00:00:40 --> 00:00:42
			After a discussion

00:00:42 --> 00:00:44
			on the characteristics of Jannah

00:00:44 --> 00:00:46
			and the descriptions

00:00:47 --> 00:00:50
			of the different blessings and bounties bounties and

00:00:50 --> 00:00:52
			the different virtues of Jannah that we went

00:00:52 --> 00:00:53
			through last time.

00:00:55 --> 00:00:59
			Today we look at after everybody being settled

00:00:59 --> 00:00:59
			in Jannah,

00:01:00 --> 00:01:01
			then Allah

00:01:02 --> 00:01:04
			will shower even more blessings on the people

00:01:04 --> 00:01:05
			of Jannah.

00:01:05 --> 00:01:06
			And also

00:01:07 --> 00:01:07
			after

00:01:08 --> 00:01:10
			looking at the general descriptions of Jannah,

00:01:10 --> 00:01:12
			what are people going to now be doing

00:01:12 --> 00:01:13
			in paradise?

00:01:14 --> 00:01:17
			Is there will there be certain activities that

00:01:17 --> 00:01:19
			they'll do once a month, once a week,

00:01:19 --> 00:01:21
			every now and then occasionally?

00:01:22 --> 00:01:25
			Will will they go and meet others and

00:01:25 --> 00:01:27
			things of that nature. So these are some

00:01:27 --> 00:01:28
			of the things that we're going to try

00:01:28 --> 00:01:30
			to look at today along with some other

00:01:30 --> 00:01:31
			details.

00:01:32 --> 00:01:32
			Firstly,

00:01:35 --> 00:01:39
			after everybody has been settled in paradise, and

00:01:39 --> 00:01:39
			Allah

00:01:40 --> 00:01:42
			will come to them and say, Have you

00:01:42 --> 00:01:42
			got everything?

00:01:43 --> 00:01:45
			Is there any need for you? Do you

00:01:45 --> 00:01:47
			have any other needs? And they'll say, no.

00:01:47 --> 00:01:48
			We

00:01:48 --> 00:01:51
			have everything. We're satisfied. We've been given everything,

00:01:51 --> 00:01:52
			and we have everything.

00:01:53 --> 00:01:53
			Then Allah

00:01:54 --> 00:01:55
			will say that, I am now

00:01:56 --> 00:01:58
			happy with you and pleased with you, and

00:01:58 --> 00:01:59
			will never

00:02:00 --> 00:02:02
			ever be angry with you again. And that

00:02:02 --> 00:02:05
			will even increase even more their happiness

00:02:05 --> 00:02:06
			in paradise.

00:02:07 --> 00:02:08
			After that,

00:02:09 --> 00:02:09
			Allah as

00:02:10 --> 00:02:11
			he says in the Quran,

00:02:19 --> 00:02:20
			For those who do

00:02:20 --> 00:02:21
			good,

00:02:22 --> 00:02:23
			For them is Husna

00:02:24 --> 00:02:26
			which means for them is

00:02:26 --> 00:02:27
			the best

00:02:29 --> 00:02:30
			reward. Waziyad,

00:02:30 --> 00:02:32
			I mean already you think best reward should

00:02:32 --> 00:02:35
			cover it. No, even more than that.

00:02:35 --> 00:02:37
			Even something beyond the best reward.

00:02:38 --> 00:02:40
			So they will have husna,

00:02:41 --> 00:02:43
			the greatest of good and they'll have even

00:02:43 --> 00:02:44
			more beyond that.

00:02:45 --> 00:02:46
			That's what Allah

00:02:46 --> 00:02:47
			Allah says in the Quran.

00:02:49 --> 00:02:50
			Surat Yunus.

00:02:51 --> 00:02:53
			Some have given the commentary of this, the

00:02:53 --> 00:02:54
			best reward

00:02:54 --> 00:02:55
			refers

00:02:56 --> 00:02:57
			to the jannah, garden.

00:03:02 --> 00:03:03
			For those who do good, they'll get the

00:03:03 --> 00:03:03
			jannah.

00:03:05 --> 00:03:07
			And then they'll get more.

00:03:08 --> 00:03:10
			So beyond jannah, what is there beyond jannah?

00:03:11 --> 00:03:13
			Jannah is jannah. What's beyond jannah?

00:03:14 --> 00:03:15
			So beyond jannah

00:03:15 --> 00:03:17
			refers to the vision of Allah.

00:03:18 --> 00:03:19
			Seeing Allah

00:03:21 --> 00:03:22
			And that is supposed to be

00:03:23 --> 00:03:24
			more than the jannah.

00:03:25 --> 00:03:26
			That's even more.

00:03:28 --> 00:03:30
			Because the only reason these people are in

00:03:30 --> 00:03:32
			paradise is because they loved Allah.

00:03:32 --> 00:03:34
			So now to be able to see Allah

00:03:34 --> 00:03:35
			will be more than anything that you've been

00:03:35 --> 00:03:36
			given.

00:03:37 --> 00:03:39
			Until you haven't seen the person there's always

00:03:39 --> 00:03:39
			something

00:03:40 --> 00:03:42
			missing. They're all supplementary things.

00:03:43 --> 00:03:45
			They're all just extra things. We're waiting for

00:03:45 --> 00:03:45
			the real thing

00:03:46 --> 00:03:47
			and that is supposed to be the greatest

00:03:47 --> 00:03:47
			of the

00:04:06 --> 00:04:06
			faces.

00:04:07 --> 00:04:08
			Faces

00:04:09 --> 00:04:10
			on that day, yawma'idin

00:04:10 --> 00:04:11
			naadiratun

00:04:11 --> 00:04:12
			will be

00:04:31 --> 00:04:32
			listening to this or who's reading this.

00:04:33 --> 00:04:36
			Why will the faces be resplendent on that

00:04:36 --> 00:04:36
			day?

00:04:37 --> 00:04:39
			If we tell if if you read the

00:04:39 --> 00:04:41
			verse, on that day the faces will be

00:04:41 --> 00:04:43
			resplendent and illuminated.

00:04:43 --> 00:04:45
			You'll wonder what?

00:04:45 --> 00:04:46
			What would you wonder?

00:04:47 --> 00:04:47
			Why?

00:04:49 --> 00:04:49
			What is the reason?

00:04:51 --> 00:04:51
			Then Allah

00:04:52 --> 00:04:54
			does it the other way around. So he

00:04:54 --> 00:04:54
			says, Because

00:04:58 --> 00:05:00
			they will be looking towards their Lord.

00:05:02 --> 00:05:04
			Rather than saying they'll be looking towards their

00:05:04 --> 00:05:06
			Lord and their faces will be

00:05:07 --> 00:05:09
			resplendent. Wallahu 'alam. But in this it seems

00:05:09 --> 00:05:10
			that it is showing

00:05:11 --> 00:05:13
			a greater interest that's created when they first

00:05:13 --> 00:05:15
			give you a description. They're gonna be

00:05:15 --> 00:05:17
			really illuminated and resplendent faces

00:05:18 --> 00:05:20
			because they'll be looking towards their Lord.

00:05:25 --> 00:05:26
			See, there's a hadith.

00:05:27 --> 00:05:30
			The Quran gives these general ayaat that tell

00:05:30 --> 00:05:30
			us these

00:05:31 --> 00:05:32
			things. But then

00:05:32 --> 00:05:33
			the Prophet

00:05:34 --> 00:05:35
			gives greater detail

00:05:35 --> 00:05:36
			about these things.

00:05:37 --> 00:05:37
			So the Prophet

00:05:41 --> 00:05:42
			said, after the people of Jannah,

00:05:46 --> 00:05:49
			after the people of Jannah have entered Jannah,

00:05:50 --> 00:05:52
			once everybody settled in Jannah,

00:05:53 --> 00:05:54
			Allah

00:05:54 --> 00:05:57
			who is blessed and exalted, he will ask,

00:05:59 --> 00:05:59
			Jewish,

00:06:00 --> 00:06:01
			do you wish

00:06:03 --> 00:06:05
			me to give you anything more?

00:06:06 --> 00:06:09
			And they'll say, have you already not brightened

00:06:09 --> 00:06:10
			our faces?

00:06:11 --> 00:06:13
			Have you not made us enter the jannah

00:06:13 --> 00:06:14
			and saved us from the fire?

00:06:15 --> 00:06:17
			You've already We're saying what more can you

00:06:17 --> 00:06:19
			give? You've already done so much. Out of

00:06:19 --> 00:06:20
			thanks we're saying this.

00:06:22 --> 00:06:22
			He will

00:06:23 --> 00:06:24
			then remove

00:06:25 --> 00:06:25
			the veil.

00:06:27 --> 00:06:29
			Hijabu An Nur,

00:06:30 --> 00:06:31
			they will remove the veil

00:06:32 --> 00:06:33
			from in front of.

00:06:35 --> 00:06:36
			And now

00:06:36 --> 00:06:37
			nothing

00:06:37 --> 00:06:39
			when they see him and these veils are

00:06:39 --> 00:06:40
			removed,

00:06:40 --> 00:06:41
			there will be nothing

00:06:41 --> 00:06:44
			that they were ever given that would be

00:06:44 --> 00:06:46
			a dearer to them than the this sight

00:06:46 --> 00:06:47
			of their

00:06:48 --> 00:06:48
			Lord.

00:06:49 --> 00:06:52
			O Allah, subhanAllah, that's just something we're gonna

00:06:52 --> 00:06:53
			have to wait to see.

00:06:57 --> 00:07:00
			InshaAllah. In another version of this hadith, Prophet

00:07:00 --> 00:07:01
			reads, saying, my,

00:07:03 --> 00:07:05
			And you know what's what it says after

00:07:05 --> 00:07:06
			that?

00:07:10 --> 00:07:13
			That these people their faces will be like

00:07:13 --> 00:07:13
			this.

00:07:14 --> 00:07:17
			Never will any form of humiliation come upon

00:07:17 --> 00:07:17
			their faces anymore.

00:07:19 --> 00:07:22
			They'll never be downcast faces anymore. They'll always

00:07:22 --> 00:07:23
			be happy afterwards.

00:07:29 --> 00:07:31
			Those are the people of the the garden.

00:07:32 --> 00:07:33
			Jabir ibn Abdillar

00:07:34 --> 00:07:35
			the famous Sahabi, he relates.

00:07:36 --> 00:07:38
			We're once with the Prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam.

00:07:39 --> 00:07:41
			When he looked at the full moon,

00:07:41 --> 00:07:43
			it was a full moon. He looked at

00:07:43 --> 00:07:45
			the full moon and he said, you know,

00:07:45 --> 00:07:46
			you will see

00:07:47 --> 00:07:49
			your Lord with your eyes as you all

00:07:49 --> 00:07:51
			see this moon so clearly. None of you

00:07:51 --> 00:07:54
			have to jostle each other to see it.

00:07:54 --> 00:07:57
			It's so clear, so evident, everybody can see

00:07:57 --> 00:07:57
			it.

00:07:58 --> 00:07:59
			You will not be hindered from seeing it,

00:07:59 --> 00:08:00
			he said.

00:08:02 --> 00:08:03
			But then he said something else.

00:08:04 --> 00:08:06
			He said, therefore meaning if you wanna get

00:08:06 --> 00:08:07
			there and to be able to see your

00:08:07 --> 00:08:09
			Lord, if you can manage to pray before

00:08:09 --> 00:08:10
			sunrise

00:08:11 --> 00:08:13
			and before sunset then do

00:08:14 --> 00:08:15
			so. If you can pray before sunrise

00:08:17 --> 00:08:19
			and before sunset then do so.

00:08:19 --> 00:08:20
			Because

00:08:21 --> 00:08:21
			he

00:08:28 --> 00:08:29
			said,

00:08:30 --> 00:08:31
			Which means

00:08:31 --> 00:08:32
			that if you are able

00:08:33 --> 00:08:36
			that before the rising of the sun you're

00:08:36 --> 00:08:37
			not overcome

00:08:38 --> 00:08:40
			come to such an extent that you miss

00:08:40 --> 00:08:41
			the prayer.

00:08:42 --> 00:08:45
			Tuhl Abu, you're dominated by something else,

00:08:46 --> 00:08:47
			sleep. But no, you wake up at that

00:08:47 --> 00:08:49
			time and you pray then this is for

00:08:49 --> 00:08:49
			you.

00:08:51 --> 00:08:53
			So that's a link that he's creating between

00:08:53 --> 00:08:55
			salat and especially salatul Fajr.

00:08:56 --> 00:08:57
			And the other one he said before the

00:08:57 --> 00:08:58
			sun sets,

00:08:59 --> 00:09:00
			salatul Asr.

00:09:01 --> 00:09:03
			These 2 are the most difficult prayers for

00:09:03 --> 00:09:04
			some people,

00:09:04 --> 00:09:05
			traditionally speaking.

00:09:06 --> 00:09:08
			The reason is fajr is difficult for everybody,

00:09:08 --> 00:09:09
			wherever you live in the world.

00:09:11 --> 00:09:14
			But Asr is a bit different. And the

00:09:14 --> 00:09:16
			reason why Asr is because when you looked

00:09:16 --> 00:09:16
			at

00:09:17 --> 00:09:18
			classical and

00:09:19 --> 00:09:20
			traditional days,

00:09:21 --> 00:09:23
			the days would run from

00:09:24 --> 00:09:24
			the morning

00:09:25 --> 00:09:28
			to sunset, just before sunset. So the Asr

00:09:28 --> 00:09:30
			time would be when you're closing shop.

00:09:30 --> 00:09:33
			You're dealing with the last customers. You're trying

00:09:33 --> 00:09:35
			to clear up and get home.

00:09:35 --> 00:09:37
			So you could miss Asr

00:09:38 --> 00:09:39
			because you delayed, delayed,

00:09:40 --> 00:09:41
			delayed. Thinking I'll pray it, I'll pray it,

00:09:41 --> 00:09:42
			I'll pray it.

00:09:44 --> 00:09:44
			Here though,

00:09:46 --> 00:09:48
			things work differently in this country.

00:09:49 --> 00:09:50
			The Asr time goes all the way from

00:09:50 --> 00:09:51
			3 o'clock to

00:09:53 --> 00:09:55
			8, you know, 8:8 and 9 o'clock,

00:09:56 --> 00:09:58
			depending on the time of the year.

00:09:58 --> 00:10:00
			So that that's what it is. Make sure

00:10:00 --> 00:10:02
			that you're regular. If you're regular on those

00:10:02 --> 00:10:04
			two prayers, you would be regular on the

00:10:04 --> 00:10:06
			others. The reason is that you'll be home

00:10:06 --> 00:10:08
			Maghrib time is so clear. The other thing

00:10:08 --> 00:10:10
			is that Asr is especially in the short

00:10:10 --> 00:10:12
			days, in a weird time because you

00:10:13 --> 00:10:14
			there's nothing going on outside.

00:10:15 --> 00:10:18
			At least with noontime, it's very hot. There's

00:10:18 --> 00:10:19
			an afternoon, it's just there, lunchtime.

00:10:20 --> 00:10:22
			But Asar kind of comes afterwards.

00:10:22 --> 00:10:23
			Sunset,

00:10:23 --> 00:10:24
			clear

00:10:25 --> 00:10:25
			manifestation

00:10:26 --> 00:10:27
			of the darkness

00:10:27 --> 00:10:30
			coming in and the light disappearing. Ishaa, you're

00:10:30 --> 00:10:33
			relaxed at home. You know, you've retired for

00:10:33 --> 00:10:34
			the day.

00:10:34 --> 00:10:36
			Fajr is the difficult one to get up.

00:10:36 --> 00:10:39
			So that's why those 2, if you're regular

00:10:39 --> 00:10:41
			on Fajr and Asr, you should be fine

00:10:41 --> 00:10:42
			with the rest of the prayers.

00:10:43 --> 00:10:43
			Right?

00:10:44 --> 00:10:44
			They're the most difficult in a sense. For

00:10:44 --> 00:10:45
			us Fajr is probably the most difficult.

00:10:57 --> 00:10:58
			So that is

00:10:59 --> 00:11:00
			He supporting

00:11:00 --> 00:11:02
			his statement with the Quran. That in the

00:11:02 --> 00:11:02
			Quran

00:11:04 --> 00:11:07
			says, extol the praises of your Lord before

00:11:07 --> 00:11:08
			sunrise and before sunset.

00:11:09 --> 00:11:12
			Praise your Lord before sunrise and before sunset.

00:11:13 --> 00:11:15
			So now this is not just about dhikr

00:11:15 --> 00:11:16
			but the prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam took

00:11:16 --> 00:11:18
			it as salat as well.

00:11:18 --> 00:11:20
			But then salat and then spend some time

00:11:20 --> 00:11:23
			doing some dhikr before sunrise and before before

00:11:23 --> 00:11:24
			Maghrib.

00:11:25 --> 00:11:27
			Abu Razeen al Ruqaydi,

00:11:27 --> 00:11:30
			he asked, O Messenger of Allah, will we

00:11:30 --> 00:11:32
			see Allah without obstruction on the day of

00:11:32 --> 00:11:32
			rising?

00:11:33 --> 00:11:35
			He said, Yes. He then asked, what is

00:11:35 --> 00:11:37
			the sign of that in his creation?

00:11:38 --> 00:11:40
			Give us an example of this. How is

00:11:40 --> 00:11:40
			that possible?

00:11:41 --> 00:11:42
			So then the prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam

00:11:42 --> 00:11:44
			replied, oh Abu Razin,

00:11:44 --> 00:11:46
			do you not all see the moon without

00:11:46 --> 00:11:47
			obstruction

00:11:48 --> 00:11:49
			on the night when it is full? And

00:11:49 --> 00:11:51
			he said, indeed we do.

00:11:52 --> 00:11:53
			He said, Allah is greater

00:11:55 --> 00:11:55
			because

00:11:56 --> 00:11:57
			the sun,

00:11:57 --> 00:12:00
			the moon is just a creation of Allah.

00:12:00 --> 00:12:02
			If you can see a creation of Allah,

00:12:03 --> 00:12:04
			Allah is greater.

00:12:08 --> 00:12:11
			Okay. You want some more description of paradise?

00:12:13 --> 00:12:15
			This is another hadith that's related by Sheikh

00:12:15 --> 00:12:16
			Abdullah Alawi.

00:12:26 --> 00:12:27
			When the people of paradise

00:12:29 --> 00:12:30
			enter the garden,

00:12:30 --> 00:12:33
			they will be situated according to the merits

00:12:33 --> 00:12:34
			of their deeds.

00:12:35 --> 00:12:37
			They will be placed in paradise according

00:12:37 --> 00:12:38
			to their deeds.

00:12:40 --> 00:12:41
			Level.

00:12:42 --> 00:12:43
			Then he says,

00:12:53 --> 00:12:55
			Then they will be allowed to visit their

00:12:55 --> 00:12:56
			Lord.

00:12:57 --> 00:12:58
			So there will be visits

00:12:58 --> 00:13:00
			to Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala as such.

00:13:02 --> 00:13:03
			They'll be able to visit their Lord for

00:13:03 --> 00:13:06
			a time equivalent to that of a Friday

00:13:06 --> 00:13:06
			in the world.

00:13:07 --> 00:13:08
			Like the Jumu'ah.

00:13:14 --> 00:13:16
			Jumuah. His throne will

00:13:17 --> 00:13:18
			be placed for them.

00:13:20 --> 00:13:22
			His place His his throne will be lowered,

00:13:22 --> 00:13:23
			will come down.

00:13:24 --> 00:13:24
			And

00:13:33 --> 00:13:34
			And he will

00:13:34 --> 00:13:37
			appear himself, meaning he will manifest himself

00:13:38 --> 00:13:40
			before them in a meadow of Jannah.

00:13:42 --> 00:13:45
			And then he says, a dais of light

00:13:45 --> 00:13:46
			will be erected for them.

00:13:47 --> 00:13:48
			A dais is

00:13:48 --> 00:13:50
			manabir minur,

00:13:54 --> 00:13:56
			kind of a royal kind of setting. It's

00:13:56 --> 00:13:59
			a special kind of throne or platform or

00:13:59 --> 00:14:02
			seating that is made for a very respected

00:14:02 --> 00:14:03
			guest.

00:14:04 --> 00:14:05
			So you call that a daiz,

00:14:08 --> 00:14:08
			a

00:14:09 --> 00:14:11
			manabir. So now these are the different types

00:14:11 --> 00:14:13
			of seatings that would be arranged for this

00:14:13 --> 00:14:14
			meeting with Allah

00:14:15 --> 00:14:15
			every week.

00:14:16 --> 00:14:17
			May

00:14:17 --> 00:14:18
			Allah

00:14:19 --> 00:14:20
			put us in this majlis

00:14:20 --> 00:14:21
			as well.

00:14:21 --> 00:14:22
			So he says,

00:14:24 --> 00:14:26
			then Allah will manifest himself in one of

00:14:26 --> 00:14:27
			the meadows of Jannah,

00:14:28 --> 00:14:30
			a dyes of light will be erected from

00:14:30 --> 00:14:32
			them will be erected for them. And a

00:14:32 --> 00:14:33
			dyes of pearl,

00:14:34 --> 00:14:35
			a dyes of ruby,

00:14:36 --> 00:14:37
			a dais of chrysolite.

00:14:38 --> 00:14:39
			It's kind of a greenish

00:14:40 --> 00:14:42
			kind of element, stone actually.

00:14:43 --> 00:14:46
			And a a dyes of gold and a

00:14:46 --> 00:14:47
			dyes of silver.

00:14:49 --> 00:14:51
			These are all the different types

00:14:51 --> 00:14:52
			of of chrysalite,

00:14:53 --> 00:14:54
			silver, gold,

00:14:55 --> 00:14:56
			ruby, pearl

00:14:56 --> 00:14:57
			and of light.

00:14:58 --> 00:15:00
			Light one must be ajeeb.

00:15:01 --> 00:15:03
			So these are the different types of seatings

00:15:03 --> 00:15:04
			that people will be given.

00:15:05 --> 00:15:08
			And then you know, the lowest of the

00:15:08 --> 00:15:09
			low in paradise.

00:15:10 --> 00:15:11
			What will they sit

00:15:11 --> 00:15:13
			on? They won't get to sit on any

00:15:13 --> 00:15:13
			of these

00:15:14 --> 00:15:15
			but they will get

00:15:17 --> 00:15:19
			the lowest of them whereas none is really

00:15:19 --> 00:15:19
			low.

00:15:20 --> 00:15:21
			But just

00:15:28 --> 00:15:29
			The

00:15:31 --> 00:15:32
			little hills of them

00:15:32 --> 00:15:34
			and they'll be sitting relaxed on them

00:15:36 --> 00:15:37
			and will not feel

00:15:38 --> 00:15:39
			because they're not really low.

00:15:40 --> 00:15:42
			They're just lower, they're not low.

00:15:42 --> 00:15:44
			And that's why they will not feel that

00:15:44 --> 00:15:46
			those on the chairs are better seated.

00:15:47 --> 00:15:49
			That answers a question that many people have

00:15:49 --> 00:15:50
			in their mind.

00:15:51 --> 00:15:53
			That when you look up to somebody in

00:15:53 --> 00:15:55
			a higher grade, then what? If there's not

00:15:55 --> 00:15:56
			supposed to be any kind

00:15:58 --> 00:16:00
			of loss, you also get everything you want.

00:16:01 --> 00:16:03
			So there is a difference in status

00:16:04 --> 00:16:05
			between people in paradise.

00:16:06 --> 00:16:08
			But for the people who are lower, they

00:16:08 --> 00:16:10
			won't feel bad about they won't feel bad

00:16:10 --> 00:16:12
			that they're lost or something,

00:16:13 --> 00:16:14
			according to this narration

00:16:15 --> 00:16:15
			anyway.

00:16:16 --> 00:16:17
			They won't feel that those on the chairs

00:16:17 --> 00:16:18
			are better seated.

00:16:21 --> 00:16:23
			Says, wuma yaronaa ashabal qarasi

00:16:23 --> 00:16:24
			bi aftalaminhum

00:16:24 --> 00:16:25
			majlisen.

00:16:25 --> 00:16:27
			They will not think that the people who

00:16:27 --> 00:16:29
			are sitting on those chairs are in a

00:16:29 --> 00:16:29
			better

00:16:39 --> 00:16:41
			Maybe that's their reward. That's their extra reward.

00:16:43 --> 00:16:46
			But for according to this hadith, and I

00:16:46 --> 00:16:47
			don't want to say anything more because Allah

00:16:47 --> 00:16:49
			knows best. Allah will take care of us,

00:16:49 --> 00:16:50
			inshaAllah.

00:16:51 --> 00:16:52
			Abu Hurayrah reports,

00:16:53 --> 00:16:55
			O Messenger of Allah, shall we see our

00:16:55 --> 00:16:57
			Lord? It looks like many Sahaba have asked

00:16:57 --> 00:16:58
			him.

00:16:58 --> 00:17:00
			Because in this world you cannot see, and

00:17:00 --> 00:17:02
			there is such a strong emphasis on the

00:17:02 --> 00:17:04
			fact that Allah is unseeable in this world.

00:17:05 --> 00:17:07
			So that the Sahabas are asking that in

00:17:07 --> 00:17:09
			Jannah, is that going to the case? So

00:17:09 --> 00:17:10
			he said, Abu Hurairah,

00:17:11 --> 00:17:13
			he he asked, shall we see our Lord?

00:17:13 --> 00:17:15
			He replied, yes. Do you doubt you're seeing

00:17:15 --> 00:17:16
			the sun and the moon?

00:17:17 --> 00:17:19
			Abu Hurairah said, no. And he said, similarly

00:17:19 --> 00:17:21
			you will not be doubtful about seeing your

00:17:21 --> 00:17:23
			Lord. None will remain in that gathering but

00:17:23 --> 00:17:25
			that Allah will converse with them. Allah will

00:17:25 --> 00:17:26
			speak to everybody now.

00:17:28 --> 00:17:31
			Every single individual Allah will speak to them.

00:17:32 --> 00:17:33
			To the extent

00:17:33 --> 00:17:35
			that he will say to each each man,

00:17:35 --> 00:17:38
			oh so and so, son of so and

00:17:38 --> 00:17:38
			so.

00:17:39 --> 00:17:41
			Do you remember the day you said such

00:17:41 --> 00:17:41
			and such a

00:17:43 --> 00:17:45
			thing? And he will remind him of his

00:17:45 --> 00:17:45
			shortcomings

00:17:46 --> 00:17:48
			in this world. And the man will say,

00:17:48 --> 00:17:50
			well did you not forgive

00:17:51 --> 00:17:52
			me? Then

00:17:52 --> 00:17:54
			he will reply, indeed it is through the

00:17:54 --> 00:17:56
			broadness of my forgiveness that you have reached

00:17:56 --> 00:17:57
			this degree.

00:17:59 --> 00:18:00
			And as they're speaking,

00:18:01 --> 00:18:02
			as this discussion is taking place,

00:18:03 --> 00:18:04
			a cloud will come over them.

00:18:06 --> 00:18:07
			And shall rain on them.

00:18:10 --> 00:18:12
			A perfume the scent of which they have

00:18:12 --> 00:18:14
			never experienced before. This is while the discussion

00:18:14 --> 00:18:15
			is taking place.

00:18:17 --> 00:18:19
			And our Lord will say,

00:18:19 --> 00:18:21
			come to the honor I have prepared for

00:18:21 --> 00:18:23
			you. Take whatever you wish.

00:18:26 --> 00:18:28
			Then they will go to a market.

00:18:29 --> 00:18:32
			They will go to a market surrounded by

00:18:32 --> 00:18:32
			angels,

00:18:34 --> 00:18:36
			not a market of this world.

00:18:38 --> 00:18:39
			A market here refers to some place where

00:18:39 --> 00:18:40
			you'll go to get

00:18:41 --> 00:18:44
			something, but not with the hustle and bustle

00:18:44 --> 00:18:44
			and chaos,

00:18:45 --> 00:18:47
			and people trying to rip you off,

00:18:48 --> 00:18:49
			or trying to make you buy what you

00:18:49 --> 00:18:50
			do not need.

00:18:51 --> 00:18:54
			So when we say the word market, please

00:18:54 --> 00:18:56
			take it in a Jandathi sense.

00:18:57 --> 00:18:58
			So

00:18:58 --> 00:18:59
			they will go to a market

00:19:03 --> 00:19:04
			surrounded by angels,

00:19:05 --> 00:19:07
			the like of which no eye has ever

00:19:07 --> 00:19:09
			seen, no ear has ever heard, and no

00:19:09 --> 00:19:11
			heart has ever imagined.

00:19:13 --> 00:19:16
			And this is a literally a free market

00:19:16 --> 00:19:18
			in the true sense of the word.

00:19:19 --> 00:19:19
			Free market.

00:19:24 --> 00:19:25
			What do you do in this market?

00:19:27 --> 00:19:27
			You will go

00:19:29 --> 00:19:30
			and take whatever you desire.

00:19:32 --> 00:19:33
			It'll be a place where you can go

00:19:33 --> 00:19:34
			and take whatever you desire.

00:19:35 --> 00:19:37
			For there will be neither selling

00:19:38 --> 00:19:38
			nor buying

00:19:41 --> 00:19:43
			And Allah is just giving.

00:19:44 --> 00:19:45
			Allah is just giving.

00:19:46 --> 00:19:49
			It's not a free to make the wealthy

00:19:49 --> 00:19:49
			even richer.

00:19:50 --> 00:19:52
			It's a giving. It's just purely

00:19:53 --> 00:19:53
			complete

00:19:53 --> 00:19:54
			generosity.

00:19:55 --> 00:19:56
			And in that market

00:19:57 --> 00:19:58
			the people of the garden shall meet one

00:19:58 --> 00:19:59
			another.

00:19:59 --> 00:20:01
			So it looks like

00:20:01 --> 00:20:02
			this is the place where you'll meet other

00:20:02 --> 00:20:03
			people.

00:20:04 --> 00:20:05
			You'll meet one

00:20:06 --> 00:20:08
			another. A man of high rank

00:20:08 --> 00:20:10
			may meet someone of a lower rank.

00:20:11 --> 00:20:13
			Now these are questions that are in people's

00:20:13 --> 00:20:13
			minds

00:20:15 --> 00:20:16
			and none of them are low.

00:20:18 --> 00:20:20
			A higher person will meet a person of

00:20:20 --> 00:20:21
			a lower rank whereas really none of them

00:20:21 --> 00:20:22
			are low.

00:20:23 --> 00:20:25
			And he will be amazed by the clothes

00:20:25 --> 00:20:26
			he will see him wearing.

00:20:28 --> 00:20:30
			Their conversation will not end before he sees

00:20:30 --> 00:20:31
			even better ones on him

00:20:32 --> 00:20:34
			for there should be no sadness there.

00:20:35 --> 00:20:38
			You'll see something and you can desire it,

00:20:38 --> 00:20:39
			you'll get it as well because there's no

00:20:39 --> 00:20:40
			sadness there.

00:20:41 --> 00:20:43
			Sadness is all in this world.

00:20:46 --> 00:20:47
			Difficulties are in this world.

00:20:49 --> 00:20:51
			Those who face the difficulties in this world

00:20:51 --> 00:20:51
			with patience

00:20:53 --> 00:20:54
			and perseverance,

00:20:56 --> 00:20:58
			then none of these difficulties will be with

00:20:58 --> 00:21:00
			them in paradise.

00:21:02 --> 00:21:04
			Then we will return home.

00:21:05 --> 00:21:07
			Now this was addressed to the men, so

00:21:07 --> 00:21:07
			he this is

00:21:08 --> 00:21:10
			a description of the way the men will

00:21:10 --> 00:21:11
			be dealt with.

00:21:11 --> 00:21:13
			So these men who've gone to the market,

00:21:13 --> 00:21:14
			they will come back

00:21:15 --> 00:21:16
			and

00:21:18 --> 00:21:20
			we will be it mentions,

00:21:21 --> 00:21:22
			Thumman Ansarif

00:21:23 --> 00:21:23
			ila manazilina,

00:21:24 --> 00:21:25
			fataalakana

00:21:25 --> 00:21:26
			aswajuna

00:21:46 --> 00:21:47
			And what that means is,

00:21:48 --> 00:21:50
			then we will return home

00:21:51 --> 00:21:53
			to be met by our spouses

00:21:53 --> 00:21:55
			who will greet and welcome us

00:21:56 --> 00:21:59
			and declare that we have returned with even

00:21:59 --> 00:21:59
			more beauty

00:21:59 --> 00:22:01
			than we had left them.

00:22:03 --> 00:22:05
			And this could also be that the women

00:22:05 --> 00:22:06
			will come home and find their husbands

00:22:07 --> 00:22:09
			and the husbands will find their wives.

00:22:12 --> 00:22:13
			And they'll

00:22:13 --> 00:22:16
			say, you've come back. You look even more

00:22:16 --> 00:22:17
			beautiful than you were before.

00:22:18 --> 00:22:20
			So there will be, subhanAllah,

00:22:20 --> 00:22:22
			ever increasing beauty. Ajeeb,

00:22:23 --> 00:22:25
			if every week this is happening

00:22:25 --> 00:22:28
			and every week the beauty is increasing

00:22:28 --> 00:22:31
			and the everybody is already beautiful anyway,

00:22:32 --> 00:22:33
			then this beauty

00:22:34 --> 00:22:35
			cannot be

00:22:37 --> 00:22:39
			it cannot be assessed. It's it's something that

00:22:40 --> 00:22:41
			it's just relatively beautiful,

00:22:42 --> 00:22:43
			even more beautiful.

00:22:43 --> 00:22:45
			And if life is going to continue towards

00:22:45 --> 00:22:47
			the end and it's not beyond Allah subhanahu

00:22:47 --> 00:22:50
			wa ta'ala to make something of even more

00:22:50 --> 00:22:52
			beauty. I have no idea how to understand

00:22:52 --> 00:22:54
			this. This is just this is just so

00:22:54 --> 00:22:54
			subhanAllah.

00:22:55 --> 00:22:57
			Can you imagine every week even more beauty?

00:22:57 --> 00:22:58
			And you think this is the most you

00:22:58 --> 00:23:00
			can do and then there's even more beauty.

00:23:01 --> 00:23:02
			But I mean if people in this world

00:23:02 --> 00:23:03
			can

00:23:03 --> 00:23:03
			can

00:23:04 --> 00:23:06
			do things like when you look at a

00:23:06 --> 00:23:08
			car from the 19 sixties,

00:23:09 --> 00:23:12
			I mean unless somebody is into vintage cars

00:23:12 --> 00:23:13
			of that nature,

00:23:13 --> 00:23:16
			they'll normally prefer the more sleek looking modern

00:23:16 --> 00:23:16
			models.

00:23:18 --> 00:23:21
			And you see that design has been improved

00:23:23 --> 00:23:25
			and floors have been corrected.

00:23:26 --> 00:23:27
			But that's not the case here. There was

00:23:27 --> 00:23:28
			no floor before.

00:23:30 --> 00:23:32
			It's just pure increase in beauty.

00:23:34 --> 00:23:36
			But if we can do that with cars

00:23:36 --> 00:23:36
			now days,

00:23:37 --> 00:23:38
			then

00:23:39 --> 00:23:41
			I mean this is not far fetched. This

00:23:41 --> 00:23:43
			is nothing is beyond Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala.

00:23:47 --> 00:23:49
			So then when this,

00:23:50 --> 00:23:52
			when this assessment is made that you've come

00:23:52 --> 00:23:54
			back even more beautiful than before.

00:23:55 --> 00:23:57
			The reply will be that we have just

00:23:57 --> 00:23:59
			met with our Lord the compeller.

00:24:00 --> 00:24:02
			We've just met with our Lord the compeller.

00:24:07 --> 00:24:08
			And it is our right

00:24:09 --> 00:24:12
			to return with what we have returned with.

00:24:12 --> 00:24:14
			There can be no other way. If we've

00:24:14 --> 00:24:15
			just met Allah

00:24:15 --> 00:24:17
			this is going to happen to us.

00:24:18 --> 00:24:19
			There's nothing else that can happen. There has

00:24:19 --> 00:24:20
			to be some benefit

00:24:21 --> 00:24:22
			and some increase.

00:24:23 --> 00:24:24
			The greatest,

00:24:25 --> 00:24:27
			highest and most noble and perfect felicity

00:24:28 --> 00:24:29
			that is,

00:24:30 --> 00:24:32
			is to see the noble face of Allah

00:24:32 --> 00:24:33
			in the abode of honor

00:24:33 --> 00:24:34
			and of bliss.

00:24:35 --> 00:24:36
			May Allah grant us this.

00:24:38 --> 00:24:39
			Purely through his grace,

00:24:39 --> 00:24:41
			generosity and man manifestance.

00:24:42 --> 00:24:43
			And grant

00:24:43 --> 00:24:45
			it also to our parents,

00:24:46 --> 00:24:47
			our loved ones

00:24:47 --> 00:24:49
			and all the Muslims by his mercy for

00:24:49 --> 00:24:52
			His He's the most merciful one. That's our

00:24:52 --> 00:24:53
			dua Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala.

00:24:54 --> 00:24:56
			May mercy embrace

00:24:57 --> 00:24:59
			Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala says,

00:24:59 --> 00:25:01
			my mercy embraces all things.

00:25:04 --> 00:25:05
			My mercy

00:25:05 --> 00:25:07
			expands over all things,

00:25:07 --> 00:25:09
			and covers all

00:25:12 --> 00:25:13
			things.

00:25:13 --> 00:25:16
			Inform my slaves that I am indeed the

00:25:16 --> 00:25:17
			forgiving and the merciful.

00:25:17 --> 00:25:18
			He

00:25:22 --> 00:25:22
			says,

00:25:29 --> 00:25:32
			That, Say, Peace be upon you. Your Lord

00:25:32 --> 00:25:34
			has prescribed mercy upon himself.

00:25:36 --> 00:25:37
			Repents afterwards

00:25:38 --> 00:25:40
			of that and does right, Allah

00:25:41 --> 00:25:42
			God is merciful. Then,

00:25:44 --> 00:25:45
			QulyaAAabadyaalatheena

00:25:46 --> 00:25:47
			Asrfu Allahanfusihim

00:25:54 --> 00:25:56
			Oh my servants who have

00:25:56 --> 00:26:00
			been prodigal with their own selves. They've transgressed

00:26:00 --> 00:26:01
			against their own selves.

00:26:02 --> 00:26:04
			Despair not of Allah's mercy.

00:26:14 --> 00:26:15
			Thumma yastaghfirillaha

00:26:16 --> 00:26:16
			yajidillaha

00:26:17 --> 00:26:17
			ghafurararheema

00:26:18 --> 00:26:21
			Whoever does evil or wrongs his own soul

00:26:21 --> 00:26:22
			then seeks Allah's forgiveness.

00:26:23 --> 00:26:25
			He will find Allah to be forgiving

00:26:25 --> 00:26:26
			and merciful.

00:26:27 --> 00:26:28
			The Prophet

00:26:28 --> 00:26:29
			said,

00:26:31 --> 00:26:31
			Allah

00:26:32 --> 00:26:34
			has a 100 mercies.

00:26:35 --> 00:26:38
			And this is just to explain. This is

00:26:38 --> 00:26:39
			just to for us to comprehend it. That

00:26:39 --> 00:26:40
			Allah has a

00:26:41 --> 00:26:42
			100 mercies.

00:26:44 --> 00:26:46
			One of which He has sent down to

00:26:46 --> 00:26:48
			be divided between the humans,

00:26:49 --> 00:26:49
			the jinn,

00:26:50 --> 00:26:51
			the birds,

00:26:51 --> 00:26:52
			the cattle

00:26:53 --> 00:26:53
			and insects.

00:26:55 --> 00:26:57
			So out of these, if you split,

00:26:57 --> 00:26:58
			if you quantify

00:26:59 --> 00:27:00
			this mercy

00:27:00 --> 00:27:02
			and make it into a 100 sections,

00:27:02 --> 00:27:04
			you take one section

00:27:04 --> 00:27:06
			and spread it among all the humans, the

00:27:06 --> 00:27:08
			djinn, the birds, the cattle and the insects.

00:27:09 --> 00:27:11
			And this is the same mercy with by

00:27:11 --> 00:27:13
			which all of them have compassion mercy towards

00:27:13 --> 00:27:14
			each other.

00:27:16 --> 00:27:19
			He has saved the 99 mercies

00:27:19 --> 00:27:21
			with which he will be merciful on his

00:27:21 --> 00:27:22
			slaves

00:27:23 --> 00:27:24
			on the day of rising.

00:27:26 --> 00:27:27
			So

00:27:27 --> 00:27:30
			if you wanna hope, we've got a lot

00:27:30 --> 00:27:31
			to look forward to

00:27:32 --> 00:27:33
			as long as we haven't spoiled it for

00:27:33 --> 00:27:34
			ourselves.

00:27:35 --> 00:27:36
			It has been related also that on the

00:27:36 --> 00:27:39
			day of judgment, Allah will cause this inscription

00:27:39 --> 00:27:41
			to appear from beneath the throne.

00:27:43 --> 00:27:45
			In the rahmati Saba Qadwadabi

00:27:46 --> 00:27:49
			That my mercy has outstripped my wrath.

00:27:52 --> 00:27:54
			And I am the most merciful of the

00:27:54 --> 00:27:54
			merciful.

00:27:56 --> 00:27:58
			And then as many as the people of

00:27:58 --> 00:28:00
			the garden will be let out of the

00:28:00 --> 00:28:00
			fire.

00:28:01 --> 00:28:03
			So when he says that though as many

00:28:03 --> 00:28:06
			people are already in paradise, that many more

00:28:06 --> 00:28:08
			people will be taken out of hellfire and

00:28:08 --> 00:28:10
			then taken to paradise.

00:28:10 --> 00:28:11
			The Prophet

00:28:12 --> 00:28:13
			said, Allah has more compassion for his believing

00:28:13 --> 00:28:13
			slave than a mother has for her child.

00:28:13 --> 00:28:14
			Women

00:28:14 --> 00:28:14
			who

00:28:15 --> 00:28:15
			have

00:28:20 --> 00:28:22
			children their mercy is well known. Of women

00:28:22 --> 00:28:22
			who have children,

00:28:23 --> 00:28:25
			their mercy is well known for their children.

00:28:27 --> 00:28:28
			Not a father's mercy,

00:28:31 --> 00:28:33
			But the mother's mercy is definitely known. Allah

00:28:33 --> 00:28:35
			has more mercy than that.

00:28:35 --> 00:28:36
			We've got a lot to look forward

00:28:38 --> 00:28:41
			to. Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala. This is this

00:28:41 --> 00:28:42
			is all creating hope.

00:28:43 --> 00:28:44
			This is all creating hope.

00:28:45 --> 00:28:46
			Allah

00:28:46 --> 00:28:49
			will have such forgiveness than even Iblis will

00:28:49 --> 00:28:51
			be will hope to be reached by it.

00:28:53 --> 00:28:54
			Iblis knows

00:28:55 --> 00:28:58
			and he knows Allah has great mercy.

00:28:58 --> 00:29:00
			So maybe he secretly that's why he's saying,

00:29:00 --> 00:29:02
			I'll do what I like now but I'll

00:29:02 --> 00:29:02
			get his mercy afterwards.

00:29:04 --> 00:29:05
			But the problem is

00:29:05 --> 00:29:07
			that he's missing out something.

00:29:07 --> 00:29:10
			But Iblis, may Allah curse him, cannot be

00:29:10 --> 00:29:12
			include under any circumstance in Allah's

00:29:13 --> 00:29:14
			in Allah's forgiveness.

00:29:14 --> 00:29:16
			For he is among those who have despaired

00:29:16 --> 00:29:19
			and lost hope in Allah's forgiveness and mercy.

00:29:19 --> 00:29:21
			And he is the leader of the

00:29:23 --> 00:29:25
			because Allah has made it clear

00:29:25 --> 00:29:28
			that he forgives not that a partner should

00:29:28 --> 00:29:30
			be ascribed to him, but he forgives

00:29:30 --> 00:29:32
			all else to whomever he wills.

00:29:35 --> 00:29:36
			The Prophet

00:29:36 --> 00:29:37
			also said,

00:29:38 --> 00:29:41
			Allah will forbid the fire to take anyone

00:29:41 --> 00:29:42
			who affirms that there is no God but

00:29:42 --> 00:29:44
			Allah, and that Muhammad is the messenger of

00:29:44 --> 00:29:46
			Allah. Anybody who said that, kinniwallahu Allah,illahi Allah,illahi

00:29:46 --> 00:29:48
			Allah, Muhammad affirmed it

00:29:48 --> 00:29:50
			regardless of what acts he did afterwards,

00:29:51 --> 00:29:53
			eventually they will go into into

00:29:53 --> 00:29:54
			into paradise.

00:29:56 --> 00:29:58
			He will eventually forbid them the fire on

00:29:58 --> 00:30:01
			them. And a herald shall call from underneath

00:30:01 --> 00:30:03
			the throne on the day of rising.

00:30:04 --> 00:30:06
			O nation of Muhammad,

00:30:07 --> 00:30:09
			whatever you owe me

00:30:09 --> 00:30:10
			I release you from.

00:30:13 --> 00:30:13
			Whatever

00:30:14 --> 00:30:16
			you owe me, you haven't done this, you

00:30:16 --> 00:30:16
			haven't done that.

00:30:25 --> 00:30:28
			Then enter the garden through my mercy.

00:30:30 --> 00:30:33
			I've forgiven you now. Forgive between yourselves and

00:30:33 --> 00:30:34
			go into the garden.

00:30:36 --> 00:30:37
			A few other questions,

00:30:37 --> 00:30:39
			a person will be with his spouse in

00:30:39 --> 00:30:40
			the hereafter.

00:30:41 --> 00:30:43
			So for a man who has more than

00:30:43 --> 00:30:45
			one wife, that's quite simple to understand

00:30:46 --> 00:30:46
			because

00:30:46 --> 00:30:49
			men have also been promised many other maidens

00:30:49 --> 00:30:50
			as well.

00:30:51 --> 00:30:53
			And now this normally when women hear it,

00:30:54 --> 00:30:56
			because they have this natural jealousy about them,

00:30:57 --> 00:30:58
			which is not necessarily

00:30:58 --> 00:31:00
			a bad thing, even Aisha

00:31:02 --> 00:31:02
			it's related

00:31:03 --> 00:31:05
			about her and the other wives having the

00:31:05 --> 00:31:07
			same thing. It's a very womanly thing.

00:31:08 --> 00:31:10
			The fact is, to to be really clear

00:31:11 --> 00:31:12
			about this, is that despite the fact that

00:31:12 --> 00:31:13
			Allah

00:31:13 --> 00:31:16
			knows very well how women feel.

00:31:17 --> 00:31:18
			Because if Rasulullah

00:31:22 --> 00:31:23
			But

00:31:26 --> 00:31:27
			no, they're

00:31:28 --> 00:31:29
			Rasulullah

00:31:29 --> 00:31:31
			But no, they

00:31:31 --> 00:31:32
			they

00:31:32 --> 00:31:34
			they also had the same feelings

00:31:34 --> 00:31:37
			as many women have would have today.

00:31:38 --> 00:31:38
			And

00:31:39 --> 00:31:40
			the

00:31:40 --> 00:31:42
			the different plans they would make against each

00:31:42 --> 00:31:44
			other and everything, clearly documented in the hadith.

00:31:45 --> 00:31:46
			But

00:31:46 --> 00:31:48
			it was all out of their love.

00:31:49 --> 00:31:51
			And subhanAllah, when it came down to the

00:31:51 --> 00:31:51
			haqq,

00:31:52 --> 00:31:55
			for example, when Aisha was slandered,

00:31:56 --> 00:31:57
			some of the other wives when they were

00:31:57 --> 00:31:59
			consulted, they had the best chance

00:32:00 --> 00:32:01
			to really

00:32:01 --> 00:32:01
			spoil her

00:32:20 --> 00:32:20
			So

00:32:22 --> 00:32:24
			So what does that mean?

00:32:24 --> 00:32:26
			The one thing that we understand from this

00:32:27 --> 00:32:30
			is that the need of the man for

00:32:30 --> 00:32:31
			more than 1 wife

00:32:33 --> 00:32:35
			while maintaining the first wife.

00:32:36 --> 00:32:38
			That's the shot. That's the condition.

00:32:38 --> 00:32:39
			They

00:32:39 --> 00:32:41
			do. You have to be, you know, you

00:32:41 --> 00:32:44
			have to be just while maintaining that. The

00:32:44 --> 00:32:45
			need, the

00:32:45 --> 00:32:46
			the the the physical,

00:32:47 --> 00:32:49
			emotional whatever need of the the man for

00:32:49 --> 00:32:50
			more than one wife

00:32:51 --> 00:32:52
			is greater

00:32:53 --> 00:32:54
			than the unhappiness

00:32:56 --> 00:32:58
			that is felt by a woman

00:32:59 --> 00:33:01
			towards a co wife or her husband taking

00:33:01 --> 00:33:02
			another

00:33:02 --> 00:33:04
			one. Because you've got 2 things, they're both

00:33:05 --> 00:33:06
			established.

00:33:07 --> 00:33:07
			A man's need

00:33:08 --> 00:33:11
			and a woman's feeling of

00:33:12 --> 00:33:13
			sadness,

00:33:13 --> 00:33:14
			grief,

00:33:14 --> 00:33:15
			jealousy.

00:33:16 --> 00:33:17
			But

00:33:17 --> 00:33:19
			despite the fact that Allah knows this, he

00:33:19 --> 00:33:20
			still allowed it

00:33:21 --> 00:33:23
			with the condition of justice, which is, you

00:33:23 --> 00:33:25
			know, which is as much as the human

00:33:25 --> 00:33:26
			is able to do.

00:33:28 --> 00:33:30
			Right? This is not encouragement to go out

00:33:30 --> 00:33:32
			and look for more than one wife, you

00:33:32 --> 00:33:35
			know. That I'm not I'm just mentioning purely,

00:33:35 --> 00:33:37
			theoretically, to build up the case for Jannah

00:33:37 --> 00:33:38
			here.

00:33:39 --> 00:33:40
			So for a man,

00:33:41 --> 00:33:42
			they will have that.

00:33:42 --> 00:33:45
			More on. Now when women look at it

00:33:45 --> 00:33:46
			from this jealousy perspective,

00:33:47 --> 00:33:48
			it'll be different in paradise.

00:33:49 --> 00:33:51
			Before you get to paradise, anybody.

00:33:52 --> 00:33:54
			You can imagine that before you go into

00:33:54 --> 00:33:55
			certain places,

00:33:55 --> 00:33:57
			you have to go through a detector,

00:33:58 --> 00:33:59
			right?

00:33:59 --> 00:34:01
			Now there you will go to a thing

00:34:01 --> 00:34:03
			which will be like an eliminator.

00:34:04 --> 00:34:07
			So you will before paradise, before anybody can

00:34:07 --> 00:34:10
			get into paradise, they will go through something

00:34:10 --> 00:34:12
			which will take away all of the jealousy

00:34:12 --> 00:34:13
			from their hearts.

00:34:13 --> 00:34:15
			So when they get into paradise there will

00:34:15 --> 00:34:17
			be no jealousy in paradise.

00:34:19 --> 00:34:21
			So the fact that many women who feel

00:34:21 --> 00:34:23
			that how is that possible that men will

00:34:23 --> 00:34:25
			have more than one wife in paradise, even

00:34:25 --> 00:34:26
			if they only had one in this world,

00:34:26 --> 00:34:29
			other meaning maidens of Jannah which have been

00:34:29 --> 00:34:29
			promised.

00:34:31 --> 00:34:34
			Well, don't worry about it because you're not

00:34:34 --> 00:34:35
			gonna have jealousy.

00:34:35 --> 00:34:37
			Even if you want jealousy.

00:34:39 --> 00:34:42
			Because the way women are normally, many women,

00:34:42 --> 00:34:43
			that they

00:34:44 --> 00:34:47
			feel it's unwomanly to be jealous.

00:34:48 --> 00:34:50
			They think it's a bit

00:34:50 --> 00:34:51
			anti natural.

00:34:52 --> 00:34:52
			So

00:34:53 --> 00:34:54
			they like to be jealous

00:34:55 --> 00:34:57
			about it or maybe that's just the way

00:34:57 --> 00:34:59
			I'm and I cannot speak for women.

00:34:59 --> 00:35:01
			Right? So this is just my perspective,

00:35:02 --> 00:35:03
			my understanding.

00:35:04 --> 00:35:06
			So I don't know if they do it

00:35:06 --> 00:35:06
			purposely

00:35:07 --> 00:35:09
			or it's really. But that's a woman's thing.

00:35:09 --> 00:35:10
			I mean I can't speak for a woman.

00:35:10 --> 00:35:12
			Never been into a woman's mind and body.

00:35:12 --> 00:35:13
			So it's impossible

00:35:13 --> 00:35:15
			for us to do that.

00:35:16 --> 00:35:16
			And

00:35:17 --> 00:35:20
			so, you know, maybe I'm I'm just speaking,

00:35:20 --> 00:35:22
			but women, I'm sure they'll appreciate what we're

00:35:22 --> 00:35:23
			speaking about here.

00:35:26 --> 00:35:28
			That you will not have jealousy in paradise.

00:35:28 --> 00:35:30
			It'll be stripped away

00:35:32 --> 00:35:34
			and your perspective will change. So it doesn't

00:35:34 --> 00:35:35
			matter what you think in this world, it'll

00:35:35 --> 00:35:36
			be fine.

00:35:37 --> 00:35:38
			The main thing is this,

00:35:39 --> 00:35:41
			a person was

00:35:42 --> 00:35:44
			telling his wife when she didn't do something

00:35:44 --> 00:35:44
			for him

00:35:46 --> 00:35:48
			that, you know, I'll I'll have other wives

00:35:48 --> 00:35:49
			in paradise.

00:35:49 --> 00:35:51
			So she was also educated,

00:35:51 --> 00:35:54
			also learned. She said, it's okay, I'm gonna

00:35:54 --> 00:35:55
			be their leader anyway

00:35:56 --> 00:35:58
			because the wife of this world

00:35:58 --> 00:36:00
			will be more beautiful than these maidens. You

00:36:00 --> 00:36:02
			know, all of these descriptions we read,

00:36:03 --> 00:36:04
			that you'll be able to see the marrow

00:36:04 --> 00:36:06
			of in their bones

00:36:06 --> 00:36:08
			and they'll have this much and their their

00:36:08 --> 00:36:10
			beauty is such that if they if she

00:36:10 --> 00:36:12
			just looked into this world this will happen,

00:36:12 --> 00:36:14
			the fragrance and so on. The worldly wife

00:36:14 --> 00:36:16
			will be superior to all of them

00:36:17 --> 00:36:19
			and there'll be no jealousy.

00:36:19 --> 00:36:21
			So don't worry about it.

00:36:23 --> 00:36:24
			The other thing is

00:36:25 --> 00:36:26
			that normally

00:36:26 --> 00:36:28
			we understand that

00:36:28 --> 00:36:31
			as mentioned hadith that men it's promised that

00:36:31 --> 00:36:31
			they will have

00:36:32 --> 00:36:33
			wahuroona'een and so on.

00:36:34 --> 00:36:36
			But for women that's not they they have

00:36:36 --> 00:36:37
			not been

00:36:38 --> 00:36:39
			promised multiple partners.

00:36:40 --> 00:36:41
			There have been some

00:36:42 --> 00:36:45
			individuals who've tried to say, no, the Quran

00:36:45 --> 00:36:48
			says, Azwaj. The word is means spouses in

00:36:48 --> 00:36:51
			general, and thus if women want more partners

00:36:51 --> 00:36:52
			than they will be given.

00:36:54 --> 00:36:55
			That seems to be a very,

00:36:56 --> 00:36:58
			I don't think any of the aslaf, any

00:36:58 --> 00:37:01
			of the earliest scholars ever came up with

00:37:01 --> 00:37:02
			that idea.

00:37:02 --> 00:37:04
			It's a very modern kind of kind of

00:37:04 --> 00:37:05
			appeasement,

00:37:06 --> 00:37:07
			apologetic kind of understanding.

00:37:10 --> 00:37:12
			Right? It's just not an understanding that's found

00:37:12 --> 00:37:14
			in the classical literature at all.

00:37:16 --> 00:37:18
			And neither is there anything in the hadith,

00:37:18 --> 00:37:19
			neither is there anything Quran about

00:37:20 --> 00:37:20
			that.

00:37:21 --> 00:37:23
			So there's no need to go down that

00:37:23 --> 00:37:24
			route.

00:37:27 --> 00:37:27
			SubhanAllah.

00:37:27 --> 00:37:29
			Because it's in the nature of a woman

00:37:29 --> 00:37:30
			and as Allah

00:37:30 --> 00:37:32
			SubhanAllah knows best what's in the nature of

00:37:32 --> 00:37:33
			people. And we're not speaking about the few

00:37:33 --> 00:37:36
			individuals that have gone beyond their balance. Whether

00:37:36 --> 00:37:37
			it's men or women

00:37:38 --> 00:37:39
			that then like to do things that are

00:37:39 --> 00:37:42
			haram and that's wrong and totally imbalanced. That's

00:37:42 --> 00:37:43
			that those are exceptions.

00:37:44 --> 00:37:46
			Right? And we deal with the nature here.

00:37:46 --> 00:37:48
			This is what the Allah

00:37:48 --> 00:37:51
			is telling us to keep the kistas and

00:37:51 --> 00:37:53
			the mizan correct, keep the balance correct.

00:37:54 --> 00:37:55
			So

00:37:56 --> 00:37:57
			normally for a woman,

00:37:59 --> 00:38:00
			even in this world

00:38:01 --> 00:38:02
			a normal woman,

00:38:03 --> 00:38:03
			right?

00:38:04 --> 00:38:06
			Is that they have security

00:38:06 --> 00:38:07
			and beauty,

00:38:08 --> 00:38:10
			and they're loved by their husband.

00:38:11 --> 00:38:12
			They want love,

00:38:12 --> 00:38:13
			they want beauty

00:38:13 --> 00:38:14
			and they want security.

00:38:15 --> 00:38:17
			These are probably 2 or 3

00:38:18 --> 00:38:19
			of the most

00:38:19 --> 00:38:20
			important elements

00:38:21 --> 00:38:21
			for a woman.

00:38:24 --> 00:38:26
			It's one of the most important elements for

00:38:26 --> 00:38:27
			a woman.

00:38:27 --> 00:38:28
			If they have security

00:38:29 --> 00:38:30
			and they've got beauty

00:38:31 --> 00:38:32
			and they feel loved,

00:38:34 --> 00:38:36
			that is more important than having multiple partners.

00:38:37 --> 00:38:39
			A man thinks differently though.

00:38:40 --> 00:38:41
			A man thinks differently.

00:38:42 --> 00:38:44
			And women must take it out of their

00:38:46 --> 00:38:48
			head. That the reason why my husband may

00:38:48 --> 00:38:50
			want to another wife

00:38:50 --> 00:38:53
			And again I'm not encouraging, I'm just just

00:38:53 --> 00:38:54
			discussing.

00:38:55 --> 00:38:58
			Right? The reason my why my husband may

00:38:58 --> 00:38:59
			want another wife

00:39:00 --> 00:39:01
			is not because

00:39:01 --> 00:39:03
			there's something deficient

00:39:04 --> 00:39:06
			in me. Women need to take this out

00:39:06 --> 00:39:07
			of their mind.

00:39:08 --> 00:39:10
			As just as I said earlier on, that

00:39:10 --> 00:39:11
			I should not be able to speak for

00:39:11 --> 00:39:13
			women. I'm speaking for women, but I should

00:39:13 --> 00:39:14
			not be able to because I haven't been

00:39:14 --> 00:39:15
			in them. I can't say.

00:39:16 --> 00:39:18
			I'm looking at it from their from my

00:39:18 --> 00:39:19
			perspective that's wrong.

00:39:20 --> 00:39:22
			Right? But I'm But but what I mentioned

00:39:22 --> 00:39:24
			about Allah in the Quran saying that you

00:39:24 --> 00:39:26
			can have more than 1 wife.

00:39:27 --> 00:39:28
			That is a fact

00:39:29 --> 00:39:31
			and there is a fact that women have

00:39:31 --> 00:39:31
			jealousy.

00:39:32 --> 00:39:35
			But Allah overlook that jealousy and allowed the

00:39:35 --> 00:39:36
			man to have 1 more wife. That's a

00:39:36 --> 00:39:36
			fact.

00:39:37 --> 00:39:39
			But when I said, I can't speak for

00:39:39 --> 00:39:40
			women, I mean like in terms of when

00:39:40 --> 00:39:42
			they think about jealousy and why they're jealous,

00:39:42 --> 00:39:45
			that's what I was speaking about. Likewise, women

00:39:45 --> 00:39:47
			should not think for men in the sense

00:39:48 --> 00:39:49
			that, why do they need someone? Is there

00:39:49 --> 00:39:51
			something deficient in me?

00:39:52 --> 00:39:54
			I remember there was a student who was

00:39:54 --> 00:39:54
			not

00:39:56 --> 00:39:58
			married. He had a there was a discussion

00:39:58 --> 00:40:00
			going on about having more than This is

00:40:00 --> 00:40:01
			always a discussion that men have for some

00:40:01 --> 00:40:03
			reason or the other. I don't know why

00:40:03 --> 00:40:05
			but they have this discussion once in a

00:40:05 --> 00:40:07
			while when the women aren't there.

00:40:07 --> 00:40:08
			Right? So

00:40:09 --> 00:40:09
			they

00:40:11 --> 00:40:14
			I'm sure women have their own discussions as

00:40:14 --> 00:40:14
			well.

00:40:16 --> 00:40:17
			Like the Prophet

00:40:17 --> 00:40:18
			related about,

00:40:19 --> 00:40:20
			as related from Aisha

00:40:20 --> 00:40:22
			as well. That these group of women got

00:40:22 --> 00:40:24
			together. It's talking about their husbands. My husband's

00:40:24 --> 00:40:25
			like this, like a leopard.

00:40:26 --> 00:40:28
			He comes in and you know, they're all

00:40:28 --> 00:40:30
			sorts of They were very articulate though. They

00:40:30 --> 00:40:32
			were very eloquent in their descriptions as well.

00:40:32 --> 00:40:33
			Right? We don't have time for that but

00:40:33 --> 00:40:36
			it's a famous hadith. It's related by Allah

00:40:36 --> 00:40:38
			matir Imam Tirmidi in his

00:40:38 --> 00:40:39
			shama'il.

00:40:39 --> 00:40:40
			But

00:40:41 --> 00:40:42
			So there was a student,

00:40:43 --> 00:40:44
			he was having this discussion.

00:40:45 --> 00:40:47
			He was part of this discussion with

00:40:48 --> 00:40:50
			another person who had graduated a scholar. He

00:40:50 --> 00:40:52
			was out there. He was married and everything.

00:40:52 --> 00:40:54
			Student wasn't married. And he was arguing, he

00:40:54 --> 00:40:56
			says, why do you need to get why

00:40:56 --> 00:40:59
			can't you be satisfied with 1 one wife?

00:40:59 --> 00:41:00
			Why do you have to

00:41:00 --> 00:41:02
			So instead of arguing with him,

00:41:04 --> 00:41:05
			the older person said,

00:41:07 --> 00:41:09
			let's have this discussion after you graduate and

00:41:09 --> 00:41:11
			after you get married, 2, 3 years after

00:41:11 --> 00:41:12
			you graduate, let's have this discussion then.

00:41:14 --> 00:41:16
			Let's have this discussion then.

00:41:18 --> 00:41:20
			So they left it. There was no point

00:41:20 --> 00:41:20
			arguing.

00:41:23 --> 00:41:24
			And yes, then this person

00:41:25 --> 00:41:26
			went got married.

00:41:26 --> 00:41:28
			2, 3 years later, they had this discussion.

00:41:28 --> 00:41:29
			And he had to confess to the other

00:41:29 --> 00:41:31
			person, now I understand what you're talking about.

00:41:33 --> 00:41:35
			The problem in our society, in our culture,

00:41:36 --> 00:41:37
			is that women

00:41:37 --> 00:41:38
			think

00:41:38 --> 00:41:41
			that they've got something wrong with them, and

00:41:41 --> 00:41:43
			that is why their husband wanna get married

00:41:43 --> 00:41:43
			again.

00:41:44 --> 00:41:45
			And men stupidly

00:41:46 --> 00:41:47
			make this

00:41:48 --> 00:41:50
			a form of torment of their wives, which

00:41:50 --> 00:41:51
			is completely wrong.

00:41:52 --> 00:41:54
			They have absolutely no guts to go and

00:41:54 --> 00:41:56
			get married again. But

00:41:57 --> 00:41:58
			they keep saying, I'm gonna do it.

00:42:00 --> 00:42:00
			Absolutely

00:42:01 --> 00:42:01
			silly.

00:42:02 --> 00:42:04
			The reason is, that is one of the

00:42:04 --> 00:42:05
			worst things you can do to your wife,

00:42:07 --> 00:42:08
			to torture her like that.

00:42:09 --> 00:42:10
			They feel so insecure.

00:42:11 --> 00:42:13
			They They have nightmares about this thing. They

00:42:13 --> 00:42:14
			get paranoid.

00:42:15 --> 00:42:17
			Then they start making looking at your emails.

00:42:18 --> 00:42:20
			Then they start checking your text messages.

00:42:20 --> 00:42:22
			Then they learn all sort of forms of

00:42:22 --> 00:42:24
			snooping and spying techniques.

00:42:24 --> 00:42:27
			Subhanallah, this is the case I'm telling you.

00:42:28 --> 00:42:29
			But you probably started off.

00:42:30 --> 00:42:32
			And if you don't I'm talking about the

00:42:32 --> 00:42:34
			more righteous ones that don't go out and

00:42:34 --> 00:42:35
			do stuff.

00:42:37 --> 00:42:38
			Because the others then they're

00:42:38 --> 00:42:41
			actually going and talking to others which is

00:42:41 --> 00:42:42
			even worse in Haram.

00:42:43 --> 00:42:45
			Because then it's physically you see the wife

00:42:45 --> 00:42:47
			is seeing that, hey, he's flirting,

00:42:48 --> 00:42:49
			which is totally wrong.

00:42:50 --> 00:42:51
			So I'm talking about the kind of more

00:42:51 --> 00:42:52
			righteous ones that just

00:43:01 --> 00:43:02
			around, coming home

00:43:02 --> 00:43:04
			late, having other so called friends.

00:43:05 --> 00:43:07
			That's completely haram and wrong anyway.

00:43:08 --> 00:43:09
			But it's all

00:43:09 --> 00:43:10
			wrong.

00:43:10 --> 00:43:11
			It's all wrong

00:43:13 --> 00:43:15
			to to do this thing like that.

00:43:15 --> 00:43:17
			There's a halal thing, it's halal.

00:43:18 --> 00:43:19
			You do want to do something, you do

00:43:19 --> 00:43:21
			it the proper way, if you really need

00:43:21 --> 00:43:22
			to do it.

00:43:22 --> 00:43:24
			There's a proper way of doing these things.

00:43:24 --> 00:43:27
			Remember it's illegal in this country to marry

00:43:27 --> 00:43:28
			twice,

00:43:29 --> 00:43:32
			right? It's illegal in this country to marry

00:43:32 --> 00:43:32
			twice.

00:43:34 --> 00:43:36
			But anyway Khair, that's a that's another thing.

00:43:36 --> 00:43:38
			But the main thing that we're speaking about

00:43:38 --> 00:43:40
			here is that do not torture. It's a

00:43:40 --> 00:43:42
			completely wrong thing to do that.

00:43:43 --> 00:43:44
			Right?

00:43:45 --> 00:43:48
			But I wanted to clarify because I think

00:43:48 --> 00:43:51
			people need to understand these things both, from

00:43:51 --> 00:43:52
			both perspectives, from the man's perspective, from the

00:43:52 --> 00:43:53
			woman's perspective.

00:43:54 --> 00:43:55
			But in Jannah,

00:43:56 --> 00:43:58
			it's not established that women have multiple partners.

00:43:58 --> 00:44:00
			They will be more than satisfied to have

00:44:00 --> 00:44:01
			the one

00:44:01 --> 00:44:04
			and to be the the the head of

00:44:04 --> 00:44:07
			all of the wives. There'll be no jealousy

00:44:07 --> 00:44:10
			in paradise. Now how do you perceive that?

00:44:11 --> 00:44:12
			How can a woman perceive that?

00:44:13 --> 00:44:14
			That's her challenge.

00:44:14 --> 00:44:16
			Just like men have their challenges.

00:44:16 --> 00:44:18
			That look, there's gonna be no jealousy.

00:44:18 --> 00:44:20
			My husband insha Allah, he's gonna be in

00:44:20 --> 00:44:22
			paradise with me. He's gonna have more than,

00:44:22 --> 00:44:24
			you know, there's gonna have multiple

00:44:24 --> 00:44:26
			maidens there. It's just a promise from Allah

00:44:26 --> 00:44:27
			Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala. It's the nature

00:44:29 --> 00:44:30
			of man. You don't like it, you've got

00:44:30 --> 00:44:32
			a problem with Allah.

00:44:33 --> 00:44:34
			It's as simple as that.

00:44:37 --> 00:44:39
			If you're thinking about it from this worldly

00:44:39 --> 00:44:39
			perspective,

00:44:42 --> 00:44:43
			right? In terms of modern

00:44:44 --> 00:44:44
			thoughts,

00:44:46 --> 00:44:47
			thoughts, right?

00:44:47 --> 00:44:49
			And and you dis you have something in

00:44:49 --> 00:44:51
			your heart about it,

00:44:51 --> 00:44:53
			then you've got a problem to take care

00:44:55 --> 00:44:56
			of. Because it's established that this is what's

00:44:56 --> 00:44:58
			going to be the case in paradise.

00:44:59 --> 00:45:01
			So you just khalas.

00:45:03 --> 00:45:05
			You don't have to start practicing in this

00:45:05 --> 00:45:06
			world. You don't have to get married in

00:45:06 --> 00:45:07
			this world. You know, I'm just practicing for

00:45:07 --> 00:45:08
			Jannah. You know, you want to practice

00:45:19 --> 00:45:21
			one person said to his mother-in-law that, yeah,

00:45:21 --> 00:45:22
			I'm gonna get married again.

00:45:23 --> 00:45:25
			And a mother-in-law came down on him. Oh,

00:45:25 --> 00:45:26
			so you you you know, you do all

00:45:26 --> 00:45:28
			of these Sunnas before you go to sleep.

00:45:28 --> 00:45:29
			You do these sunnahs when you wake up.

00:45:29 --> 00:45:31
			All of these little, you know, easy sunnahs

00:45:31 --> 00:45:32
			you do those. You're talking about this big

00:45:32 --> 00:45:34
			sunnahs getting married again?

00:45:35 --> 00:45:36
			She was a mother-in-law.

00:45:38 --> 00:45:39
			And a mother-in-law is the toughest one to

00:45:39 --> 00:45:40
			deal with.

00:45:41 --> 00:45:42
			Comes to that.

00:45:43 --> 00:45:45
			But this is very important because the women

00:45:45 --> 00:45:46
			they feel

00:45:47 --> 00:45:49
			they feel denigrated

00:45:49 --> 00:45:51
			that my husband is thinking of another one

00:45:51 --> 00:45:52
			because

00:45:52 --> 00:45:54
			there's something wrong with me. There's nothing wrong

00:45:55 --> 00:45:55
			with

00:45:56 --> 00:45:58
			you, except in individual cases there may be

00:45:58 --> 00:45:59
			something wrong.

00:45:59 --> 00:46:01
			It's just like with a man.

00:46:01 --> 00:46:03
			But in the majority of cases that is

00:46:03 --> 00:46:04
			not the reason.

00:46:06 --> 00:46:07
			It's a man thing.

00:46:08 --> 00:46:10
			Just like it's a women's thing to do

00:46:10 --> 00:46:12
			something else, you know, halaas.

00:46:13 --> 00:46:14
			May Allah

00:46:14 --> 00:46:15
			grant us Jannah

00:46:16 --> 00:46:18
			with our spouse, with our wives,

00:46:19 --> 00:46:21
			and for the wives with their husbands, inshaAllah.

00:46:21 --> 00:46:22
			May

00:46:22 --> 00:46:23
			Allah help us to

00:46:24 --> 00:46:25
			May Allah

00:46:25 --> 00:46:28
			give us tawfiq to help each other to

00:46:28 --> 00:46:28
			get to paradise.

00:46:29 --> 00:46:30
			So that one of us not is not

00:46:30 --> 00:46:33
			trading in hellfire. May Allah protect us from

00:46:33 --> 00:46:34
			that kind of situation.

00:46:36 --> 00:46:37
			And to increase our chances,

00:46:38 --> 00:46:39
			we want to get our

00:46:40 --> 00:46:41
			both our spouse

00:46:42 --> 00:46:44
			and our children.

00:46:45 --> 00:46:47
			So all of us,

00:46:52 --> 00:46:53
			That's Ibrahim

00:46:54 --> 00:46:55
			And if you look at the progeny of

00:46:55 --> 00:46:57
			Ibrahim alaihis salam SubhanAllah,

00:46:57 --> 00:46:58
			Prophets.

00:46:59 --> 00:47:02
			The prophet said, Kareem, ibnul Kareem, ibnul Kareem,

00:47:02 --> 00:47:03
			ibnul kareem.

00:47:03 --> 00:47:04
			Who

00:47:04 --> 00:47:05
			is that?

00:47:05 --> 00:47:07
			Whose genealogy is that?

00:47:08 --> 00:47:10
			The noble one, son of the noble one,

00:47:10 --> 00:47:12
			son of the noble one, Ishaq,

00:47:18 --> 00:47:21
			son of Ibrahim Ishaq, son of Ibrahim alaihis

00:47:21 --> 00:47:21
			salaam.

00:47:22 --> 00:47:23
			But look at his duas,

00:47:27 --> 00:47:29
			Oh Allah make us those who established the

00:47:29 --> 00:47:29
			salat,

00:47:33 --> 00:47:33
			And

00:47:34 --> 00:47:36
			of those of my progeny

00:47:37 --> 00:47:39
			that they should establish the prayer

00:47:39 --> 00:47:40
			is so important.

00:47:42 --> 00:47:44
			So that's why it's encouraged that we encourage

00:47:44 --> 00:47:46
			our family to all be good. So that

00:47:46 --> 00:47:48
			if one of us is left behind somewhere

00:47:49 --> 00:47:51
			or has some weakness or shortcoming,

00:47:51 --> 00:47:53
			the others Insha Allah will help them out.

00:47:53 --> 00:47:55
			You would expect that if somebody is given

00:47:55 --> 00:47:57
			rights for shafa'ah and intercession,

00:47:58 --> 00:48:00
			who are they gonna make shafa'ah of first?

00:48:01 --> 00:48:02
			They're close ones, right?

00:48:04 --> 00:48:06
			You would expect that.

00:48:06 --> 00:48:08
			If you're in paradise and I'm stuck behind,

00:48:08 --> 00:48:09
			you'd help me out, right?

00:48:10 --> 00:48:10
			So

00:48:11 --> 00:48:13
			you would expect that. So that's why you

00:48:13 --> 00:48:15
			you encourage the the surrounding

00:48:16 --> 00:48:17
			to create that atmosphere.

00:48:18 --> 00:48:20
			That's the barakah of having a good family,

00:48:21 --> 00:48:22
			that everybody's doing good.

00:48:23 --> 00:48:24
			May Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala give us the

00:48:24 --> 00:48:26
			tawfiq. We got a lot of hard work

00:48:26 --> 00:48:28
			to do. We can't just live in the

00:48:28 --> 00:48:28
			hope.

00:48:29 --> 00:48:30
			The hope is

00:48:30 --> 00:48:32
			good, it's to balance out the fear, but

00:48:32 --> 00:48:34
			fear is equally important.

00:48:35 --> 00:48:37
			So may Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala give us

00:48:37 --> 00:48:39
			a tawfiq, tawfiq, nasallullaha firdaus. We ask Allah

00:48:39 --> 00:48:41
			subhanahu wa ta'ala to make it easy for

00:48:48 --> 00:48:49
			us in this world to do the good

00:48:49 --> 00:48:51
			things, to have the right mind about these

00:48:51 --> 00:48:53
			things, to think of it in the correct

00:48:53 --> 00:48:54
			way, to see the truth as the truth

00:48:54 --> 00:48:56
			and to follow it, and to see the

00:48:56 --> 00:48:58
			wrong as the wrong, and to abstain from

00:48:58 --> 00:48:59
			it.

00:48:59 --> 00:49:00
			May Allah

00:49:00 --> 00:49:02
			protect us from sins.

00:49:02 --> 00:49:03
			May Allah

00:49:03 --> 00:49:05
			protect us from weaknesses, and from evils, and

00:49:05 --> 00:49:06
			from

00:49:06 --> 00:49:07
			laziness,

00:49:08 --> 00:49:08
			negligence,

00:49:09 --> 00:49:11
			from love of the world to such an

00:49:11 --> 00:49:13
			extent that we don't love to do

00:49:13 --> 00:49:14
			good deeds.

00:49:14 --> 00:49:17
			May Allah increase good deeds. May Allah

00:49:17 --> 00:49:20
			give us love for good deeds. And those

00:49:20 --> 00:49:22
			things which make us closer to paradise.

00:49:23 --> 00:49:23
			And by this,

00:49:24 --> 00:49:27
			may Allah reward all of those whose resources

00:49:27 --> 00:49:28
			we have used

00:49:28 --> 00:49:31
			to conduct this series which we have just

00:49:31 --> 00:49:31
			ended.

00:49:32 --> 00:49:32
			May

00:49:33 --> 00:49:34
			Allah bless all of these authors

00:49:35 --> 00:49:37
			all the way up to Rasulullah sallallahu alaihi

00:49:37 --> 00:49:38
			wa sallam. May Allah shower

00:49:39 --> 00:49:41
			blessings upon him and his mercies upon him,

00:49:41 --> 00:49:42
			as long

00:49:43 --> 00:49:45
			as tongues continue to utter his praise. And

00:49:45 --> 00:49:47
			even beyond that.

00:49:47 --> 00:49:48
			May

00:49:49 --> 00:49:51
			Allah reward all of those who've made all

00:49:51 --> 00:49:53
			of these resources possible for us,

00:49:53 --> 00:49:56
			and organize this course and help to facilitate

00:49:56 --> 00:49:57
			this course. And may Allah reward all of

00:49:57 --> 00:50:00
			those who've attended this series and this course.

00:50:00 --> 00:50:02
			Those who've listened here, those who've listened at

00:50:02 --> 00:50:04
			home, those who've listened online,

00:50:05 --> 00:50:06
			those who've listened

00:50:06 --> 00:50:08
			wherever they are. May Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala

00:50:08 --> 00:50:09
			allow

00:50:09 --> 00:50:12
			this to be a source of forgiveness for

00:50:12 --> 00:50:14
			all of us, a source of closeness to

00:50:14 --> 00:50:14
			him

00:50:15 --> 00:50:16
			for all of us.

00:50:17 --> 00:50:19
			The point of a lecture

00:50:19 --> 00:50:21
			is to encourage people to act, to get

00:50:21 --> 00:50:22
			further,

00:50:22 --> 00:50:23
			an inspiration,

00:50:24 --> 00:50:25
			an encouragement,

00:50:25 --> 00:50:26
			persuasion.

00:50:27 --> 00:50:29
			The next step is to actually start learning

00:50:29 --> 00:50:29
			seriously.

00:50:30 --> 00:50:32
			To read books, to take on a subject

00:50:32 --> 00:50:34
			of Islam, and to understand all the subjects

00:50:34 --> 00:50:36
			of Islam, at least at their basic level.

00:50:36 --> 00:50:38
			So So that we can become more aware

00:50:38 --> 00:50:39
			of what our deen wants from us.

00:50:40 --> 00:50:43
			And that's why we started Rayyan courses so

00:50:43 --> 00:50:43
			that

00:50:43 --> 00:50:45
			you can actually take organized

00:50:45 --> 00:50:46
			lectures,

00:50:46 --> 00:50:49
			on demand whenever you have free time. Especially

00:50:49 --> 00:50:51
			for example, the Islamic essentials,

00:50:52 --> 00:50:54
			course that we have on there. The Islamic

00:50:54 --> 00:50:58
			essential certificate which you take 20 short modules.

00:50:58 --> 00:51:00
			And at the end of that Insha'Allah, you

00:51:00 --> 00:51:03
			will have gotten the the basics of

00:51:03 --> 00:51:05
			most of the most important topics in Islam.

00:51:05 --> 00:51:07
			And you'll feel a lot more confident. You

00:51:07 --> 00:51:09
			don't have to leave lectures behind. You can

00:51:09 --> 00:51:10
			continue to leave, you know, to listen to

00:51:10 --> 00:51:12
			lectures. But you need to have this more

00:51:12 --> 00:51:14
			sustained study as well.
