Ahmad Arshad – Discourse At Khanqah #28

My dear brothers,
the journey that we embarked on a month
ago is
coming to an end, coming to a closure.
We remember succinctly
the excitement that we felt that Ramadan
is upon us,
and the passion and the desires that we
had while we were entering it.
And we understood
this month to be one of the greatest
gifts
from Allah
to his servants and slaves.
People who want to get close to Allah
but
owing to their own shortcomings,
owing to their own procrastination,
lack of energy, lack of vigor, lack of
shout and
doubt.
They were unable to experience that closeness and
nearness.
And so Allah,
as he always does,
he showed mercy and compassion,
and he allowed us to experience this month
once again.
But
this month,
while it is an opportunity,
it also comes with some fine prints.
And that is that you must make use
of it to transform yourself,
to change yourself, to
realize
the goals of this month. Otherwise,
because of lack of other,
lack of appreciation,
because of lack of gratefulness,
then a person can become a target of
what is called a baddua from Hatha Jibrain
and an ameen from Rasulullah
We all know that hadith and Mubarak that
was
upon his pulpit.
And when he said Amin
3 times.
And Sahaba Qarab Islamullah Hijmein asked him,
why
did you say ameen?
And he said that Jibril alaihis salam came
to me.
Or what was meant was that Dibra'el alayhi
salaam was sent to me by Allah
And he made some duas.
The first duas that
made that person be destroyed and annihilated.
Who has their parents
in their old age, but
he does not get themselves forgiven
by their service.
And so Nabi said, Amin to that.
And the second hadith the second
Amin was that may that person be annihilated
and destroyed, that here's my blessed name, Muhammad
sallallahu alaihi wa sallam.
And he does not send salawat.
And Rami Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam said, army,
of course,
who can be a greater muslim to us
than Rami Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam?
Who can
want greater Hayr for us than Nabi salallahu
alayhi wa sallam? And if the least we
cannot do is send salawat on our blessed
Nabi salallahu alayhi wa sallam,
that he said we really need to be
destroyed and annihilated.
And the third time
was when Jibril al Islam said that, need
a person who
experiences
this month of Ramadan, this gift from Allah
but doesn't utilize this to get themselves forgiven.
May that person be destroyed, and
It is a deep because
we know that we saw some is rahmatullilal
al Amin.
And he has the best
wishes for his ummah.
We are this ummah.
So why would he say to something like
this? Because
there are so many blessings in this month
that even a blind person
you know, just like a blind person, they
may not be able to see. They can
still
feel when it is daytime or nighttime. They
can still sense that.
So even a blind person like us whose
whose hearts have
rotted out,
whose hearts are so hardened, so rusted,
can become so darkened because of a lifetime
of sin.
A lifetime of disobedience,
a lifetime of serving our own desires and
whims,
submitting
to whatever we wanted,
to whenever we wanted,
wherever we wanted.
And so
if a person does not get them forgiven
in this month,
then such a person is what is known
as
Rejected, dejected.
And so that person should be destined for
jihad.
And so as
we we use the end of it, we
have to look back what they call retrospection.
Look back at what have we been able
to achieve because
the eye of the Quran, it sets some
goals for us
That people who claim to iman, people who
profess to
people
who
raise or rise up to this challenge.
Show me that you can become those people
who are conscious of Allah
in their existence.
A deep consciousness
that
protects us from a life of fear.
That anytime
our hand is
reaching towards any
tool of sin, the
you know, the heart just wakens up. Say,
what are you doing?
This is what taqwa is. This is what
is.
It wakes up
that, oh,
oh, slave of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala, what
are you doing?
And then you stop because of that
that
that that you experience in that in that
moment. This is what taqwa is.
And so 1 month,
1 month of
terbia, 1 month of boot camp was exactly
this.
It wasn't
about hunger
or starvation
or thirst
or so you can stay away from halal
relationships. It That was just so
we can show to Allah
that Allah,
you are so dear to us
that your love,
our heart is so engrossed with it
that for your sake, we are willing to
sacrifice even things that are halal for us.
Eating and drinking,
those aren't, you know, things that we
want. Those are the things that we need.
They are
what keeps that curse alive.
Procreation is what keeps the humanity going.
And so for 1 month, what do we
do?
If I am willing to
and if I'm able
to stay away from
even those things that are halal, that are
my needs as a human person.
I'm not why is it that I'm not
able to leave what is
what is doubtful, Allah, what is haram? Of
course, Allah, I will leave those things for
you as well. So this was a practice.
A practice one for the rest of
the rest of the year, but also a
practice one for the rest of our lives.
And that is why our masha is right
that,
you know, this month is really like a
a template, a blueprint
of what the rest of the year will
look like.
So if we have been able to focus
in this month,
attach ourselves Allah
attach ourselves to the Quran,
attach ourselves to the sunnah,
be able to do
of Allah being able to bring in extra
nawafil.
Meaning, that is what transformation is? That is
what true tawba is?
Transformation.
Change.
Change. Tawba isn't that we continue going in
the direction that we were going. Tawba means
to return back,
to turn back to something original.
And so when we say
I understand that I was, I took the
wrong exit. I understand that.
It was a mistake.
It was my weakness. It was my jahalat.
It was all of those things. I took
the wrong turn,
but then you have to make a u-turn.
That is what is.
And that is really what we'll have to
assess now. Have we been able to make
it a u-turn in our life or not?
And that's an answer that nobody can answer
for us. It is an answer we have
to
seek out within ourselves.
What are we willing to give up for
Allah
What are we willing to sacrifice? Just like
in this month,
You know, we woke up early.
You know, those who words used with tahajjud,
they were paying the hajjud,
they were paying isharat, they were paying jas.
They were praying Awadeen.
20 rakats a day during the normal year,
we cannot even think about 20 rakats a
day.
And now every single day, we we stood
out, we listened to the Quran, we read
the Quran.
You know, there was
all of those things.
It means we have the energy to do
it.
It means that the spark is there.
Right?
It's just that what happens is that as
soon as Ramadan
ends, we just let go of it. We
don't do hifa of it.
And that is a big problem.
And so what I really wanted to focus
on, you know, for a few minutes
was just this you know, because people will
say,
how is Ramadan? It was such an amazing
Ramadan night.
You know, was basking in the mercy of
Allah
It was just an experience that I could
not have imagined that I I would have
been able to.
2 days
later in Shawwal,
and, you know, you start getting messages. Oh,
Sheikh, I committed this, and Oh, Sheikh, I
committed that thing. Oh, Sheikh, this happened to
me. Oh, Sheikh, that happened to me. You
know, I don't know what happened.
And we're looking for an answer.
The answer is really there. And the Quran
itself in these ayahs in Surah Baqarah, Allah
Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala talks about this.
Where Allah says that,
you know, this ayah and the next ayah,
You know, it talks about that, you know,
when my Ibad, when my servants and slaves
ask about me,
Tell them that I am kareem, that I
am near them.
All they need to do is
make dua to me because I I I
accept the dua of Allah
of my slaves and servants. So Allah is
telling us, giving us the hint
that he remains here past. But I mean,
let's be honest about us. Who
draws ourselves away from us? Who runs away
from Allah
You know, it is like the whole month
we were knocking on the door. You Allah
open the door. You Allah open the door.
Allah, I want to become your. Allah, I
want to get close to you. Allah, I
want to experience what this nearness feels like,
what the halalut of iman is. You know,
I I want to feel what this
these words that I have read, but I've
never experienced them. And
Allah gives us this this month. Sure. Go
ahead.
Experience
it. And when the time comes to actualize
this for the rest of our life, what
do we do?
Right from Layla to
on the day of the
Eid, next day, the next day,
constant and instant hafna is so ajeev.
Instant hafna.
You can't even blame, you know, oh, shaitan
did this. You know, shaitan was chained.
And now because we let go of the
zikr, of course, shaitan is going to fill
the vacuum.
Shaitan is going to fill the vacuum. We
were told in narrations that shaitan is there
just
waiting to inject
his venom, his poison into the hearts of
the mumineen.
As long as the person does
that is the
shield. That is the garment stick.
And as soon as a person
falls into,
guaranteed,
Shaitan just injects that IV solution and
That's it.
1, 2, 3. And shaitan does not care
Does not care what sin we indulge in
as long as we're indulging in some sin,
because everything,
you know, creates or erects this wall between
us and Allah subhanahu. It doesn't matter if
it's Zahiri,
doesn't matter if it's Botany, but the
I don't have to do all of
And so when the question comes, oh, you
know, will I be able to do this
for the rest of the year? Of course.
You think Allah does not want to guide
us?
Of course, Allah wants to guide us.
But, you know, we have been given this
free will. You know, 2 things that we
have been sent down in this world with.
1 is our consciousness, this sha'ud, this zuhuwah.
And the other is this free will. I
mean, you know, free will, you can say,
is another word for our nafs.
The free will assume. You you do this?
Yeah. Fine. You want to do this? Fine.
You want to do that? That's fine.
For limited amount of time,
the free will is
so what do we do? You know? And
let's ask ourselves, like, last year, the year
before, the year before,
what was the moment that we crashed and
broke?
Wasn't it when we fell in
Wasn't it when we started,
you know, opening up our cell phones again,
turning our TV back on, and, you know,
falling on the Internet again, you know, talking
to people, we're like, oh, I'm not gonna
talk to you for a month. And as
soon
as
Right? This is what isn't isn't this what
we do?
So how can we even blame? Or who
can how can we lay this blame on
anyone but ourselves? How can we say, oh,
You Allah, you
know, this is a test, this and all.
Stop blaming Allah for this. I mean, we
made the choices.
We had the fever.
Telling us, I am near
you. And I am closer to you
than your own carotid artery.
You should get that awareness, that vigilance, that
that I am near with you. And that
will give you a life that is a
careful and cautious life. A life
of, a life
of that anytime
you are tempted You know, there are a
lot of temptations around us.
You are tempted,
you know, you will put a break on
it because of that.
Allah is watching me.
Allah is
watching me. And it will be a tragedy,
my brothers.
If we stop ourselves because some other person
is watching us, we feel
And what will this person say? What will
that person say?
And we don't have this much
that we cannot stop ourselves
after knowing that Allah
is watching us. Can there be a greater
nifa' than this?
Can there be a greater than this?
We care about Mahmud more
who cannot give us any nafar, who cannot
give us any nafar, no benefit, no harm,
who can't do anything.
But because our self image might be
shattered, what if they find out?
Okay. Okay. You know what? Just just wait.
Wait till this person goes and then
I'm going to do my after that.
Sadie?
It's the same Allah
Does Allah how to build a a rub
change after Ramadan? It's the same Allah.
But that doesn't mean that Barakah sees to
exist
on Shawwal first. They don't.
So when the question comes out, how do
I do
of my
because
some some of us felt this change.
We were able to spend time with the
Quran.
There were people who read 3, 4, 5,
6, 7 you know, multiple Quran, masha'Allah.
So we were able to attach ourselves to
it.
We did zikr, you know, people were able
to sit and do zikr like all night
long
And they were able to exercise the self
control and restraint,
and control their nafs.
They were able to do that,
and now if you want to continue with
that, you know, the ball is in our
court.
The ball is in our court. So some
of the things we really need to be
careful about. Right? First of all,
close the doors of.
This is this is a need we have
to make.
We cannot say, I'm going to leave 99%.
You know, that's just one that's
just one one, you know, saying I can't
leave as
from. We can't say that.
There is no small and big. You know,
when we say,
right? That sahirah and kabeera are
relevant to each other.
Right? Relevant to each other whether a sin
is big or small.
Not when it comes to our relationship with
Allah, everything is big.
There is no small.
Okay? Because every sin is a crime against
Allah Every sin.
So we cannot say,
Look at how many
I'm doing, masha'Allah.
You know, I'm doing this and I'm doing
that, you know.
No. That Allah wants complete submission.
Complete submission to Allah
There is no halfway.
There is no halfway. You cannot,
you know, have your legs in 2 boats.
I
want to make you razi as well, but
I want to make my nafs razi as
well. It doesn't work that.
So in,
we really need to close the doors.
That means
we have to let go of the sunbat
of people who
attract us towards our life.
They're not our friends.
They're not our friends. You know, our masha'i
called this najinski.
Najinski,
you know, people
whose najinski or companionship
just points you towards duniya.
It may not even be like, you know,
they're actively involved in a life of sin.
But they are involved in.
Heaklessness.
And when they go in that direction, you're
getting pulled. Let's go out and hang out
in the mall, and
it's Eid
and Oak Tree Road,
So many opportunities.
Let's
we cannot. So these are not our friends.
So suhbat and our jinns, we have to
let go. And, you know,
people who are sensitive, who are whose spirituality
is sensitive to these changes,
a little bit of wrong sukha can have
huge impact.
You know, I was reading
that a person,
you know, he spent some time with an
with
an with an with an. You know, doing
like
etcetera etcetera.
And it just
it just took all of his internal
and his attention and his
and he started getting about
and Rasulullah
So he went to the Sheikh. He's like,
you know, Sheikh, I don't know what happened.
And then he explained that I was spending
time with an Aamil and he was doing
all sorts of
etcetera etcetera.
And so when he again spent time with
his elders, with his masha'il,
then Allah,
you know,
evades the darkness that he was feeling inside.
So this is what so much of Najid
imagine what we'll do.
It is written by Sheikh Al Hadid Hazemullah
Zapri
that there was a new Muslim. There was
a new Muslim.
And,
you know, sometimes, you know, in the madrasah,
they get break and it's Saharanpur. Right? So
they had a break and some children were
playing and this person liked to walk. So
he was walking around and
he came across like a sadhu, like a
yogi.
And you know how yogis are not careful
with their clothes, and they put stuff on
them and so this guy,
you know, this child, you know, he became
entrusted in. And so he's just, like, standing
there looking at, you know, what is this
yogi doing?
And then, you know, when he returned, you
know, he said he just felt like the
imam was taken out of from his heart
because he was sensitive to that.
And so he went to, you know, Sheikh
Khadis, he's like, Hazrat, you know, this is
what I feel. I don't I feel like
hardness inside.
I feel I can't feel my iman anymore.
That fire, that flame,
I can't feel it anymore.
So Sheikh Al Adi
asked him, what happened?
This is what I do. I went, you
know, after I spent time with Sukhbat with
that yogi,
this is what I thought. And so, Sheikh
Khaladhis
said, you know, go to Raipur, Hazrat, you
know,
Hazrat Zayput
go and tell him that this has happened.
So he took the journey, he went to
Raipur,
and he spent time there,
and the sheikh kept him with him for
3 days, and his and
the of the zikr.
After 3 days, you know, he felt. He
said that I feel like this darkness is
like melting away from my heart, and now
I can feel that iman in my heart.
You know, I I read that and I
was like, Allah answered.
It was just like looking at a yogi.
What do we look at
24 hours a day, 7 days a week?
We'll walk outside, you know, we'll sit in
the madrasa,
you know, Masjid Hanukkah. We'll walk outside and
we can't control our gaze,
sir. Weigh darts fitter.
Up and down, up and down, up and
down. We can't control.
If this person
felt that darkness within him, just by spending
time,
with the yogi, imagine
what kind of effect
must we have inside ourselves. We can't control
it. No control with the gaze,
no control over our tongues, no control over
our ears, no control over
situation of the heart, dilpang,
no control over our desires, no control over
our thoughts.
And look at how conceited we are. Look
at, like, how smart we think we are.
Nobody can see my thoughts.
They're just you know, they can look at
my life, so we pretend to be this
righteous and pious and virtuous self.
Only we know.
We know
What kind of felt
lives within us? We know it.
You don't need to tell anyone.
The problem is that on the day of
judgment, Allah is just going to open it
up.
Oh, I thought you were such a righteous
person.
Oh, my husband,
oh, my father, oh, my brother,
oh, my son. You know, you pretended to
be so righteous.
But this is what you're carrying inside?
Imagine
standing in front of Rasoolullah
and all that filth comes out.
So the title of transformation and change is
now.
So So that is the first thing. We
have to let go of this.
Okay. We have to become serious Muslims. That
means that enough. We just have enough. No
more.
Everybody makes mistake. Nobody's perfect.
But you know what we do? We insist
on it.
Insistence on sin is called rebellion.
That
is what Shaitan did.
That arrogance and you know, that led him
to rebellion against Allah
That is what he did.
And so we do exactly the same thing.
It's not that, you know, it's a big
or small thing. It's like we make
or we you know, we make these things
our habits.
I'm just gonna keep this.
1%,
my pleasure, you know, my thing.
And so, you know, Allah does not like
that.
Because that is still a sort of an
idol within.
Idol within ourselves.
Second thing is
after making sure that we are letting go
of a life of and
letting go of,
you know, suhbat of Najin's
suhmat that attracts us away from Allah
is that we have to be very extremely
careful with, you know, what we consume as
well.
You know this halal haram thing?
People think that it does not have an
impact. It surely does an impact.
It impacts our spirituality on such a deep
level that
certain
the person is unable to feel because they
cannot do of their naf just by eating
everywhere.
You know, there was a there was a
shirk in Darulun.
His name was Nenemiyah.
And he was a very poor person.
He used to cut grass.
And he used to sell the grass and
and, you know, he used to collect, you
know,
whatever he used to make from that all
year long. And then
once a year, he used to give Dawud,
Ishayya, to all the
ulama of Dawud.
And all the teachers of Dawud would look
forward to that day. Why? They used to
say
that once we eat the
once we eat from from, you know, from
Hazal,
For many many days at a huzuri, in
our salah, in our tahajjud, it stays with
us.
So it means we have to be careful.
Now I'm not saying stop eating your pizza
and falafel.
But, you know, we have to be careful.
Who is cooking our food?
You don't think there's going to be difference,
a person reading,
you know, Quran while they're preparing food, and
a person who doesn't even care about if
they are properly washed or not.
You don't think that has an effect? Of
course.
A poison is a poison even if you
take a little bit of that.
And so we need to kinda be very
careful about that. You know?
There was a discipline that came with Ramadan.
We ate twice a day.
Inshallah, let's try to keep the discipline a
little
bit.
Try to control our eating habits twice a
day. If we can survive,
for 3 days, you won't think we can
survive for 11 months? Of course we
can. And, you know, alhamdulillah, you know, we
have our mothers and our wives,
and at home,
we should, you know, we should try to
come into the habit of just eating from
home.
Try to avoid eating outside if it's possible.
Okay? There's more barakah in it. People who
will make wudu and people who are doing
while you're preparing your food
will see that effect.
Okay? So keeping that discipline.
Keeping that discipline. We were reading Quran throughout
this month. Doesn't mean that on 1st of
Shawwal, you read, that is the first thing
that we read. Okay.
If you can't read
one, that's okay.
Whatever you can read with and shock. That's
because that is what is required.
It's not the quantity. I'm not gonna I
never wanted the quantity.
If you can do, let's say, 2 rakuos
with zalk,
with that longing and yearning, with the sense
of presence, 2 rakus
again. If you can do quarter part, quarter
is okay. If you want to read 3,
that's fine too.
But consistency,
keeping with
that. Keeping with that. Alhamdulillah,
we
stayed up after isha, which is
very much a surprise. Right?
And then we
for hours, 2 hours, we did Tarabi. Okay.
So there's no Tarabi afterwards.
But what
about? What about just maybe 2 extra?
We stayed you know, we woke up early
in the morning for, you know, for suhoor,
and some of us, you know, we prayed
tahajjud as well. Why not
keep doing that?
Why is it that on the first day,
that is the first thing that goes? I
remember that I went to, Hanukkah.
And,
you know, the the masha'ikh, they they were
saying that, you know, for
for every Muslim, of course, there are 5
times
prayers that are mandatory.
But a person who wants to become a
true salikh, a mureed,
a seeker of Allah
they should
make sure that they're doing extra 5 salah
as well. Like, what extra 5 salah? So
they should also pay the Hajj.
They should also pay isharat.
They should also pay jashd. They should also
pay as,
and then, you know, if they can, they
should also try to read salatul tasbih as
well. If they can do it everyday, at
least every week, you should try to do
it. Why? Why is it necessary?
Because we are showing to Allah, Allah to
Allah, only You matter to us.
That's what it is. That is what it
is. You know, you go outside and,
you know, you buy something, you know, your
your wife sends you to go
grab some milk, and you come back and
you buy these extra flowers. Look, I was
thinking about you. Yeah. I know you didn't
ask for the milk, but here are some
flowers.
How do you think that makes the wife
feel?
Like, oh, subhanallah, you were thinking this way,
you brought these extra flowers.
You know, that's the sign of muhabbat. It's
the sign of muhabbat of Allah
is that we want to do
more and more and more, and we can't
get enough.
And also try to make this takamah. One
thing we learned during Ramadan was what exactly?
It'staka'al. It wasn't that we
fasted one day, and then we, you know,
we did not fast for like 2 days.
It was it'staka'al.
Constant aml.
Day after day after day, fasting, praying, zikr
al, Quran.
So we need to bring a little bit
of istakamah in our life.
This Amal with istakamah
are more beloved to Allah
than Amal with Isdal.
So,
what that means is that don't
try to be a rocket. And for 2
days, I'm just going to do everything.
Like, every hadith that I've read and every
zikr in that hadith, I'm going to do,
and and after 2 days, you're like sore
burned
that it becomes difficult for you to even
pray 5 times
Okay?
So we need to we need to become
very much
introspective about these things, and
carry these lessons of this blessed month with
us for the rest of the year.
For the rest of the year.
And if people are, let's say, suffering from
certain kinds of diseases, you know, we need
to challenge ourselves.
I've mentioned this before.
You know, Hazrat Tablihir Muttalat used to say
that,
every morning you start by challenging your nafs.
Every day is a different day.
You know, you do this you challenge your
nafs. Oh nafs,
I'm going to keep you in check.
I'm not going to do this, this, this,
this. So you challenge yourself.
And throughout the day, you are in a
state of
means vigilance, awareness.
Is my nafs like pulling me in this
direction that We know our trees, honestly. You
know, we know when we're about to sail.
We know it.
And so we stop ourselves,
right,
nip the evil in the body.
This is the
and at night, we do a
Then we need to do our
before
accounting is done.
So that's what we do. What did I
do the whole thing?
Did I control my eyes? Did I control
my tongue? Did I do hibat? Did I
slander? Did I lie?
Did I sink of bad thoughts? I mean,
we need to do this muhasiba.
And the last thing he said is the
Mu'as Hajjab,
punishing your own lust.
Isn't this ajib that will punish our children
for lack of discipline?
But we won't punish our own self for
lack of discipline?
If a child is does not have self
control, like,
can't control yourself, what's wrong with you,
go to your room,
no more dinner.
We'll punish
our children, but we won't punish our own
selves.
So
the is why do we say no? You
know what? You did this,
you're not getting cold water.
You're skipping a meal.
You're not sleeping on a warm bed.
Sleep on the floor. You know,
try it once,
inshallah. Try it once.
Sleeping on the on the floor without a
pillow,
please
It's just because we're not used to it.
The does whatever it wants.
I'm like, wait, man. It's okay. It's alright.
That's what we do.
So
we have to,
you know, we have to really
make sure that our tawba is pakka.
Tawba is tawba to nusur.
That when we say, we are going to
turn back to you, we are going to
make sure that You Allah, we are Your
true slaves and servants, that we are true
in what we are saying.
And All
we need to do is just have
that There is no doubt Allah subhanahu wa
rashes. His mercy rushes. His his his, you
know, his Tawfiq rushes to such a person.
But you have to have this sincerity.
Sincerity in the tawbah that we are doing.
And
Allah is so amazing. It doesn't matter. You
know, we you know, there could be a
kafir of a 100 years, but that sincerity
in its tawbah
is enough that even on their deathbed, if
they do that, it's enough to
clear all their life of sins.
It's just enough. There's so many stories like
that, Allahu Akbar. And you read that, you're
like, Allah Allah, know, we just want to
sacrifice ourselves
to We don't deserve it. We don't deserve
I'm not gonna just lost to forgive. And
this is the dua for these last 10
days.
SubhanAllah, may Allah send mercy upon us
who's hard as this. You Allah, you love
to forgive. It's not something you just you
just do.
It's something that you love doing.
So Allah forgive me
because you love doing you love to forgive.
So do something that you yourself like doing.
You're not gonna forgive me.
So,
whether on this
which could be the second of the last.
So
this is a a time of
for
sure. You know, our
but you read the the Quran with a
lot of talk and shawkh and
people who came to listen to the Quran,
Assumdulillah.
And now that we're finishing, this is this
is a sunnah of Rasulullah,
that, Hadid Ibrahim alaihis salaam,
you know, he used to do a dawd
with Nabi Salam, and Nabi Salam used to
repeat the Quran
every single nah.
And we all know from narrations that this
is a this is the month in which
the Quran had his nuzu, from the Asmani
to this physical universe. Right?
And all the rest of the books also
came in this month of Ramadan. So there
is that
special relationship
with the qalam of Allah
special relationship with Allah
Allah This is a month of barakasul.
Even one day
that is left, you know, we can't say,
oh, you know what? I couldn't change. No.
One day is enough.
It's coming in on. One day is enough.
So let's say if
we were not able to show our best
game during the last 28, you know, days.
It's
just one more day is not don't don't
despair.
Do not despair
to mercy of
Allah One day is enough, we wake up
and say, Allah Kareem,
I make tawma of and you know,
I make.
You Allah, I'm not going to, Allah,
indulge in anything that displeases you. You're lucky.
Allah, bring your hifazah for me, Allah, and
protect me from nafsashayk.
And that one day will be enough. I
can guarantee you that.
One day is enough to experience the highest
levels of nafsain shaydha. Just one day is
enough.
But it has to have that sirk.
Nobody can force that sirk. You can you
you know, you cannot have a nobody can
force a truth over others.
In other Sufyan Zohri he
mentions that,
you know, one of his neighbors who passed
away,
and, you know, he was an open fasr.
And, you know, some of our ulama and
masha'i, they refused
to lead jamaat, the salatul janaazah of open
fasil.
People who are open sinners.
So this person was a heavy drinker.
So Sophia Amsolli said, now am I going
to participate in this?
He went and started, you know, for for
a siesta for.
And in his dream, he heard a voice.
He said, Sofia Ansari, one of our has
passed away in your neighborhood. Go
and lead his salatul jannahs.
He woke up and he found out maybe
there's another person saying, no, this is the
only person who has passed away.
So he went and behind Padra, he asked
the the the wife of the the person
who had passed away, you know, what was
the condition?
What was the state in which this person
passed away?
And she said, you know, Sheikh, you already
know that he was an open sinner,
and he was completely rational.
From Allah
He did not do irimada. None of that.
But the only thing is that while he
was passing away, while he was taking his
last
breaths, he just turned his face to the
sky and he said, oh Allah,
oh Allah,
show mercy on that person
that neither has this dunya nor has.
Oh, Allah,
show mercy on that person who neither has
the dunya that I wasted away my dunya.
That time that Allah you gave me,
I wasted it.
And because of that, you Allah,
I don't even anticipate that I am going
to have an after as well. So I
turned to you only, you Allah, for your
mercy. There's nothing I can present to you.
Because the
there's nothing to patient in front of you,
I'm not kidding. Just have mercy. Your father,
your is the only thing that I can
count on.
And he said that, and he
took his last breath.
And those last words of humility,
humbleness,
when the heart broke,
I have nothing here. I have nothing left.
And so
the value of the what was to go
and leave the janaza of my wife. Subhanahu.
So never despair
in the mercy of Allah
The only thing that we have to worry
about, the sincere
and
the
of our
Mhmm.
You
really need to have the
Become a true mureed. That loves, you know,
murid.
You know, we have our, you know, brother
here. His name is murid as well.
Murid, you know, murid means somebody who has
true
true
and
we have to become true
of Allah
Allah. I have made this iradah.
Oh, Allah, that I have submitted my heart
and I have become yours. I have become
yours. So
yours. I have become yours. So
with that passion and with this niyah, we
will end this beautiful month of Ramadan
and we'll ask Allah that he extends his
protection over us, protects us from shaitan and
our own lafus.
