To run towards Allah
This
is running, this rushing.
It is a journey,
and this is something that we all have
to undertake, especially
as people who claim to
be
people who
make iqalah for Allah
Once you make the iqalah,
we said it before Ramadan,
that that iqalah has to be coupled with
himat
and that Himmat has to translate into action.
And so when we say, you
know, this is
rushing towards Allah
away
from Masihah.
It is rushing towards
Allah away from.
It is making Allah
our sole
in in our life.
Of course, he's our Mahbod, of course, he's
our Masood.
But
we have to make some effort to make
him
and to make him
in our life.
The purpose of our existence
That the opening of my eyes, the whispering
of my tongue,
me being alive, and even my dad.
Oh, my beautiful love. It is only for
your sake.
So this is.
Now
army like us,
you know, for us, this might look like,
okay.
Well, we have to
make this journey
with some from
a state of ignorance
towards a state of ill
knowledge, and this is why
we learn the sacred sciences
so that that
we have, all the best,
can be removed.
And we can get
the light
of this knowledge can penetrate into our hearts.
But, you know, even more than that,
you know, whether it is from to,
whether it's from,
so that is that we don't recognize Allah
subhanahu wa ta'ala.
So some recognition
of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala's
haybah, his barayeed,
Allah
his majesty, Allah
his sifaq, etcetera etcetera.
This is something that is really incumbent upon
each and every one of us to attain
in our life.
But also, you know, as a sadhik,
it's to get rid of this lethargy, this
custom that we have.
It's just
Or the proper word actually in which I
actually don't know the English of is called
It's like,
you know, not feeling that yearning and mourning
for.
Bizarre.
It's like this forced relationship.
But there is no just line there. There's
no there is no
feeling. There is no emotion.
There's no desire.
We're doing it for the sake of doing
it. A lot of us just do it
because we want to
have the bare minimum so we can avoid
the jahannam.
After all, nobody wants to go to jahannam.
But really
removing that
and that,
that procrastination,
that lethargy, that lack of
vigor, the lack of energy, the lack of
yearning, the lack of clogging.
And
replace it with true enthusiasm
for Allah.
But if I said,
you know, the ground is over there.
I hope you guys share
it. But
there's a yearning and longing. You know? I
wonder what it's like. Let me taste it.
Let me eat it. You can't stop thinking
about it. You can't stop you can't stop
wanting it. This is.
So that's sort of enthusiasm
for Allah
That sort of yearning and longing for him,
that you ache for him, that you thirst
for him.
And this is again something that all of
us should be able to bring it on.
And this is for army. This is for
the common Muslims. Muslim issue because when does
he know it's the sign of imam.
So when we say we are we are
Muslim, the sign of iman is the
And if
this intense and deep love for Allah is
not hidden,
Something is seriously, seriously wrong.
Seriously wrong. And we're not talking about the
Hawas and
also Hawas. No. We're just talking about people
of iman. We have to have that love.
We have to have that love that being
in our beliefs that we love. Remember? The
the difference that we spoke about last what
is the difference between, like, a, Chatel slavery
versus our being slave to Allah
that is
forced.
This is you just can't help it.
This is,
you know, your your knees weaken and you
fall
before your marbuud
with true submission. This is submission.
So for for
us is that journey from Jahadir, from
in the state of
not knowing Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala, that we're
able to
to recognition, to,
from to
to
vigor and enthusiasm.
Then what about the Hawas?
Hawas, it's, you know, as the Quran talks
about, it is
a metaphysical journey, you know. So they
they do firaar from the just haber into
a state of shahood.
Meaning,
from just here, haber is, you know, what
has been given to us
into this experiential
aspect
or dimension of the day,
of state of Mishawhi.
Or, you know, as the Quran talks about
it from an El Mu Yakin,
you know, taking the journey into
and
hopefully
landing into.
That the certainty, the
the certitude, I mean, it is so unparalleled.
Like,
there are certain truths that we don't have
to be convinced about. Like, if I ask,
what is the proof 1 +1 is 2?
It's like, well, this is, you know, it's
it's basic math that,
you know, you can't really prove it. It's
just this.
There's certain truths like that.
And if the truth, the of Allah subhanahu
wa ta'ala, that
and every aspect of,
you know, Allah is watching us, Allah is
with us, you know, Allahu Hadari, Nadari, Margi.
He's our Mahbouz, he's our Masood, and, you
know, and all of his beautiful names, is
the Yaqeen in each and every one of
us, the tawakkul, etcetera, etcetera.
So the Hawaz will want to make that
journey. I have gained the ill. I have
this base level,
but I need to make this
part of my means. So it is
from to this.
Something that cannot be wrapped.
Something that cannot be rocked.
This is really what the
what the used to do.
And, you know, we should ask Allah to
bless us with that that kind
of journey as well.
And it is a journey that, you know,
we
we kind of separate out anybody that is
Masaba.
And so, you know, we try to disconnect
from things that we were connected with. For
example, who doesn't like praise?
Who doesn't like recognition? Who doesn't want to
be known?
Who doesn't want to be looked up to?
You know, it's such a great position to
be.
Those are our basic instincts and passions that
normally everybody has, whether they use duniya for
that or need for that.
That's immaterial,
but people love it.
People love praise. People love
power. People love influence. People love, you know,
the recognition
and
all of that stuff.
And don't we use and the both for
that purpose?
You do. Oh, I have such a great
voice.
You know?
People will use that.
Oh, look at my articulation about certain aspects
of the people who use that.
I'm such a great orator. I'm talking about
the aspect of it. Right?
Do
we already know? Oh, I have all these
degrees. I have this house. I have this.
I have this. I have this. You know?
I have this much money. I know the
government.
So people use these things. These are things
that we are has to. And so the
will
do from that. They're mushy away from that.
They run away from that.
That is the sign
of Allah becoming a that you run away
from these. I don't want any recognition.
I don't want any
praise. I don't want any,
you know, shabash from anyone. I don't want
anyone but Allah subhanahu wa ta. This is
the devotion that we spoke about last time.
So the 5th the for
such people is this. This is godliness.
They just cut themselves off.
They they slaughter and slay everything within themselves
with their
soul
of That's it. Nothing good about it.
And so that is the that they experience.
Experience.
Right? So this is more metaphysically.
And 3rd is that, you know, you really,
you know, again, the concept of annihilation.
Nothing remains for you in your
sight. Yeah. In your sight, nothing remains for
Everything but your
just burns away.
Even your own journey
remains mad. Even you negate that.
You negate yourself, you negate your journey, you
negate your.
It's just,
you know, it's just pure love.
Nothing else. If you don't even look at
my old,
you are just so overwhelmed with this
that everything else is just math.
So that is what
said here. You can find people
that experience that as well.
So
at least
understanding the journey of this fira and then
making what will Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala that
he allows us to experience bits and pieces
of it in this Ramadan.
The the
gave us is communal
and that
that disconnect
is is communal as well.
And that
attachment to Allah
is communal
you know, for for his sake and his
sake alone. And
person who makes Nia, Allah makes it easy.
So Insha'Allah,
make the
niya. Put in the.
You know, that means, you know, we have
to we have to let go of certain
habits because we are, you know, embarking on
this
life transforming journey. It means we have to
let go of certain habits and behaviors
and things that hold on to
to our own nephews and, you know, all
the
and, you know, all these
habits that we have developed over a lifetime.
It's it's time that this is enough. It's
enough.
Let go of that.
Because you cannot do is
there. If the
the
if if nafs is too strong that, you
know, it's just holding you down like an
anchor,
And we are too susceptible to
the wasabi of shaitan,
then, you know, the journey will become that
much more difficult.
So, you know, it's it's
making that
and showing that.
Him.
So having the
that this is this is the path of
what you need. Means a continuous amal. It
doesn't mean you just do amal one day
or just in Ramadan and then that's it.
Amal Beham,
After one after another, what continues.
That love and this love and ishq of
Allah
is the conqueror of the world.
Jihad is in the that in the jihad
of this life,
that these are the source
of true men.
So we should have that,
and read the way and
traverse the journey with that.
So may Allah
bless us with that in this pre different
month of Ramadan.
