Abdur Rahman ibn Yusuf Mangera – The Key to Being Enriched and Independent

Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam talks about that in terms

of wealth, looking at person from a dunya achievement perspective,

less than than you all the time, be with them. So you'll always be

grateful. And when we sit with people with more than us than we

generally, it's just a natural disposition generally, unless

we've got enough exercise and experience to have given it up and

say, I don't need it. I'm enriched from it. I'm independent of it.

Allah has sufficed me with

and with effort Allah does. Allah helps a lot. We need to see the

effort. That's why there's a hadith that says, well, may you

start off if you are a full law, whoever tries to remain chaste.

Whoever attempts wants to remain chaste. Allah will give him

chastity.

So Allah gives an effort for sure. But that effort needs to come

first.
