Abu Taymiyyah – Part 2 The Kuffar Have Better Manners than the Muslims

The Kuffar

have better manners than the Muslims.

The Kuffar,

the disbelievers, the non Muslims,

they have better manners

than the Muslims.

My brothers and my sisters, think about this

for a moment.

Is this a statement that is correct?

It might be so that they are better

than the Muslims in certain aspects,

in the way they

deal with their colleagues,

they deal with the people in general.

But is correct to say such statement that

we tend to hear all the time?

I've heard it many many times myself.

The poet once said,

The first thing that he commands you with

in his poetry of

attaining lofty mannerisms

and etiquettes.

The first thing that you need to do

is you need to learn how to have

etiquettes with Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala.

And how do you do this?

By leaving off sinning

and to also do that which is mandatory

upon you.

So this individual my brothers and my sisters

who claims

that the

have better etiquettes

than the Muslims.

He who says that Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala

has a son.

It is the worst thing that a person

can ever say.

And it is the worst type of manners

that you can show to Allah Subhanahu Wa

Ta'ala.

Allah tells us in the Quran

Allah tells us

that the Samawats,

the heavens are about to rupture.

They are about to tear down into pieces.

And also their earth

is about to break

into small pieces.

And the

mountains have

been shaken.

Because of what my brothers and my sisters?

Because they claim that Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala

has a son.

And it is not befitting for Allah Subhanahu

wa ta'ala

to have a son, as Allah tells us

in Surat Al Maria.

My brothers and my sisters,

those who insult Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala

from the kuffar,

Regardless

of them having good etiquettes with their work

colleagues and the people around them,

to make a statement as such

is totally

insane.

So when an individual, my brothers and my

sisters, hear statements as such,

What does the one who now advises the

people, encourages the people,

the one who calls to Allah

Concentrate Moron,

is calling the people to

having good manners and good etiquettes with the

people.

And they might use as evidence a statement

of the messenger Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam when he

said,

I was only sent

in order to establish and carry out

wonderful and excellent mannerisms and etiquettes.

So he looks at his hadith. Okay.

My occupation is to establish this.

Fahazbuq.

And I stop there.

And it might even cause an individual now

to

look at those who are calling to monotheism,

at Tawhid,

and think that what you guys are doing

is completely

wrong because the mess of Allah here in

this hadith is saying I was only sent

to establish lofty characteristics and mannerism.

But then the other individual is calling to

Tawhid.

He looks at him and he says,

Every single Messenger

We sent him forth to his people

That they

worship Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala alone and they

don't associate partners with him.

So doesn't this look like now that it

is

contradicting with one another?

And there is no contradiction.

Because my brothers and my sisters, when the

messian

is saying, I was only sent in order

to establish

good etiquettes and lofty mannerisms.

This is your etiquettes with Allah Subhanahu Wa

Ta'ala

and

the etiquis with the creation.

So it's split into 2 categories.

Your relationship with Allah Azzawajal

and this is what a taqwa is in

essence

and also your relationship with the creation.

So if you don't do what Allah Subhanahu

Wa Ta'ala

is telling you to do my brothers and

my you're being badly mannered towards Allah Azzawajal.

Imagine my brothers and my sisters,

your mother is standing in front of the

door.

She's calling out to you, O Muhammad or

O Abdullah.

And she's saying, I really need you to

do this.

But you say, mom, I'm busy

because my friends are waiting for me.

Would we all agree that this

is lack of respect?

You're behaving in a very badly mannered way

towards your mother. We will all agree with

this, right?

Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala is saying Oh you

who believe,

In many verses in the Quran,

calling onto you to do this and to

do that

But then what do we do my brothers

and my sisters?

We put everything else

before Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala and when we

find time and that's when we are going

to carry out things that Allah Subhanahu Wa

Ta'ala is asking us to do.

Isn't as bad manners now my brothers and

my sisters?

And it's sad right and it's not fair,

so there is no contradiction between the 2.

The most important form

of having good etiquette is

with

your

Lord.

To leave of sinning

and to do what Allah Azzawajal told you

to do.

And then you have the

creation

that you treat in the best possible

way.

He doesn't realize that this is because of

his own wrongdoings.

He begins to now look for happiness

in everything

other than Allah Subhanahu

Wa Ta'ala.
