Is
his favor.
His guidance still fit for him.
Allah has enabled us
to give this little time for this. Deen,
as we mentioned last night,
that we should try and go back with something.
What is very, very important
is we should try and increase
the sunnat Rasulullah in our lives,
the Sunnat is light,
and the more Noor, and the more light we bring in our lives,
the more the darkness will be disturbed.
One of the meanings of the hadith of rasulallah SallAllahu sallam,
when he said Kundu mauludini udwala fitra,
that every child is born on fitrah Salima
and the natural inclination to obey Allah Swaha Nova. One of
the meanings of that
is that intrinsically, by nature,
Allah Swaha Nova is placed
in the heart of every human being, in this Ruh, in the soul,
the desire, the inclination to search for Allah, and the way of
life of rasulallah. And
once a person acquires the Taal look,
a relationship with Allah.
It is said,
Kalima under kechiza,
this tall look with Allah, relationship with Allah,
recognition of Allah, love of Allah, malifat of Allah, etc. This
is something that is inside a person.
Kalima under kechiya, nazai,
you can't see that.
So what is the visible manifestation of our talaga,
Allah, of our love of Allah, maripat, of Allah, recognition of
Allah, they say the visible manifestation of that is Muhammad
Rasulullah.
Say, like the seed, you put a seed in the ground,
that seed, after little while, it dissolves,
breaks up into a million pieces. It disintegrates. It's not
visible, but the proof of the seed being existent is the tree that
comes in its place with the fruit and the vegetation, etc.
So these two things are interlinked. La ilaha, illallah,
Muhammad rasulallah. The more Laila ha illallah, the is, the
more Muhammad rasulallah will be visible and apparent in life of
the person.
And coming back to that hadiza Rasulullah, sallAllahu,
Islam, kullum, olu dillah, dual and fitrah, that the more we bring
our lives,
on the practical way of life of rasulallah,
then automatically, this roof, the soul that is in every human being
is crying out for this way of life.
And if he brings sunnah in our life, then the inner chain, inner
sukhoon, inner peace, inner itch. Binan Allah dala will give us that
you cannot find in anything in this world.
So a true love of rasulallah, sallAllahu, sallam, true
ummativna, Salam. This should be something that is part of his
life, always looking and in my dressing. What is the Sunnat of a
sunnah Islam in sleeping? What is the Sunnah Islam in eating? What
is the Sunnah Islam Islam and
the more sunnahs We bring in our lives, every the beauty of it is
that every, even mundane, normal practice of our life will get
reward for
no they say that when the nispath,
when the nispath of something changes, then the value also
changes.
Simple example is always given. They say, if you take a brick,
brick, in essence, is made up of sand that has been baked under
extreme heat, etc.
Now you take the brick
and you use it while building a toilet
automatically, the brick holds absolutely no real value. Now the
same brick, the same brick made of the same way. If you take it and
put it in the mehram of the masjid,
then immediately, in a person's heart, his attitude towards that
changes, whereas in essence, it's the same thing
made both made of sand that has been baked on the extreme heat
and.
What is the difference? They say the nisper, the link has changed
exactly the same way Olam, I explained. They say a person has
his two shoes in front of him. One is a person anyhow, puts his shoes
on left foot first, or whatever, without giving it any thought
whatsoever.
They say that that practice, or that act of his was one of
necessity. He doesn't really have much value.
You get another person who beforehand, before putting his
shoes on. He thinks in his heart that it was the Sunnah of
Rasulullah, sallAllahu, sallam. It was the director, because the
practice of Namibia Park, salary Salam, that he would put his right
shoe on first, then the left shoe,
keeping this intention in heart of practicing on sunnah, he puts his
right foot on, puts the right shoe on first, then the left shoe. All
of us say that this ordinary act of putting his shoe on becomes
more valuable than the seven heavens and the seven Earths put
together.
Why? Because the nispat has changed
so such is the value that Allah is kept in sunnah.
Of sunnah, one
incident is mentioned.
He said, One day, one valley of Allah was sitting, and when janasa
went past, four people were carrying this Janaza.
So he heard a voice in his heart telling him that uto get up and
join the Janaza of this Jannati.
So
he went
behind this Janaza.
Took part in the Janaza Sala.
After the janazah salah, he asked the people
that whose Janaza was this.
So they kept quiet. No one to tell him. He
became very perturbed
that, on the one hand,
he had received a directive in his heart that this is the Janaza of a
Janaki, and on the other hand, these people acquired. No one was
even telling whose Gen others is.
So he persisted.
So finally, they said that it is not good, it is not good to speak
ill of the deceased.
So they said, What? He asked them, What? What do you mean? Speak ill
of the deceased. This is not an
evil person. This is a great person. This is a janati.
This is this Janaza. Was a Janaza of a woman,
and that, in fact, she was a prostitute.
Lower than that, a woman cannot sink.
So now he is even more perturbed that this is a janaz of a
prostitute. On the other hand, I was told this is janaz of a
Jannati.
So he goes into murakaba
and
Allah dala inspires in his heart
that one day
this woman was relieving herself, making his tinja,
and she realized inadvertently that she is facing Qibla
and with the need in her heart that Allah Raso, sallAllahu,
alayhi wa sallam has taught us that when you relieve yourself, do
not face either your front or your back Qibla. She while sitting,
Takal up and turned in a direction away from Qibla. Allah Tala
liked this action so much. Allah Tala liked this action so much
that Allah Tala made him akkara.
And this person received that he will harm that this is the Janaza
of a janati. So we don't know
if you said there is no such thing as a minus Sunnat. There is no
such thing as a minus sunnat Imam Abu Dawud Rahmatullahi, very
famous incident mentioned about him also.
He knew several 100,000 ahadis by heart
his whole life. His whole life was in the khidmat of Deen.
His Abu Daoud Sharif is a very, very famous compilation of Hadith
which in almost every dharum in the world is taught.
His kitabs are extensively coated from
one day he was on the banks of the river. Somebody was going past in
a ship, and the person sneezed and said, Alhamdulillah.
He was unable to respond to that person because the distance was
too far. He heard the sneeze, Alhamdulillah, but by the time the
boat had moved
so very quickly, he found somebody who was prepared to take him out
to sea, abut
he paid that person a small charge to sit in his boat, two or three
dirhams or whatever it was, and that person took him closer to the
ship.
As he came closer to the ship, he didn't even know who had sneezed.
Just heard the person saying sneezing and saying Alhamdulillah.
As he got closer without shouting, he hear hammuk Allah,
in other words, the practice of the Sunnah, the rasulallah. He
said that if you hear someone sneezing and they say
Alhamdulillah, you must say yamukallah. So he shouted, your
Hamad Allah,
and all those that were present heard the voice call out from the
heavens that O Abu Dawud. O Abu Dawud, today, with your three
dirhams, you have bought your Jannat.
Today with your three dirhams, you have bought your Jannat.
And in the Shara commentary of this admirai, they say that so
much khidmat have been he made his whole life was devoted to Deen.
Yet it was this one practice, this one giving response to that
person's sizing that Allah subhanho wa Taala likes so much
that ALLAH SubhanA wa Taala made the decision of his Jannah.
So there is no such thing I respect his brothers as a minor
sunnats and a true a true lover of Rasulullah, sallAllahu, alaihi
wasallam. Is that person who will attempt, at all time to be an
embodiment of sunnat that person who will try and bring more and
more sunnah in his life.
There is much more detail to this inshallah. As we go on, we will
discuss in
one section from Imam Tini ramatilharis Shamal,
which discusses the importance of adhering to sunnah, which you will
read from now Inshallah,
significant. Over hearing to the Sunnah in the light of the Hadith
in his Mustad Rama, Imam Hakim, Rahim Allah is recorded the hadith
of Sayyidina Abu huray RadiAllahu Taala knew wherein Nabis Allah
alisham says that every one of his followers will enter Jannat except
the one who rejects him.
Sahaba inquired the meaning of rejection, whereupon rasulallah
said, the one who obeys me will enter Paradise, and the one who
disobeys me has rejected me, rejecting me will cause the person
to enter hellfire.
Note, a person who rejects the sunnah or deliberately forsakes,
it will enter hellfire. Thus the Sunnah of NaVi, salon Islam is the
key to paradise. Sayyidina, ilbad bin sariadi, Allahu taala, who
narrates NaVi, Sala Islam, said respectful prayers. Whenever the
name of NaVi salasla is taken, you should try and send to gurus. You
don't have to send you audibly, but
quietly, it is our lips should move. SallAllahu, alaihi, salam,
great, great reward and benefit in this. And in fact, Allah say that
in a based on that, Hadi said of Islam, Islam wherein he said, Al
Baki Luman, go kill Torin Nahu, wala Sally Ali, the misery person
is that person in whose presence My name is taken, and he does not
send durud on me. My person is that person in whose presence My
name is taken and he does not send durud on me. Based on that hadith,
Allah Akram written that in a Majlis wherein many, many times
the name of Nami SaaS was taken upon every person in that Majlis,
at least once to send guru Damas sulawesam is wajib. So it's very,
very important that we get into that
habit. Sienna, Ibadan, Saria Rita Lam narrates that the mishla Islam
said, cling firmly unto my sunnah in the Maja.
Imam tabarani, Rahim Allah is reported ya Hadees of Sayyidina,
Abu hurada, Allahu, taala, Anhu in his in his more Jamal OSAT,
wherein Nabis Sala Islam said, the person who holds on to my sunnah,
when my ummah is caught up in temptations of this world, will
receive the reward of 100 martyrs
note by reviving a sunnah that is no longer practiced upon or not
even regarded as a sunnah anymore, one will Inshallah, receive the
reward of 100 martyrs nowadays, marriages are generally not
contracted and performed according to the sunnah to the extent that
even People with religious backgrounds have abandoned the
Sunnah procedure. In this instance, a person who revives the
Sunnah will receive this great reward.
And here is to the Sunnah is a symbol of love for NaVi salaam
Sayyidina hanasa nila reports that NaVi salaam said
he who loves my sunnah truly loves me, and the one who loves me will
be with Me in Jannat. That is the proof of the love we have for
Rasul Asana is the extent of sunnah that is alive and prevalent
in our lives.
I find that this is the constant effort of bathil,
and the forces of bathil and the propaganda around us to distance
this ummat away from sunnat
under many, many guises that the certain practices of Rasulullah
not relevant to today.
These are contemporary times. That was the camel age. This is the
space age. Islam has to keep up with the times they were riding
camels that time. Now this car is being driven. So obviously the
same thing doesn't apply. Etc, etc, etc. We know what theory is.
The Orientalist purport
the true ashykh of Asmaa lastlam does not fall into these type of
traps,
but our devotion to rasulallah should be absolute.
Is sitting in the court of a king, and
while eating a morsel of food falls down, King is caught. He
picks up the morsel of food, cleans it, and eats it. His
companion extreme nudges him. Be careful. Observe the decorum of
where you are. You are in a palatial court. You pick your food
from the ground, cleaning it and eating it.
So the immediate retort of the sahabi was, what a through
question the Habibi le, haul I from a cow
that do you want me to abandon the sunnat of my beloved because of
these fools that are sitting here?
In other words,
what Hesiod or value do they have in front of the sunla Sal?
Absolutely no. Hesiod, absolutely no value.
So this should be our attitude, as far as possible, how to adhere to
the Sunnah of the Sunnah, sunnah.
Note adherence to the Sunnah is a symbol of true love for Nabhi
Salaam. Those who claim to be lovers of Nabhi salaam but fail to
adhere to the Sunnah are untrue in their claim.
Ignorance of the Sunnah is not a legitimate excuse, because a lover
is generally aware of the circumstances and conditions of
His Beloved, the great muhaddis, ignish, shihaba, zubari, Rahima
Allah relates that the Ulama amongst the Sahaba informed them
that diligently adhering to the Sunnah is the means of salvation.
So Indiana has been Malaika, allowed in the reports that the
VISTA is from, said, the person who displays indifference to my
sunnah has no relationship with me.
Those of us who have this attitude nowadays that it is only sunnah so
we can leave it out, should keep this Hadees of Bukhari, Sharif in
front of us, that the person who displays indifference to my sunnah
has no relationship with me.
Next chapter, who will accompany Nabee salaam Islam in Jannah, imam
tidmizi rahimala reports that say Dina Anna Swati alone in narrates
the Nabis salaam Islam said, the person who loves my sunnah loves
me, and the one who loves me will be with Me in Jannat, Jami,
abutimizi, Volume Two, page 96
Sayyidina, Hosea ta vinyamadi, Allahu tam narrates, in the bslam
said before the advent of qiyamat, a time will dawn on my ummah when
nothing will be dearer to them than one of three things, halal,
sustenance, associating with a friend who will provide comfort
for A person, or practicing on the Sunnah.
What this hadith means is that as gyama will come nearer, and as the
level of fitna and darkness in the world will increase, then these
three things will become so scarce that it will be very, very
difficult to find them. One is halal, sustenance
will become something that is scarce. We see day in, day out.
Example, the Riba system,
which has basically overtaken the economy of the entire world, is a
manifestation of the hadith of rasulallah said, at a time will
come that even if you are able to stay away from Riba, then the
smoke of riba will touch you
so common riba has become. Interest has become
whereas interest is disliked so much in Sharia,
the Mahomet, the Hadees, the visa said, One Dirham of Riba, one coin
of Riva carries a nahuat and a curse with it, worse than
committing Zina 36 times.
And yet, we find that nowadays, every direction we turn there's
some link or some association with Riva with interest you.
This is, actually, is the mujahada of this day and age, in our
earnings, in our livelihood, to stay away from anything that is
doubtful or anything that is not in conformance of the Sharia. So
going to these Hadees as Tiamat will come nearer, three things
will become very scarce. One is halal sustenance. The other is
associating with a friend who will provide comfort for you.
This portion of it is mentioned in another Harish, also in Tibet
Sharif.
More,
greater clarification is given of what is meant by this. When VISTAs
said, ukrima, rajulu, makha, navisa, said rehi.
He said that human relationships, relationships will be based on
MATLAB, that sincere
love or sincere consideration or concern for one another will have
come out of the moment each one
whatever relationship he has with another person will be based on
how much that person can benefit him,
not like they say in English, you scratch my back. I'll scratch
yours. So that will become the basis of relationships. You'll
smile at a person. If you can get something out of smiling with that
person, will help the person. But always, there'll be some hidden
motive or hidden desire behind trying to help the person I
am digressing, but this is what we find,
was the khususi special attribute of amdiyali Musala to Salam
that in most of the amdi Ali musalaat assalam that I mentioned
in the Quran,
we find that when they spoke to their people, this expression also
is there ma as Anu Kum, alayhi mean AJ in ajna ilahalla,
that I want nothing from you.
I want no payment,
either in cash or kind.
I don't want consideration also from you. I want everything from
Allah.
So to serve the makhlouk of Allah,
and the greatest service is to link a person to Allah, is to make
effort for the akhirath of a person, but to do it without any
hope or expectation of or even desire of remuneration from that
person. That is why, in those first few verses
that came down after Surah IRA,
first five verses of Ira came down. Thereafter, navisa was
informed that he is the NABI of Allah. Then immediately after
that, Surah Mudassir, suram muzam in the first few verses were
revealed wherein Allah dala outlined his effort. Ya kumpa And
then War of bhaktiya Varus, wala tam nun TAS tak se, wala Rabbi Ka
Fai, one of the expression there, wala tam nun TAS tak se, do not
expect any payment whatsoever from them.
This is the Shan of a Nabi, and a Shan of the one who will do the
work of a Nabi that there should be absolutely no desire whatsoever
for remuneration or consideration from anyone.
We have to learn to take from Allah, take from Allah and give to
the mahlok.
And this actually
is one of the signs of kyama that this will become very, very scarce
as kyama comes near
this.
What is mentioned
to find a friend to find a friend who, in his dealing with you is
sincere, genuinely. He desires your benefit. There is no other
motivation behind it whatsoever.
I remember once
Mohammad as from Nizamuddin,
one of our elders,
he says
that sometimes I noticed that when someone would caution me,
or someone would reprimand me,
or someone would point out some wrong that I was Doing,
ostensibly, the person was doing it for my Islam, for my for my
reformation, for my betterment.
But he says sometimes somebody pointed out something for my
reformation, and I felt
such in my heart, I used to feel such a rage that I want to bite
the person's head off to get angry rather than,
rather than accepting the advice of that person,
even though the person may be right, I felt a very negative
reaction myself.
And he says, Sometimes I notice that when somebody made my Isla,
or they pointed out that by you doing this or.
Wrong. Do this this way, do this that way. He
says, Sometimes I felt
as if I wanted to throw roses in front of that person. I felt
greatly indebted to that person,
even though that person may be scolding me.
He says, Once hazard jivannamal Hasan scolded me. He says, I felt
almost as in my urine will stop,
and I was full with so much of fear, and I felt so indebted to
him.
So he says, I went to him
and I asked him, the husband, why is it that sometimes somebody
reprimands you, or somebody makes a Isla, or somebody says, Why are
you doing this wrong? You're doing this right, and you want to kill
him. Now, I'm simplifying it in our language, and sometimes you
feel very indebted towards that person, and you take to heart what
he says,
what brings about these different reactions?
He says, yeh, Kehinde, Wale ke if class or Agne, ich, class for
moku. Fe, that the one who is making your Islam, the one who is
pointing out your wrong, your deficiency, your weakness, etc,
the reaction in you is dependent on the sincerity in that person.
Sometimes you want to put somebody right, because you've got some
motive. You
want to bring him down. You want to show you a superior.
Outwardly, you will appear as if you are very sincere. But inside
that hidden intention, they say, Dil dilpa asarkathi. Heart has
effect on the heart. The heart takes effect on the heart.
So this point that to find a person who will be a Muslim, to
find a person who will be a true friend to you, to find a person
who will truly guide you when you are making a mistake without
any worldly consideration whatsoever, will become very, very
rare and become very scarce you.
