Abu Taymiyyah – Control that tongue from that MAJOR act of LYING! May Allah bless u all

This

This English rendition

of where the prophet said a person

will speak the truth and continue to speak

the truth. I told you to her in

the line. Yeah. Can you give us a

little 5 minutes on this hadith? About lying?

Yeah. The the the that part of what

the prophet said about the person who continues

to lie and Allah will write them down

amongst the liars. Yeah.

The prophet said,

beware of lying. For indeed, lying,

it

leads to one being

a wicked individual.

And the Forjur, the wickedness, the transgression,

it leads the person to the fire.

And a person, he keeps lying and lying

and lying

until he's written down with Allah to be

a liar.

Prophet Muhammadu have to understand, lying is a

major sin. You know how when we look

at zira,

fornication

is something that is major. Everybody, wow, it's

a big thing.

That's like a no go.

Just like Zina is a major sin, likewise

lying is the exact same thing when it

comes to major sins.

Imam Al Tharib minuwwala ta'ala he mentions lying

from from amongst

the Kabalib

in his book.

Even Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala says,

And may the curse of Allah

be upon the liars.

And Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala also says, Inalla

alaihi minhuwa

Musilifar kanta. And

Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala doesn't lie, doesn't guide

the lying

individual. So one lying is like a big

means of him

not obtaining guidance or him there being a

barrier between him and being guided through a

straight path.

It's the issue of lying.

And just very, very quickly, I'll mention inshallah,

how one can know if an action is

from the major sins.

Remember that Dharmila mentions that

if

you have now

a

curse of Allah

Let's just say now we just mentioned Allah

Whoever does this now, he is cursed.

Anything with the curse of Allah

upon it, it's a major center.

Secondly, there's the hudood.

Whoever does this,

the capital punishment is applied to him. That's

another kabirah.

Like

zina, adultery,

saliqah,

stealing.

The third thing

is if there's a wahid of the nar

I threatened the hellfire.

Whoever does this now, he's been threatened with

the hellfire.

The fourth thing, if if a person does

this, then the prophet

said, I'm free from this individual.

So now look at Lai'ik. We just talked

about the issue of Lai'ik. You have the

curse of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala.

Secondly, you have what?

Also,

the person being threatened with the fire.

So it's not light matter that we pay

to light the even though

it's so easy upon the

tongue. Now it's a very serious matter that

we should take very, very seriously.

May Allah protect us from that.
