Abu Taymiyyah – The Six Principles Three Jeylaani

Before we concluded our last lesson, we ended
at the
position of the second Asal,
the second fundamental where we were discussing
the importance of unity
and the prohibition of disuniting amongst ourselves.
One thing that I wanted to conclude with
where we didn't get a chance because of
the time,
a statement that Ibn Al Qayyim he
mentioned the end of his kitab al Furusiyatul
Muhammadiyyah.
And I wanna read this out because it's
a,
a command that Allah
commanded
those who are going out for war.
This has
the
best type of preparation.
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala, he says in the
Quran,
So here Allah
commanded
the mujahideen,
those who are going out for holy war
with 5 things.
And the reason why I'm mentioning this
brothers
and
sisters,
These five things never came together,
never came together inside a people except that
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
always gave them aid and assistance.
Even if they were just few in number
and their enemies were greater number, much more
than any number.
The first thing that was mentioned in these
ayat brothers and sisters was a sabat.
To be firm,
Once you meet the enemy, be firm.
The second thing that was mentioned,
to
excessively remember Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala much, to
have a lot of dhikr at that time.
Because the prophet salallahu alaihi wa sallam, he
said,
O people,
do not hope to meet the enemy.
And ask Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
to give you afirea, to give you a
good well-being.
Once you meet the enemy, be patient and
also know that the jannah is under the
sword,
under the shadow of the sword.
So the point is, brother and sister, these
5 things I'm mentioning, never did these 5
things come together in a people except that
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala assisted them.
And one of these was a The
second point was
to remember Allah
much.
The third point that was mentioned, brothers and
sisters,
was
and not to dispute amongst one another.
Because here Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala tells us,
Once you start disputing one one another, and
you start disuniting,
then this is the reason why you're going
to fail, and you're going to drop to
the floor.
The 4th point I was mentioned, brothers and
sisters, was
To
obey Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala's Messenger.
To obey Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala's Messenger, again,
is the 4th ingredient
of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala giving these people
assistance.
The 4th, the 5th point.
I'm on the 5th or the 4th.
5th point.
That which makes all of these other 4
things stand, and the foundation of it, it
is sabr, to be patient. Then ibn al
Taym
says,
These are 5 things.
These 5 things, they are like the dome
of victory.
If a people come with these 5 things,
they will always be assisted and given aid
to.
If all of these go missing or some
of it goes missing,
you will find that the victory
will go missing or depending on the amount
that went missing,
then because of that they will have problems
in their victory.
If all of these 5 things come together,
you'll find strength above strength.
When these 5 things came together among with
the companions,
these five things were made present in the
companions, the things that we just mentioned.
There wasn't a time when anybody dared to
come against them.
They opened the dunya, they conquered the dunya.
You find that the servant,
the slaves, the people in many different countries,
and also countries they were ready
to serve the companions.
Why? Because they had these 5 things.
Earlier before in the last lesson, we spoke
about why the Muslim Ummah is suffering.
Why the Muslim Ummah is suffering and then
how we need to go back to our
religion. If you ask yourself today,
the sunnah of the Prophet salallahu alaihi wa
sallam, how present is this in our lives?
That we are trying so hard, every step
that the Prophet took,
everything that the prophet salallahu alaihi wa sallam
prohibited,
are we trying so hard to apply it
1 by 1?
How much of that is apparent on them?
Do we look like the companions
in the way they dressed, in the way
they looked, how they acted, how they moved?
And then we wonder why the Muslim Ummah
is suffering because the prophetess clearly said,
until you come back to religion.
They brought about the hadith where we now
we talked about the
the corruptness
of Ikhtilaaf having differences amongst ourselves
and that it is not something that is
praiseworthy in our religion.
Ixtilafu
umati rahma.
There's a hadith that says, the Ixtilaf
within my Ummah is Rahma. It is mercy.
How can we now put this together with
everything that we mentioned?
Does anybody know?
Ikhtila for umati rahma differing and disuniting amongst
our ummah is something of a rahma.
The reality of the matter is, brothers and
sisters, the chain of narration for this hadith
is nadhu ghayif. It is weak.
And people have taken this hadith and they've
actually implemented this in their communities.
Thought it was okay
to differ in the usool ad Din.
If you wanna differ in the follower ad
Din when it comes to fiqh issues, me
and you are not going to have a
problem. But the moment we start differing,
And math is pertaining to tawhid, saying that
it's okay for a person to go to
the Prophet and ask him, You Rasool Allah,
give me this. You Rasool Allah, do this
for me.
This is not irrahma. Rather hadithaarum
ma'asooluddin. This goes against the fundamentals of our
beliefs.
No. 3rd one.
The third
Asal brothers and sisters and this is very
very interesting.
The third foundation is
That which completes
and brings together unity is
To listen and obey
to listen and obey to the person who
has
authority over us, like the ruler.
Even if he is an Abyssinian
slave.
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala made this very very
clear and manifest, and you can find this
very common in the textual evidences.
With many different from many different angles.
Sharahan,
from the legislation, you can find the textual
evidences.
That which we have seen taking place in
our day to day lives, that which Allah
Azzawal decreed in our realities.
And now bring some examples for that.
Then this now principle,
this foundation,
You find that even people who claim to
have knowledge, they don't seem to know the
reality of it.
How do you expect the people to act
upon
it? What the Sheikh is referring her brothers
and sisters, like number of textual evidence that
I'm going to mention when he's talking about
being obedient
and listening to the ruler and the ill
effects of not doing so. Statement of Allah
Subhanahu wa ta'ala,
Oh you believe, listen,
obey
Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala, the Messenger salallahu alaihi
wa sallam, and also the rulers who have
authority over you.
Once you start disputing with one another,
take it back to Allah and His Messenger.
There's so many hadith that I could mention
in regards to this topic. Just open up.
The most authentic book after the book of
Allah azza wa jal. And also,
al Bukhari. We know that the most authentic
book is Bukhari right after the Quran.
The next after that is Muslim.
There's a whole chapter in there called Kitabul
Imara,
the chapter of leadership.
And I just mentioned inshallah to Allah a
couple.
And in this hadith you will find that
the worst type of example has been brought
to you of who can become your ruler
and what you need to do.
He
said,
Is there after that akhair any evil that's
going to come? The prophet said, So
Hudhaifa said, how?
They will come rulers. They don't take my
guidance as a guidance. They don't take my
sunnah as a sunnah. Are these people who
follow Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala's Messenger based upon
this? No, it's not.
These are rulers that are going to have
misguidances
with them. Maasi with them. They're not going
to be following the Quran and sunnah. But
still, what do we do?
They will come rulers.
Their hearts are like the hearts of the
shaitan
in the body of an ins.
Can they get worse than this?
Can they get worse than this type of
individual?
So Hudayf ibn alimani radhiallahu ta'ala anhu,
he said,
What shall I do, You Rasulullah?
He said, In a direct dialect,
if you come to a time
while this is taking
place,
The Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam told him to
listen and obey. If this ruler comes he
beats your back and takes your money,
listen and obey.
I remember when I was in Alibbon and
that was when all these tawrat were going
on.
I was in Damaj and I left to
the capital Sana'a.
And where I was living,
this is where all the tents were. All
the tents. You had Ishtraqeen,
you had the
you had the you had the ikhwan, you
had all many different sects. All of them
are spending nights in the middle of the
road in their tents.
All these different groups they united in order
to revolt against the ruler. Abdullah salah had
a time, now there's another ruler.
And subhanAllah, I was in a photoshop.
That time I was trying to get a
passport picture.
The guy who was there was cheering the
man and so on and so forth. I
took him
to the corner even though I was risking
my
life. He could easily say to the guys
outside and all this, they're they're sitting there
in rows. People
who are totally against the ruler, they wanna
kill him.
So I take the guy to the corner
who's just shouting up and down, the guy
who runs this photoshop. I said to him,
this hadith.
I said to him, this hadith. I'm not
mentioning it from my own back pocket. It's
not my speech.
Speech of Rasulullah.
The prophet doesn't speak out of desires. I
tell him the Hadith, he goes to me,
no akh. No. No. No. No.
You bring him a hadith of the prophet.
It's like, they've never heard it. Where did
you get this from? He goes to me,
where did you get this from? Does it
require a lot of research to find these
hadith? It's not like I said to you,
you can find this hadith, Faisunan Surah Alimam
Al Bayhaki.
Like one of the later books
or one of the weaker books than these
authentic books.
Yesterday he was talking about how people they
go out and do innovation when there's so
many sunan
in al Bukhari. Like I gave the example
of the prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam used
to rinse his mouth after drinking milk. Most
people don't know about that. It's in Sahih
Al Bukhari Kitabruzzoo.
Kitabruzzoo is the 3rd chapter. You have Kitab
al Bilwahi Kitab al Iman then after that
Kitab al Il Kitab al Al Uzzu, the
4th chapter. Still in the beginning of the
Kitab, people don't know that. But they are
willing to go and do something that the
least we could say about it is doubtful.
Hadha Wasala. This is where the situation of
the Ummah has become.
A chapter, not just one hadith, there's a
whole chapter of a hadith like this.
Also, alimna Abbas radiAllahu ta'ala and again brothers,
you always find people who say, ahi, the
guy, you know he's committing Ma'asi, he's not
following the sunnah, he's not doing this, he's
not doing that. Of course and I'm with
you, I'm with you, I'm totally with you.
Look what the prophet salallahu alaihi wa sallam
said, Whoever
sees from his ruler
something that he dislikes, let him be patient.
Whoever now tries to cause discord,
tries to disunite the congregation, the jama'ah,
even if it is
the size of a handspun,
then this person, if he dies in that
situation, he has died a very ignorant death.
How many people in these muddhaarat?
In these muddhaarat brothers and sisters,
they died coming out. Women,
children.
Parents took out their children on the roads
of Al Yemen.
Protesting,
people retaliated
and a lot of people died away. Just
like that. Thousands of people, not just 1
or 2 or a 100, thousands of people
lost their lives.
Anas ibn Malik radiAllahu ta'ala Anhu he said,
and he has been placed as a ruler,
he's like a Abyssinian so Abyssinian slave.
Prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam tried to bring
this example that even if there's a person
who you see or you look at him
in a very lowly degrading way.
This is the Prophet saying and talking about
a slave. If this slave becomes a ruler
tomorrow, Alaikha Antutuya. You have
to
listen
and
obey.
What about he becomes with Kufr now?
Can we revolt against him if he becomes
with kufar?
He's saying yes.
Clear cut kufur. In all cases, unrestrictedly,
we're gonna take that now.
Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam rebadim Nasamitar radiAllahu ta'ala
Anhu, he said, The Prophet
Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam came and we gave him
bay'ah, we gave an oath of allegiance.
Alassam
to listen and to obey.
In ease and also in times of hardship.
Walmanshati
walmacra
also in the times where you know we're
going through a good time and also things
where you know disliking things are done towards
us
That you don't go against the ruler
except until you see clear cut kufr.
Yeah. Hamakulla.
Until you see clear cut kufr
and you have what?
You have proof for it.
To say the Haqq wherever we are and
not to fear the blame and the blameless.
Brothers and sisters, you have to understand, there
is conditions
when it comes to going against the ruler.
And I'll mention his example that the ulamai
put down.
Because brothers and sisters,
some may claim that some of these rulers
in the Arab string today, they were disbelievers.
And they may rightfully so have fallen into
Kufr and what they're saying is correct.
But now our religion has come with what
mentions There's lines of poetry we talk about
the benefits
and also the harms
that come out of an action that you
do. And I'm going to bring it now
InshaAllahu Ta'ala. The first condition
is
that
the Hakim,
he falls into clear cut kufr,
Not something that's Ihtimaal.
Oh, there's a possibility.
Maybe, you know, there's a chance 90% is
kafir. Now all night, there's not 90% kafir.
Alikhtiman, this is the principle brothers.
Possibility.
Chance or maybe there's a chance or doesn't,
you know, that doesn't go inside Babatak Fir.
Imam al Shirkani in one of his books,
he mentions that it has to be.
Just generally speaking about taghfir before you call
someone a kafir, it has to be clearer
than the daylight.
It has to be more clear than the
daylight.
As for the being possible, or maybe it's
a Kafir, maybe it's not a Kafir. La.
It has to be clear cut.
That you go and you establish the proof.
Why is that Al Shubha?
When you believe that this ruler now he
has fallen into Kufr.
There's 5 different Mawaniya. Iqamatul Hujwaizal Shuba 5
different preventative factors.
I don't want to go into this now
because we might not have enough time. But
when I taught nawakha alaihis salam on my
channel, you can find it on the YouTube
channel, where I went through this in 3
parts.
Today somebody just comes, he's giving out takfir
as if it's like, you know,
candy.
He's saying in his cafe.
I went through it in maybe one and
a half hours just the Masai'il Mawana At
Akfir
and the different things the scholars mentioned. So
you have to establish the proof. The guy
fell into kuford you can straight away say
you're a kafir. That's khatah, he might have
done it out of mistake. Like the hadith
of the person who said, Allahumma anti abdiwanarab
book. Oh Allah, you are my servant
and I am your No, none. Oh Allah,
you are my slave.
Allahumma antaabdiwanrubuk.
Oh Allah, you are my slave and I'm
your Lord. Because he was so excited he
mixed up the words
or it could be because of an nisyan
forgetfulness, alikra
being forced to do something. The 4th one
is the Taweel, and the 5th one is
Jahal ignorance. He might be doing something he's
ignorant about but he doesn't know.
To change, to have the capability
of removing the harm
without it leading to a bigger Mafsada.
Are you with me brothers and sisters? The
ka'idah has come with this. Our religion has
come with the ka'idah
that if you changing an evil is going
to lead to a bigger evil you don't
change it.
Where did we get this from? Did I
take this out my own back pocket? Or
my Sheikh told me look what Allah Subhanahu
Wa Ta'ala said in Surat Al Anam
Do not insult
the false gods.
Why? If this is now going to lead
to them insulting Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala. Which
one is the bigger evil?
Us insulting, that's permissible. I can say whatever
I want about
the the pig that the different religions whether
it's Hindu or this Baqarah or this cow.
Cow. I can say whatever I want.
Are you with me brothers and sisters? Allah
says in the Quran,
Here clearly Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala is quoting
Ibrahim where he's mentioning the deficiencies of them.
But sometimes if you're going to speak
ill about some of the other gods, going
to lead them speaking about Allah, which is
a bigger evil. You don't change it
because there's other Mafasid.
Having the capability
to put
a person in place that's going to be
able to establish the Sharia.
Does it make sense now, brothers and sisters?
You remove this kafir and then someone even
more worse comes in place of him.
Doesn't make sense. You're gonna cause all them
issues, cause all them problems.
And then later on, you're just gonna have
the exact same problem even worse.
Also what the people need to understand is
the people they need to have putram adiyyah.
You coming out with forks and kitchen knives
and the guy's got the dabaaba, he's got
tanks and he's going to blow your head
off.
Had also mayuakal.
You have to have
Ma'aqul. You have to be obviously Ma'aqul in
what you're doing.
So these are four conditions brothers and sisters
that I mentioned. And brothers and sisters look,
if it's going to be at the expense
of 1 person dying
then this is Umr adhim.
You revolting, exiting and just one person is
going to die the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam
he said in Hadid
that the whole dunya perishes.
It is more lighter in the eyes of
Allah A. W. J. Than 1 believer being
killed.
One soul being taken.
That the whole dunya perishes. It is removed
than one person dying.
Brothers and sisters, I ask you by Allah,
how many 100 and 1000 did you reach
in the Arab Spring? Till this very day
till this very day, we are going through
problems because we as Muslims are what? It
should hurt us. We're like a building.
When one Muslim
passes away,
every Yemeni
that I met after the Arab Spring, every
single one of them he mentioned.
And after I spoke to him, you know,
try to discuss these matters. They wish they
never revolted
because until this very day, Yemen is suffering.
When I went to Yemen, there wasn't any
issues.
We used to go to the same road
where people were being shot at, people being
blazed at.
We used to eat pancakes from there.
But now it became a campus
for what?
People to shoot one another.
People who had absolutely nothing to do with
these Mudaharaat,
these revolting and protesting, today they are suffering.
My grandma's living in Mukalla, she has to
suffer because of what some people done.
The rafidah,
the rejectionist,
those who cuss, Aisha radhiallahu ta'ala Anha.
They are getting more ability
and more
stability in Aliyamil at this moment in time.
Why? Because of the problems that was caused.
And this is as Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala
mentioned,
Corruption now became apparent on the earth because
of what the people done with their own
hands.
Now even the miskeen person
who had nothing to do with any problems,
he has to suffer as well. Look what
Zaynab bin Jashar radiAllahu ta'ala Anha. She said,
Anoohlaqofin
As Salihun. Will we be destroyed
and amongst us all the righteous?
If
evil now becomes a widespread, everybody's going to
get taken. When the adab comes or the
earthquake comes he's not gonna phone you Muhammad
you are righteous ta'ala. Leave.
I'm going to destroy everybody.
We don't have a prophet like Nuh alaihis
sala walking on the face of this earth,
where he says,
irkammaana
walata kunmaal kafireen.
Enter the ship with us and do not
be from the disbelievers.
The hada will come and take. But what
we do have is the Nasihab the Ulama.
Wallahi brothers, I remember
one of the sheikhs in Al Yemen called
Yahel Hajjuri used to shout from the Maj,
stay in your homes and he used to
recite Kitab al Imara to the people.
The chapter of leadership, you know what they
were saying? Oh, these are Umara,
these are Ulamal Hayriwan Nifas.
They are scholars for dollars.
They are scholars who are just looking at
the interest of the ruler.
Later on, people started coming to the Majh
saying, Yeah Sheikh, we're very sorry. We should
have listened. And more people started respecting the
Sheikh.
Scholars for dares, oleiman Haydul Ifar. You don't
know what Haydul Ifar menses
and post natal bleeding. You know the post
natal bleeding that a woman has after giving
birth? They were saying all these scholars in
Saudi
and in Yemen, they only know about fiqh
issues. The rulings to give about when a
woman's on her monthly period. They only know
about that. They don't know the wakya.
They don't know the reality that we are
in.
And then later on they realized now lamma
ufsidal bilad wal Ibad.
Now if you want to take want to
take our children to Al Yemen, the magic
got destroyed. Where we studied was destroyed. There
used to be 10,000 students there.
When the leader got dropped, the rafi that
came, no one's there to stop them. Right?
They just started blowing the place out.
Everybody had to move. The country now is
in turmoil.
All because of the people they decide, oh,
we know the Waqah, the ulama. They don't
know what they're doing. They're backwards what did
Allah say
when someone are presenting public safety and fear
comes they start taking things into their own
hands.
If only they took it back to their
rulers
and also the messenger salAllahu alaihi wa sallam.
So Qadran, what the Sheikh here is saying
to give you examples of what took place.
Even if you look in Tariq,
we don't even need to go into Tariq,
we can just see now everybody's regretful who
lived in them areas, who wished they never
came out.
The things that took place in real life.
In another hadith he says,
Whoever now harms a Muslim
without truth or without justice,
it is as if he has destroyed the
house of Allah azza wa
Jal. That's what
the menzilah of hurting someone is.
Imagine if we know that people are going
to hurt can get hurt.
There's another narration, but even though it is
da'if,
they mentioned it with this narration,
To break and destroy the Kaaba and to
move it 1 by 1 to get the
stones of the Kaaba and to remove it
and then take another one and then take
another one and to destroy the Kaaba like
that, it is Ahan.
It is lesser
of a problem than killing 1 Muslim.
And brothers and sisters, this is like the
cream on the cake, what Sheikh Al Samu
Adhim
mentioned.
Look what he says and how applicable it
is today in our time. He says,
Whoever from amongst the believers
is on a earth, is in a situation,
or in a country, wherever it might be,
and he is weak.
Or at a time where he's weak.
Let this person
act upon the verses that talk about forgiving
and forgetting.
The Prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam in the
beginning of his time.
Did he come out and start taking out
grenades
and start taking out knives and swords and
killing everybody in Al Makkah when he was
calling to a tawhid? Now he was quiet,
right?
He would just turn his head and he
would make dua and he would carry on
doing a tasbih.
Hoping there's gonna come a time when everybody
is going to enter into the religion wholeheartedly.
So hear the Sheikh, you know, subhanAllah, when
you look at the works of Sheikh Alissamayatamia,
I'm not trying to say he's with us
today or he's everywhere. What I'm trying to
say is is as if the Sheikh with
his works, he wrote pieces of
works and he gave advice that would be
applicable in every day and age, every time,
every place that we're living in. So many
of the stuff that he says.
SubhanAllah.
And isn't that now relevant here?
So let him now act upon the verses
that talk about being patient and forgiving and
forgetting.
Those who harm Allah, the messenger salallahu alayhi
wa sallam from minal ladinuutul
kitab al mushikin, from the people of the
book and the mushriks.
As for the people of strength.
As for the people who have strength and
they have the capability to make some men
happen, what do they do? They act upon
the ayat which talks about going out to
fight. Those people of the im of Kufr,
those who
insult the religion of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala.
I would have gone on
to Kafi'a to
Tawali Al Khalifa tul Muslim.
We have time, right?
Here we got 5, 7 minutes.
Taib,
how does a Khalifa, a ruler take leadership?
The first hariqa brothers and sisters, Alikhtyarwaltintikhabmin
ahlilalhalli
wal acht.
That the scholars and the people who have
positions and power in the community,
they come together and they choose.
They come together and they choose
who is most deserving now to take rulership.
Like what they've done with the Khilaf of
Abu Bakr Siddiq.
Like what they've done with Abu Bakr Siddiq.
Siddiq.
Like what happened to Amr Al Khattab. That
the one who was before who was in
charge, just before he dies, he gives that
responsibility to somebody else. Just like what happened
with Umar Al Khattab.
Umar Al Khattab
was given the responsibility by who?
Abu Bakr radiAllahu. Before he died, he gave
the will that Umar ibn Khattab should become
the ruler.
The 3rd tariqah,
even though it is impermissible even though it's
impermissible, but if it happens,
to come out and barge your way through,
and overcome and take over.
Let's just say for example, a guy he
brings together his jayish, his army,
and there's a ruler in place. Even if
he's Muslim,
he goes and he slaughters him,
chops his head off, and then he takes
over the kingship.
Once this now take place and he's taken
over and the matters have settled to him
was There's
a unanimous agreement that you now have to
listen and obey to this ruler. Even if
he's person who is what?
Someone who's misguided.
Who's Hafid ibn Hajar?
Ibn Hajar al Askalani.
What is he known to have done?
He wrote the explanation of Sahil Bukharaj, zakalakhar.
He
said,
He said that
the scholars of fiqh. They have unanimously agreed
that it is Wajib upon you to obey
the rule who has taken over by force.
And that you fight behind them.
And that you are obedient to him, it
is greater
than revolting against him. Because the moment you
start revolt, what's gonna happen? Bloodshed.
Everybody is going to be fighting.
And we can see what's been happening
in Somalia for how many years
there was no ruler.
How many people being killed?
And even the people, how excited they became
now when somebody took over
because they became tired of the situation they
were in.
Taib,
another very hassasi mess hallah.
Some people they tend to sometimes accuse the
Ahlul Sunnah and some of the other scholars
whether they might be in Saudi Arabia or
in Aleman or in Kuwait or any other
country. The moment they say, listen and obey,
your scholars for dollars. Why are you defending
her for?
Brothers and sisters,
what is the correct position? If that ruler
is committing a zul,
is it correct now for a scholar to
defend it? Lao Allahi.
And this is their position. They don't go
and defend the mistakes of the ruler.
Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala, he says in the
Quran,
do
not dispute on behalf of those who
oppress themselves for you to say no no
whatever you're doing is right. Lao Allah, they
don't do that.
Also another hadith,
The Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said, whoever now
assist them in their zul, these people are
not from me and I'm not from them.
And these people are not gonna drink from
my pond.
We do not defend their mistakes.
But at the same time,
is it now correct to stand on the
mimbar and blast the ruler?
Had a list goes against the Sunnah, the
prophetic tajina of Prophet salallahu alayhi wa sallam.
Prophet salallahu alayhi wa sallam mentioned in the
hadith, man arad ayan sahayani sahaliwe sultanim
Whoever now wants to advise a ruler, let
him take him by the hand, and let
him be alone with him.
Fa'inka nakad nasa'ofor wathalik.
If he advises, takes the nasihad and jayid.
If he doesn't take the advice,
fakhad ad ledi alaihi.
He has fulfilled. The responsibility
is upon him.
And this is exactly what scholars do. The
moment
you mention that you need to obey the
ruler, I never said this. I gave you
all these a hadith. The Prophet said in
the hadith,
They don't take my sunnah as a sunnah,
and they don't take my guidance as a
guidance. Their hearts are like the hearts of
the shaytan in the body of an inch.
And on top of that, you've been told
if he beats your back, takes your money,
listen and obey. Am I saying that?
Rather their mistakes is not defended
and at the same time you listen and
you obey. If he tells you to do
something haram, you don't accept it.
Why?
There is no obedience to the creation if
it means it's obedient to the Creator. That's
the hadith of the Prophet sallallahu alaihi wa
sallam.
InshaAllah, we're gonna have a 10 minute break,
Bina Laihi Ta'ala, and then
it's up to 7.
And an explanation of the one who tries
to resemble them but is not from them.
And Allah has explained this foundation at the
beginning of Surah Al Baqarah in His saying,
oh children of Israel, oh children of Israel,
remember My favor which I bestowed upon you
and fulfill My covenant and I will fulfill
yours.
Up until he's saying, oh, children of Israel,
remember my favors which I bestowed upon you
and how I favored you over all the
worlds. And what increases this in clarity is
what has been explained by the sunnah concerning
this with abundant clear and manifest speech that
is clear for the common person.
Then this affair became the strangest of things
and 'in man fiqh were considered to be
innovations and misguidance.
And the best of what was with them
was was truth mixed with falsehood.
And the actual 'imla Allah, the most high,
obligated upon his creation on which he praised,
then no one spoke of it except that
he was considered the heretic,
a heretic or insane person. And as for
the one who rejected the salim and authored
in warning against it and prohibiting it, then
he was considered to be the Faqih and
the Alim.
In this section of the Kitab here, the
Sheikh has began to speak about who the
real scholars and what knowledge
is and who the real fuqaha are.
Because brother and sister you'll find as time
goes on.
As
time goes on, you find that the Amin,
the trustworthy individual, he is seen to be
a liar.
And the person who is a liar, today
he's seen to be what? As truthful.
It's not mean that it's bound to happen
in the end of time as the prophet
Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam told us. And he
told,
They won't come at time except that the
time that comes after is even worse.
And brother and sister, who I've seen time
and time again,
especially here
because of the standard being so low,
we refer to Sheikh or refer to people
to be Masayikh
or Ulama. We go as far as saying
Ulama. Even though these kalimat brothers and sisters
to be called Sheikh
and Alem is Thaqeel.
He's very very Thaqeel. But anybody that goes
on the member,
he gives a little Khutba from the top
of his head. He's called a Sheikh.
Brothers and sisters of allay when you go
to Al Madinah and place it like that
it really really humbles you. You have people
who have memorized Bukhari and Muslim.
Bukhari and Muslim
and not just like I memorized 1 Hadith
and then Khilas. I forgot it later on.
These are people of Buluq Al Maram, a
hadith in Fiqh on lockdown
like water.
They learn how to memorize a hadith backwards
and I was talking about this yesterday. There's
a very deadly halaqa in the Prophet's Masjid.
They teach them how to,
read the hadith backwards and if you make
2 mistakes you're gone. Assalamu Alaikum.
Or you allow 2 hesitations. You hesitate twice.
He might let you off. Asha'idim Al Khan,
these people are walking on the face of
this earth of memorized Bukhari and Muslim and
at the same time You Arifuna Qadrahum.
They know their levels. When you see mountains
in Al Madinah in the Prophet's Masjid who
have been teaching for 40 years only then
they were started being called Sheikh and being
taken seriously.
We'll really appreciate and understand who the real
scholars are.
Ilham is not 5 years, 6 years, I
started all of a sudden Khalaq's Sheikh. A
guy comes back to Britain. He writes his
whole autobiography. I got Ijaz in this and
I got Ijaz in that and I got
and everybody's referring to him as a Sheikh
Al Islam.
Rather brothers and sisters,
Yani
SubhanAllah,
Shasal Has Suhaimi
who is seen as the Sheikh of the
Mashaikh in Al Madina.
They seem to be like the next in
place when Sheikh Abdul Muftain Abad was like
the Muft the Muhadith of Al Madina.
Sheikh Abdul Muftain Abad is over 90 years
old. He's been teaching on that sheikh for
Allah knows
best. He's gone through Qutubah city in 32
years. Sorry. 23 years.
They say that this Sheikh, Shahsara Suhaimi,
when he went to Kuwait,
we're discussing this once in the car as
well.
I always tend to mention this before a
lecture because the moment you get on the
chair, oh, the Sheikh and so on and
so forth. Sheikh Heya Sheikh Salaam. So Amy's
beard is white.
He's over 80 years old brothers and sisters.
When they were introducing him
they started saying, jalallama
wal fakhih.
And they're giving him such a great introduction.
And he mentioned straight away brothers and sisters
The difference between Talib and Toileb. Talib is
a student. Toileb is someone that's even more
of a younger student,
smaller in knowledge. Because brothers and sisters don't
say this and people always say this. I
hope to be from the most smallest of
students. That's all I want to be.
Another sheikh who I studied with in haram
Khoshek Soleiman Rahile, while he was sitting in
the haram
he goes before I answer the question, I
want to mention something.
Because I see my brothers every time they
send out a message that has a lecture
of mine on there, they refer to me
as Fatihul Madina
or Alimul Madi or Alama.
And Sheikh are kind of very upset.
This Sheikh people know he is something immense
when it comes to fiqh. They're amazed with
his knowledge. He teaches in haram.
Because, Wallahi, if it wasn't for the fact
that, you know, Sheikh, the word Sheikh is
used for people like me even that wouldn't
have accepted
it. This is the kind of humility brothers
and sisters that some of these Mashaikh and
scholars. And if someone comes and calls us
Mashaikh
or anybody who's been studying 4 or 5,
you know, years and all of a sudden
now he's being seen as the the new
Sheikh in the country.
So Bayan Al Almi Wal Alama.
As I mentioned before brothers and sisters,
Muhammadunlehambal,
Imam Muhammad Rahimullah Ta'ala said, that the people
are in need of knowledge
more than they are in need of what
food and drink.
How many times do we eat on a
day to day basis?
And as someone is here that has,
you know, 6 7 meals a day. Normally,
what's the average that we eat?
Abdullah, how many times do you eat a
day?
Three times.
Anybody else is more than that?
There's no aibinet laba sabihi.
So if you're gonna eat, and the third
is for your food, a third for your
drink, and the third is for
what? Hawa.
To breathe.
Labas.
Some of the scholars, they used to eat
once a day because they feel like if
they eat too much or they have 2
or 3 meals, they're not going to be
able to study
and they're not gonna be able to wake
up of qiyamulayl.
May Allah make us like them. Labas, labas.
We're in Britain. We're in Britain. We're used
to chicken and chips, which has
a lot of that,
what's that word I'm looking for?
No, not calories. It's a word. MSG.
MSG, they say in a lot of these
foods that makes us addicted to things like
chicken and chips and all these fast food.
They've got something in there called MSG
that makes a person addicted. Because we're so
addicted, we can't settle for maybe 2, 3
meals we have to keep eating.
That's why I don't eat it. I don't
eat chicken and chips.
One of the signs of Aileen, brothers and
sisters, is a Hashiya.
What's the difference between Hashiya and Hov?
Hov is what?
Fear, right?
What is kabur about khashiach? I know the
salah of the haram. I mentioned this the
other day.
Hashe is with knowledge, j, jameel.
And hov?
Fear.
The dog comes, we, mashallah, our community tends
to be scared of a dog more than
anything else. The dog comes, we get scared,
we run the other side. Right?
Pakistanis, apparently, they're not scared of dogs,
but we
are. So
something scares you and then you run away,
you become scared. Khashia is to fear Allah
Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala of knowledge.
You came to know about this verse in
the Quran, this hadith of the prophet sallallahu
alaihi wa sallam. And what do you do?
You refrain because you fear the punishment of
Allah azza wa jal. There's a lot of
people who don't give 2 hoots.
No matter how many ayat
read on them, how many hadith are mentioned,
their heart is Qasi.
It's hard.
The Quran is not touching your heart, brothers
and sisters. And the Quran touched.
Made the Jibil move.
If the Quran was to come down on
this mountain you would find it shaking.
And our hearts it doesn't shake which is
much softer.
It's like a piece of flesh.
If I was to cut it, it'll cut
straight away.
I think it's 7 o'clock now InshaAllah Ta'ala.
We'll go deep into
this topic later on. We can have a
10 minute break,
and
we will come back at 7:10. 7:10,
brothers.
No. 7:10.
7:10 insha Allahu Ta'ala and we'll, go into
the next part and try to finish the
book. And also if anybody has any questions
pertaining the lesson, please write it at the
end insha Allahu Ta'ala pertaining the lesson.
We're not muftis or anything like that to
talk about everything pertaining the lesson.
