The importance of productivity and fasting in achieving weight loss goals is emphasized in Islam. Improvements should be made in practicing the rules of Islam, such as learning the fruit of prayer and avoiding wasting time. Finding balance between emotions and behavior is crucial for optimal mental health. Improvements should also be made in planning for the month of december and avoiding wasting time.

So just mentioned I'm in harmony and you will find him there in shallow dialogue. So without any further ado, I'd like to invite Brother Mohammed for him to begin the session. The topic of which is how to spend a productive Ramadan brother Muhammad.

My beloved brothers and sisters, we began by praising Allah subhanho wa Taala The Lord of the worlds and we send peace and salutations upon the most beloved of us, the prophet of Allah, the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. And we would like at the beginning of this workshop to ask Allah subhana wa Taala to open our minds and hearts in order to absorb the sense of the Ramadan insha Allah, my beloved brothers and sisters, as you are aware, that Alhamdulillah we have been talking a lot, several other speakers May Allah Subhana Allah have blessed you know, bless them, and bless all of you for being a part of this in summit 2021 season two, well hamdulillah we have
perhaps got quite in detail, talking about each aspect of Ramadan. Well, our objective in sha Allah in this workshop is to ensure
to address this question, how to spend productive Ramadan.
Now, I'm sure my beloved brothers and sisters,
we are
probably you know, witnessing Ramadan every single year and Subhan Allah, what is really important for us this year, is to ensure that for sure, for sure, this Ramadan must be better, bigger, most productive than all the previous Ramadan insha Allah. For this objective, I'm here to facilitate you and to help myself as well, in order to dive in to the subject of productivity, how we can actually make our Ramadan, the most productive Ramadan Bismillah to Allah with the help and the permission of Allah subhanho wa Taala what is productivity at the beginning? productivity is that which you actually try to take the maximum output from the available resources. Now for instance, you have
Ramadan well, hamdulillah Ramadan is there for everyone, but I'm sure you would agree with me. If I say that not everyone, not everyone equally, rip out the benefit from Ramadan. They do not make use of this greatest opportunity, the significant event of the entire year equally perhaps some of them they take it to you know 50%
Some of them may take into you know, 70% 80% and some, unfortunately would not be able to reap any benefit May Allah subhanaw taala protect us and help us to be among those who take this beautiful and the blessed month at the max in sha Allah. So
let's set out the outcome of the course what are you going to actually achieve out of this course at the end of this course insha Allah number one for sure insha Allah you will be able to enrich your knowledge about various aspects particularly containing to the context of productivity in Ramadan insha Allah number two, definitely it will be an inspiration for myself in you be in the Allahu taala in order to ignite our interest and to ensure that we really, really make sense out of from Yvonne insha Allah, we will also be able to explore the areas of focus, because this is really important A lot of times, we actually fade out our focus and eventually we do not take advantage of
Ramadan. Therefore, in this workshop, we are going to have certain focus areas where in we will go one by one and try to explore and find out a way how we can make those areas of focus as a productive way insha Allah
also we will talk about ways to achieve productivity now, you know, what is you know, fasting you perhaps know what is Salah, you know what is put on you know, what is God and all sort of you know, ibadat you know all acts of worship and hamdulillah but we need to really know how to stimulate how to make sure that we you know use a way to make it most productive insha Allah in the light Allah so therefore, we will talk about certain ways to make our x you know, have a bada to Allah subhanaw taala in the most productive way, we didn't lie to Allah.
Eventually the objective that we need to always keep in mind in one liner in one liner objective, you know is to achieve Jana from Ramadan. This is the bottom line of our Ramadan because we know that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam he really inspired us and encouraged us that this is the month that you need to make use of and get Jana with it isn't Allah Allah. So our bottom line objective of Ramadan is to obviously gain Jenna and Jenna have the highest level jannatul for those insha Allah in the company of Muhammad Sallallahu Sallam witnessing the face of Allah subhanho wa Taala. So this is pretty much about the outcome of the workshop or the course insha Allah, Allahu
taala.
Before we actually delve into the subject, my beloved brothers and sisters, we really need to appreciate Islam as a whole, because Islam is a complete way of life, which actually gave us the opportunity and platforms and facilitate us in different ways. Starting from the fundamentals itself, starting from the Pillars of Islam itself, it actually programmed us and gave us the opportunity or roadmap and a direction in order to make our lives in the most productive way while we are on the earth. Insha Allah. So when we talk about the Pillars of Islam itself, it starts with the belief in Allah subhanaw taala with the continuous programming of Salah, and once a year the
continuous 30 days of programming and that is fasting once a year paying the Zika as a compulsory obligatory charity, also having a beautiful journey of Hajj. This is how Islam is formulated, fundamentally. So we really need to appreciate this blessing of Islam 100 Allah who has given us a complete way of life in order to grow and you know, gain success in dunya and in the our Hara insha Allah. So we start with a question my beloved brothers and my beloved sisters, we start with a question. How was your last Ramadan? And I really want all of us to take a few moments. Close your eyes, close your eyes and rewind your memories of Ramadan that you spend in 2020. Just close your
eyes for a few seconds and try to reflect and try to remember what have you done. Learn
Ramadan, how was your last Ramadan? How was your last Ramadan in terms of praying in terms of reciting the Quran in terms of, you know, voluntary acts in terms of all those acts of worship that you've done, just close your eyes and think about it. Remember, bring those memories now in front of you picture eyes it and try to really get into what have you done last Ramadan
when you've thought about it, then you have actually, you know, felt that perhaps there might be certain things that you really wanted to do. But you could not do. Maybe you have failed to plan itself or perhaps you have planned, but you have issues or challenges in executing those plants, perhaps there might be certain challenges that came in, we know. Most of us were were in lockdown, and Subhanallah few, it was highly productive. A few It was not that much. So it was different, isn't it? It was different Ramadan of our lifetime Subhan Allah and when hamdulillah this Ramadan, in terms of the situation environment and all things is pretty much better than the previous
Ramadan. So we need to ensure that this Ramadan should be outstanding and the most productive Ramadan of our lifetime. Insha Allah, before we actually get into, you know, really detail of Ramadan, let's have a very quick know how of what is Ramadan all about. We know it's the ninth month of the Islamic calendar we know for and was revealed in it, it's the it's the month of fasting, it's the amount of blessing, mercy and forgiveness. And that's why we don't want to lose this opportunity to be forgiven, it's the month to achieve Jana, as I said, it's a month in which Allah opens the doors of heaven and close the doors off, you know, *, and it's the month where the Shah team, the
bigger ones, they are chained Subhan Allah and in it, a lot of resides is extremely generous, he gives rewards, you know multiplied from 10 to 700 times Subhana Allah a night better than 1000 months lies in this very month. So this is pretty much you might be already aware of. But it's good to refresh and remind yourself so many blessings packaged together are there in Ramadan when hamdulillah
now key benefits of from Amman what are the key benefits now it's the month of Subhanallah training. It's a spiritual training. It's a psychological training. It's a physical training. It's the you know, internal training. It's a training of your heart Subhan Allah. So it's the amount of training that's the beauty of Ramadan that it comes once a year trains you so much so that you are good to go for the next 11 months panela it's the amount of preparation Allahu Akbar, it prepares your soul and body together Subhan Allah in order to be able to present yourself better. If death comes to you. It's the month of empowerment Allahu Akbar. It definitely empowers your faith. It definitely
empowers your Eman in Allah subhanho wa Taala in the Quran. That's why we see the people who are not very much closer to Allah, they get closer to Allah right in the month of Ramadan. So it's a month of empowerment, it's a month of programming, you see all around us to panela Muslims, as I said, who might be perhaps oblivious about Allah subhanho wa Taala they get closer to Allah subhanho wa Taala in one way or the other, we'll handle it, it's a month of servicing, we really need servicing because we have done a lot of sins, we have done a lot of mistakes, shortcomings, our our you know, our overwhelming in our lives. So we really need a month and Subhanallah it's such a strategic way
of rabada of, you know, of worships panela then it serves your soul, it serves your mind, it serves your body all together in order to make you a better you, Allahu Akbar. So these are some of the key benefits of Ramadan at the outset, my beloved brothers and sisters. Let's now get into the ways how we can actually spend a productive Ramadan number one, number one, everything starts with a near you and I have to make a new year now. Now, you and I have to make an intention now to make this Ramadan as the
Best from above of our lifetime. Make this near to Allah subhanho wa Taala that this should be my best Ramadan ever because we don't know. Perhaps this might be might be my last Ramadan. This might be my last fasting Allahu Akbar. So have this near to make the best in Ramadan and even if we were not able to do it Subhan Allah we will be rewarded based on our intentions on the Prophet salallahu alaihe salam he said in Nirmal Armando Binney, yet our actions are depend on our intention so make this Nia This is the near and this meal is only for Allah subhanho wa Taala. Not to impress anyone but to express your absolute gratitude to Allah boullier is to make Allah pleased. This is your near
to make this Ramadan, the best Ramadan ever insha Allah that's my Niam pray for witnessing and utilizing it. You know, we have been taught this drag lama boliviana Ramadan, Allah help us to reach out in the month of Ramadan help us to witness this great opportunity so that we may utilize it to the best of our abilities. Make this draft that's number way to make it productive insha Allah number three, nothing happens productively without a plan. I'm sure you all agree. So you as you plan as we all plan for our marriage, for our career for our events for our you know, you know, jobs for our parties, for our weddings, for our marriages for everything, we need to make the best plan,
meticulous plan in a very articulate way about Ramadan. You just can't afford to miss this, my beloved brothers and sisters, you just can't afford to miss out to check out the proper plan for Ramadan. And it may differ it may differ from person to person because everybody has their own schedule. Everybody has their own, you know, availabilities their, their own capacities. But the point is, the point is you and I need to make a plan. As we know, if you fail to plan you plan to fail, prepare, you know, obviously this is the greatest event of our year Subhan Allah the month of Ramadan, the greatest time of the entire year, we need to really, really prepare well and that's
what we are doing well hamdulillah and I really congratulate each one of you for being a part of this preparation of Ramadan well hamdulillah you need to program you need to really start igniting your you know, mental strings and start thinking what are you going to do submerge yourself in the, in the programming of righteousness, you know, start in visualizing, start imagining, you know, how beautiful the fast would be how beautiful your engagement of the Quran will be how beautiful those you know, moments will be with Allah subhanho wa Taala so start programming, prioritize, you know, you need to really prioritize your, you know, Ramadan over everything, you know, whether it's
shopping, whether it's anything that that comes on its way, make sure that you prepare you complete all sorts of other things before Ramadan, but when Ramadan begins, your priority is Ramadan, and to make the Ramadan, the most productive Ramadan, so prioritize yourself as well in sha Allah.
And then obviously you need to practice there is no point of planning without practice. Of course plan is the first step but then it's not the it's not the last step. You need to really practice what you plan insha Allah and then obviously start purifying yourself. Start forgiving people start asking Allah subhanaw taala to really forgive you to forgive your shortcomings to forgive your sin so that you are starting to purify and to present yourself in this beautiful and the pure blessed month of Ramadan. Insha Allah promote promote the beauties of Ramadan amongst your family tell them you know what we'll be witnessing Ramadan in just a few days in sha Allah Are you planning for it?
What are your you know goals of Ramadan inshallah start promoting, when you start talking about Ramadan on you know with others when you start sharing Ramadan with other Subhana Allah, you will be programming yourself as well. And this is the beauty of promoting, you know the message of Islam to others, you will be the first one to gain benefit out of it insha Allah and then obviously, the last is patience. You need to start building up patience because
all these things you will not be able to really achieve Well, if you don't have patience with you, so you and I need to start building the momentum of patience.
Insha Allah for the preparation of Ramadan inshallah, these are the 10 ways, how you can actually make and spend your Ramadan in the most productive way insha Allah, Allah, Allah,
my beloved brothers and sisters, obviously,
we need to,
as I said, we'll be talking about the focus areas. So a lot of times we get diluted, our focus is faded away in terms of what we need to do you know, how we need to do, what are the things that we need to keep in mind and all that stuff. So insha Allah, these are the 10 things that I've actually listed out for you in order to facilitate ourselves to make a clear roadmap of our right direction to execute our actions in sha Allah in the most productive manner B is nilai to Allah. So these are the 10 you know, focus areas for a productive Ramadan when hamdulillah and let's begin with one after the other. The first is relationship with the Quran, Salah like never before some like never
before remembrance of Allah subhanaw taala like never before repenting to Allah subhanho wa Taala again, like never before, and also to make sure that we make dua to Allah subhanaw taala like never before. We need to also understand that Subhan Allah,
engaging in Dawa in Ramadan is a beautiful way we'll talk about it, performing voluntary acts, what are those acts that we can actually, you know, perform during the month of Ramadan being Elijah Allah, abstaining yourselves from evils from wrong, immoral things insha Allah, we know also need to ensure What are those practical, you know, specific good deeds that we need to really focus on and and practice with the light Allah apart from what we have discussed in sha Allah. So let's move on in sha Allah with the first you know, focus area, having a strong relationship with the Quran we know Allah subhanahu wa taala clearly mentions in the Quran in Surah Al Baqarah surah number two is
number 185 shadow Ramadan under the EU Zilla fi Hello Quran houda linas verbena terminologia word for con. Ramadan is the month in which Allah Subhana Medina decided to send down the Quran and the purpose also being clearly outlined. And that is to guide mankind and to act as a criterion from right and wrong Subhan Allah so it is the month of Quran.
Ramadan is the month of the Quran. So we need to ensure that this is always there, top of our minds. In order to make this act this focus area most productive. We always need to be with the Quran in order to really make our Ramadan most productive. Meaning that when you are in, in in car, keep the Quran in your car. When you are at home obviously the Quran will be there with you but get close sit closer to the Quran. Let the Quran be your book of the month of the Ramadan it's definitely outside the month of Ramadan as well. But this is as we said, this is the programming, the more you do this in this month, most likely insha Allah you will be able to continue the entire life be in the light
and so Quran and you are on and you your relationship, your link, your connection with the Quran should be absolutely tight and how it can be tied by fulfilling these, you know, demands of the Quran insha Allah number one, you will never be able to appreciate this book if you don't believe in it, luck but you and I need to fundamentally believe that this is the glory score on the speech of Allah subhanaw taala the word of Allah have been reserved, meaning this is the best book on the face of the earth, there is no match, there is no equivalent speech better than the speech of Allah subhanaw taala This is should be the belief So you start with a belief and then obviously you recite
the way it should be recited. This is the month we know the millions and billions of Muslims Subhan Allah, they recited the Glorious Quran. So you need to really make this demand fulfilled by reciting the Quran. You need to understand that we have 10 you know, 30 Jews Subhan Allah, and we have almost 30 days of Ramadan. So if you divide one Jews a day making the recitation public
properly done. That's the best way insha Allah so you go slowly but surely you're able to inshallah complete the entire Quran in the month of Ramadan although it's not an obligation as such, but then is obviously obviously a blessing Subhan Allah to complete the entire recitation of the Quran in the month of Ramadan Bismillah to Allah and it should be decided properly with its you know, Muhammad with with the proper Tajweed and so on and so forth in sha Allah, and don't lose the understanding part of it, you will not be able to appreciate the message that Allah subhanaw taala is given, if you don't understand it, right. So try and make an effort, an extra effort, in fact, with the
understanding of the Quran for perhaps you may recite the Quran in the morning, and try to understand it in the evening, or perhaps the half Jews, you can probably, you know, probably recite in the morning with the understanding of the half Jews and then continue the remaining half in the evening or in the night whenever is convenient to you. But make sure try to you know, program your day, plan your day in a way that you don't miss a day without believing in it without reciting and understanding it. Of course,
there are there'll be certain portions that you can Allah Subhana Allah has given you the ability to memorize it, this the beautiful month, you have the opportunity, you have the environment, you have all sort of, you know, environments panela so this is the best way where you can actually start your journey of memorizing the Quran, even if little no problem started, started, you know, initiate inshallah, a lot of Syriza will definitely help you out as a lot of Malaysia he says, Well, levina jaha delphina Lana haidian en su Lana. We're in Allah, Allah I immerse in in a lot of Malaysia he says that if you strive in our ways, Allah will open up ways which you can never imagine. And Allah
is with the doers of good insha Allah, so reflect on it, you know, give certain portion even if it's five minutes, no problem. Five minutes a day reflect on the beauties of the Quran. Allahu Akbar, Allah. Allah is ISIS of Allah yet at the Brunello Quran, Allah Allah, Lubin, UK, follow her to the north reflect on the Quran or are the hearts are locked upon. So this is the book that is demanding us to reflect on it in which is scroll the pages just by reciting it No we shouldn't do that. We try to ponder over the you know, I art we need to really dive in to the reflection of the Quran and that's where you will feel and appreciate the beauties and the and the power of the Quran. Subhana
Allah also you need to judge by this is the Quran, which is not a theoretical book, it is the book that gives you the law of life roadmap of your life direction Subhanallah it's a criterion to judge right from wrong, how do you define what is right and wrong? It's true or aren't so it's the origin which is the criterion and for turn, as it is titled Subhan Allah so you need to make sure that you define a very clear roadmap that this is the Quran which in in its light, I need to actually judge my life but in the light Allah practice it obviously, this is the Quran which demands us to practice on it without you know, making you know exaggeration without making a reduction we need to practice
the way we ought to do so. Remind yourself by this is the Quran Allah subhanaw taala says in national Zilla vichara we're in Allahu Allah Hafiz zone. It is indeed the Quran which We have revealed. This is the reminder that we have revealed you know, Subhana Allah, this book is titled as a vicar, the reminder because as in son, we forget, we are bound to be forgetful. So this Quran will keep you reminding you know, it will keep you on track it will keep you or it will bring you back on track Subhan Allah so be with it in order to make this Ramadan the most productive Ramadan promoted you know, promote the message of the Quran with your of your family with your friends, share an eye
or with the with with people, and that's how you actually indulge yourself with the Quran. Bismillahi tala teach it to your children, teach it to your family, teach it to your loved ones, teach it to others, Subhan Allah, the prophets Islam he said the best one is the one who learns the Quran and teaches it to others. So these are the ways how we can actually make our relationship tight and strong with the Quran. So this Ramadan, this should be your focus area number one to be with the Quran insha Allah Bismillah Allah
Focus Area number two productive so Allah Subhana Allah, we know, a lot of ERISA sets up a system that actually invites our attention to make ourselves in line with Allah subhanho wa Taala to make ourselves always connected in some way or the other when Allah subhanaw taala. And the way a lot of is that gave us this pillar of Islam, Salah it actually makes us productive in a way that we can't even imagine Subhan Allah, that's the reason we need to make sure that making our Salah most productive you know before and after, during these other ways, and I'm sure Subhana Allah, we have gone in detail of making our salah and empowering our Salah making it more productive in our course
already well hamdulillah but in a way in a nutshell. If I were to actually sum up I would say keep five peace in your mind when it comes to productive Salah. This is the Riba which you often do Subhanallah every single day five times a day. In fact in Ramadan, you get engaged with Dharavi with Guillermo Lal with other novel Salah. So you need to make sure how you can actually make it productive number one program mentally Subhan Allah program yourself you know psychologically start connecting yourself with Allah subhanaw taala right at the time of Amazon itself at the time of avant so we know that the gap, the time gap is not much so Subhanallah the moment alone happens
that's the beginning of your programming for Salah that's the way how you can make Salah productive not at the time of a comma but at the time of oven. So that's number one p the to the second P is prepare prepare yourself dress it well. You know make proper will do define which surah you're going to recite when it's come to you know Subhanallah the her or Asad Salah define where you are going to pray for example, if you're taking a journey you need to know where you are going to stop for Salah you need to keep your Salah and other other works around the Salah, not the other way around Subhana Allah. The third piece is you need to ponder, try to understand what you're reciting in Salah that's
where you uplift your Eman and you make it more productive in the llahi to Allah also to have, you know, real performance and real focus that this is the appointment with Allah subhanho wa Taala you standing in front of the king of the king Subhan Allah so that itself gives you that momentum insha Allah and then the last P is planned for the next you should be eager enough to come back to Allah subhanaw taala because we definitely need this booster, this booster to immune ourselves spiritually Subhan Allah. So this is the focus area number two in sha Allah,
the focus area number three, my beloved brothers and sisters is productive fasting now Subhana Allah we know that fasting is the essential element in which a lot of Valensa you know, gave this this pillar of Islam fasting, as the obligation for all the Muslims who are able to insha Allah in the month of Ramadan. So obviously you have got a pillar of Islam and also and hamdulillah we have dealt with the subject of fasting in detail in our previous courses, when handler the benefit of reminding ourselves and to make sure that how we can actually make it productive. This is really very, very important, this bulk of the Muslims, they know what is fasting, you know, but they're really do not
connect well in terms of how they can make their productive, the fasting more productive in the light of Allah. So number one, obviously, as we know the definition of fasting is to abstain so is to abstain from eating and drinking and also to make sure that we abstain from everything that is displeasing to Allah subhanaw taala and to be with that which is pleasing to Allah subhanho wa Taala This is an obligation as a lot of briza He says, Oh you believe fasting is prescribed to you, as it was prescribed to the people who came before you. So that you may gain taqwa of Allah subhanho wa Taala. So my beloved brothers and sisters, this is something which is not optional, but it is an
obligation. Understand that for a mature Muslim, this is an obligation not not an option Subhana Allah. So this itself implies how important it is insha Allah and of course
One it is an obligation to it's the pillar of Islam. It's the foundation of Islam, without which there is no Islam of a person if a person is eligible, and he has all those criterias fulfilled, and still if he doesn't fast, then there is definitely, you know his, there is a lacking in his Islam because he's actually missing one pillar of Islam Subhan Allah, the true purpose of fasting should never ever be forgotten in our lives. And that is to gain taqwa of Allah subhanaw taala. so that we may gain dakwah consciousness, awareness, connectivity, the clear, you know, beauty in celebration of the fate of Allah subhanho wa Taala. So, this should never ever be lost because people may fast
but at the end of the day, if they do not gain taqwa, then the objective of fasting is not achieved. Allahu Akbar, may Allah subhanaw taala help us all to achieve the objective of fasting and that is taqwa of Allah Subhana huhtala the consciousness of loss handle and this requires a small tip right after breaking the fast.
Ask yourself this question is very powerful and important question. Have you gained taqwa of Allah subhanahu wa taala Have you really got what you have, you know, what you've been looking for, and that is stuck, whether or not if there is a lacking, immediately corrected, and make it better the next day. And that's the training. That's the programming that you need to keep continuing, making yourself better and better and better, until you reach the stage where you feel that yes, Alhamdulillah, as much as I remember, I did not do anything that is displeasing to Allah subhanaw taala let that moment be met by all of us be in Elahi to Allah. So my beloved brothers and sisters,
the true purpose of fasting must be made. Now we know that love fasting has so many virtues, we talked about it well, hamdulillah reward without a measure this the only did a lot of Malaysia stressed that this has a reward, which only Allah knows. So Subhana Allah, ready for the surprise of Han Allah, it's a means of achieving the love of Allah is it's the way how you can actually be forgiven. It's a special entrance to paradise Orion, it's the is the pillar that will actually intercede you on the day of judgment and help you and my insha Allah in the day of judgment to get Janab in Allahu taala. So fasting must be productively, you know, used and this productivity
loopholes are during the fasting, backbiting, envy, ego, you know, anger, all these sort of things, no wrong and illicit and you know, misbehaving and getting angry for no reasons and all sorts of evils, this will, you know, destroy your productivity. So you'll be aware, you'll be conscious, you'll be cautious as well. When you feel that there is a risk to your fasting this move will move away from situations and people who are there to ruin your and my fasting Subhanallah because we do not want to distort this beautiful pillar of Islam.
cm that is fasting in Ramadan insha Allah in any way possible. So we need to make sure that we fast in the most productive way Bismillah heeta Allah
My beloved brothers and sisters, focus area number four and after which we will take the question and answer session insha Allah, remember Allah subhanho wa Taala all the time Subhana Allah remembering a lot of boundaries is something which is so important because a lot of binaries a says, In the Quran, oh you believe remember Allah a lot. Now a lot means you have to be connected with Allah subhanho wa Taala because if we forget Allah, Allah will make forget ourselves. How? What do we mean, when Allah subhanaw taala will make ourselves forget about our own selves means that we will be absolutely heedless of making ourselves successful in this world and the Hereafter, Allahu
Akbar, what a destruction, what a failure.
We
need to understand that our success lies in the remembrance of Allah subhanho wa Taala and that's the productive way of looking at things. Subhan Allah Vikram
remembrance of Allah subhanaw taala there are so many ways, and Subhan Allah, those people who are productive in their approach, and they know the remembrance of Allah subhanaw taala is something which is to be which is to be done. And you don't need
any room for any excuse. For example, if a If a If a person or two people, all right, Person A is traveling from one place to another, it takes about 30 minutes for him to travel the other person, it takes the same, but when you ask the first person, how long does it take for you to travel to Europe, to your workplace from your home, he will say 30 minutes. And if you ask the same question to the other person, perhaps he may say that it may take, you know, for example, 500 is tougher for me to reach to my workplace. Why? Because in that 30 minutes, he was doing this stuff for a lot of stuff for a lot of stuff for law, so for him, for him, the count of the stock far is there, not the
30 minutes counts of heinola. So this is the perspective that we need to keep in mind when it comes for our remembrance of Allah subhanaw taala so remembering Allah subhanaw taala it actually expels the devil, it keeps him away. When you remember love and you're in the company of Allah, obviously you are away from shaitan that's number one, it weakens his plots, he will not be able to potentially trap you why because you are in the company of Allah subhanho wa Taala Allah subhanaw taala he says,
first Guney as guru, if you remember me, I will remember you so obviously, you want him to remember you. We all want a lot to remember us Subhana Allah meaning that he will listen to us he will do everything possible for us to pan aligned with whatever is good for us. Subhana Allah. So this is the demand that you remember Allah, Allah will remember you and we really need Allah to remember us. Subhan Allah, it's the command of Allah subhanaw taala to praise him a lot of he says, you know, you have to praise and glorify Allah subhanaw taala in the morning and the evening Allahu Akbar. And this is a way for you and I to get potentially equipped with productive you know, Ramadan, la Akbar.
And we know a lot of Buddha is kept the satisfaction in the remembrance of Allah subhanaw taala he says, Allah basically lie that my inner guru, the most productive way to gain satisfaction and serenity, peace in our hearts, is the vicar of Allah. No matter
who you are, no matter what you are, no matter where you are, when you remember a lot of irisa you are bound to gain Sakina in your life, inshallah, this is the offer of a lot of beleza. Are you ready to accept it? Is the question, Allah is always there to give, but are we there to receive it or not? Well, I'm sure that everyone who is here well, hamdulillah and we wish, we pray that every Muslim receives this, this essence so that they may make this Ramadan, the most productive Ramadan insha Allah, also my beloved brothers and sisters, productivity in Ramadan, through the remembrance of Allah also causes you to actually develop the true love of Allah subhanho wa Taala obviously,
when you love someone, you will do what you will remember, you will try to remember him right and who deserves more love than a lot of binaries. So we need to make sure we remember him a lot. And that's a that's a beauty in itself. So panela and that's the way how we can make ourselves our whole life most productive by the will and the mercy of Allah subhanho wa Taala so my beloved brothers and sisters, let's take a break for the q&a insha Allah, wherein you can ask questions on the things that we have discussed so far. We still have few more focus areas in order to you know, narrow down our a bad list and to understand how the dynamics how we can actually make those acts of worship
more productive be in the law E to Allah, over to you my brother,
Masha, Allah does aka lokalen I think all of our participants have been extremely focused on the presentation. We've received a few questions.
And I will take the first one from SR Farzana who asks a very important questions. He says, What is the meaning of being productive?
You know, technically what does it mean to be productive and in perspective of Ramadan, which you've been mentioning about
Right. So productivity in Ramadan or in the context of Ramadan is to make each and every act of yours more beneficial, more productive. We know for example we have you know Quran with us we have fasting with us we have Victor with us, we have the Toba and repentance and all sort of bothers with, but how we can actually make these as the more qualitative and the more quantitative insha Allah, this is the way how we have to understand productivities reaping out the benefits at the max that is what the Muslim productivity is when it comes to Ramadan. Insha Allah Alright, and the next question we have, which is one of the most common questions we receive with regards to especially
the new Muslims Subhana Allah, in their zeal to try and understand you know, how they can achieve the best or the most productive Ramadan? With regards to the Quran? Can you also recite the Translate read the translation and complete the translation in Ramadan? Or would you want to prioritize reciting the Arabic version or reciting it in Arabic?
Well as we need to be very clear that Quran is only Arabic, the translation is not the Quran itself. So the Quran, what you and I have is the Arabic only that is what is called as core on the text. The Arabic text is the Quran data is the word of Allah subhanaw taala and reciting it has a great significance. Although those people who are non Arabic speakers, they really need to understand and if they don't know the language of Arabic, then obviously they take the facility of the translation in order to understand the text, right? So the priority is obviously reciting the Quran and obviously supplement it with the translation in order to understand what your reading, right because
just by reciting alone will not actually give you the full offering what the Quran wants to offer. Rather, you need to actually make the text number one priority and not losing the translation in order to understand the Quran. So strategize your schedule in such a way that insha Allah, if you're reciting the entire Quran, are you planning to recite the entire Quran in Ramadan, make it or backitup or supplemented with the translation as well along with each surah or just however is convenient for you. So obviously, both are beneficial, you will be rewarded for both but Quran in itself has an exclusive blessing in it and not undermining the importance of understanding it
whether it's by translation or with tafsir insha Allah be in the light Allah
does aka lokalen we've got SR Fatma asking, How can we have a productive Ramadan while having exams to study for now that's a tough one.
Right now, the productivity in Ramadan should not be affected with any you know other engagement, not undermining the exam factor that you may have. When you actually have a strong intention sincere, you know a prayer that Oh Allah belleza Allah is aware of everything right. So you are trying to ask Allah subhanaw taala number one by making dua or Allah, there are exams that falls during Ramadan, let these exams do not in any way shape or form, you know, diminish my level of rabada to you in Ramadan and Subhana love and you actually make this do you are you have already sought the help from Allah subhanaw taala with strong belief that he is going to help you in sha
Allah. When you have this very well in in mind, obviously, you need to back it up with more efforts. Allah subhanaw taala it says learn tunnel burrata to ficou minmatar a boon you will never attain a bear righteousness goodness until you give up that which you love the most. So obviously a
lot of us if not all, a lot of us, we love to relax. We love to you know, be comfortable as much as we can. But then there are double responsibility that comes in as in your case where you have exam and you have Ramadan, you need to accelerate your selves more. You need to, you know, run an extra extra mile in order to make sure that your exams are also not compromised at the same time. You're a mother
Which is the greatest event of the entire year should not be affected. So it's all about, you know, technically how you plan and it all begins with the Duan. So make dua into June asking for the help to make and have a proper balance between both inshallah and I asked and I asked everyone to help you know to pray for for for her to make her Ramadan you know more productive and the exams also super succeeded in sha Allah
in sha Allah tala, amin, amin, sister Tara, and this is in a question that comes in every home, especially for the house the homemakers. So she asked How can a housewife manage between serving her husband children and elders in the family with our worshiping x leper on daycare, etc, which is more important for her the responsibility of being a housewife or being a pious Muslim? Right Subhan Allah Val before we get into this role, Allah subhanho wa Taala is absolutely aware of how your role is going to be. And the beauty of Islam is that it actually appreciates every role that you're playing. And we all are playing in our lives, beat up a homemaker, a husband, you know, a son or a
sibling or whoever. So what we need to understand, this is particularly for the homemakers is number one, make an intention that your time that you actually consume in cooking should actually be beneficial for you. in the sight of Allah subhanho wa Taala because you are actually doing doing for the sake of Allah, you know, Subhana Allah, every act of our can be really bad. If it's done to please Allah subhanaw taala has a lot of Blaser, he says, will in salatu wa know Suki wama Yahya wama Mati lillahi Rabbil alameen say my prayer, my sacrifice, my living and my dying are for Allah, the Lord of the world. So whether you're cooking, whether you're doing other homely engagements, as
long as your intention is to please Allah subhanaw taala at the end of the day, you will be rewarded, done deal. That's number one. Number two,
there is a tendency that in Ramadan, we cook a lot, so that should be tweaked, that should be tailor made in such a way that perhaps you may hire, you know, a servant, if you really want to have that happen, or if you cannot, then try to minimize the expectation that this needs definite cooperation from the entire family member, you know, Subhanallah and also to make sure that while you're doing your homely work, your tongue can be engaged in the vicar of Allah subhanaw taala that should not be you know, omitted Subhanallah there's a lot of time that you can actually spend in the vicar of Allah, there is law of time that you can actually listen to the Quran while you're cooking your
there is a lot of time that you can actually have yourself if you just plan it in that way, right. So, as homemakers, you can definitely take out benefit and you can actually get rewarded for that, but extravagant, you know, effort of making things which are really exorbitant, then that should be avoided meaning to moderately, you know, eat as well in during Ramadan to make it more productive, physically speaking in sha Allah, and that will help the entire household be in the light of Allah and brother hammer that, you know, I like to mention about, you know, what you just mentioned, which is perfectly fitting and make somebody really understand their responsibility balance that with the
responsibilities of the family and the elders because he specifically mentions about kids and elders. Now, I also believe, isn't it very important for the women folk to actually communicate this with their families prior to prior to entering into Ramadan? A lot of times it's all about the wrong expectations they build culturally we come from different backgrounds, certain cultures compel, you know, such things have happened, but I think the world is changing, people are really understanding each other much better now. I think the communication lines to be need to be opened a little bit too well. Absolutely. As I said, tell tell your family members that Ramadan is coming and sit together
and plan as a family plan that we are going to make our Ramadan as a family most productive, which means we are going to plan our schedules we are going to plan how we are going to you know you know minimize our expectations how we are going to live happily how we are going to go to Ravi together how we are going to actually plan you know certain time slots for the kids for the cooking for entire thing. So as you rightly said this has to be a team work together, everyone achieves more we in the light Allah inshallah, shall we take the last question and that's it if you want to take this question.
Are you want to keep this towards the end because I think we can keep it to the end inshallah so that we've covered the course we're done done inshallah tada then please proceed double hammer with a presentation sharp.
We are done with four focus areas. Let's move on to the focus area number five, repent and remember you are here and this is the month where you need to really really know that Allah subhanaw taala has opened the doors of Jannah and closed the doors of jahannam which means there is an open opportunity for every one of us to repent sincerely and get forgiven love luck, but then you have this mindset you will be able to achieve a lot more and this is all about productivity, you need to mentally be fit in terms of understanding that this is the Bonanza of the year. You know Subhanallah This is the Bonanza of of the entire year where a lot of Bonanza is given you an open offering of
forgiveness for every act that we actually do. Allah subhanaw taala forgives every single day every single night Subhan Allah Allah frees people from jahannam that means every night we have an opportunity to be forgiven luck but so this is should be your focus area that you must be forgiven. I must be forgiven. We all must be forgiven right in the month of Ramadan and we have to keep remembering and archera insha Allah. Obviously the first thing which we need to understand there are amazing benefits of making this the first people think that only when I do sin only when I commit mistake only when I dis obey Allah subhanaw taala I have to make a step far will know so far has a
beauty and much more benefits that we could even think Allahu Akbar, when you read surah to know surah number 71 number 10 to 12 a lot of binaries that told us and informed us that the beauty of istighfar is he is there to forgive us, because he's the Rob is the Lord of the words. And when you actually go back to your rub, repent to your rub, Allah will resign He will forgive you and open the doors of blessing for you. He will open the doors of blessing in terms of wealth in terms of children, in terms of rain in terms of anything that you like to have in your life, you will be able to get an spamela This is the reason Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam who was monsoon monsoon who
was innocent who didn't have whose past present in the future sins were forgiven, used to make us suffer from 70 to 100 times how much times should we be able to do Allahu Akbar, we should be eager enough to make Safar to make our whole Ramadan more productive and this needs to be properly planned. So for example, every Salah we need to ensure why we are coming from the masjid to Allah home make so far, you know, sisters, we're cooking or we're doing other homely works. You need to engage your tongue with stuffer and this is how we have to take out and let not a minute get wasted in anything other than what is more productive insha Allah
also we need to have strong hopes when we repent a lot of times we get so remorse we get so guilty about our own lives, our own situation, that we think our sins are now also Billa more bigger than the mercy of Allah is. This is, you know, a misconception no Subhan Allah, Allah as Mercy is far more beyond far more bigger, you know, really greater than the sins that we actually do. And that is the reason we need to have strong hopes when we actually ask Allah for a repentance, no matter how many times you sin, no matter how many mistakes you have done, no matter what kind of level of sin that you're done, you have to make sure that you repent with strong conviction. Also, don't worry
too much about your dunya as you know, our we belong to our Acura we don't belong here. People come people go. So their real end is an Acura. So we do not really need to bother much ourselves about this dunya and because of that, you know, because of the extreme bordering, extreme engagement of this dunya we tend to forget our era. That's the that's the worst deal. Allahu Akbar when you exchange your Akira with the dunya, which is Pauline, which is literal. This is absolutely you know, destruction. You know, absolute destruction love luck, but
also my beloved brothers and sisters, repentance reflects your belief that someone hi above is there to forgive you and me. So when you have a real
Relationship mod of rubber, and you get to a mindset that I need to go back to him and confess, express my mistakes and my sins and seek the repentance, pure repentance from Allah subhanaw taala. And every single day when I do that, I actually bring a Baraka, I actually uplift myself, and I basically transform myself daily while hamdulillah and then obviously, repentance and remembering Alaska is actually in real terms, making yourself preparation to meet a law as virgin law. You must we must have longing eagerness to meet Allah as a virgin, we must have that desire, that ambition, that that real, you know, feeling to meet Allah subhanho wa Taala there is nothing that is more
Beloved, that is more beautiful, that is more blessed than meeting Allah subhanho wa Taala So, when you repent, for the sins, for the crimes, for the wrongdoings for the disobedience, for the displeasing that you have done against Allah, you get purify yourself when you repent, you get purify yourself, and you basically remember an archera and you remember the moments that you really I really wish to spend witnessing a loss of Hannah Tyler's face, Allahu Akbar. So this is how you actually make yourself productive in Ramadan, be in the light of Allah, focus area number six, my beloved brothers and sisters do our
do our dial up a lot of bellezza anytime you don't need any cost, you don't need any time you don't need any barrier. You don't need anything love.
Allah, Allah is is there to actually listen to any time from anyone from anywhere. Allahu Akbar. So dial up a lot of his anytime you need to understand Ramadan is a beautiful month, that gives us the the environment to build ourselves up to ask a lot of money is I'm going to ask this to myself and to all of you, my beloved brothers and sisters. When was the last time that you raised your hands and asked Allah, Rob Bella is when was it? And how long was it? Was it two minutes? Five minutes? 10 minutes? 30 minutes? An hour? I don't think so. Many of us we do. So this is what the opportunity is Ramadan, where you have Subhan Allah time to make due to a lot of binaries. And this is the command
of a lot of binaries. A lot of Billerica, he says are the only study Blackcomb
asked,
asked me and I will respond you. Allah says you ask me and I'll respond you. So what else you need to parallel? Is there to give you? Are you ready to take it? This is the question Subhanallah do I we know it's a veteran of a believer. It's something which can actually give you strength, love. And it's a battle in itself. The Prophet salallahu alaihe salam, he says a duar will everybody da is itself a worship so Subhan Allah, look at the mercy of Allah, you are making dua for something that you need. So Allah subhanho wa Taala is giving you that on top of it, he's giving you a reward for asking as well. Isn't it a mercy of Allah Billerica? Yes, indeed, it develops strong in direct
connection at every moment, you know, a lot of exercises if my servants asked me tell them I am near to them. When they respond, I when they ask I respond to them. So let them obey me. So that they may be on the right path, Allahu Akbar. So Allah is always they're always there to respond to us in sha Allah, this is the month where we program and gear up ourselves in the best way possible to make dua anytime to a lot of laser make it with conviction and recommended timings you know you need to understand when a lot of it is you know, Allah listens every time but Allah gives certain times certain places certain situations that are more recommended that are more preferred when you ask
Allah will give in sha Allah. So you need to know that reflect our slavery towards our master Allahu Akbar. You when you ask when I asked, we need to ask as a burger beggar
literally, literally we are De Fuca Allah says Allah Honey, you were untung vokera. Allah is guanine. He is rich, extremely rich, independent. In we are the beggars. We are the people who need Allah, Allah doesn't need us. So why don't we ask Allah and we need to ask a lot with a lot of humility, showing up our needs, showing up anything and everything that we require Subhan Allah, so dial up Allah, any time is something which can be absolutely productive, right in the month of Ramadan. Insha Allah, my beloved brothers and sisters, let's see some of the hard times to make Dwyer's in order to have that temple build up in sha Allah do are in the depths of the night, we
know a lot of it is a comes down in the lower part of the heaven, and asks gives us offer who is there who needs something I will give, I will grant it, who wants forgiveness, I will forgive. So this is the deal, every single light that comes to you. This is the offering every single light
on an hour of Friday, right, this is the hour where a lot of malaria accepts our drugs, and Laila to other as well. This is perfect moment to ask Allah do I between Amazon and karma? Do I during the time of fasting and at the time of breaking the fast as well? is the most productive timing to make dua to Allah subhanho wa Taala do I when frustrating and during the stress during the you know, distress times Subhanallah when you are in sujood You are the closest to Allah Who is your closest to your master? Then ask, ask you what you want to ask in sha Allah, whatever situation that you're going through in the distress times, a lot of Melissa answers your duar as well. Well hamdulillah so
you need to make your your your draft productive, you need to make sure you need to know these slots, and there are so many others as well. This is where we know we need to understand explore the areas where you can actually and I can actually be more productive in the lightoller
focus area number seven opportunity to engage in
Dawa in ramadan ramadan is an opportunity, believe me, my beloved brothers and sisters. It's an opportunity for you and I to get engaged in Dawa and we can be engaged in Dawa right from practicing yourself when you fast obviously the non Muslims around will ask you you know are you fasting so you get an opportunity or open deal to start conversation with your colleagues with your you know, neighbors with your friends or with others as well to open up and tell them what really is fasting and that's where basically you can actually open up for your for your dog drumazon is an opportunity where you can do a lot of social work you can get engaged in certain things which can actually
invite the non Muslims attention to get a great character of yours in the month of Ramadan Al Hamdulillah in an interactive way as well when you actually get engaged in a dialogue with others who are not yet Muslims, they will have an opportunity to know about Islam insha Allah through the social networking as well you can pop out you know release one you know you know reminder about Ramadan so that others who are not yet Muslims they know what a you know Rama what is Ramadan? Why do Muslims fast what is a great deal about Ramadan? What is the significant aspect of Ramadan and so on and so forth. Insha Allah share certain authentic genuine videos or articles that you may have
with others to let them know that you know what? Ramadan is approaching you as a non Muslim perhaps you have colleagues you have neighbors, you have friends who are Muslims, you may really need to understand what do we believe about Ramadan, you can share a video or an audio or an article with them as well. They may be certain people who may conduct public talks to give them the message of Ramadan What is it all about? Well hamdulillah in Dubai we do a lot in different places while hamdulillah we can actually get engaged, you know in in Dawa by organizing certain events purely meant for Dawa, to bring non Muslims to understand the beauties of Islam insha Allah, also my
beloved brothers and sisters, you can utilize the technology that you have, you know, at your fingertips, you can actually access the information about Islam and you will be able to really rip out great benefits. There are certain historic, you know, events will have
hamdulillah by the grace of Allah, Allah is a we have done right in the month of Ramadan and it was a great opportunity. When culturally people are close together hearts and touched a lot of
gives that that softness in the hearts of the people and they get closer to Islam Al Hamdulillah. So in order to make Ramadan more productive, you and I can get engaged in Dawa in all these ways that I have actually listed out.
Focus Area number eight, my beloved brothers and sisters, we can actually
improve ourselves and bring productive results out of the available things that we have, by making sure that we perform voluntary acts. Don't Don't ever just get satisfied with what is obligatory in Ramadan. Again, let me repeat don't get satisfied with what is obligatory in Ramadan because the obligatory is anyways there Subhanallah on top of it, you need to top up your account of good deeds. This is something easy to understand you need to top up the account of good deeds and Ramadan is the best month to top up your account of good deeds when hamdulillah account top of your account with good deeds so much that you don't have time for for topping up any evil deed Allahu Akbar, right. So
optional prayer after obligatory ones. So optional prayer is one thing which you can offer a lot. Keep forgiving people for their mistakes. This is something beautiful, show your best behavior, being just merciful and moderate any type of charity, especially if you know feeding people as the profitsystem. He said, the best of you is the one who feeds others and greed to one whom you know, and to one whom you don't know helping others, you know in any shape or form. Dharavi is something again, which is very, very noble act of voluntary act will hamdulillah that we can do where we all get overwhelmed with our spirituality aitikaf in last 10 days is again, a very powerful means to
make our productivity on a higher level while hamdulillah so my beloved brothers and sisters about Dharavi we know it's the son of the Prophet salallahu alaihe salam it's a programming towards righteousness and togetherness, love but and know that it is specific to Ramadan. So you have one time opportunity while hamdulillah and try and reflect on what is recited and by reviewing at least the translation what's going to be recited will hamdulillah at least pray a Sha and fudge in the masjid, if not, Ravi Subhana Allah so my beloved brothers and sisters, so many voluntary deeds that you and I can do, which can actually maximize our productivity in the month of Ramadan. Insha Allah
aitikaf to talk about, we know that Subhan Allah, this is something which is absolutely powerful.
A lot of Syriza he gave this as a Sunnah of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, and there is a great deal of benefit out of it. Number one, we know that a ticker is something which is secluded and this has to be done in the masjid, right. And it can be done any time you don't need to just be in the masjid only for a specific time. It can be done any time as well you make a near enter be there you will be in the state of the curve. And then when you come out, it's an awful graph. Insha Allah last nights of Ramadan are highly recommended to be in the masjid in the state of the Gulf. Any amount of time you can do right? This is the sooner you will be privileged as the guest of Allah
subhanaw taala being in the masjid, the house of Allah, you will be the guest of Allah subhanho wa Taala and both, when you have the facility for male or female both can actually stay in the masjid. If you have proper arrangements as well. Seeking night of bilateral contract becomes lot more easier but isn't in love in your in the masjid in the state of aitikaf in the vicar of Allah Subhana huhtala making dua to Allah subhanho wa Taala to help you grant forgiveness to help you grant Laila to other insha Allah.
Obviously when you are in the state of Erika curve, you talk and eat less only when you are required insha Allah and this will be a beauty in itself that you are there you have offered yourself exclusively for Allah subhanho wa Taala it's highly recommended that you awaken your family and to help them engage in a bada because that's what the prophets will allow. instead.
Act was that he used to tighten his waist and make his family aware and awaken during the last 10 nights of Ramadan because they are the best and nights of the entire year. It's highly recommended you increase your effort, whatever you were doing, perhaps first 20 days, it's highly recommended you increase the efforts to the maximum level that you can during the last 10 nights of the Ramadan in sha Allah. So my beloved brothers and sisters, that was area number
eight, let's move on to the focus area number nine, right. So, practice four qualities. Now, those are the deeds that you have mentioned that we have discussed, you know, where we really need to focus on but when it comes to qualities, just focus on primarily these four qualities number one, strengthening your belief in Allah subhanho wa Taala This is a quality of email, this should always be focused, it should not be diluted in any shape or form. Right? So you need to really strengthen your faith in Allah subhanaw taala and all those focus areas that we have mentioned are the supplements are the boosters that will help you to stand on your Eman insha Allah number to empower
your worship your Rebbe should be intense, it should be extremely higher and you should feel a distinct difference between your worship in Ramadan and outside Ramadan. So that should be the clear indicator that yet you have actually accelerated yourself you've really pushed yourself to make your ibadah more empowering will hamdulillah number three enhance your character your clock is something which the profits are the level and he seldom said the nearest to me and the dearest to me both. Now the nearest and the dearest to me on the day of judgment will be the one who will have good character so Ramadan is the best month to build your best character well hamdulillah so display it.
That's number three. Number four monitor your dealings you know a lot of times person is very good any man or perhaps he is his ibadah is good enough is a flirt is good enough. But then when it comes to mama, Daddy, mom a lot, the dealings he's weak. So we need to be cautious because this
includes the rights of the creation and we will not be forgiven for that unless that person forgives us Subhan Allah so we need to have the focus on these four qualities. Keep strengthening your your Eman in Allah subhanaw taala keep empowering your worship and make sure that your your character is overwhelming. It's beautiful. It's liked by one and all insha Allah More importantly, it's beautiful in the sight of Allah subhanho wa Taala and always monitor your dealings, how you actually, you know, deal, your transactions, your dealings, while hamdulillah So, this is the focus area number nine primary
for focused qualities.
Let's move on to the last focus area and that is focus area number 10 insha Allah abstaining yourself from four evils, right these evils are something that actually destroy our entire faith number one ego we need to understand that ego belongs to Allah subhanaw taala alone we have no right we have no right to be egoistic, right, we do need to be proud of anything because everything and everyone belongs to Allah subhanho wa Taala. So we need to ensure that we manage our egos in a way that is not
that does not become the reason for our destruction because the Prophet sallallahu alayhi Salaam he said a person who has atoms weight of pride will not even you know feel the the fragments of Jenna Subhana Allah so obviously we don't want to be among those unfortunate people. So we really need to keep focusing on this evil in sha Allah. Number two, we need to also understand that envy, jealousy you know, having that that that inferiority complex so to say and having that jealousy factor with others is definitely something which is destructive so this evil has actually you know, a taken up the good deeds at the expense of bad deeds from Kerala road so we rip out the good deeds with a lot
of efforts. Mr. Right, we do a lot of effort and get the good deeds. We don't want these good deeds to be ruined by certain deeds, which can eat up our goodies and that that's what the prophet sallallaahu Allison said, you know, jealousy eats up
The good deeds as the fire eats up the word, Allahu Akbar. So we don't want our good deeds to be zoomed in any shape or form. So we need to prevent ourselves avoid completely envy because a person who relies on Allah will have trust in Allah subhanaw taala they do not have envy and jealousy about others inshallah. So it's a direct indicator that you are, you are you feel insecure, Subhanallah you feel insecure, because you think that you don't have what you should have, and others have what they perhaps don't need to have. So you don't need I don't need to be a deciding factor for what we need to have. It's Allah Who decides everything for everyone in sha Allah.
Number three, my beloved brothers and sisters, we know anger is an evil that actually destroys our, our good deeds many times. So we do things which we don't perhaps intend to do, you know, in anger in the state of anger, and as a result, we destroy ourselves. Imagine a person who is extremely angry, it is the first, the first one to be affected negatively. It's that person who is angry, love what but so we don't want to take that burden unnecessarily and destroy ourselves. Extreme love for dunya This is the point that we need to understand that what really kills our productivity in Ramadan is the extreme love for dunya Subhan Allah. In fact, what kills out productivity as a Muslim
is the extreme love for this dunya where other the Prophet salallahu alaihe salam warned us so many times, and a lot of what he said he says allow Kumu Takata had the Zulu Tamil macabre, the people they are in race to gain the route through Han Allah to have that increase what they just don't need, but what they want to have, what they really need to aspire for love Akbar and until well, Zoo bokoblin until they reach the graves low. So we need to understand what we need to have balance. Our mindset should be very clear. We are here for a temporary time and we need to make it the best we need to take every month the best especially when it comes to Ramadan. As I said it may be our last
Ramadan so we need to make this as the best Ramadan ever in our lifetime. We need to do every good deed what we have not done in the past and we need to abstain from every evil deed what we have done in the last Ramadan or previous Ramadan's Subhan Allah so when we have these 10 focused areas, my beloved brothers and sisters, we will be able to definitely inshallah, by the villain, the mercy of Allah will be able to, you know, spend Ramadan in the most productive way be in the light of Allah. And this is the checklist that I have actually mentioned in the presentation which will be shared with you be in the light Allah which you can actually go through, this will help you in sha Allah,
in your future course of action be in the light Allah and that's it from my side Bismillah I asked a lot of Billerica to help all of us, all of us because we all need the help of Allah to spend Ramadan, the most productive way in sha Allah We ask Allah Subhana Allah to bless each one of you to bless all of us. The peace, the serenity, the satisfaction, the you know, healing, we ask Allah subhanho wa Taala to cure those who are sick, we ask Allah subhanaw taala to empower those who are poor, we ask Allah subhanaw taala to remove people across the globe, Muslims, non Muslims, everyone who are suffering due to any kind of issues. May Allah subhanaw taala grant mercy on the entire
humanity We ask Allah subhanaw taala ultimately, to make us among those who will be with the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam witnessing the face of Allah subhanho wa Taala in the highest levels of Jannah we're actually Rana Anil hamdu Lillahi Rabbil alameen Allah who play run brother, Mohammed that was fantastic and I'm sure through the presentations and inshallah we will be sharing this with the participants as well. They can definitely plan extremely, extremely productive Ramadan May Allah subhanho wa Taala accepted from you And may Allah Subhana Allah grant you more wisdom for really presenting this in such a you know, it's such a such a way that you know, people can remember people
can really act upon it and shout loudhailer. So, a lot of questions and I must say our participants have been quite engaging
You know Subhan Allah following your session as well as posting questions and we've got a couple of them and I like to start with
the first one from sister that says how should a housewife be productive with kids and cooking responsibility which we already covered? but this seems to be a repetitive question.
The other one that came from chef was how to maintain a bother after Ramadan as most of us during Ramadan we are extremely competitive. However, after Ramadan we forget most of these deeds and we do not carry out the same level of Eman all through the rest of the year. So how do we really you know contain Ramadan all through the year in our lives, this is how Allah we see a natural decline right after Ramadan and this is because of various reasons number one, we are Muslims not because of from Amman we are Muslims because of Allah subhanaw taala So, Ramadan will come and go and it comes only once a year but a lot of Buddha is a he remains so we need to remain worshipping in the state of
worship of Allah subhanaw taala forever. So, when we set all these goals all these you know focus areas all these acts of ibadah Ramadan we need to understand Ramadan is actually as I as I begin my presentation, but it's a month of training. So obviously when you train yourself what do you do you will continue on those parameters of that training you will continue to be with those you know milestones that we want to that we have achieved during our training time right. So, the Ramadan is something which
boosts our energy of Eman And it helps us and it actually charges our spiritual batteries in a way that can actually be able to you know sustain for next 11 months Subhanallah so
undoubtedly there is a natural decline as you rightly said, how do we actually maintain that momentum while by maintaining those acts that we have been doing during Ramadan for example, those focus areas that I've actually mentioned during my presentation being with the Quran making our Salah productive making our you know, fasting You know, every Thursdays and Fridays and a YAML beads fasting to be active enough even after Ramadan like right after Ramadan, we have six days of shawal fast and there is a great deal of benefit out of it and there are so all these others we need to understand are not meant only for Ramadan, but they are meant for the entire life. So we need to
have that mindset number one number two, we need to keep struggling because we know we will not be able to have that suitable scenario outside Ramadan. So we need to really keep ourselves even if not at that level but at least do not decline to the ladder you know altogether. inshallah We ask Allah subhanaw taala to give us stability and we ask a lot of but he says the Prophet isn't taught us to ask him Yah, maka liberal globe sabot calbee Allah denecke or change of hearts Let our hearts be firm on our Deen in sha Allah. I mean, you're allowed me a follow on question. For those who can fast in the month of Ramadan due to pregnancy. How do we increase that equate to fasting,
every moment of pain that you may have during that time, ask Allah remember Allah and you will be able to cherish beauties and the blessings from Allah subhanho wa Taala because what you're going through in itself is a blessing from Allah. So Allah knows your state of being a state of you know, stability, whether you can or not, if you're not able to, you will be able to compensate with other acts like as I said, Vicar of Allah subhanaw taala listening to the Quran, if you can recite recite Quran and do other acts of worship, so that you don't get disconnected from this beautiful, you know, uplifting, spiritual, spiritually enlightened environment that you are going through in sha
Allah so you can definitely compensate with other acts of worship in the light of Allah and continue your fast after you're done with your pregnancy inshallah. inshallah dialler. The question here is from sister Tyra, who says I've started reading Quran in tarawih and completed in Ramadan in tarawih by holding the Quran in the hand is this more rewarding? It Ravi at home individually,
right, so there is no harm in reading from the mishap as long as it is no awful salah and Tara
We know it's basically an orphan slides from the Sunnah of the Prophet slim is not an obligate rissalah so what you have done is absolutely rewardable it's definitely, you know, recommended and you can actually read out full benefit out of it in sha Allah B isn't Allahu taala. This way you will be able to get closely connected with the Quran and every act that Allah has kept in our Deen is in a way that will help us to facilitate ourselves to get closer to Allah subhanho wa Taala. So you can definitely pray to Ravi at your home. And there is no limit for the number of records and you can actually keep your must have in your hand and read it with with yourself from the Quran.
There is no harm in sha Allah. Allah Allah.
Sister zenab asks a question
relating to the recitation of the Quran that not everyone can
or read properly the Quran, especially with the GUI, so in which case, what should they do?
Well, when a person struggles to read the Quran, although the intention is very clear and pure, that he or she wants to read, but there is a struggle, the Prophet sallallahu Sallam said that that person will get two rewards, one for the struggle that he or she is reading, and two for the recitation in itself Subhan Allah, so you keep continuing your struggle, find a tutor, or mentor who can help you guide you and advise you to better your recitation be even lie to Allah, and keep struggling, keep striving, nothing comes easy on our way, right. And this is the most blessed book on the face of the earth. This requires much more bigger level of investment of our attention, our
energy, our time, our focus, our determination, our hard work, our sacrifice, and the rest. SubhanAllah so when you just keep on doing insha Allah, I'm sure you know, as we say, practice makes man perfect or makes you know, a better in sha Allah. So keep practicing inshallah, find a right future for a tutor who can help you to continue your journey. And to make it easy in sha Allah, I asked a lot of queries that to make your a big, a beautiful body of the Quran inshallah one day when you keep struggling with the lighter, I mean, you're a bit I mean, a question from anonymous name here, how to remove all these evils I believe that, you know, he or she is mentioning the last
slide, we mentioned about envy, about anger, and how do we remove these evils from our hearts. So the first thing that you need to do in order to remove the evil, you know, from our hearts or from our lives is number one, treat them as the evil number one, treat them as an evil number two, make yourself completely aware of the of the, you know,
worst side or the consequence of that evil that can destroy you in your dunya as well as in your Akira. So when you are aware that Firstly, this is an evil, for example, ego is an evil. Number two, you are aware that a lot of binaries will not even help you to you know, smell the fragments of Jana, in an app here are some water loss, right? Absolute failure. So when you are aware, the consequences, so worse, you will be able to remove that from your life insha Allah, maybe it will not go completely, but at least it will go to a level where Allah subhanaw taala insha, Allah will forgive us and grant us Gemini in sha Allah. So firstly treat them as evil number two, get aware.
Number three, be a person who does the opposite of what that evil is, for example, a person knows that ego is an evil and the ego has a you know, worst consequence. You have to be extremely humble and kill your ego. Every single time you kill the ego and be humble, you actually kill the ego. So you are extremely humbled. Because you are the slave of a lot of Budweiser. And you have to be best with the creation, you are actually equipping yourself a kind of humility, and at the same time you're actually reducing the level of ego as well. So a systematic approach will definitely help you number one treated as an evil to get aware of the worst consequence number three, possess good
habits as opposed to those evils insha Allah and this is a process this is a process no
But I cannot guarantee you cannot guarantee that this can be completely eradicated. It may exist in everyone Subhan Allah, we need to keep trying. And that's what a human can do. And we keep as you know, keeping, keep asking Allah subhanaw taala adnoc Ratan musta came Guide us to the straight path in sha Allah
insha Allah, Allah.
There's a following question on that same topic. I often get angry, but when I don't show my anger, I feel heavy in the heart. How can I remove this heaviness at my heart to control anger, but when I control it, I feel frustrated, please guide. Right?
Well, you need to understand that anger does not benefit extreme anger, uncontrolled anger, to be properly you know, worded, uncontrolled anger. Anger does not and have not benefited anyone. So you need to understand this element of anger, which is outburst and it did not help anyone in the past. It's not helpful for you now, and it's not going to be helpful for you in the future as well. Number one, number two, you need to know that when you get angry, you have to follow certain, you know, principles prescribed in Islam, for example, number one, you need to make sure that you make Voodoo to you drink of water. Three, you sit down, go away from that, probably environment where you feel
absolutely angry. You know, number four, you know, pray to Raka pray to Raka in that moment of anger, when you don't feel that you're subsiding. As I said, Voodoo, prayed drink of water, you know,
sit down, relax. And if you're obviously angry on someone, immediately think about the best qualities of that person, best qualities, the best behavior that was displayed by that person towards you. When you think about good qualities of the person. At the time of anger, obviously, it will develop sense of love, care and compassion. And we'll give you the ability in the law to forgive that person. And number five, most importantly of all the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. He said if a person forgives others, even though you are right, if you're right, and you have forgiven someone, Allah subhanho wa Taala will build Palace in the surroundings of Jenna. So
you know, the bigger gain is there for you. When you forgive someone, you have a palace in the surroundings of Jana. So, you know, it's very difficult to forgive someone, especially when you're right. But you still forgive Why? Because you know, what are you gaining out of this forgiveness, which may exist for an hour a day or two? That's it. But when you forgive it that moment because you expect a great deal of reward from Allah subhanaw taala and that's a palace in the surroundings of Jana. When obviously, you don't care about this anger, you care about the palace in general, isn't it? So when you do these things, insha Allah Bismillah to Allah, you will be able to come down and
be comfortable in the way in the state of anger insha Allah
insha Allah tala sister Sarah asks, I am in juice 15 in the Quran, she's reciting and she has on the 15 pages is Rama and Rama been Shall I continue from the same juice or shall I start from the beginning?
Well, it's up to you. It's absolutely fine to continue, it's absolutely fine to restart your journey again. It's up to you. Perhaps you can continue up until the 20th of Ramadan, finish the entire Jews and then perhaps the last 10 nights you can accelerate your effort by investment, investing more time and effort. inshallah having you know, that those 10 days or 10 nights of Ramadan, completing another, you know, whole Quran insha Allah, however, it suits you better. The more you do, the more you will benefit, the more you benefit, obviously, the more you will be rewarded as well. Insha Allah, Allah Allah
that's a great mentioning the because I believe a lot of people today, believe or think and they convinced themselves that unless you finish the Quran, you know from first base till the end, you've actually done something wrong and they feel guilty about it. They don't know if they are memorizing the Quran if they need to come continue re memorizing
So I believe from what you're saying, the essence of it is to recite as much as you can and try and complete the Quran, you know, multiple times it does not mean that if you've done it once, they would stop.
Absolutely.
hamdulillah. So, we have a question from sister Huma. She says how do we do a ticket for women? And can it be done at home if mosques are not open for women in COVID time, right. So as we know from the Sunnah of the Prophet salallahu, alayhi wasallam. A takeoff is meant only in the massagin for men and women both. Now we know we are going through troubling times, it's basically not allowed at, you know, in the time of Ramadan, in many countries, they are in lockdown, perhaps because of the situation we need to really be considerate that insha Allah as long as we have a knee and intention to be in a curve in Ramadan, in the massage, regardless whether we will be able to do that or not,
we will be rewarded. That's number one, but we cannot be extra, you know, excited and get into a mode which is not from the Sunnah of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. So the correct opinion is that it a calf is limited only in the masjid, as we know and Allah knows best in sha Allah as long as other ibaadat other acts of worship that you want to get engaged, your home is definitely
the best place to be engaged in all these acts of Riba. Insha Allah and you will be able to get rewarded for that act which you have intended and as well as those acts which you're doing already in the homes insha Allah insha Allah, Allah May Allah make it easy for all of us. The question came from sister Farzana, she says Salam Alaikum I have been missing many fasting days during my puberty age, till now how to compensate all these missing fats because I suppose I don't even remember the number of fast I missed. So please advise how to repent and amend jazak Allah Hi, Ron. Right. So, as far as those fasts which have been missed,
daily deliberately and of course, you need to basically compensate them you know, in the days which are outside Ramadan because Ramadan itself is an obligation of the fast so you need to compensate those fasts as much as you can outside Ramadan and if you really don't know the number, you seek repentance from Allah subhanaw taala for not knowing those, you know, numbers in particular, specifically how many number of days that you've missed, but you keep fasting go with the near as much as you can in in the mind, if you have an average number, you you keep on you know, fulfilling those obligations because this is something cannot be missed without a genuine excuse that are
mentioned and listed out in Islam. So, obviously you need to make as much
compensation of the fasting and keep on you know, asking forgiveness from Allah subhanaw taala for the shortcomings that may have during this process in sha Allah and Allah knows best.
inshallah looks like we have most questions out here inshallah by the hammer then I think I want to really understand from you if there's anything you want to advise our participants at the end of the session in terms of what they need to do again, in summary of making this Ramadan, the best Ramadan, like you said, and really make it better than the Ramadan that went prior to us and Subhanallah we never know if we can actually even be alive till then. So when we do meet Ramadan, what is your final final advice as far as being or making this a productive Ramadan? Is Subhanallah I would I would, you know, remind myself and every one of you is to ask Allah subhanaw taala by making this
draa lama boliviana Ramadan, Allah help us to reach out in the month of Ramadan. The people of the past the past predestined is to plan six months ahead of Ramadan, you know, looking forward for this great opportunity that lies in Ramadan. So number one, we keep asking a lot of belleza about Ramadan and be always conscious. You know about Allah subhanho wa Taala and welcome Ramadan with an open arm to explore these, you know, beautiful blessed
Things that are stored in the month of Ramadan be all viously you know, we we may lack certain things, you know in the initial days but never to be, you know, hopeless in the mercy of Allah subhanaw taala keep on trying, keep on striving don't ever lose hope. If you might have not done the best in the first fast, no problem you continue and try to do the better in the next so not giving up hope be obviously you know, you know steadfast in the worship of Allah subhanaw taala and never ever be oblivious about the mercy of Allah subhanho wa Taala he is there to help us he's there to support us he's there to reward us he's there to have mercy on us insha Allah, keep up your mindset
positive that you will be inshallah witnessing the month of Ramadan in you will be reaping out the best or you know fruits from the month of Ramadan and you will be able to ultimately as I said, the one liner objective of the entire Ramadan is to gain jannatul firdaus from this Ramadan inshallah with these words with these plans with these intentions with these prayers, we We ask Allah subhanaw taala to help us reach out Ramadan and to help us gain the highest levels of Jenna Jenna tell for those insha Allah witnessing the face of Allah subhanho wa Taala and being in the company of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam
desert Allah higher and great advice there. So participants, I hope then shallow Tyler, you all have benefited from this session, we ask Allah subhana wa Jalla to keep us all guided, help us to achieve Ramadan and make us of those who really take this opportunity not for granted. But really, really utilize this Ramadan to make a change our lives forever seeking the pleasure of Allah subhanho wa Taala and like brother Hamad said achieve the highest level of Jannah and that should be the objective in sha Allah tala. We never know if we're going to be living right after this Ramadan or not Subhan Allah May Allah subhana wa Jalla grant Jenna to all those that have passed away before us
and those that we will, you know, witness passing as well because at the end of the day, death is a reality and we need to keep this in mind. And I think all of us have benefited from this brother hammer. Thank you very much once again, and from Manila Islamic Center. We like to thank all of our participating in charlotta we look forward to have you in our next session. Until then fear Manila. I leave you in the safety and security of Allah subhana wa Jalla wa zakka Allah hi Iran was Salam aleikum wa rahmatullah wa barakato.
