These are the days of Hajj.
May my parents be sacrificed upon you. I fast in these days in the
hope that Allah Tala will include me in the dua of the hujaaj.
Allah Ali Salam looks at this youngster, and he says that OMA
umati, for every day that you will fast, in the first 10 days of ZiL
Hijjah, Allah will give you the reward, as if you freed 100
slaves, as if you slaughtered 100 camels, as if you gave 100 horses
in jihad in the path of Allah. And when the eighth of zill hilja will
come, Allah Tala will give you the reward. That is the day when the
people will proceed from Makkah to Meena. On that day, if you will
fast, Allah will give you the reward, as if you freed 1000
slaves, as if you slaughtered 1000 camels, as if you gave 1000 horses
in jihad in the path of Allah Tala. And then the Vishal Islam
says to him, and if you will, fast on the day of Arafat, Allah will
give you the reward as if you fasted for two years, one year
preceding, and the year that comes in front. In one Hadith, it comes
Allah will forgive your sins of two years if you will fast on the
day of Arafat.
So great is the reward in what Hadi salaam addresses his Sahaba
and he says mom in a Yamin Hadi Ilam Yani, Ayam al Ashar om AI
Sahabah, there are no days in the entire year when Allah loves.
To be worshiped more than he loves to be worshiped on the first 10
days of zilchidja, the Amal of these days are the greatest of our
mall.
Look at the question which Sahaba posed to the salah SallAllahu,
alayhi wa sallam, when he gives them this virtue.
From this we can understand the Mizrahi of Sahaba, the temperament
of Sahaba, the mindset of Sahaba, they said on Abhi of Allah, we can
understand, we can understand that Ibadan on these days are superior
to any other Amal. But what we cannot understand on Abhi of Allah
is, are you saying to us, wala Jihad Allah, that the Amal of the
first 10 days of ZiL hija are more virtuous than striving in the path
of Allah. Also,
why this question? Why didn't they say more virtuous than tahajjud,
or more virtuous than Tirath of Quran?
Because some of us, Misha and temperament have been brought on
this
that this is an ummat of dawat. This is an ummah that has to
strive in the part of Allah. This is an ummati of Nabi. Isallah
Islam is not one concern about his own Ibadan.
He is not one when the commands of Allah being broken around him,
when the fire of Jahannam is burning around him, that a frown
line would not come on his forehead. They had the example of
Rasulullah sallallahu Sallam in front of them. On one occasion,
Sahaba sitting by the member of Rasulullah sallallah sallam. It is
the day of Juma. They are waiting for NaVi salaam to come, for Salat
of Jumah.
A discussion starts. One Sahabi says, mahubali, Allah, amalaj. He
says, Allah, bless me with Islam. As far as I am concerned, there is
no Amal that is more virtuous than giving water to the Hajj. For the
rest of my life. I will make sure that this is the most important
Amal I will carry out another one. Says mahubali and Amala albad al
Islam, Illa and Aamer al Masjid Al haram. He says, What do you mean?
Giving water to the Hajjaj Allah gave me Islam. I will devote my
entire life to making Masjid Al haram, to making beit Allah Abad.
I will make Ibadan masjid for the rest of my life. For as I am
concerned, there is nothing more superior than that. A third Sahabi
hearing this conversation, he says, No, you are making a
mistake. No, you are making a mistake. Oh, my brothers, there is
nothing more virtuous than striving in the path of Allah.
Tala, this discussion, they had raised their voices. Omar Ali,
Allahu taala, who heard this, he became upset with him. Fazal ya
Rahu, ahmaud, illallahu, Taala Hu and he said, la Tarta kum in the
member I rasulallah sallam, don't raise your voices. By the member
of rasulallah. The Masjid is not a place to raise your voices.
Observe the sanctity of the masjid. And then he said, Why are
you arguing? After Juma salah, take your masala to Rasulullah
sallallahu, sallam. We have Nami Sala Islam with us. What is the
need to argue? He will guide us as to what is the most virtuous Amal
Jibril is sent
before they can go to Rasulullah sallallahu, sallam. Jibril is sent
with the verse of the Quran AJ al tum, sipaya, talhaaj. Why? Vai
Marat al Masjid Al haram, Taman, Aman Abila, he will Yamil akini wa
jahadafi, Sabil, Allah, Laing, Allah, Walla, hula, ya Dil om
Abhay mean jive, listen that Allah is saying. What is wrong with your
ummats? Are you regarding feeding, giving water, to the Hajj, to
drink, and the ibadah, the masjid, haram? Are you regarding these
Amal as greater than the Amal of that person who brought Iman on
Allah and strove in the way of Allah. La yasta Woo na in the law,
in the sight of Allah, it is not equal. It will never be equal. La,
yes ta una in the law, giving water to the hujaaj and the
ibadata must give a haram. Allah is saying will never be equal to
that person who will strive in the way of Allah Walla wa daali mean
and the one who will consider it to be equal, he is dalim. He is an
oppressor in the sight of Allah Tala. This is direct translation
of the verse of the Quran, and we can understand it when we
understand the Hajj of Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, when
he stood on the plains of Mina and Arafat. Every year, my respected
brothers, whether Allah has blessed us with Hajj, Allah has
kept us back, we are not deprived. The goal is Allah to be in Allah.
But every year, it is a requirement that the hearts of
this entire.
Ummat be linked to the Beit Allah during the period of Hajj. First
to be reminded, what was the Hajj journey of Rasulullah, sallAllahu,
alayhi wa sallam, what was the Mizrahi of that journey? What was
the spirit of that journey? What was the adab and etiquettes of
that journey? That is why, for the whole ummat from the first of ZiL
hija, the doors of Allah's mercy are open. Spend your days in
fasting, spend your night in Ibadan, what tahiel rasulallah
said excessively, make the zikr of Allah excessively say La Ilaha,
illallah, subhanAllah, Alhamdulillah, Allah wants you to
turn towards him to be reminded of what the Hajj of Rasulullah
sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was when he stood on the plains of
Meena and Arafat and he delivered his Wada, his Farewell Sermon,
farewell message to his entire ummats. And then at the end of
that sermon,
one question. Rasulullah, sallAllahu, Sallam puts referring
to the verse of the Quran. May Allah said, Yay, you are Rasul
balib, maulay, Kami, rabbik, wailam, Tarisa, oh my Nabi, make
up, leave of this. Deen,
oh my Saha, have I conveyed? Have I fulfilled the Haq of Talib? Have
I fulfilled the responsibility which Allah had placed upon my
shoulders, my respected brothers? Such was he is worried for the
Ummat,
no other tenant of Deen, not salah, not zakat, not Hajj, not
fasting. Did he ask this question? Oh, my ummah, did I fulfill the
heart of it
only this tenet, the blame
the mat said an object of lumber with
he is crying for five hours on Arafat for who was that kind?
It was not for that gathering that was there,
Wakulla and wag Allahu, Allah had already revealed to him, oh my
Nabi, all your Sahaba janatis. This is the word of Allah, all
your Sahaba janatis,
Sahabah had already been guaranteed Jannat, who
was he? Crying for help but love. Oh, my Sabbath have I conveyed?
They had in front of them like a kaleidoscope, that 23 years, how
his days were spent, how his nights were spent. They had in
front of them, how not a single storm was left concerned for the
hilaires of his ummah, where,
one month prior to the demise of rasulallah, Ummul, mumin, Ayesha,
radiAllahu anha is very little time and He is going to translate
she gives car buchareen,
how was the life of mine Nabi spent? How was his number would
spend one month prior to his demise? She says, Lamia Jo fun
Nabi Awani
was
salam Shivani, wainkana, a
key,
Lima, walapaki Lim in a Jew Lahu ya Rasul Allah nafzilab Tamina,
she says, 23 years of nabod, there was not one day that my Nabi had
sufficient food to fully stomach.
He never complained to anyone. He preferred hardship, he preferred
purbani. He preferred sacrifice. He preferred hunger over ease.
Why? Because Allah had kept the hirayat of his ummat in this
hardship and difficulty. She says, at times, I would see him for an
entire night tossing restlessly from side to side. He could not
sleep because of excessive hunger. Yet a night spent like that would
not stop him from fasting the next day. She says, If he wanted, if he
wanted, he could have asked Allah to turn the mountains of the world
into gold for him and Allah would have done it. Yet he preferred
this difficulty. He preferred this hardship. He preferred this
sacrifice.
Today, the spombit of that NaVi does not understand why he
sacrificed like that. What was that hardship for? What was that
fear?
Us for, what was the Quran for? Why was he presented in time?
Why did he fall unconscious in Ohad? Why? Why his daughters given
Salam?
Why did months pass upon his home and the store will not be led to
cook food also,
all this, years upon years, years upon years of Quran sacrifice was
with one upset, one object only. Said, Allah must give humanity. He
died.
That was his only cry, that was his only concern. And for death,
he gave everything
for dawat, rasulallah, sallAllahu, himself to such an extent that she
says, on occasion, I would pass my hand over his stomach and press
his stomach to try to alleviate the excessive hunger he was
experiencing. And I would cry, and I would say to him, Oh my beloved
Nabi, lessen your level of sacrifice. Increase your dunya,
you don't have to suffer like this. He would look at me, and he
would say, Ya Aisha, ya Aisha. O Aisha. Mali Walid, dunya, what is
there for me in this dunya, what is there for me in this dunya, O
Aisha, when my brothers from the previous umbdiya sacrifice for the
ummats, how can you ask me to lessen my level of sacrifice for
my ummats?
This cry, this concern, is what is meant by this question. Hal
beloved, have I conveyed what was he asking them that, oh, my
Sahaba, oh, my Sahaba, in this 23 years, I suffered more than
anybody in humanity. But was there any other suffering, any other
hardship, any other hunger, any other relative of mine that should
have been sorted. Was there something more that I could have
done for the hiatus of my Ummah that I failed to do with one
voice, beloved Ummah, WA Keshav, tal hum WA, Jaha, jihadi, they
said, only of Allah you have conveyed. You have fulfilled the
Haqq. It was nothing more than you could have done. And then he
uttered those timeless words
which Allah, forgive us, leave the rest of the Ummat even the 2
million that are standing on the plains of Meena and Arafat, failed
to realize what was the responsibility
which Navier Salam in his Hajj, handed over to his ummats when he
said FA Liu Bali Shahid Kumar say that even this hadith is amajiza,
the choice of words is amajiza is a miracle of Rasulullah,
sallAllahu, sallam. He didn't say FAL Yuval, little alim. He didn't
say that the Alim of my ummat must make Tabla. Because if he said
that, then the one who did not have the knowledge of Deen would
have said, I am exempt from tablier. He did not say that the
wealthy of my umbilical then the poor people would have said that I
cannot make Tabla. He said, Sally Uvalde, oh my ummah, whether you
are rich and poor poor, whether you are Arab or Roman, whether you
are black or white,
whether you have the means or you don't have the means, whether you
are educated or uneducated, every one of you that is present here
today know and understand that on The Vidar, on the farewell of your
Nabi from this world, on the farewell of your Nabi from this
he's handing over the responsibility of the belief to
you. Mentions after me, there will be no NaVi after this ummat, there
will be no ummah. The concern and the worry for the last person to
come before Qi Ahmad is upon my shoulders. I am handing over this
responsibility of Talib to my ummats, that madhima, that
gathering that was in front of him, 124,000
Sahaba ikaram. History bears witness. More than 90% of that
gathering died away from Mecca and Medina. They went to the four
corners of the world. They understood the cry and the pain
that was in the heart of Rasulullah sallallahu, alayhi wa
sallam, my respected brothers every year, this Sabbath, this
reminder, this muzakara, is coming in front of us. Understand our
responsibility. These are the days when the doors of Allah's mercy
are open, turn to Allah, knock the doors over this ummat has suffered
for too long. We need the protection of Allah. We need
Allah. We need Allah.
Help. The way to bring Allah's help is to make our day, the day
of Muhammad Sallallahu sallam, our night, the night of Muhammad
Sallallahu sallam, and our concern and our figure and our cry and our
pain that of Rasulullah sallallahu, alayhi wa sallam. This
is the message of Hajj, whether we proceed for Hajj or whether we
don't proceed for Hajj, let us take the Sabbath of the cry that
was there in the heart of Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa
sallam during his Hajj, may Allah.
