Abu Taymiyyah – You WAHABIS dont love the prophet because you dont celebrate Mawlid!

Brothers and sisters,

in this sitting,

we want to discuss

a matter that is going to be taking

place very, very soon

and also because of its commotion

and the fact that there's so many people

saying different things about it. Some people are

for it and some people are against it.

So we want to come InshaAllah

in this sitting and put this issue to

bed by bringing the statements of Allah Subhanahu

Wa Ta'ala, the Messenger Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam and

how the Sahabarid 1 Allahu Alaihi

understood

this issue. This issue is the issue of

Al Mawlid celebrating

the birthday of the Prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam.

What does the religion of Islam say pertaining

this matter?

Simply because

you find today that

certain people are accused

of hating the Prophet

or not loving him simply because they refused

to

participate

in the birthday of the Prophet

So inshallah wata'ala, let's take it back as

Allah Azzawajal told us to do

If you are ever disputing a matter,

then refer it back

to Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala and His Quran

and the Messenger sallallahu alaihi wa sallam I.

E. Sunnah.

If you are people that believe in Allah

in the last day. So this is exactly

what we're gonna do, inshallah wata'ala,

and take the matter back to the

Quran of Allah and

the sunnah of the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam.

So so the first question brother and sister

that I want to put forth to you

what is the true love? What is the

true love? What is the legislated love that

we should all have? Without a shadow of

a doubt, we have to love the Prophet

more than any person

that is in our family,

whether he's a relative, whether it is a

friend, whether it is the people that we

work with, the guy that's been helping us

out all our lives.

The prophet

said in a hadith that was narrated by

Imam al Bukhari

he loves me more than he loves his

parents, his children

and all of the people.

It came in another narration, the prophet

said also in Al Bukhari 3 things that

if a person was to find it, he

would find the sweetness of an iman. And

from the things that were mentioned,

to Allah and his Messenger are more beloved

to you than anything else.

There is a story

regarding

that he one time said to the prophet

I love

you more than anything

except myself.

So the prophet said to him, The

prophet

swore by

Allah

until you love me now more than yourself.

So Umar ibn Khattab then said,

You are more beloved to me than myself.

So the prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam said

to him, Now

this position that you have taken

is the correct position I want you to

take.

Nobody can be more beloved to us

than Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala as a messenger.

Brothers and sisters, what is the true love?

There's an eye in the Quran

where

Hassan al Basir explained.

Imam Ahmed

he called this verse,

Ayatul Mahana,

the verse of examination

where one is

tested, if he's a true lover of Allah

Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala and His Messenger. This verse

is the verse in Surat Alaihi Imran, where

Allah says,

say to them, oh, Muhammad,

and say to them, oh Muhammad,

that if they truly love Allah

then they should follow me.

Came. The tremendous

he said,

Some people claimed

that they love

Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala and His Messenger.

So he tested them

with this verse,

he tested them with this verse

to see the one that truly loves Allah

as the wajall in his messija. Because the

one that claims to love something, he's always

going to do that which Allah subhanahu wa

ta'ala told him to do. The poet said,

If your love was the truth, it was

it was true love,

and you had sincere love,

you would have followed

that individual.

For indeed, the one that loves,

He will follow the one

that he's claiming to love.

So the one that truly loves the messenger

if

the prophet says stand up, this person needs

to stand up.

If he says sit down, this person needs

to sit down.

In every command that Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala,

his messenger bring, it is upon this individual

to come and submit to it with full

submission, and this is the way of the

believer. Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala says,

It is only the speech of the Baribah

that when they are called now

to Allah

and His Messenger to judge between them that

they say,

we listen and we obey.

These people are the successful ones.

Brothers and sisters, pay attention with me here.

If the boss now tells us

to

do

something,

the reaction of most people is what?

That they do it straight away without any

hesitation.

Nobody doubts it twice. Nobody says anything. Why?

Because they wanna keep that job, and they

love their jobs.

So why is it when the prophet sallallahu

alaihi wa sallam comes and he says something,

we tend to have another reaction,

which is not the same reaction we give

when maybe the creation, the human being, speaks

to us.

The true love is,

brothers and sisters,

that we submit to Allah Subhanahu

Ta'ala's

messenger

with full submission without any
