For a whole 6 months
before the month of Ramadan,
they are begging Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
Oh Allah, give us the success
to be able to reach the month of
Ramadan.
Because not everybody gets the opportunity.
This is why Abu Juzir rahimawala wa ta'ala,
If it was said to the people in
the grave,
make a wish,
they would make the wish of spending a
day in the month of Ramadan.
So my brothers and my sisters,
I want you hold the ponder upon this
question.
How many of us
asked Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
in the duas that we make?
Oh, Allah give us the opportunity to be
able to breathe in the month of Ramadan.
How many people have passed away
before the month of Ramadan?

I remember last year my brothers and my
sisters,
something that Shem Abdul Azakal Benal, a teacher
that teaches us in the prophet Sallallahu Alaihi
Wasall mentioned.
He told us that a brother came up
to him
a couple of weeks before the month of
Ramadan,
and he was showing him the schedule
of a brother in Africa
who was planning to do many many programs
in the month of Ramadan.
A couple of weeks later,
that same brother comes up to him and
he tells him, oh, sheikh, that brother who
wanted to do all of these programs, he
has passed away.
He wanted to teach this, he wanted to
teach that, and that really really hit my
heart.
Because at that same time, I was preparing
my summer schedule
of all the programs I'm going to be
doing
in the month of Ramadan.
My brothers and my sisters,
these people that are dying
in front of us, it should be a
reminder to us.
We don't need even people to come and
start giving us advices and telling us stories.
The messenger salallahu alaihi wa sallam he said,
death is enough of a reminder.
The messenger
the destroyer of all pleasures,
the destroyer of all pleasures, and that is
a mote.

if in this month we can't change,
we can't sort out our hearts, we can't
clean it, we can't purify it, when will
we get the opportunity?

not even taste the sweetness of the Quran?
We really really need a check
when something is physically wrong with us. Wallahi,
we run to the NHS. We go to
the GP.
That is something to relate it to a
physical sickness.
What about my brothers and sisters, this spiritual
sickness?
We should not be surprised
when all of a sudden our limbs,
our hands,
our tongues,
our feet
are doing horrible things. And that is because
my brothers and sisters initially started from the
heart.
It was narrated by Imam al Bukhara, imul
halideenurmani
al Bashir, that the messenger salamu alayhi wa
sallam said,
If that becomes rectified,
everything else becomes rectified.
If that becomes corrupt,
if that becomes corrupt, everything else becomes corrupt.

all of a sudden now starts doing horrible
things because they initially originated from his heart.

And for all those youngsters
who think they're only going to die when
they reach the age of 40

bed,
don't wallahi, you're mistaken.
We are dealing with a lot of kids

you, my brothers and my sisters, my elders.
The amount of kids that have been stuck,
There may be young and many young teenagers

The age of 15, the age of 14,
just in this month, the month before the
month of Ramadan,
how many
many Somali youngsters,
Yemeni youngsters
have passed away?
They've been stopped.
And those who are killing one another, they
are from the same people.
Wallahi my brothers and my sisters, you're not
going to get a message on Facebook.
No one's going to drop you a message
on WhatsApp,
or Instagram, or Twitter telling you that you're
about to die. Medical mode is not going
to come on Snapchat telling you that you're
about to die in 30 seconds,
or in 30 minutes, or in an hour.
Get ready. No one's gonna do that for
you.
Allah says in the Quran,
It comes to your unexpectedly.
My brothers and my sisters,
The issue of the and the issue of

Today, I wanted to speak about
the issue of the Quran.
Have we ever asked ourselves this question?
Why there is so many problems taking place
in our life?
Our
houses are a war zone.
It's like a war is taking place in
the house.
Is taking place in his home.
We try to do something about it. There
is no cure for it. We can't find
a cure.
It's time we start asking ourselves, my brothers
and my sisters, it's maybe because the Quran
is missing.
Look what

a wonderful happy life, something that we all
want.
But how many of us, my brothers and
my sisters, we have a relationship
with the Quran, and it might be too
late once we stop picking up the Quran
in the month of Ramadan. So this is
why my brothers and my sisters,
we try our utmost best to start it
before the month of Ramadan.
Because the car might struggle to get into
gear.
And before we know it, Ramadan has slipped
away.
We really don't want to go under the
hadith

came up to him and he said to

Do you really think that people are going
to be in need of you? And you
have Omar, you
have Ishmael, you have Ali.
He said,
I turned away from him, and I started
seeking knowledge
from the major companions.
Will leave his house at a time when
it's really, really hot in the Arabian Peninsula.
And he would wait outside the homes of
the companions.
And when the companion comes out,

forget stuff. No. He said to him, leave
of sinning.

in the year that I spent studying in
a place called Temerj in Yemen,
and also while I've been in Medina,
I struggle to find a brother
who has been trialed
with attacking people's honors,
using his tongue
the way he shouldn't be using it,
except that he struggled to progress and seek
a knowledge, and a lot of them dropped
out.
All the person was tied up.
Allah
may have saved certain brothers from watching things
they shouldn't be watching,
But then the Shaitan came from this angle
and they did not progress. They stayed in
the same place until he maybe left the
jamia or he left Yemen because he couldn't
take it anymore. And it's not rocket science
to understand why.
I have my brothers, my brothers and my
sisters,
It's as if they are tied inside the
university. You can't even go to the Haram.
Maybe because of a lot of baggage
back home.
He didn't leave some of his filthy ways,

advise me. How can I study?

They can't progress.
It's as if he has invisible chains on

The love of the book of Allah and
also the love of music
are 2 things that can't come together in
a person's heart.
And getting a sinning right,

of tasting the sweetness of the Quran, that
guidance that we all need that will solve
a lot of our marital problems.
The problems with our kids
that we weren't able to do anything with
and all the other problems that we have,
that we go back to the book of
Allah
