And the last question here is, is it

permissible to eat lobsters?

I don't know why you would want to

eat them.

They look awful.

I just saw them last week.

They're like creatures.

They're like Khaba'if, to be honest.

The Hanafis don't allow it.

The other Imams allow it.

They say anything from the sea is okay.

The Hanafis say only fish, not crustaceans, which

are bottom eaters, right?

So crabs and lobsters are not allowed in

the Hanafi Madhhab.

Prawns are from the same family, but they've

allowed it because there's some difference of opinion

as to whether they're fish or not.

So they've said, okay, that's allowed.

I don't eat them myself.

I don't eat prawns either.

But lobsters are definitely a no-no for

Hanafis.

For Shafis, Madhigis, Hanbalis, enjoy.

I still think they look weird.

But people say they really taste good inside

once you get beyond the weird look.

But anyway, I guess there's a lot of

other stuff like that as well.
