Abu Taymiyyah – How do I pass my exams
AI: Summary ©
The speakers discuss the benefits of Fawad's actions and teachings, including learning a hadith and teaching others. They stress the importance of not going back to Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala and starting with the beginning to cover one's whole chain. The speakers also discuss the importance of showing full authenticity with Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala in order to avoid confusion and loss of connections. A man believes that Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala can give money, but it is difficult to give it. The speakers give opportunities to give money, but they choose not to give it to him.

Brothers and sisters,
in the next few episodes, what I want
to speak about is
Fawad
benefits
that
I may have benefited from over the years,
hoping that I'm able to benefit you and
Insha'Allah you can take this on
by acting upon it and also telling your
family members,
your close relatives,
your friends and anyone that you might be
in interaction with and we
get the reward that was mentioned in the
hadith when the Prophet
said
Whoever now calls the guidance
and everyone that follows him upon that guidance,
he gets the reward and that doesn't take
anything away
from him. We hear a lot about the
Sadaqa Tun Jaria, the continuous
charity.
There's something called Ujurun Jaria,
you coming,
learning a hadith,
putting into practice,
telling another individual,
and every person that he goes and tells
you get the reward for it because you
went and taught that individual initially
and your reward carries on. Until Qiyam Masaa
while you're in your grave from the things
that benefit a person is when
a person is put into a grave,
knowledge that would benefit the people and from
this kind of knowledge is you
teaching the people whether it's a hadith,
whether it is ayaat,
whether it is anything in the religion
and you get this continuous reward. The Prophet
SAW said
the one that directs the people to the
Khayr, he is as if he is doing
it. So Insha'Allah we take this matter seriously
the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam also mentioned another
hadith to show you the virtue of learning
a hadith
and then teaching the
people
may Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala glow in the
face of an individual who learns my speech,
comprehends
it and then goes and conveys it to
someone
who might be
or someone who might have better understanding than
him.
Brothers and sisters, what I want to speak
about today
is
something that is
affecting
many of our Muslim brothers and sisters today.
It's the issue of not going back to
Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala especially in times of
hardship,
especially
now a lot of our brothers and sisters
in the universities, they have holiday.
Everyone's
preparing for the exams, people are really really
stressed out, some people are even going through
depression,
and
not only do I want to speak about
this kind of scenario Rava, it's something that
is general.
People become stressed out and depressed for many
different reasons.
There's people that have marriage problems,
there's people whose parents are trying to split
up, there's people
who might be going through financial difficulties,
there's people
who are very very sick
and they're trying everything
that they can try in order to
rectify their affairs.
How can we go about trying to solve
these matters?
Especially in a stressful stressful time for many
of our brothers in the universities? How can
we go about trying to solve and maybe
getting the best possible grade?
Brothers and sisters we have to understand
that
sometimes when Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala sees us
being heedless about him
and not going back to him, especially when
we are in need
and we run back to the creation.
How many of us now
as soon as we become sick,
you find us lining up at the GP.
Someone loses his job the first person he
calls is the debt management company.
Or we run to the job center
we're lining up trying to get a JSA
job seekers allowance.
Nobody is saying that these Asbaab are incorrect
or the Haram.
Rather my point is
when we get afflicted with an affliction or
we go through a problem,
why
is it that we don't go
and turn to Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala and
run to Him
in the beginning
and then go to the creation to take
the Isbab.
Imagine that one time
as soon as we was afflicted with affliction,
we put our hands up to Allah Subhanahu
Wa Ta'ala to ask Him
to rectify our matters.
The Prophet SAW
gave us some
simple steps to take when we need something.
He said
Allah
is shy,
he is generous
that when a servant puts his two hands
up to him
that he sends him back empty handed.
Imagine that one time, when is the last
time brothers and sisters
that when we needed something
we
went to Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala
before anyone
else.
Whether it is when we needed money, whether
it is when we fell sick,
you can see that our connection
with Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'la
is becoming more less
as time goes on.
So brothers and sisters may Allah Subhanahu Wa
Ta'ala bless you all.
The issue of Dua
is not something that is light.
Sometimes you find that we make Dua
but it's more like a half hearted Dua.
Now Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala gives but I
don't think this is even gonna happen.
Why can we not have that authenticity with
Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala?
That kind of mentality
that Na'am anything that I need it can
happen right now
in this place
simply because I had full authenticity with Allah
Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala. You get these two kind
of people, the guy that believes
anything can happen anytime, any place. And the
other one, Naam, he believes in Allah subhanahu
wa ta'ala that he gives and he takes.
As Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala mentioned in the
Quran.
For Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala is the kingdoms.
He owns it.
He gives the kingdom whoever he wills.
And he takes away from whoever he wills.
He gratens whoever he wills.
And he humiliates whoever he wants.
Now I'm that person believes Allah Subhanahu Wa
Ta'ala gives and takes
but when he is turning to Allah Subhanahu
Wa Ta'ala
he doesn't have that
full on belief
that Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala can give him
that which he is asking about.
Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala brothers and sisters please
listen.
Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala
says the giving of your Lord is not
restricted
this is not something that is hard upon
Allah
you want to get a first,
you want money,
You want to be in a better situation
in few years time?
It's not hard upon Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala.
Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala also says
Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala wants something,
he says be and it becomes.
Simple
as that.
Allah
has given us so many opportunities,
He's telling us come to me, come to
me, I will come give it to you.
If there was now any of the creation
telling us
come to me now and I'm gonna give
you whatever you want, whether it's money, whether
it is a house, whether it is this,
a wife, whether it is that anything
Wallahi you're gonna find everybody running to this
individual.
For example, brothers I ask you Bill Gates,
if Bill Gates comes tomorrow and he says
to end the first 100 that come to
me, I'm going to give him this
and I'm gonna give him that.
Everyone's going to go and pack their bags
and they're gonna run to him because they
know that Bill Gates has money.
He's one of the richest people in the
world.
And this is Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala.
The one that created everyone,
the one that gives life, the one that
takes away life.
If Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala gave Bill Gates
money and he gave him whatever he gave
him,
do you really think that you,
that individual now,
that worships Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala,
That takes time out
to give
Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala.
That which Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala told him
to do. By praying his salawat,
that that one time
He asked Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala is that
what he's gonna turn him down?
We have to understand something
the promise of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala and
he does not fail in his promise.
When
Allah tells you
And when My servant asks of me, I
am close,
I will reply back to the one that
invokes me. And when Allah
says,
and say to them your your Lord has
said
call on to me and I will reply
back to you.
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala is telling you,
why do we run to Bill Gates but
we don't run to Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala?
The Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam
said, Your Lord comes down
the last 3rd of every night
to the
heaven
that's above the Dunya,
where he stays the last 3rd of the
night.
Allah Subhanahu
Wa
Ta'ala
says
Who will invoke Me so I can respond
to him?
Who wants to come and ask me so
I can give to him? Allah Subhanahu Wa
Ta'ala is telling you
to come and I'm gonna give it to
you.
But we choose
to maybe turn away from Allah Subhanahu Wa
Ta'ala
and not give the time
to Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala
and not put in the effort
to Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala.
Brothers and sisters,
come back to your Lord.
I'm going to give you an example Ikhwani,
if you was now employed by a boss,
and you were someone that was
that never used to take his job seriously,
he would perform the worst type of action
when it came to fulfilling the
objectives that have been set for him,
comes late,
doesn't do the job properly,
is ill mannered towards his supervisor.
Do you really think that if you needed
something the boss is going to come and
give it to you, you need a 2
week holiday?
Sometimes very very hard to get,
you tend to find that the supervisor or
the boss or the department manager is going
to give it to people who are more
deserving.
Do you really think he's gonna come and
give it to
you? Sometimes we make Dua to Allah Subhanahu
Wa Ta'ala
and Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala might respond to
us for many different reasons.
Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala you haven't given him
the time, the effort, the Ibadat or maybe
we've been eating Haram
and because of this Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala
doesn't reply back to us because we haven't
been doing our main objective properly.
The only reason why Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala
created us for
I never created Jin and the Ins except
to worship me alone. The reason why me
and you have been placed in
wherever we are whether it's Britain, Canada, America,
Wallahi was for one purpose
to establish our Ibadat
to give our time to Allah Subhanahu Wa
Ta'ala then everything else comes second.
We should be working on our connection with
Allah Subhanahu trying to perfect it.
And does man think that We created him
without a purpose,
and that he won't be coming back to
us?
Brothers and sisters perfect your relationship with Allah
and be it in Lihi Talha Allah
Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala
will give us whatever He wants
and whatever we need Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala
will respond back to us. I ask Allah
Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala to benefit us from what
we heard, for indeed the reminder benefits the
believer.
