Lots of children want to do his, they would love to be a half is of
the Quran, right?
And I'm going to tell our children that among those who are
memorizing the Quran out of every 10 people, so let's just say
there's 10 People who are memorizing the Quran, this is my
observation that out of them, one or two maximum out of 10 people
are going to be those who will learn themselves, who will wake up
themselves, who will be diligent themselves, and they won't have to
be pushed. They just have to be slightly encouraged here and
there. But they know what they have to do they want to do it,
they sit and read and learn and memorize and review and revise.
Right, and they're on it, usually only about one or two out of 10.
Then on the opposite side, you're going to have one or two who are
never going to do it because either they're just not capable,
or they're just too lacks, and lazy in everything else. There's
the six or seven in between who formed the biggest group.
That group is the one who wants to do it. It's their dream to do it.
They don't want to give up but they keep getting sidetracked.
They keep getting distracted. They'd rather play fortnight
they'd rather surf online, they'd rather go football. So if they
have to learn a lesson, they'll do it last minute job. If they have
to learn their revision, they won't learn it properly. They'll
just do it just about just do it. And then they'll get lazy. And the
teacher I've had cases where we've told the student just leave, go
and do something else. No, I don't want to leave, then learn them.
Okay, then he learns for two, three more days properly, maybe
for a week and then it's slackens out again? So the answer to this,
this is one I'm going to tell the children which group do you want
to be from?
You're wasting your time otherwise, because the longer you
take, the longer you don't have free time to do something else. So
why don't you just learn it properly, finish it off, get it
solid, then you will be laughing for the rest of your life.
Remember, when you are learning if you learn it properly now, it
becomes etched it becomes inscribed in your heart and you
will never forget it if you learn it properly. Now you have to learn
it so well that ultimately when you finish you should be able to
read the whole Quran in one setting that takes you 10 hours to
do and mashallah lots of them. The mother said that my son goes to
that's what they do there once you finish they ultimately build you
up to be able to do the entire Quran in one sitting you know with
some breaks in between but in one setting, and they only get three
or four mistakes mashallah because that's when they allow them to do
it. That's where you want to get to hurry up and do it is a lot of
reward after that. Everything will become easy afterwards. So don't
waste your time now and then waste so many years in doing that, just
get it done.
And ask Allah for assistance when you do feel lazy about it. Ask
Allah for assistance. You can then play all your life you can do
other things in your life inshallah. Jazak Allah here for
listening. May Allah subhanho wa Taala bless you. And if you're
finding this useful, you know,
as they say to that like button and subscribe button and forwarded
on to others, just like hello here and Salaam Alaikum Warahmatullahi
