it lay
Salawat,
respected alumni, come
elders, Brothers and Sisters in Islam,
Allah subhanho wa Taala is favor, grace and mercy.
It is upon us
that ALLAH SubhanA wa Taala
has blessed many of us for
this opportunity
of carrying out
that great Iwata
upon which the very culmination and perfection of Deen took place,
Allah Ali mentioned
that through the Hajj,
The completion of Allah's Deen on this earth to place. That is why
we find that on the occasion of Hajj, the verse of the Quran was
revealed Ali Omar Akmal, dinakum wa atman to Alaikum, yamati wa
Ravi Tulla Kumu, Islam ADINA,
that it was an occasion of Hajj that Allah subhanahu wa mentioned
that today
I have completed your deen for you,
and
I have completed and perfected my favor and my bounty upon you for a
way to Islam Adina. And I have chosen Islam as your deen,
this journey of Hajj, if you look at the advices given
by the alamai Kiram and by our kabhi Rin and elders.
We find that, in fact, it is the exposition display primarily
of the lover of Allah, exhibiting his love and his search for Allah.
The
if you look in
the hadith of Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam,
the manner in which
Allah
has opened up
the doors of his mercy and forgiveness,
with regards to this occasion of Hajj,
Behati mentions
that anasuda, Allahu Taala used to say, with regards to the first 10
days of ZiL hija,
that every day, Yadi, lukulla, Yom in the AlTi om every day is
equivalent to 1000 Days. O yomo, Arafat, the asharati, alai, Yom
and the ibadaht of the day of Arafat is equivalent to 10,000
days of ibadahs.
Mayhati also mentions the hadith of rasulallah sallam,
when rasulallah Sallam equated the Amal
of the person performing Hajj during the days the Hamal, during
the 10 days of zirheja,
to that person who is making jihad in the part of Allah Tala. And not
just making jihad, but jihad in such a manner that every night he
is guarding
and every day he is spent in fasting,
a person who a Mujahid whose every day is in fasting and whose every
night is guarding in the path of Allah Tala, the reward that that
Mujahid gets
Allah Raso Sala Islam, said, a person performing Hajj during the
Ibadah of the first 10 days of ZiL Hijjah is getting the same reward.
On one occasion, if uma ra mentions that rasulallah sitting,
and two people came to him, and they said, on Abhi of Allah,
we have certain questions we want to
put to you. Allah Ali or Salam looked at them and he said
that, if you want, you can put forward your questions, and if you
want, I will inform you what your questions are.
So these people were very greatly surprised, and
they told him that Rana bhi of Allah tell us what are the
questions that we had in our hearts.
Allah Alam told them that you people want to know what is the
reward of a person who leaves his house and proceeds towards the be
Allah for Hajj? You
want to know what is the reward of the turakat of Salah that you will
meet after tawaf? You want to know what is the reward of the sahih
between Safa and Marwa? You want to know what is the reward of the
wuku of Arafat? You want to know what is the reward of culting the
shayateen. You want to know what is the reward of slaughtering the
animal of poor Mani you want to know what is the reward of
thereafter performing the Tawaf is yarad?
These people said Walla by the Qassam of that being who has sent
you with the truth. O Nabi of Allah, these definitely were the
questions that were there in our hearts
to this. Rasulallah responded, and he said, For in Naka Ida Faraj
nambatika, tamul Bait al haram, fala da una katuka, kufan wala tar
Pau ho ILA kuti, batla Kabi ah Hasan, ahtan kaviya, is that
a person leaves his house and he proceeds to the way to Allah,
every step he will take, every step he will take, one sin is
wiped away and one good deed is written down for this person.
Wambara Kata kabadka, it Mani Ismaili.
Thereafter he performs surakhas of Salah after tawaf Allah will give
him the reward of freeing a slave from the prajna Ismail Ali Salam
that is freeing an Arab slave,
Wamba upu, Wamba tawafwal, Marwa trae narapawa. Thereafter, he
proceeds for sahih between safar and marua Allah will give him the
reward as if he flees. 70 slaves,
one lava, Falaya sama I dunya, fayuba, he become malaikata,
ibadi, hawla ja uni, shotam, binkul if Ajin, Amir yarjuna,
janati, Oya paw fun ADA bhi Palo Kana, Haja
will
gather on the plains of Arafat.
This gathering on Arafat
is actually for those endowed with spiritual insight,
it is the final testimony and declaration of where the lover
completely throws himself on the doorstep of His Beloved.
On one occasion in Maka mukha Rama during the days of Hajj,
mashayik had gathered,
and the topic of discussion was what is true love of Allah.
So amongst them
was Junaid babudari ramali,
where that time was a youngster.
So various of the mashayi
Describe what is true love for Allah, and who is the Ashik of
Allah?
Then they looked at him and they sent vata, poor vihadaya Iraqi. He
was from Iraq.
Youngster. What is your view with regards to this
topic of discussion?
Father of Assad? And
he pondered over this,
and thereafter, his eyes glimmed over with cheers,
and he said, Abu Asmaa, Anna Sihi, WA mutha, silum, vidhi, Kira,
Rabbi, hi mun bi adai, hokuhi, naran, Elahi, vipal bihi, aara,
Pakal, Bahu, Anwar hebati. He was a Bahu, Minka si udah he one,
kasha, palahul, Jabbar, Min Astari, dai vihi, fainta, Kalama,
fahan Allah, wahi, nataka fahanilla, wain amila, Fabian
lain, Sakana from Allah fahuilah, wabillah, wama Allah,
He said, The ash,
the one who has handed himself over to Allah, Abu zahib, unanna
Sihi, is that person who has become completely oblivious of his
own desires.
He.
Lost even the perception or thought of himself.
Mutasalam, vizikri Rav behe, his heart is completely immersed in
the remembrance of Allah. He is firm upon fulfilling the commands
of Allah. And the focus of the gaze of his Allah is the focus of
the gaze of his heart is towards Allah.
Allah's awe, Allah's habit,
Allah's splendor,
Allah's Magnificence, has burned out every other love from his
heart,
and every other consideration and allegiance has come out of his
heart, besides the allegiance and reliance of Allah alone,
and he has drunk to his fill from the cup of Allah's love
and His connection and Taala with Allah is such that Allah has
revealed Himself to Him. Allah has revealed Himself to him from
behind the curtain of his concealment.
Now he has become Allah's. Allah has become his. And
the proof of this is that when he speaks now, it is with the
consciousness of Allah. When he carries out any action, it is
according to the Command of Allah. When he is in solitude, then his
heart is on Allah, so he belongs to Allah. His living is for Allah,
his dying is for Allah. His entire being is for Allah alone. When
they heard this description of what the aashik of ALLAH is on the
occasion of Hajj, then this mashayat Being each one burst into
tears, and they said, ma alaha, rabim, Mazi, there is nothing more
that can be said in this matter, besides what this youngster has
said,
This exhibition
of true love for Allah in reality, is supposed to occur on the plains
of Arafat. That
is why Allah explained. They say the whole year Arafat is desolate.
There is no one there. Even
with difficulty, you will even find a bird flying in Arafat. Yet
on that day, millions of people converge on this place.
Why? Because Allah wants you to be here on this day, that day Makkah
is empty also.
So they say that this converging itself on this desert ground or
piece of ground, there can be no other motivation besides the
desire of seeking Allah
and I have to be where my Allah wants me to be. So they say the
overriding message of Hajj is that when the person returns from hajj,
he returns with this frame of mind and this commitment of heart, that
after this journey of Hajj, I will do what my Allah wants me to do. I
will refrain from that my which My Allah wants me to refrain and I
will be where my Allah wants me
to be, wambah. Janabi Rasulullah sallallahu sallam said, coming
back to that hadith you were mentioning,
Allah descends to the first heaven
in a dissension which is in keeping with his greatness.
He addresses his Malaika. Abadi hawla, look at these slaves of
mine. Ja Uni shortham In Kul NIFA Ji Nami.
They have come to me with this heaven hare,
bodies laden with dust
from various deep and distant rabbis and path of this earth.
In fact, this cafe
and manner of Ahadi
that his body is full of dust,
his hair is disheveled, his clothing is moist with
perspiration.
That is an indication of a true love of Allah, where he has lost
concern for even his personal appearance
once rasulallah Ji, Abdul who is the
most virtuous *,
or what is the correct appearance and concept of a * Allah. AJ
Islam said Asha Shahid tafil, that person whose body is full of dust,
his hair is disheveled and his clothing is moist with
perspiration.
He was asked Ayu * Abdul,
which is the best hajj, he said, Al ajwa sad
that person in the explanation of the sadist is mentioned, Aju tekvi
Rajya,
Vaul Evi Raha, that his voice is real loudly. He
is not concerned.
And with those around him, he's shouting out the taqbir. And the
Takbir of Hajj is La baik Allahumma Lebe. And
we find, to a very large extent, that this great Sunnat, in fact,
what ulama is saying, is a shihar and symbol of Hajj, the LA Bay,
then, has come out of us to a very large extent.
And we find that people, even though they may be reciting the
Lebesgue, they
are doing it softly, or they are engaged in worldly talks.
He said, The best Hajj is where the voice is raised all the time
with the Lebe he said, mom in Muslim in you love being Illa
lovebaman. Anyamini. He wahan shimali, hi Min hajarin O shajarin
O Mother. Hata tan kata al AR min Hau Na, ILAHA Hau na.
He said in Muslim, when he shouts out the LA beige that everything
around him, the trees, the sand, the earth, till the furthest
corner of the globe, shouts out the LaVey because of the lave of
this hadith.
So this is the Shaar, the symbol of Hadi that a person loses
concern about his personal appearance. Even
Attar says Rasulullah sallallahu, alayhi wa sallam, when he
proceeded from Veera to Arafat, Allah rasoo Salaam was wearing a
simple garment. He said the value of it was not even four dirhams.
His clothing was absolutely simple. His appearance was
disheveled and thus laden. And he said, on the lips of Allah rasoo
Salaam was the DUA Allahumma, jaal Hu hajam mabula, mabrooran, laria
P wala Suma,
he said, Oh my Allah, make this a Hajj. Mabu.
Make this a Hajj. Mabroor,
in which there is no Riya,
in which there is no showing off, in which there is no desire for
pomp and pain.
Allah says that a great lesson is learned
from this dua, Rasulullah, sallAllahu, sallam.
They say the primary dua of a *, with regards to his Hajj,
should be that Allah Tala must make it a Hajj mabroor in
the Hadees, which I mentioned in the beginning, rasulallah San
said, Al Hajj al mabur Lay salahu Jaza, un il al Jannah,
that a Hajj mabroor.
This word mabroor comes from bir,
which literally means righteous, beautiful. Allah. Rasosala ISAM
said a righteous, a beautiful and an accepted Hadi, the only
recompense and return for it is that Jannah becomes vaji for the
Hadi.
Javi bin Abdullah Ali Allahu Taala Anhu was a narrator of this
hadith, immediately, he asked Rasulullah, sallAllahu, sallam,
Nabi of Allah, you have said, Jannat is wajib for a Hajj?
Mabroor, Wama birul Hajj, what is a mabrood Hajj? What is a
righteous Hajj? What is an accepted Hajj?
Normally, if we apply
our logic
and our perception to Islam and to Ibadan, then our reply would have
been a Hajj wherein the Hadi is always making tira out of Quran,
where in the * is always making tahajjud salah, wherein the Hadi
is always engaged in the zikr of Allah dala, where in the Hagi is
always engaged in Ibadan.
Definitely, this is important. In fact, its importance cannot be
overstated.
But there is a deeper
meaning,
and there is a greater requirement behind this entire exercise of
Hajj,
which, to a very large extent,
the realization, perception and importance of this has come out of
the moment.
All of my explained that if you look at the Shariat of Rasulullah,
sallAllahu, sallam,
they say 1/3 of the Shariat
pertains to acts of Ibadan. In fact, if you open the books of
fiqh, Islamic jurisprudence, if it is a five volume work, you will
find one or one and a half volume, kita Abu salah, kita, Abu som,
Kitab, zakat, etc,
more than 2/3
or three or three and above volumes of a five volume worth
will not be about salah som, etc.
It will be about teaching this.
Muslim how to interact and live with his fellow human being,
akhlaq in character
forms, Allah explained, they say, Muhammad, mahasarath, social
interaction, financial interaction, teaching us how to
live with our fellow human beings. Forms more than two thirds of the
Shariat of Rasulullah, sallAllahu, alayhi wa sallam, he said, mom in
Shayne,
P mizaan In Abdel, mumilio Kiyama mean Hassan.
He said, nothing, not salah, not zakat, not fasting, will be
heavier in the scale of deeds, of a moment on the day of judgment
than a clock in character.
Ask yourselves why
Allah Islam was Rahmatullah Alameen.
He was a mercy for the entire Alam. He in the present situation
in the world, only about 20% of the world population
have brought Iman a rasulallah,
yet his legacy of rahmat and mercy extended
beyond. The restrictions and constraints of time, race, creed,
color, nationality,
he was a mercy for the last person to come in any corner of the
globe. Right up till
20% of the world's population today have brought Iman of
rasulallah, sallAllahu, sallam.
The other 80% is not in the masjid.
The other 80% do not see your Salah. They do not see your zakat.
They do not even see your HUD. What do the other 80% see? What is
their exposure to the rahmat, to the legacy of rahmat and mercy of
Muhammad Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, their exposure
is to the akla and character of this believer, his financial
interaction, his social interaction, the manner in which
he conducted himself
when this akhlaq of Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was
imbibed in Sahaba ikaram lives. Then there was no need for lengthy
debates about the Haqqani of Islam.
There was no need for long speeches and exhortations inviting
towards Islam. The disbelievers used to see the physical
manifestation of Islam and the character of Rasulullah
sallallahu, alayhi wa sallam, exhibited in the lives of Sahara
Ilam. And they would come to them in Wu food and delegations, we
want to become like you.
Sahaba would say, kunu MIT become like us. And in flops, people
would enter into Islam.
The Sermon the Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam gave
on the Hajj al WADA is a clear elucidation of this point, which
we are making
a gathering the light of that will not be seen till qiyama, Nordic
seen before that.
And to bring the minds at the heart of Sahaba,
to awaken it
to the realization of the importance of the message that
Rasulullah sallallahu Sallam is going to deliver on this occasion.
He asked them, Aum inha
Ayu Shahid, hada
Ayu baladin, hada
O my Sahaba, tell me what day is this?
What month is this? What place is this?
All of I explained
that it is impossible to
ever have the idea
that the sulaweala Salafi doubted whether Sabha knew what day it
was, or what places was, or what mandate was.
They knew, yet he posed the question to them,
this is to bring their attention to a higher level, that what I am
about to tell you is very, very important.
And look at the response of Sahaba to these rhetorical, so called
rhetorical questions.
When he said, Allahu, Aram, 124,000
not one stood up and said only a lie. Know what day this is why? No
way I.
Them, Oh, I know what place this is.
This was the reality of iman, where they had handed themselves
over to Allah and His Rasul Salaam. In fact, Sahaba says the
sahabi says
that the reason that we did not respond to the questions despite
knowing the answers, is that we thought that Rasulullah sallallahu
Sallam wanted to change the name of the day.
He wanted to change the name of the place.
We were ready to accept whatever he said. If it were dead, he told
us it was nighttime. We were ready to accept that what our eyes and
our logic and our perception is telling us is a lie. But what
Allah and
then he said, Allah
in the diva Kum wala Kum wa rava Kum alekum, haram Swamy, kumhada
fi Shadi, kumhada, fibaladi. Kumhada,
he said, Listen, my Sahaba, the life honor, property and dignity
of a Muslim,
is haram. This word, haram in this context, means sacred.
The life just as Makkah is sacred, just as Mina and Arafat is sacred,
and just as Hajj is sacred, and just as Beth sacred, in the same
manner, the life, honor and dignity and property of a Muslim
is sacred.
A Muslim is one that when he opened his mouth,
then roses come out, not thorns.
When he extends his hand in a gesture towards another Muslim.
Then immediately that person understands that this is a gesture
of warmth. This is a gesture of gesture of affection. This is a
gesture of kindness. This is not a gesture which in any way poses a
threat to me.
When navies laughter was asked, manil Muslim, what is a Muslim? In
one way, I become What is Islam? He said, as Muslim woman, Salim,
Al Muslim, Moon, wapiri, wire means man Salim and Naat. Said,
a Muslim is that person who in any other Muslim, or when, a lot, when
humanity looks at this person immediately they are convinced
that this person, by his tongue or by his hand, in no way poses a
threat to me.
So when he was asked mama birl Haj,
what is a righteous Hajj?
Hajj al mahor, what is bir Hajj? What is mahroor? Hajj,
Allah, rasoo, sallAllahu, alayhi wa sallam, Abu reply. One is what
we would expect the reply to be, and one is what the reply which
Rasulullah sallallahu sank in reality gave, he said three
buchalam
ish Salam Wafi Hadith in as
he said, to feed others freely,
to speak kindly in an amicable fashion, to make salaam common
amongst you, to be a source of benefit to the others that are
with you. That is viral. Hajj kanarapool, al Biru Shay un lain,
wadhun Talib wa Kalam, layin al virushe In Hain he said, bir
righteousness of Hajji is a very simple thing,
and he reduced it. He explained its simplicity to two expressions.
He said, wajun talik, he said, to have a smiling face. Wakala mun
lay in and to speak softly and amicably with those that are with
you.
So even Juve Rahim
Allah was asked, Who
is the most virtuous *, he said, The one who controls his
tongue and the one who feeds others. That is the most virtuous
Hajj.
Ibn Rahim Allah. Two people came to him. They said,
O Shaykh, we are proceeding for Hajj.
We are proceeding for the journey of Hajj.
Give us advice that we can hold on to
what is very vital and important for this journey of Hajj.
He looked at them and he said two things.
He said, control your anger.
Control your.
Anger
and spent free upon others. That night, those two people saw Ibn
abula In the dream, and in the dream, they saw that he was
gifting them with true pearls and jewels.
Bohem ajali, Rahim Allah,
on one occasion,
one person
requested him to take on the journey of Hajj with him, a
wealthy businessman.
So at the first meeting
of the wealthy businessman and Bohem ajari,
they are about to proceed for Hajj.
Bohem ajali, Rahim Allah, he starts crying gujali, and
then he starts wailing loudly.
So this wealthy businessman gets irritated, and he thinks to
himself that this is going to be a very difficult journey for me.
This man is screaming and crying all the time.
The Aarti, why are you crying like this? He says, record to biharila
reshla to illallah,
he says, does not this journey of Hajj remind you of the journey
when you will have to present yourself in the court of Allah.
Nevertheless,
they proceeded for Hajj, and when they returned, the person that had
formed this companionship. He came first to the wealthy businessman,
and he said, How did you find your companion on this journey,
this aspect of luck and character,
if we look in the lives, in fact, Sahaba Rasulullah, sallAllahu,
alayhi wa sallam. It is mentioned that when anyone would request
them, if Naomi alone and others that we want to accompany you for
Hajj, they would say, I have one condition only.
If Naomi was asked, What is your condition? He said, I will only
let you accompany me on this journey if you will allow me to
make your khidmat,
then only you can accompany me on this journey of Hajj.
This we find in the lives of samadha, and we find this in the
lives of the Salafi, Salahi Ibrahim in Adam Rahul Allah,
clearly, would make the people sign and write down that you must
allow me to make your khidmat. Then only you can come with me in
Hajj.
One biased person. He proceeded
on the journey of had
anybody wanted to he would see anybody wanting to wash his
clothes. He would say, I made a condition with you. Give me those
clothes. I will wash it for you. If the animals needed to be
tended, he would tend them.
You wonder why becomes kalimanasum in ashalila? Rasulullah
returned
from
a
journey,
and he came to rasulallah, Talai Salam, praising so and so who was
with them on this journey?
And they said, Oh, NaVi of Allah,
we haven't seen anyone as good as this person. Always, he would be
in salah the whole night. Always he would be engaged in fasting in
Tirath, his tongue was always red to the zikr of Allah,
Allah, rasoo salari, hearing the scar guzari, he asked them,
mankana, yafi day,
while he was involved in All this Ibadan that you are talking about,
who would feed his animal
and who would put up the tent for him in order to free him so that
he can make so much.
They said, Allah, we would do this for him. Allah, alaihi salam said,
pakulukum, Minho, kamakala, sallallah sallam, he said, every
one of you, in Allah's eyes, is better than that person,
this person, the science person we were mentioning that incident,
who would make him mad of his satis on this journey, he passed
away on the same Journey, when they went forward to prepare his
Kapan. They found underneath his skin, between his skin and his
flesh, not on the surface. Underneath the skin, was written
the word mean Anil Jannah. This person is a Jannati.
When bohem Anjali returned and they went to this businessman,
wealthy person. How did you find your companion?
He said,
he
said
that a better person than mohim ajali. I've never.
In and then he goes on to describe why I considered him to be a
better person.
He says that he would spend more on me. He would spend freely while
he was a poor man and I am
a rich man.
He would make my
wife. He is a old man, and I am a youngster.
Wayatuli, Taman,
wahu Sai bunu Mufti. He would be fasting. I would not be in a state
of Rosa yet he would cook food and feed me on this journey of Hajj.
So they said you had complained about his crying before you
proceeded on this journey. He said, Allah called the love of
this man to overtake me to such an extent that even the love of his
crying is in my heart and I also learn to cry before Allah
and we both would cry so excessively that other people
seeing us crying, they would cry because of our crying.
It was this akhlaq and character that brought people closer to
Deen.
And in fact,
this the whole essence of this if you look at the khutbah of
Rasulullah sallallahu sallam,
which he delivered
on the occasion of hajatul Wada,
majority of the khutbah ulama explained, they say 90% of that of
the khutbah pertain to akhlaq in character, to instill these
qualities in the lives of his ummat, because this is not an
ummat
whose life and whose marl is confined to itself, but this is an
ummat that has to become a rahmat and a mercy for the entire
humanity as Muhammad, sallAllahu, alayhi wa Selam was a mercy for
the entire humanity.
Coming back to the riots,
unfortunately, I keep digressing,
the time is very limited. It is not my intention to go into a
detailed discussion of the Messiah of Hajj, just certain aspects with
regards to the spirit of Hajj,
Allahu alayhi wa sallam, he says, On this occasion, Allah Taala
descends to the first heaven,
and Then Allah Tala addresses his angels. Look at my slaves. They
have come to me from deep and distant divines, their haze
disheveled,
their bodies are full of dust,
yarjuna, janati, waya, kapuna, Adavi. They desire my Jannat and
they fear my adab, then Allah, addressing the gathering of
Arafat, Allah calls out to them, palokana, bukum, kadah,
Dilma, Ramal o ka qataril, matar o ke Zaba, Dil Bahar o gathering of
Arafat. O Hajar, it's if your sins be as many as the number of rain
droplets that have fallen from the heavens, or your sins be as many
as the grains of sand on this earth, O your sins be as many as
the form of the waves of the oceans. Forgive. Forgiven all your
sins.
Afiyam, auranglakum, waliman, shapaatum, Lahu, return back here,
return back from Arafat, return back from this journey of Hajj,
magpur and lakum, you are forgiven.
Not only are you forgiven those on whose behalf you will intercede.
They also are forgiven. Is mentioned in the
Hadith the DUA Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, where
you should say, Allahumma, walimanis, Allah, forgive the
Hadi. Allah, forgive the Hadi and forgive every person on whose
behalf
so blessed and honored they become in the sight of Allah, that is why
the poet says, Allah Habib,
Allah Habib, honey and lakumbi, jinail, khulud, Abu Asmaa, one.
Say to
the one who has gone for Hajj,
who has gone to the Bella, who has gone to the home of the beloved
Mubarak glading Street.
You of a gem that which will remain forever and ever.
Give us some of the water from which you have drunk. Make dua for
us. Also, remember asking your DUA also,
we are thirsty and you are drinking from the spring of Allah.
This is the pain of mercy, which Allah, Subhanahu wa Taala descends
on the Hajar.
But very, very important,
unfortunately, my respected brothers,
with regards to this concept of bir,
another very important point
which olamah remind us of,
which is
encapsulated in this hadith of Rasulullah sallam, when he said
tahaju agriniya um matili, tanazuhi
wa satu hum litija.
He said, The
time will come when the very wealthy the ruling classes of my
ummat will make this journey of Hajj a holiday or a tourism
expedition.
It is the month of December. Schools are closed. It is holiday
time. So instead of going to palace or London, let us go to
bethula holiday.
The middle classes will make this journey of Hajj and exercise in
business.
They will go to pick up business experience and business ideas.
The ulama
will perform hajj for the sake of for the sake of show and fame, so
and so. Shaykh made so many Hajj, and so means so and so Sheik made
so many Hajj.
And the poor classes will make hajj for the sake of begging. Ibn
amardi, Allahu taala, NAMA is to say, Alhaji Khalil war rukh Banu
katheel, that I can see that the Hadis are few and the travelers
are many. Shri Khadi Rajal used to say Alhaji Khalil war rukh Banu
keel, Mahat Kara May, Yama Lu Khayr Kal mall, he
would say that travelers are many, are few. How many people are doing
good deeds?
Look at his observation. How many people are doing good deeds, yet?
How few of them have sincerity and a class in what they are doing?
Sincerity of intention, all of our say a
class is like Iman
salah, zakat Hajj striving in the bath of Allah without Imaan will
never be accepted. Will never be countenance in the court of Allah
in exactly the same way all these Rama without a class will never be
accepted by Allah.
What makes Hajj so delicate
when it comes to intention,
is that a person Fajr Salah, he got up maybe to show his wife or
to show his children or to show his friend, or because he was
speaking somebody up, or one Alim who he honors was going to look
for him in a masjid. So that was his motivation for Paja salah.
Thereafter, he realizes there was no sincerity in what I did. So he
has a chance in zord Salah also, zoar also, there was no ikhlati.
He's got a chance in Asal. Asad also no isla. He has a chance in
Maghrib. Maghrib also No. Eklath. He has a chance in Isha. Isha also
no ikn tahan. He's got a chance in the first two rakats. No ikhlaq,
he can correct his intention in the second surakhan. Yet this Amal
of Hajj is first, once in a lifetime. Only
every other Hajj after the first Hajj will be Nafil Hajj.
That first Hajj is once only
if there is no class in sincerity, if the intention is not correct
the first time for the rest of his life, he'll never get the chance
again.
That is why it is so important that before the journey of hunts,
the intention be corrected.
A class is a very delicate thing, and it is impossible for true
sincerity to come, except that we beseech Allah and we beg Allah to
give us that sincerity.
Imagine what Kalim, the master himself gives
when he himself makes dua to Allah, Allahu, AJ.
Hajj free
of Riya.
Obviously,
there was no question of there being Riya in his Hajj, but this
is Tali for his ummathi of Muhammad is making the DUA, how
much more important it is for us,
one tired person. It is mentioned for years.
For years he made Hajj, walking Hajj.
One night, he is sleeping,
and his mother calls out. She says, My son fetch a glass of
water. For me,
he finds it very difficult.
He finds it very hard on his nerves
to get up and fetch the one glass of water for his mother,
and then, as is
the Sunnat and the manna of those whose hearts have been endowed
with spiritual enlightenment. He makes Mahasabha of his nerves, and
he starts questioning his nerves, that you found it easy to walk for
Hajj. For so many years,
you found it easy to walk from your house in Yemen, or wherever
it was to be Allah, and you are finding it difficult to get up
from your bed and fetch a glass of water. Navs tell me why. And when
he made Mahasabha, he found out that all those years I walked for
Hajj, people were praising me.
People were looking at me that this is a very quiet man, he tells
his nav that is why you found that easy. Here in the dead of night,
your mother wants a glass of water from you. There is no one to see
you fetching that water. This is why you are finding it difficult.
And he realizes that for all those years, he burst into tears, and he
realizes, for all those years, there is a doubt about whether his
Hajj would have been accepted by Allah, because his intention was
not correct,
he makes sheriqua Allah in His intention
really very respected. That is, we cannot overly stress or overly
empathize the importance of correcting our intention and all
the time being worried and concerned as to what is the
motivation behind this journey, another very important point
which all of I explain,
is the means for The journey of having
we have to ensure Allah
Islam said, Who
filled him for Nadal, a big allahuman, nada human, Adi Minas
wasadi laduka, de Duga halal, varahila Duka halal, waha Duka
mabroor vairu Mazur,
a person proceeds for the journey of Hajj with Halal earning
in his life, his live livelihood is acquired through Halal means.
He mounts his conveyance,
and then he shouts out, LaVey, allahummall Abe, Allah, I am
present. Allah. Am Present.
A caller from the heavens calls out,
welcome to you. It is honor and dignity for you. Your provisions
are halal.
Your conveyance is halal. Your earnings are halal. Your Hajj also
is accepted by Allah, and it is a righteous Hajj. Why is our Khala?
Javajulu Hajin bin napakatil khabita, another person proceeds
for the journey of Hajj with impure earning, with haram
earning,
not the occasion. There is no time to go into the details,
but this is very, very important
that we ensure that our earnings are halal as a sheik Rahman Jalali
in his fazaya, had you mentioned the rewired
that anyone who had usurped the rights of someone else
equivalent to half a cent, equivalent to half percent on the
day of judgment, He will have to pay with 700 accepted salah. May
I tell you why earlier, as a mutisa government, as I mentioned,
in his Bayan
the requesting that you serve the rights of others, made grievance
of others, or took the wealth of others. He will be raised up on
the day of judgment as a bankrupt person, his salah, his accepted
Ahmad, etc, will be given to the plaintiffs, who will lay a
complaint in the court of Allah.
Ibn rajarhambali Rahab Allah mentions the incident that on one
occasion, a kafkala proceeded for HUD
on the journey one of the people passed away. When he passed away,
they buried him. As they proceeded further, they remembered that we
had left one of the axes that were used to dig his grave. He forgot
it in the grave,
so they went back and they started digging the grave up again to take
out or to receive the ax
to the utter constellation and shock
when they dug his grave up, Allah, protect us, they found this
person's neck and his head wrapped around the blade of the ax.
When they saw this shocking sight, they filled the grave up again,
and when they went back to their locality, they made inquiries
about this person, and they discovered that he had done
someone down, and with the same money, he proceeded to perform
Hajj. This
is very, very important, prior to the journey of Hajj, if you have
done anybody down, if there is any doubt with our with regard to our
earning, it is absolutely imperative and important that we
take the necessary steps, with the advice of the Allah, to address
this wrong and to make maki and seek forgiveness from those people
whose right way of usurp
Allah. Rasoo salaried mentioned that a person who will unjustly
take a piece of land equivalent to one arm one hand span on the Day
of Judgment, this hand span of ground will be extended to a piece
of land equivalent to seven times the size of the Earth, and it will
be hung like a chain around his neck.
How are we going to bear or to lift such a burden on the Day of
Judgment.
That is why this journey of Khad, this tofiq which Allah has given
us, in fact, let us make it an excuse to address
this very vital issue with regards to our earnings or with regards to
usurping the rights of others. It's not part of the topic, but
I'm going to digress a little bit. One very important aspect which we
see becoming more and more common is delay with regards to the
distribution of inheritance and
usurping of the rights of the females, of the mothers and the
sisters, how many families they are, 2030, years have passed till
their estate has not been distributed. How many families
they are, the mothers and the sisters have been deprived of the
inheritance,
that money which was unjustly taken, never mind what was written
in the world. Islam does not recognize any will which is
contrary to the Command of Allah. Any one penny taken that was not
in conformance to the laws of inheritance is haram. Mani and we
can hold the beitullah. We can hold the Baitullah, the bhilaf of
the Kaaba, and make Tama before Allah of our wrongs, till we do
not take steps to make us mafi, from that sister, or from that
daughter, or from that female whose rights of inheritance we
have usurped, whose wealth we have usurped, till we don't get Her
mafi and take steps to pay back Allah. Will not accept the DUA
Allah, Allahu Ali is saying that, Oh, people, please fulfill the
rights of the inheritance of your females. I can see, I can see
people suffering in the cover because of failing to fulfill the
rights of inheritance,
so to ensure that the provisions for this journey are pure and
halal is absolutely essential and important always goes towards
ensuring that it is a Hajj of ROOR and accepted Hajj. The rewards are
very, very great.
Rewards are very, very great, but and discussions also can go on and
on.
The primary
factor,
which is absolutely essential, my respected brothers and sisters, is
that we have in front of us a mole we have in front of us, a model we
have in front of us an example. If I start from one end to the other
and start asking,
name me the South African cricket team, or name me the South African
rugby team,
or tell me about this so called idol of Persona.
Aji, perhaps many of us will be able to answer these questions.
This delegation, to a large extent, is the food that is
proceeding for hajave Allah,
again, if you have to change the frame of questioning and start
from one end that Masha Allah, this is your first Hajj, or Masha
Allah, this is your 10th Hajj. O mashaAllah, this is your 15th
Hajj. Tell me, when did Muhammad Sallallahu, Islam, start his
journey for Hajj? When he left Madina munawalla, what did he do?
Where was the first lady he went to thereafter? What happened on
his journey of HUD
explained rasulallah SallAllahu, alayhi wa sallam during his Hydra
Illa mashallah, there'll be very few of us who will be able to
reply and answer.
Why? Because the value of sunnah,
the value of the life of a sala Sala wa alay wa salam, to a large
extent, has come out of the Ummat, because the concern for Deen has
come out that Farewell Pilgrimage,
that Farewell Sermon, which we were mentioning earlier, is no
time to go into the details the entire DBS of it. But no Bayan on
Hajj,
or no discussion of Hajj could ever be complete without
mentioning the drug and the pain and the cry that was in the heart
of Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam as he stood before his
Sahaba in Mina and arapaha, when arapat arama explained for five
hours, Five hours crying before Allah for his ummat, he
delivers that famous Khutba, which we find emblazoned in Muslim homes
today under the title farewell chairman of the Prophet Muhammad.
Peace be upon him. SallAllahu, alayhi wa sallam.
Cry tears of blood when you walk in, gush into those homes, where
you will find that same sermon
in a beautiful flame directly over the shaitan box
emblazoned in the Muslim homes. Yet, what was the message behind
that sermon? What was the gut and the cry and the pain in the heart
of the salula? SallAllahu, alayhi wa sallam, when he stood in front
of his Sahaba and he began his
sermon saying, Asa, Allah talqani, Vada AMI hada in OMA, Sahaba,
after this year, I will be no more.
This was Wada. This was winning Pharaoh to his ummah, to
his Asmaa with the cry in the heart, not for them,
Wakulla Ward Allahu, Allah already revealed. Oh my NaVi, all your
Sahaba. Jannat is Quran is clear why the law will Hush now, every
Allah made the word of Jannat for him,
his cry on our father was not for that gathering
the pain in his heart after this year, I will be no more. What
about my ummah to come?
What about the last person before Kiyama to come?
His Jannat, his Janam, his salvation, whose cry, whose
concern is it? He delivers the fatwa, and thereafter one
question, Hal Balam, oh, my Sabah, have I conveyed on no other tenet
of the not salah, not zakat, not had, not fasting. Did he pose this
question? Have I fulfilled the Huck of him
only 1/10 that of thou art and Talib that
of which the Ummat today has reduced, has maligned, has
insulted the very life and the effort of his Nabi by regarding
Daoism Sabri to be the work or the identity of one Jamaat or group
organization.
Have I conveyed, have I made Sabriel? If there was any doubt,
if
there was any doubt
as to what was meant by that question of halwa,
then that doubt was removed by the response of Sahaba, who had in
front of them the life of Rasulullah, sallAllahu, alaihi
wasallam. I'm not going into detail. I was given time to 20
parts are complete in one or two minutes.
The point I want to mention my respected brothers and sisters
is, what is the meaning of this expression, halba love.
What does it mean? Have I fulfilled the Haqq?
Of these.
What if men is they saw they had in front of them, 23 years of
hunger, 23 years of persecution, 23 years of torture, 23 years of
hardship, 23
years wherein his daughters were given Talaq, wherein his
daughters, Zainab, piershwad Shahid, his uncle's body cut up
into pieces. His family members, their blood flowing in front of
his eyes. On occasion, stones tied to his stomach, to the stomach of
his Sahaba, children becoming orphan, women becoming widows in
front of him, qurbani upon qurbani upon qurbani upon qurbani. And
then he asked halbalan, what does it mean, O my Sahaba for the sake
of the Hidayat of my ummat? Was there some other hardship that I
should have endured that I did not endure?
Is there another stone that should have planted me. Is there another
love of my body from which the blood should have been spilled
that I one day, any stone that I left concerned one day, any
kurmani or sacrifice more than I could have given? One day, any
crying more, another drop of tear that I did not shed, tell me, have
I fulfilled the heart of this responsibility for my ummah. That
was the meaning of all beloved and Sabah. With one voice, they
explained what that expression meant when they said beloved says
visala, what they tell Amana, wajahattafi, Sabine, they said, on
the way of Allah, you have conveyed the message. You have
fulfilled ramanat. You strong in the path of Allah to his heart.
You have made the see heart of your ummah, Allah, umashad,
Allahu, Mashhad, Allahumma, Shad Allah. You be a witness Allah. You
be a witness Allah. You be a witness. And then that hadith or
my ummat, I fulfill the heart of the lead now tell me this
responsibility of the cry and concern and the pain for humanity
that is in saniyat, like ants who are treading towards Jahannam that
must be safe from Jahannam and going to Jannat, I have handed
this over to my ummat. Like salah is in order of Allah, and like
Zakat is in order of Allah, and like * is in order of Allah,
Walla, Allah is in order of Allah. The message of the Hajj, alas, the
spirit of the Hajj, alas, can never be attained. Can never be
attained until that * does not return with the spirit of the
kurmani of Mina. Does not return with a reminder of what rasulallah
did in Mina, 10 to 10, person to person, with it does not return
with the spirit of that which he gave in Arafat cannot be fulfilled
unless this Hadi says, Obey to the call of Muhammad sallallah.
Sallam, five return from there like Sabah. Return once on the one
hand with a clean slate. Allah is forgiven. You on the other hand
with the determination that I will make my day, the day of Muhammad
sallallah sallam, my night, the night of Muhammad sallallah
sallam, and my cry and concern, that message which rasulallah
sallallah sallam, that Amanat, and that trust which he placed on his
ummah, on the planes of Meena and Arafat, to such an extent that he
comes in one niwiat, He said, with regards to this responsibility of
tablig pala to sovidu wa Ji Yom al Qiyamah, do not become an
embarrassment to me on the day of judgment. Do not turn your back on
my cry and my pickle. May Allah accept each and every one of us,
those that are proceeding for Hajj, those that have already been
for Hajj, those who have near the intention to proceed. May Allah
accept each and every one of us, grant us sincerity, purify our
earnings, make the means and the conveyance which we carry out this
journey Correct. Let it be in a spirit that is pleasing to Allah.
And may Allah accept each and every one of us for the work of
rasulallah.
