I recently started studying more thick Hadith etc. Alhamdulillah
however, I found that when I had limited Hadith in mind, I found
myself acting according to them and taking them to heart. Now that
I have a
greater
grasp of Hadith I find myself not as focused and the knowledge feels
like just another Hadith. May Allah forgive me, my question is,
what can I do to help me act more than Hadith? And now that I know
more? Well, it's going to be quite difficult, very difficult fact to
act on every single Hadith because it's so varied and so many things
to make a change in our life is difficult. So it does seem a bit
overwhelming. However, I think if we're disciplined in the way we
look at these things, and we think, Okay, what Hadees can we I
mean, you can set yourself targets, like, I'm going to act on
one of these Hadith a week, a new Hadith I'm going to instill in my
life in a week, sometimes, you can act on a hadith by doing something
once. For example, when we read the Hadith about the Prophet
sallallahu Sallam preying on his animal, facing in whichever
direction it was, even if it was away from the qibla, sitting down,
our Sheikh told us to do that in the coming week. So we acted upon
that, once you've done it once the next time you're in a car, and
just sitting there, you could be doing it again. So as long as
we're acting on something, then we, as long as we're acting on
certain Hadith, and they are alive in our life, we mustn't feel too
bad, or the way shaytan will feel like don't learn any more, the
more we learn, the better because we will be better informed.
There's a there's a reward for just learning more Hadees to start
with, and even one day or the other day will all come into
effect for us and benefit us anyway. But keep targets. I'm
going to do this once a day or you know, once a week I'm going to act
on new Hadith which had the selection select so if I've read
so many Hadith this week, okay, this one, you can mark them as you
go along. Okay, this one can't everything is very difficult, even
brooding or we don't have the time sometimes. But those few that
strikeout, mark them, and then after that, try to act on one of
those, one or implement them in our lives. Very few people, even
from the Obama, who I have seen, that are able to act on every
single Hadith, if at all,
acting on every single hadith is like living like a prophet.
That that's essentially what it is, isn't it? That's, that's a
high task. Right? However, as much as we can do better, don't ever
leave studying Hadith remedy our approach. Don't kill the source.
And that's what's important. May Allah give us Tofik
