I think in terms of giving charity, especially voluntary

charity, then what comes first is the one who's in most need.

So generally, it's the one that generally when you hear the

guidance in terms of who you should give charity to, it's

generally about who's in most need, which area is in most need.

So that's what will, that's one governing aspect. And then number

two is close relatives. So the closer your relatives and they're

in need is better to give them than to give somebody more

distance. So based on that, you can try to figure out who to give

it to. What I would suggest, though, is that at the end of the

day, we as Muslims, if we start saying that don't give anything to

cancer research, then don't Muslims get cancer. You know,

don't Muslims have cancer, we have cancer as well. Right? At the end

of the day, the benefit of that will any legitimate non Muslim

charity that is working for the benefit of humanity in general,

then I believe we should give them something because, according to

the Hanafis

they because of the Hadith that says that Zakat is only for

Muslims, right based on the hadith of Morocco, the Allahu Anhu they

say that otherwise we'd allows the cut for anybody, but in Zakat is

generally restricted to only Muslims, but not for charity. And

even so the counterfeiter can be given to non Muslims. Right? So

it's so the cattle feeder can be given to poor non Muslims. So I

would say that yes, you give your mon your main charity to the poor

Muslims of the air of the world, because that is something you have

to do. But I don't think we should deprive the non Muslim charities

especially if they're working for humanity, because we're going to

take benefit from that as well. I lost my mother to cancer Rahim

benefit from their research that they're going to do they have to

be legitimate. You know, of course, not every charity out

there is legitimate. And the other point I want to make just about

direct debits is that what happens with direct debit is again, it's

that thing about doing something out of routine, and then really

doing it with your mind. Doing the benefit of doing direct debit is

at least you are doing a donation every month. So it's going and

it's accumulating even though you you will forget about it. Right

you will you're not going to look at your balances every month. So

if your money is just coming in and 20 pound is going 30 pounds is

going however if you can think about it every month that okay,

this month, this much has gone that will be better off because

then you're connecting yourself, but at the same time it's very

good to give a direct debit because otherwise we'll forget to

give every month anyway. So inshallah we'll see the benefits
