Brothers and sisters, especially those
who are currently studying with us in Madrasa
tuloumariyah and everyone else generally.
Today I want to speak about insha Allah
The difficulties that the salaf went through
when it came to pursuing knowledge.
Just to make you aware, brothers and sisters,
so that,
you know, people's iman,
even though sometimes it might drop,
that this is part of life.
The difficulties you might go through. Because it
might be the reason as to why a
person, he falls off after
embarking on seeking
knowledge.
So, just to make you aware of the
Quran al Mufaddala.
The
3 golden generation, the scholars of hadith who
came after them, hopefully bi'in will
be as a motivation
for things that
might take place in your lives. And you
could be going through it at this moment
in time.
Sometimes
a question arises.
Why would some of the scholars of hadith
and some of the salaf
sell their pans and their pots
and even the trunk in their house.
The trunk that's holding their house together. Why
would they sell it in order to just
seek knowledge? What was so great about it?
Why did they go to such an extent
of just wanting to learn a hadith of
the Prophet salallahu alayhi wasalam?
You know brothers and sisters, there's a hadith
where the Prophet salallahu alayhi wa sallam. He
said,
2 categories of people they do not become
full.
The person who is pursuing knowledge, he doesn't
become full.
And a person who is running after the
dunya, he doesn't become full.
And there's another hadith that explains the
latter part of this hadith that I just
mentioned.
When the prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam told
us about a person who's chasing the dunya,
that if he had one mountain of gold,
he wants another.
And the only thing that can fill that
person
is if he gets dirt and you stuff
in his mouth. The dirt that gets filled
or that fills his mouth up, that's the
only thing that can fill him. Brothers
and sisters,
they tasted the sweetness of knowledge
and the whole life depended on it.
They carried on, they carried on, they carried
on. And this is where they found happiness.
Even though they went through trials and tribulations,
this is where they found surur,
happiness.
They rejoiced with it.
Until some of the salaf, they mentioned,
If
the kings,
those in authority, only they knew.
That which we are in, from the blessings
that we have.
They were affought us
with their swords.
They found ultimate happiness.
Their lives changed
because it's as if they could see
Aljannat in front of them with that which
they were studying.
Because this knowledge, brothers and sisters,
if a person,
he corrects
his intention
and he carries on pursuing it,
It's an easy path to Aljannah.
That which we are all trying to gain.
As the Prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam told
us,
Whoever pursues
a
path of seeking knowledge, then Allah Subhanahu Wa
Ta'ala will make his path to Arjannah much
easier.
So inshaAllah Wa Ta'ala, I want to mention
stories of the Salaf.
Some of the difficulties they went through.
Just to preserve this religion.
You know brothers and sisters that we show
the honor of knowledge.
And it is sufficient to see
the honor of knowledge
It's a statement of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala
when He commanded His
Messenger. Waqul
and say, O Muhammad,
raab bizidni a'ilma.
Oh Allah increase me in knowledge. My Rabb
increase me in knowledge.
Ibn Hajr al Askalani rahimullah wa ta'ala he
said,
This is clear indication
of the virtue of knowledge.
Because Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala never commanded his
Nabi, his Prophet,
to ask for an increase in anything. Means
shayin,
Ilaminuilmin,
except in knowledge.
He did not ask him to ask for
an increase. Even the Prophet SAW Allah WA
SAW was commanded
to ask for an increase
by making du'a to Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala.
One du'a, brothers and sisters,
that you make to Allah Azza wa Jal
could be the reason why
you become a scholar and you benefit the
ummah through it.
The Prophet was asked to make du'a, and
you are being taught to make du'a to
Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala.
Wherever the Prophet
was commanded,
unless
a proof shows that it was specific for
him, then we need to also
fulfill that and ask for it.
All student of knowledge.
When is the last time you asked and
made dua to Allah? So to give you
tawfiq in talabilil.
Or to ask for an increase. You could
be really really struggling in a very simple
matter.
And you carry on struggling.
And that struggling doesn't finish.
Maybe if you
turn to Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala and you
put your hands up to him. And you
ask Allah to open it up for you.
It could be the reason why
you run through these Masayl.
This is why Ibn Taym
what he used to do is,
sometimes if something became very difficult,
he would go
and he would you know what a dog
does on the dead? When he moves his
body around?
On the floor.
Out of tawadah to Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala
and humbleness to him, he would smother himself
on the dead.
And then he would make du'a to Allah
Subhanahu wa'ta'ala.
Allahumma,
O Allah. O Allah. O Teacher of Dawud
and O the One who made Sulaiman understand.
Give me an understanding. Make me understand this.
As Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala tells us.
What gave Suleyman an understanding?
So ask Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala for an
increase and beidn Allahu Ta'ala, things will be
opened up for you.
So if you're an authority,
he said,
There isn't an action that is more virtuous
than seeking knowledge. But,
if the intention is correct.
Maybe you are failing
because your intentions are totally incorrect. That hadith
that we've heard a 1000000000 times, and I'm
going to mention for a 1000000000 and 1st
time.
That no actions are accepted except with the
correct intention.
Scholars they say every chapter of fiqh should
be started with this. Volumes can be written
on it brothers and sisters.
Just this hadith.
Sometimes
if a certain work of a scholar wasn't
given qubur, wasn't accepted,
sorry, maybe something happened to it, Maybe it
got lost. The scholars, they would say to
themselves, maybe my intentions are not correct.
And because of this,
some of the scholars they say about Riyadu
Salihin,
the kitab of Imam An Nawwah
The fact that you find it in every
house and that the Umma or the majority
of the Muslims
have taken it with acceptance
shows the sincerity of Imam An Nawwah
The 'alim
is more better than the zahid, the ascetic
individual who
stays away from the dunya. The
one who strives in the Ibadah.
This is what the scholars are saying about
these kind of
people. You know, brothers and sisters, if you
look at some of the Sahaba
And I want to mention to you insha'Allah
3 narrations pertaining to suhabah taridwanullahahi
alaihim. Before I go into some of the
matters that
give us or teach us about
the difficulty that some of the salifs they
went through. And I've given this lesson to
some of the sisters that I teach. When
we are studying certain books, sometimes you need
a lecture to inspire you.
And to bring that zeal or desire back
to seeking knowledge.
And hopefully Bayin Nillay Ta'ala can do the
same here.
Abdullah ibn Mas'udur radiAllahu anhu,
he mentioned a very powerful statement.
And you know, brother and sister, one thing
I've realized
is before someone else comes to kill our
aspirations,
we tend to kill our aspirations
from the beginning.
By telling ourselves I don't see myself teaching
the people. I don't see myself
benefiting other. I don't see my self, people
sitting around me and benefiting from me or
me giving khudbas and lectures.
Why is that you see that about yourself,
brothers and sisters?
When
Allah says,
The giving of your Lord is not restricted.
We know guys who are selling drugs, who
are running around on the streets. Allahu Azzawajal
flip their eyes around.
And now all of a sudden they are
benefiting thousands of people.
People who are in ignorance.
People that we now see
and we ask Allah Azzurra guidance for.
They are benefiting the Ummah.
With thousands of people benefiting from them.
Through Dua,
amazing things can happen.
Abdullah Nasr radiAllahu anhu, he mentioned a statement
after
the Prophet passed away and the khulafa ar
Rashideen, the 4 great companions of the Prophet
they passed away. He mentioned a statement that
should be something that we ponder upon and
we think about. Before you go to sleep,
you think about the statement.
He said,
Upon you is to seek knowledge before it
gets seized.
And the knowledge disappearing
is also its people disappearing. How does the
knowledge disappear through its people disappearing? Oqala biahili.
It's people they
pass away.
And then he said
Upon you, you seek knowledge. Repeating it twice
now.
For indeed, one of you doesn't know. You
don't know when there might come a time
when the people are going to be in
need of what you have.
Do you think the people who were benefiting
from Abdullahi and Mas'ud when the Prophet was
around? Or when the likes of Abu Bakr,
Umar, Uthman and Ali were around?
Of course they are the elite of the
Sahaba.
People are going to be going back to
them as they are the best of them.
It doesn't make sense now, for example, if
I have Sheikh Salih al Fazan around me,
that I come to Britain and I ask
one of my friends.
Doesn't. Why? Because it's from the elite of
the
scholars that we have upon the face of
the earth today.
He's saying this after they have all passed
away.
Do you think Abdullah my sir, brothers and
sisters, he started seeking knowledge after they all
died and passed away?
Or was it from day 1 when the
Prophet was around, he was there writing down
the hadith, learning it, memorizing it?
He began
from a very young age. He was someone
that Allah
gave a very long life.
And he mentioned his statement now because the
people are benefiting from him. They are taking
the knowledge from him
and Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala
has raised him in the eyes of the
people. As we're going to come and learn
now.
Also something happened to Ibn Abbas radiAllahu anhu.
And it's an amazing story.
When the Prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam passed
away,
he was
15 years
old. One of his contemporaries said to him,
Halum Mabinah
Nis Allahu Ashabar Rasulullah SAW Alaihi Wasallam
Let's go out now and ask the companions
of the Prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam.
For indeed today, they are many.
They are a greater number.
Amazement,
astonishing is your affair, O Ibn Abbas.
Do you think the people are going to
be in need of you, Ibn Abbas?
He said, O Ibn Abbas, striving and seeking
knowledge, working hard, putting effort into memorizing and
learning.
He says, Do you think that people are
going to be in need of you?
When they have the likes of Fulan, and
Fulan, and Fulan, from the great companions of
the sahaba.
You know Ibn Abbas radiAllahu anhu what he
done?
He said,
I left him and I carried on seeking
knowledge.
There would be times brothers and sisters,
Ibn Abbas
he would be sitting outside a door, a
house,
in the burning heat.
And the heat that we have in lovely
Britain here wasn't the same as the one
that they had over there. Or the wind
that we have here wasn't the same as
the wind that you find in the Arabian
Peninsula.
That kind of wind, brothers and sisters,
it carries with it
dust particles, sand.
And it hits you in the eye.
Sometimes at Dorta time you find in places
like Yemen. Sometimes we used to walk and
a big wind would come and a white
thaw that I was wearing it would become
sandy.
You can even smell the dust on it.
Ibn Abbas
He said,
sometimes
I would take
a scarf and I would put it around
my face.
And I would be waiting.
And the dust would come and would hit
me.
So the man that he was waiting for
would come out and he would say, Fayakulu,
You ibn Amr Rasulillah.
O cousin of the Prophet sallallahu alaihi wa
sallam,
If only you called for me, I would
have come to you.
It is more of a right upon me
to come to you and ask you.
Look what happened.
So this man, he remained to see
that the people had gathered around me.
This man, this first man initially who belittled
him said,
This young boy,
he was smarter
than me.
That man, he turned away from knowledge. Badim
N Abbas carried on.
People sat around him and they were seeking
knowledge from him.
And he brought out the likes of Mujahid,
Ta'us, Ata,
and other than them,
from those when you open up now, tafsir
al Tabari, tafsir al Khortubi, tafsir al nakaseer.
And other than the Qudu of tafsir, their
names are filled in these books.
They are filled with the names of Mujahid,
Hata, Tawus and other than him. From those
ibn Abbas radiAllahu anhu he
taught. Sufyanath Thawr said about one of his
students, Mujahid, idajai ke tafsir almujahidin
If a tafsir now comes from Mujahid,
that is sufficient for you. You don't need
anything else.
Brothers and sisters,
this is what
knowledge done to a person.
Persisting on seeking knowledge and carrying on carrying
on carrying on until there came a time
when the people turned to him.
So don't belittle brothers and say, thinking to
yourself, there's no need me doing this. There's
already enough brothers around.
There's enough mashaikh. These mashaikh, what happens when
they go now or something happens to
them? People need to take knowledge from.
And because there's lack of people around now
in certain places,
you find that ignorance is more widespread in
them places than others
when you find people of knowledge there.
No matter who you are brothers and sisters,
no matter how black you are, how white
you are, how dumb you are,
if you're a slave, if you're a king,
you're someone who has authority.
If Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala
sees that knowledge with you,
Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala will raise that individual
and He won't allow that knowledge to go
to waste.
People will benefit.
Even if they are few, that knowledge will
be benefited from you.
As Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala told us
Allah wazda wa wa Ta'ala raised a person
who
believes as iman and also has come with
knowledge.
And that which will show you this is
this narration.
Avnafi arahima hollahu ta'ala
who was Mawl adullahi wa nuhmar.
A lot of time when you find the
hadith of Abdulayb Nuhmar in the chain,
you find before him Nafir.
He was a servant of
There was a time when Nafir,
who used to work for Umar Al Khattab
He met him in a place called Asfan.
So he asked him the question, who did
you leave the people with, You Umar?
So he said,
I left a man called Ibn Abi Abzah.
So Nafir asked who is this person?
Umar ibn Khattab replies,
Mawlamin Mawaleena.
He's a servant from the servants that we
have.
So Nafar becomes so shocked and he says
to him,
you left a servant
in charge of the people?
Shocking.
I ask you a question brothers and sisters.
If the Queen Elizabeth, tomorrow when she leaves
the country,
she goes,
she leaves a slave or a dust bin
man in charge.
This is the day when the daily mirror,
The Sun, The Guardian and all these other
mainstream newspapers,
They are going to go absolute ballistic.
They're going to make a lot of money
because they live on what crazy things taking
place in the society. So they can put
it in a headline.
They are going to write on it. The
queen has lost the plot.
She left his slave in charge.
That's exactly what Umar al Khattab done. Why
did he do this?
He replied back to him and he said
He is someone that knows the Quran.
He is someone
who knows the inheritance.
Do Do you not hear the statement of
the Prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam? Allah
raises a person
due to how he closed, attached his ears
to the Quran and other people are humiliated.
They are put down.
Look how Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala raised this
slave, brothers and sisters.
This person
who may be looked down upon in the
society,
in the eyes of Umar and in the
eyes of everyone else.
Allah has
raised
them. Allah has raised a person who comes
with iman and also comes with knowledge.
Hopefully brothers and sisters, this will make you
think.
You're someone now that nobody
no one.
But if your intentions are correct and you
want to benefit and raise the ignorance from
yourself and then the ignorance of other people,
Allah will
not let
that knowledge that you have go to waste.
But it requires studying, it requires learning the
knowledge.
Now insha Allah, brothers and sisters, I want
to mention
some things that happened in the time of
the great scholars of hadith, some of the
difficulty they went through.
And I mentioned the hadith before. Why would
they go through so much difficulty?
Because once they tasted a bit of it,
they couldn't get away from it. It's like
a little kid who tasted sweets. He wants
it time and time again. He can't get
enough of it.
But he always finds at the end he
does get enough of it. But these ones
know.
Ahmad ibn Muhammad Rahimahu Ta'alahe said,
He remained
Resided with Al Hakim ibn Uttaiba
8 months.
He was learning a hadith.
Until he saw the trunk of his house.
Because obviously you need money. You need to
keep.
Be able to maintain yourself through food, drinks,
nutrition.
And as time goes money is going to
run out.
In order to, you know, get some funds,
he sold it.
Said,
I sold
the
pants
of my mother for 17 hours.
I sold them for 17 hours.
You know brother and sister, wallahi,
sometimes
these kind of stories reminds me of a
drug addict.
And before someone takes out content, I'm not
trying to say another salah for drug addicts.
But it reminds me of how maybe a
drug addict would behave.
When a drug addict, he needs his drugs.
What does he do?
He sells, he starts shaking, he goes crazy,
he starts sweating. And whatever is around him
begins to sell it.
He begins to sell it.
Even the food of his
baby boy or girl, he will sell it.
The furniture in his house, he will sell
it.
Why? Because he really needs it. He really
needs the drugs.
He really needs his cocaine, his morphine, his
weed. He needs it. It's in his blood.
Addicted.
Some of the said if when they needed
a certain scripture or a book, or he
wanted to seek knowledge,
the pans and the pots brothers and sisters,
Just to carry on seeking knowledge.
Also, because brothers and sisters, there's a powerful
hadith.
Just to show you the virtue of
learning a hadith and preserving it. This is
why I love this field so much. It
brings enjoyment to my heart.
The Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said,
This knowledge is carried by every nation, by
every people.
Upright individuals.
They remove
the distortions of
those who go extreme in the religion.
And also the Prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam he
said,
the misguidance of the people of falsehood, when
they come and they bring misguidance, they remove
it. It. And the false interpretation of the
ignorant ones.
They will come and they will clarify with
the hadith, they will preserve the religion. Allah
Azzawaju will preserve this religion through how?
When He told us, We will preserve this
declared in Quran.
How will this happen?
Through men of people of hadith.
Who
will pursue this knowledge, they will die upon
this knowledge. They will carry on. Ibn Abi
Hadim
said,
I heard my father. Abu Hatim
You must have heard of the kitab akhida
turazi in his bible.
And I've taught it on my channel.
His father is saying, Abu Hatemarazi.
I stayed in Al Basra
in the year
200
and 14
for 8 months.
And I made the intention to reside in
this place for a year,
and the spending money that I had it,
finished.
I began to sell the clothes that was
on my body.
1 after the other. The clothes that he's
wearing, brothers and sisters.
Can you imagine your Nike stuff?
Your shoes, your Adidas, your Umbro.
By the way, umbrell is out of date.
Nike and Adidas and all these
Zara.
Selling it just to go and seek knowledge.
He said I sold it 1 by 1.
Until I remained without any spending money.
And I remained
going around the mashayikh
with my friend.
Just to hear from them until the evening.
My friend, he went back to his home,
the one who was accompanying me. And I
went back to my house empty, empty handed.
Fajaal to ashrabulmaa
minanjur.
I began
to drink
water in order to,
you know, remove the hunger that I had.
Then I woke up the next morning.
My
companion,
he came again.
Fajal tuatoofa ma'ofisamaal
hadithi
alajuranshadeed.
I began to go around the mashayikh
to listen to the hadith
with severe hunger.
He was very hungry the second day.
He left me that day and I left
also and I was hungry.
And the following day, again, he came.
He said, Let's go again to the mashayah.
So I said to him,
I am weak and I am not able
to do so.
He said, Why? Why do you feel weak?
I will not hide anything from you.
2 days have gone past and I haven't
ate anything.
And this was a situation, brothers and sisters,
of Abu Hurayat Radiallahu Anhu.
We know that Abu Hurayra
when it came to Khalid, it was top
of the charts.
It's a name that most of us are
aware of. If we was to mention maybe
Ibn Abi Abza, we don't know.
Or Nafir we don't know.
Abu Hurayra was the one who the Prophet
made du'a for.
He was someone that knew the hadith, memorized
it.
His time went through memorizing the hadith of
Prophet
He said
You once saw me,
I was fainting between the house of Aisha
radiAllahu anha
and the member.
Abu Hurayrah used to faint.
Faiaqulun Nas, the people used to say,
Abu Huraira is angry. That's what the people
used to say when they saw him fainting.
And he mentioned that there is no craziness
in me. I'm not mad.
And
that which was the reason and that
which took place with me
was none other than hunger.
So my skin,
Abu Hurayra
would faint out of hunger.
Because we have another hadith that
explains
what was going on with
Abu Huraydul radiAllahu anhu.
Abu Hurayra Radiallahu Anhu once said, People
who say,
oh, they used to say
that Abu Hurairah is someone that has become
very excessive. Excessive in what? Just narrating.
So he rebuked this and he said,
If it wasn't for
2
verses in the Quran, I wouldn't have narrated
anything to you. Meaning the 2 verses that
talk about concealing knowledge.
Those who conceal
after the bayyanad, the proofs have come to
them.
Then Allah says
that they are cursed.
So because of these ayats in the Quran,
he felt like he was incumbent upon him
to narrate.
So he then said,
Our brothers in the Muhajirun, those who migrated
the Muhajineen,
they were busy in the markets.
And our brothers from the Anzari, they were
busy with their work and their wealth.
And Abu Hurayat Radiallahu Anhu, the Prophet Sallallahu
Alaihi
Wasallam used to advise him to
close his stomach, wrap something around his stomach.
And he used to be present in that
which they never used to come to.
And he used to memorize that which they
never used to memorize.
Muhammad ibn Khad Qudama he
said,
Say that you heard Abu Yusuf
who was a great companion of Imam Abu
Hanif
He said,
My son died.
I wasn't present
when they were readying him
nor when they
buried him.
And I left the responsibility
with my neighbors and also my relatives.
Fearing
that
benefits that Imam Abu Hanif
was giving
would surpass me, would leave me. I would
miss out on it. And then that regret
of missing the benefits would remain with me.
Brothers and sisters, he missed the burial
of his son.
Just for knowledge.
They were addicted
to knowledge.
Umar
ibn Hafs al Ashkar who was a contemporary
of Imam al Bukhari
Look what he mentioned about Imam al Bukhari.
We were with Al Bukhari in a place
called Basra. And we were writing the hadith.
Fafakhadnaahu
ayaaman.
And he went missing for a few days.
We found him in a house
and he was naked.
So everything that he had, he sold it.
Even his clothes, brothers and sisters. So he's
hiding in his house now with no clothes.
So what did he
do?
We collected some money for him and we
clothed him
through
it. Al Hafid Abdulhamal
ibn
Hirash.
They say he has some tashayyah with him,
but we'll mention it anyway.
But he was someone that
was highly regarded when it came to
knowledge.
He said,
You know what he said brothers and sisters?
I
drank my urine.
You anil hadith when he was seeking and
pursuing knowledge.
5 times.
So Khatib Al Baghdadi
commented on this.
I feel
that he done this while traveling due to
necessity.
Because we know brothers, it says that it
is impermissible to drink your urine.
You know Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala says
We know that blood,
drinking blood, eating the dead,
pork,
swine,
there's haram to eat. But in a state
of necessity when you feel like you're gonna
die, you have nothing, you can drink it
or eat it.
So he's walking in the desert going to
seek knowledge.
But what?
Maybe his nafakha runs out, his food and
drink runs out.
He feels like he's going to die so
he drunk his urine. Just to go and
seek a hadith.
Abu
Mus'ud Abdul Rahim
Al Hajji, he said,
He heard
I
bled blood
twice
when I was seeking a hadith.
Maratan bi Baghdad wuqrabi Makkah. One time in
Baghdad
and one time in Makkah.
I used to walk barefooted in the heat.
I dare you brothers and sisters, at Duhr
time in Saudi Arabia when you go to
Makkah,
to walk around without no shoes.
It will be unbearable.
And that's the type of flooring that they
water every now and again. They put water
on it, they clean it.
To make it better, to make it more
cold.
So he said he got to me.
And I never
rode a riding camel fitalab al hadith when
I when it came to seeking hadith.
And I used to carry the books on
my back.
And I never asked for any help by
seeking knowledge.
I just used to live
as
as it came by. Abdul Rahman ibn Abi
Hadim
said,
We were in a place called Egypt, Misr,
for 7 months.
We never ate any soup.
Our days
were divided
in just, you know, attending the gatherings of
the mashayah.
He said,
Me and my companion we came to a
shaykh one day.
And they said,
he's currently ill at the moment.
So we saw on our way,
while we was walking there was
a fish.
Ajabatina, we was amazed by it.
And we bought it.
And when
we went to the house,
The time of attending a gathering came.
And we didn't have the ability to, or
we didn't have the time to, you know,
fry it.
And we carried on attending.
And it was 3 days
that had gone past already.
And it was about to change.
And at the same time, brother, this fish
is raw.
It was about to change color.
We didn't have the time
to give it to someone in order to
fry it for us.
And then he said a statement that
was also previously mentioned by Ibn Kathir.
Knowledge cannot be obtained through a relaxed or
through relaxation or relaxed body.
Say a statement that Ibn Kathir Rahim Allahu
Ta'ala is known to say or is mentioned
before.
So brothers and sisters, you will go through
troubles. You will go through difficulties.
You will go through trials and tribulations. Money
is gonna run out. Things are going to
get hot.
But remember,
the more closer you get to this religion,
the more likely you are to be tested
and
Does man think he'll just be left alone?
He's going to say I believe and he's
not going to be trialed? You think he's
just going to sit on this chair, put
your feet up, sit on the sofa,
and it's Khalas?
Everything is going to say,
it's going to be all happy days for
the rest of your life?
You're going to be trialed.
And the more closer you get to your
religion, the more you'll be trialed.
As the prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam told
us,
If Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala loves a person
he will test him.
This is from the most beloved of actions
to Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala. He told us
in another hadith,
the
most severely tested people are the anbiya,
the Prophets.
And those who are like them and those
who are like them.
You have not taken the occupation of the
mbyah.
Seeking knowledge and are calling onto it.
A person will be tested in accordance to
his religion.
So brothers and sisters, do not be disheartened.
You will go through times.
We all went through this. Times when you
can't memorize, you fall down.
But look at these examples of the Salaf.
Just carry on. Carry on. Carry on. And
inshallah
there will come
a time when that which you possess
or that which you possess,
people will
appreciate it and it will raise the ignorance
of many people.
