My dear brothers and sisters, it's my honor
once again
to welcome you to another episode in our
series of duas to power your day.
We are at Refraction Sonar's Small Husna.
And today, we plan to reflect
on the following most beautiful names
of Allah
namely Al Qabil, the Withholder,
Albasid, the extender,
Al Hafiz
Al Hafiz,
the
baser, and Raphael, the exaltor.
And, you know, one of the most important
thing
when we are faced with this kind of
names,
Al Qabi al Basit, Al Al
Rafi,
this kind of names, Al Qabi
al Qabi al Qabi al Qabi al Qabi
al Qabi al Qabi al Rafi,
they are contrasting
names that we should not use one without
the other. So Al Kabil,
we should use
Al Kabil with with Al Basit, Al Kabil
with Al Rafi. So they go together because
they
are contrasting
names that are to be juxtaposed,
you know,
praised
opposite to one another
because god alone
is uniquely
attributed,
qualified with such
attributes because he is incomparable.
He is unique.
So you may think it is when it
is referred
when you use them referring to human beings
or creation,
you cannot do so. We cannot juxtapose. You
cannot combine both, treat them as complementary
because
that's not the nature of the creation.
Luxman O'Thal alone is unique,
so he is Al Khav,
Al Abbasid,
he Arafi.
He is
qualified with these unique attributes.
Celebration, we refer to god's actions. You know,
they
they are juxtaposed. They are contrasted.
And in this way, we will be able
to see how
Allah is working with His creation
according to His wisdom and will.
We have this
in Surah 29 verse 62. Allah says,
Allah
God out expands
and straightens provision for whoever he wills. For
some, he expands it,
gives it extensively.
For others,
he stretches it out, narrows it.
So a human being, while referencing this
contrast,
he may be perplexed,
but we should never be perplexed because it
is God doing it, and he does so
according to his wisdom
and knowledge.
There is always a wisdom why
he chooses to give some more
than others. There is a wisdom behind it,
so
condition yourself to, sir, learn the unique
nature of God's sovereignty.
Both names are Khaybel al Basit,
referred to God providing abundance to some while
providing its sparingly to others.
Likewise,
God is also Al Haafil,
the eraser,
and he's also a rafi, the exalter.
So
by reflecting on these names,
we must
know,
you know, how do we implement these names
in our own life.
What's our share
of imbibing the lessons from these names?
Number 1, we must never covet what Allah
has bestowed on others.
We will see somebody super rich,
so we should not covet
because Allah has wisdom. Allah has given this
to him as a test.
Even I deprived you of things I deprived
you, this doesn't mean you should not strive
for the good things. You should strive.
But still, you may find that you are
not getting
what others got
because the world has its wisdom
in depriving you of some of these blessings
even as he has his wisdom in testing
that person with those abundance.
And even mawa allows us to be depressed
over God's powers
for giving powers for some over others. You
will see God is overpowering
some over others.
So when we see that, we should not
say God is unjust.
God has his wisdom in doing so.
And
another point we must learn from this is
we ought to empower ourselves
by seeking the power and strength from the
ultimate source of strength and power, which is
Allah's.
By doing so, we stand to gain.
We must believe firmly that the worldly favors
are simply tests,
and, therefore,
Allah is testing the 1 the super
rich even as he's teaching the, testing the
one who is poor.
So
sometimes,
you know, as Umar Barakatab
said,
we, the companions of the prophet, were tested.
We're poiety.
We were successful.
But when he test us, we're opening
with richness and abundance
when you first fail.
So
this is the way to look at it.
Therefore, the real glory, favor, and success are
based on our fire and destiny in the
hereafter.
The prophet
said,
Many of those who are dust in finery
in this world will be naked in the
next world.
So remember this always,
never covet,
never get carried away,
by
questioning the wisdom of Allah
in the way he deals with his creation.
