			Allah subhanho wa Taala.

00:01:22 --> 00:01:29
			In today's talk, I'll speak about salata. lista hora. And as brother episode mentioned,

00:01:30 --> 00:02:02
			concerning speaking about selected secara we always think about when we think of icyhot is always
like what matters. And so any lecture or any topic that has marriage in it, inshallah you get
people's attention, but there are two main topics that will always get people's attention, marriage
engine, so the third time, so I think we should have another a third topic, it will keep everybody
awake, which is Gene marriage. So you combine the two goods.

00:02:04 --> 00:02:06
			So, visualize it behind lasala

00:02:08 --> 00:02:21
			What's the Latin a staccato, there are so many misconceptions concerning how to pray when to play
it. How many times to pray this particular prayer, and it's so important, it's so important, but
there are so many

00:02:22 --> 00:02:27
			misconceptions and misunderstandings, concerning selectively staccato.

00:02:28 --> 00:02:50
			And in Islam, when we ever when we make decisions and everything that we do, we always return to
Allah Subhana Allah to Allah because we put our trust in Allah Subhana Allah and if we put our trust
in the loss of a handle Allah insha Allah, Allah subhana wa Taala will take care of everything. Last
night for those who attended the program at alhuda.

00:02:51 --> 00:02:55
			Shahbaz Sharif, he mentioned about going through life.

00:02:56 --> 00:02:57
			With a GPS,

00:02:58 --> 00:03:01
			we had a GPS system, you have it every time you get lost,

00:03:02 --> 00:03:04
			it will tell you like off road off route,

00:03:05 --> 00:03:16
			reroute rerouting or something like that, you got to go to the left or to the right and so forth. If
there was ever a GPS system is slamming GPS system for your lives, it's so optimistic

00:03:17 --> 00:04:01
			because Latin istikhara is divine guidance from Allah subhanho wa Taala. So maybe the more
appropriate topic or the title of this, this lamp instead of the Divine compass, is the divine GPS
in sha Allah Subhana maybe the next time will when title is that way. Because when you put your
trust in Allah subhanaw taala and ask him for guidance. If you are sincere in that aspect. Then in
sha Allah subhana wa Tada, you have a great tool. Imagine every decision that you make in sha Allah
Subhana Allah that will always be the best for you. How many decisions have we made in the past that
we now regret?

00:04:02 --> 00:04:07
			How many decisions just think about the decisions that we have made? That we actually have
regretted?

00:04:09 --> 00:04:11
			Doing or following?

00:04:13 --> 00:04:17
			Now think did we play a staccato when we made those decisions?

00:04:18 --> 00:04:19
			If we play this harder,

00:04:21 --> 00:04:43
			when we made those decisions, we will never regret because there will be divine guidance from Allah
subhanho wa Taala. And he'll guide us to that which is more appropriate, and that which is best. And
so that is why the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam taught istikhara to the companions just like
he taught that I had on the Quran, because it's insignificant and because of its importance also.

00:04:45 --> 00:04:57
			And in this world, in this society, in general, in every society, there are ways in which people
make decisions. Sometimes people make decisions, according to the

00:04:59 --> 00:05:00
			the signs, you know,

00:05:00 --> 00:05:05
			astrological signs there, Pisces or Aries, or whatever it is, and they read these,

00:05:06 --> 00:05:25
			these things that people write on the newspapers, and sometimes they make decisions off of that. And
these people who are writing that writing these things, they don't even know anything. It's just to
them, they're just writing anything that they feel that might be general fit, fit the general
public. And it's just pretty much there's nothing

00:05:26 --> 00:05:34
			firm or principles that they base, the writings and so forth on. And some people they make those
decisions, like some Muslims,

00:05:36 --> 00:05:37
			they make the decisions, I say they use

00:05:39 --> 00:06:19
			the spear, you know, we say Subhana, Allah, they'll use that out do it. I should I shouldn't I
should I say that. And then in America, of course, you get the rose paddle, right? You say, he loves
me, he loves me, not, he loves me. And he loves me not, and so forth. He doesn't like me, Oh, I got
to think I should get married to this particular person. So people make decisions different way. And
all of these decision, all these methods and ways that people use to make decisions are just
trivial. They're just they have no basis no benefit whatsoever, and how can you we ourselves are
humans, and we're putting our trust in these pedals. And it doesn't even make sense logically, oh,

00:06:19 --> 00:06:41
			by reason, doesn't even make sense at all. And Arabs, they used to do the same thing. They used to
do what's called as lamb. And they used to pick, they used to use divination with arrows and they
used to pick such and such if they had the long arrow or the short arrow or the short stick or the
long stick, they would travel or not travel. And sometimes they would

00:06:42 --> 00:07:25
			wait and wait for signs. So if a bird was traveling, or a black bird or a crow or something like
that was probably as they start flying, the first bird that they saw flying towards the east or
towards the west, or north or south or whatever it is, they would, they would base their decisions
on whether to travel or whether they get married or whether to start a business or so forth, on
these birds that the flight or the ways or the direction of the fights of these birds. And of course
Islam when Islam came, Allah subhanho wa Taala forbade all of that Allah Subhana says and sort of,
totally Metallica one meter to a demo Allah, zero Hillel, Allah heavy. Allah Subhana says haram for

00:07:25 --> 00:07:33
			you are the meats of animals that haven't been slaughtered islamically and then blood and the lamb
and

00:07:34 --> 00:07:52
			the swine. And also in the end, after that Allah subhana wa tada mentioned one test oxy mobile
Islam, and that you use definitions with arrows, that ecosystem indeed that is, that is indeed a
transgression and a great sin. And the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam

00:07:53 --> 00:08:39
			also said, in an insoluble body, in a Hadith, which is say when the Prophet sallallahu went into the
Kaaba, and he saw that the there was a picture of Prophet Ibrahim Alayhi Salaam in Somalia. And in
their hands, were these arrows that they used to use to this decide matters. And the Prophet
sallallahu alayhi wa Taala, whom Allah May Allah Subhana Allah destroy them, look at the Alamo.
anahim lamea stocksy maybe they need new that Ibraheem alehissalaam in his mind, they never use
these methods. They never use them in nations with arrows and so forth. And the prophets Allah La,
La La, La La La, La La Jolla. manchaca, Hannah was stuck semi auto German soccer in Europe, this

00:08:39 --> 00:08:44
			person will not reach the highest level, in other words, you are not into paradise, it

00:08:45 --> 00:08:57
			will not reach to higher levels of meter level current levels of Paradise if he goes and does
fortunetelling or practices fortune telling, or

00:08:58 --> 00:09:20
			I will I will stack semer or uses these methods like divination, with arrows and so forth. Our Raj,
I'm in South Africa, Europe, or he sees a bird flying and so forth. And he goes back and he doesn't
travel because of that, because of these these signs and so forth. So this is not part of Islam and
Islam. Islam teaches that to slowly put our trust in Allah Subhana Allah,

00:09:22 --> 00:09:26
			one of the one another method, one of the things that

00:09:27 --> 00:09:41
			can be put together with is the kata is the shadow is the showers consultation. You can salt with a
loss of a handle of data, and you can talk with your Muslim brothers and your Muslim sisters.

00:09:42 --> 00:09:59
			If you are going to decide in an affair, and if somebody asks you for an advice, then it becomes
something of an obligation upon you to advise them if you know it. The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa
sallam I said happened Muslim and Muslim said

00:10:00 --> 00:10:23
			The rights of a Muslim upon another Muslim is six. And one of the one of which he said, he has done
so hackathon. So if he asks you for advice to give him advice, so consultation and giving each other
advices when making decisions is also a part of Islam. And of course our Deen is based upon us. Our
Deen is based upon Messiah and the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam

00:10:24 --> 00:10:25
			he,

00:10:26 --> 00:10:32
			some of the scholars have mentioned. Yeah, they said, Medina man, Eddie, Minister, holla, holla
shower on,

00:10:33 --> 00:11:11
			a person will never regret. If he praises the harder if he consults or places harder and asks Allah
subhanho wa Taala, for the best, and he consults with the people. So there are two things you have
to press harder and console, you can do either 111 or the other First, it doesn't really matter the
scholars have mentioned you can ask for advice, and then press the car, or you can play a call and
ask for advice. Either way, and after that, until those who handle it that you should just go
forward with it. And you know, when we pray, it's the harder when we pray, it's the harder, you only

00:11:12 --> 00:11:53
			are allowed to play istikhara on affairs, or on matters that are allowable. So you can't play
istikhara on affairs that are hot on because you're not supposed to do them anyways. Like for
example, if somebody wants to go, he's about to go to Las Vegas, meaning he's, he's deciding on
whether to go gambling in Las Vegas or not. There's let me play staccato Should I go or not, you
don't have to press the huddle and things that are hot on because they're haram and you're not
supposed to do them to start with. So you only play a staccato and things are move back, or things
are on macro things that are disliked and things that group those matters, you don't play a staccato

00:11:53 --> 00:12:00
			on whether to do them or to leave them. And you do not play a staccato on things that are
obligatory. Let's say for example,

00:12:01 --> 00:12:31
			you owe somebody money. And you know, you have to pay them back. Should I pay this person back or
not? Let me play staccato. No, you all live, it's obligatory upon you to pay or should I pray? Or
should I pray? Should I pass or should I pass, you don't play a second on those matters, because
they are obligatory upon you and you have to pray, you have to do them. And also on the things that
are recommended, if there's something that you should always do them. If they are so now you should
always do them and you don't really need don't need to praise the cloud in that matter. But if there
are two things

00:12:33 --> 00:13:00
			that are considered MOBA, meaning you're allowed to do them, whether you do them or not, or whether
you leave that particular matter or do that particular matter, it's permissible for you either way.
So in these affairs, that's when it's permissible, and that's when you should pray on istikhara. And
when you when you create, so, when we place the order, for example, you know, getting married to
this person or that person or whether you should get married

00:13:02 --> 00:13:37
			right now, or continue your studies and so forth. These affairs, you consult with those have
knowledge and when you consult, consult with people who have experience or consult with people who
have previous previous experience or they have knowledge with specialized in that particular matter
or that particular affair. And so consulting with the people and then praying is the harder if you
do these two things in sha Allah subhana wa tayana you will never regret if you start when when you
make those decisions and with the st Hata.

00:13:39 --> 00:14:07
			Another thing is when do you When do you say the staccato and when do you say to do out the staccato
and how you say them? And to get to answer this question. We have to read the Hadith of the Prophet
sallallahu alayhi wa sallam from jabiru Abdullah here are the lava angle in which he said Cana
Rasulullah Khanna, Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, you are luminous the hora is more equally
half gamma your alumina Surah tamina for

00:14:08 --> 00:14:47
			the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam used to teach us and istikhara in all our affairs, just like
he taught us the Quran. Just like he taught us the Quran. And some of the scholars have said, What
is this word just like mean? Is it just like meaning because of its importance? Yes, some of the
scholars said it was because of its importance. Others have said this because you say the province
of used to teach the doula just like he talked about and because he used to teach them word by word.
He would say recite recite this, and so the companions will recite them. But Allah Subhana Allah
knows best. When we read this particular Hadi when the prophet SAW him said he used to teach them

00:14:47 --> 00:14:59
			just like this one of them is because of the Quran is being read. The Quran is something that you
read all the time or as Muslims, practicing Muslims is something that we always should be reading.
And that's

00:15:00 --> 00:15:04
			St. hora is something that we're always in need of

00:15:05 --> 00:15:44
			every day, we have decisions to make all the time. And sometimes we regret our decisions because we
don't place the cloud and the cloud isn't just for marriage. It isn't just most people think it's
just for marriage or starting a business and so forth. Now and for any affair that you have doubts
in and you don't know which one to decide, for example, you know, we have a lot of us right a lot of
us we are always regretful of the phone plan that we choose right or the phone company should I pick
sprint t mobile or whatever right later on they start charging you all this money and so forth to
holla maybe we pray this economy that time would have chose the right plan with the right minutes

00:15:44 --> 00:16:24
			and the right company that doesn't steal our money all the time. So even in these affairs, you can
play us the harder because you don't know what to decide upon. And if this is a this is if we place
the heart inshallah soprano you will have this divine compass and divine GPS which will guide you.
And then when we read more about the heart, I saw that we will see the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa
sallam said, either him or her to whom will Murray palier carrock Itanium in writing for a virus or
Yella. He said if one of you hum if one of you wants to do something, then let him make tool to rock

00:16:27 --> 00:17:11
			to rock as of Sunnah prayers, besides the obligatory prayer, so you pray similar prayers and to rock
as of sadhana prayer, and then you make the istikhara. And some of the scholars have said you should
make this the hora inside the prayer before you get to the sneem. And others have said you can say
it afterwards. In other words, after that the same you say Salaam Alaikum. Afterwards, you can make
a staccato. And so when the prophet SAW ones that either Hama haidakhan, will AnnMarie when one of
you once or has a desire or he wants to do something, and he's undecided. Now, in the ad, it says
that the profit someone taught is the heart of it or more equally in all their parents. But we

00:17:11 --> 00:17:48
			mentioned that not every single thing like obligatory matters and so forth, we don't have to pay
staccato for, and also the, you know, the matters that are very trivial. Virtual bonus, just the
normal things we don't need to press harder for, like, for example, should I make steak today? Or
should I make spaghetti? Now these are like little things that are not really trivial, you know,
this trivial little little things. You don't really have to play staccato for them anything that
will maybe by by making them it will, it will, it has, it has a lot of effects in your life and so
forth, that maybe you can place the car for but these these little things about eating and drinking

00:17:48 --> 00:17:48
			and so forth.

00:17:49 --> 00:18:32
			You don't really have to place the cloud over them while the hotel and then the Prophet sallallahu
alayhi wa sallam said by the other Khattak Itanium in the way it is oriola and then they let him
make two Rockers, have some prayers mean not obligatory prayers. And so the person prays after
prayer, if he makes his do this do on this particular day, after he makes this particular one after
hit that this name, if he wants to, he can raise his hand. He wants to he can raise his hand and
make dua if he makes it inside the prayer before that this name, he makes it when he finishes the
Shahada, and the Salatin ebrahimian then he makes the selection istikhara. And afterwards, the

00:18:32 --> 00:19:00
			Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, Somalia, Somalia Paloma in the US, the hero can last up,
look at the quadratic, and afterwards when you pray or two records. And another matter is that
another thing is, when you pray to lock us the majority of the scholars are of the opinion that you
don't pray in the times that prayer is forbidden. So you don't play for example, staccato it is
after it's after budget, prayer, or after.

00:19:01 --> 00:19:14
			Also prayer, or any times in which prayers are forbidden that you don't pray istikhara and even the
Shabbat a scholars shop is scholars of the opinion that if there's a reason for you to pray
suddenness, even in the times and when you don't pray,

00:19:15 --> 00:19:17
			when you're not allowed to pray.

00:19:18 --> 00:19:53
			You can pray if there's a reason, but they decided they divided the reasons into three types. The
reasons and the ASVAB are divided into three categories and three types. The first is as Bob which
is Previous to that particular matter which comes before that particular matter. For example, when
the Prophet similan said is that de la had a common method for is to use an era when one of you
enters the masjid. Then let him not sit down until he prays to rock a person, as a person. So if
that matter if that particular action

00:19:54 --> 00:19:59
			comes before the Selector List, the harden up or even the chef is closer they say you should or it
comes before that

00:20:00 --> 00:20:42
			A lot in the tundra are forbidden, then you for them you should pray about majority of scholars say
you don't pray now in the middle if it can, sometimes sometimes, the reasons come at the same time
like so let's go to the eclipse prayer. So eclipses happening and you're praying the same time. And
then sometimes the action follows the prayer. So the scholars have said, if the action follows the
prayer, then you don't pray. Even the sharpest scholars have mentioned this. You don't pray this a
lot of istikhara you don't play this a lot to this to her, even if it's if it's in the time and when
it's forbidden. Because the action in which you are going to do is after, not before the prayer. So

00:20:42 --> 00:21:06
			if it's before then there's a difference of opinion but after So in general, the majority of the
scholars have the opinion that you don't pray after us if you don't pray out the budget. When you
pray, Salat and istikhara Allah tala, then the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said and then say
these words Allahumma inni as the hero get eliminated, Oh Allah, I see consultation with as the hero
comes to seek

00:21:07 --> 00:21:54
			consultation or decision decisions that you're going to make with your knowledge in the katana mala
Adam because you know Allah I do not know. And as Dr. Okay before the Vatican, and I asked for that
you give me the ability and give me the strength to go forward with it by your strength. In other
words, because we say that there is no strength and no mind except from Allah subhanho wa Taala. And
then we say what is alchemy and follicle Allium and like I asked you from your great generosity or
your great favors for indicators out there without him Allah, Allah, Allah Malou. And indeed you are
the all knowing you are the Knower of the unseen and Allah Subhana knows the unseen and part of the

00:21:54 --> 00:22:36
			unseen. One of the knowledge is of the unseen is something that is in the future. So anything in the
future Allah Subhana knows better than us. And so that's why we ask Allah subhana wa tada to guide
us and show us the straight path and the way that will be most beneficial for us in this life and in
the Hereafter. And because a lot of Han alone knows the unseen and he alone knows the future and
knows what we will what will happen if we chose a particular decision. And then we say Allah
Khomeini, because it's Allah has, he said, the prophet SAW and said, and then say, Oh Allah, if you
know that this particular affair and then in this area, you mentioned that affair, or you mentioned

00:22:36 --> 00:22:56
			that particular deed that you want to do or not. So in this area, we say, Oh Allah, if marriage to
so and so is better, or going to travel or traveling or starting this business is better than you
say, currently beginning it is better for me in this life. And then here after in my livelihood,
activity, Emery

00:22:58 --> 00:23:05
			and also in the final affairs, in the end, it will be all you'll always be better, at better for me,
during the naked easy make it

00:23:07 --> 00:23:18
			normally means make it possible for me, make it possible for me so much that it was so well
yesterday or yesterday, and then make it easy for me awesome.

00:23:19 --> 00:24:02
			So make it possible for me for yourself wholly, to methodically and then give me Baraka in it, give
me blessings in it. Because anything that we do, if we there's no blessing, then there will be no
good in it whatsoever. But if there's blessing in it, there'll be continual goodness, there'll be
continual goodness. And this is the meaning of Baraka is continual goodness. And it's goodness
that's that will always be there and from all from all aspects of always be good for you. And then
after that, we say that Oh Allah, if this particular affair is bad for me, it is not good for me,
then take me away from it and take it away from me. And

00:24:04 --> 00:24:05
			then we say Oh Allah

00:24:07 --> 00:24:21
			make possible for me all the good that is possible. And then make me please with a decision you have
given to me or that you have chosen, chosen for me. So when we pray this staccato

00:24:23 --> 00:24:59
			Allah subhana wa Taala will make it easy for us to choose the right path or choose the right way.
And from this, from the words of this, select the lexicon of the scholars have said that once you
make it, how many times you pray it First of all, first of all, some of those narrations I prayed
seven times but most of the narrations are, as mentioned by Nigel Escalante, these narrations are
weak generations, and they cannot be the basis of this of that. So the time that you pray it, you
should pray it actually

00:25:00 --> 00:25:38
			Some of the scholars have said you should pray just one time. Just pray and make your decision.
Right. And then make your decision, make the decision according to what you think is best for you in
this life in the hereafter. And even if you made the wrong decision, even if you made the wrong
decision, a loss of handlers, Allah will guide you to the right one. Let's say for example, you
wanted to marry this particular brother or the political system, and you really want to marry her
and you pray the staccato, you ask Allah Subhana sincerely to guide you to that which is best for
you. And then of course, you saw her beauty or saw his soul and soul and if you wanted to marry that

00:25:38 --> 00:25:58
			particular person, and you chose that decision, so you went forward with it. Now, let's say by
marrying that person, in the end, it will be bad for your deen it will not be good for you. If that
is going to be the case, even if you went forward with it, a loss of a handler will take her away,

00:25:59 --> 00:26:26
			something will happen that will cause that particular engagement or particular marriage before it
happens. It will allow someone will take it and not allow you to marry that person. So something
will happen. Because why because we say Oh Allah, if this particular fair is not good for me, in
this life or in the hereafter. Plus with who I need,

00:26:27 --> 00:26:38
			take it away from me keep it far away from me, was with me I'm moving keep me far away from it. So a
lot of hand will take you away from it. So from this Heidi, when you pray,

00:26:39 --> 00:26:47
			when you pray for the understanding from it is as soon as you finish praying, inshallah, so can I
just make your decision because you have already put your trust in Allah Subhana Allah.

00:26:48 --> 00:27:27
			Of course, as I mentioned, if you haven't consulted with people yet, then consult with them, maybe
you might have made that decision to do such and such action. But then after consulting that brother
changed your mind or that sister changed your mind. That consultation is part of the staccato Allah
subhanho made you consult this particular person. And in the you know, this person told you not to
do some such and such action. And this that would be part of the staccato that will be part of a
loss of handling or guiding you away from that particular affair or guiding you closer to a
particular affair. And thus,

00:27:28 --> 00:27:38
			if we place the order, and we just go for it, and just put your trust in Allah subhanho wa Taala.
And sometimes, there are times in which we are not able to pray.

00:27:39 --> 00:28:23
			Sometimes we're not able to pray as the thought of because like, for example, for a woman, for a
woman, she might be in her menses and if she's in her message she cannot write. And thus, if this is
the case, some of the scholars have mentioned that if he can, if the decision can wait, then she can
wait until she was able to pray that she can play this the call. And if the decision of she has to
make the decision, if it's something that she has to make immediately. And they don't have time to
do that, particularly you don't have time to decide. And you only have maybe one day or a few hours,
then just make a do I say the str without the prayer. Because it's the heart itself is the doula and

00:28:23 --> 00:29:03
			the reason why we pray some of the scars that when the wisdoms that we why we pray, and then we make
this door because, you know by praying opens up the doors of the heavens for us and then after that
we make the do I to Allah subhanho wa Taala, the dualist Ihara and after making life harder, you
have to have in your heart, the certainty the opinion that Allah subhanho wa Taala will guide you to
that which is best. Have that certainty have that belief in your heart that Allah will guide that
which is best for you, because that's part of a man and if you have that certainty, ah Allah, Allah
Subhana Allah will guide you and

00:29:04 --> 00:29:11
			He will make you choose the correct decision in sha Allah subhana wa Tada. Now, so Latin istikhara

00:29:13 --> 00:29:14
			can be prayed.

00:29:15 --> 00:29:16
			And

00:29:17 --> 00:29:30
			as I mentioned anytime and after prayer, of course, if you memorize this, select the list that is
the harder it is better for you. This is something that every Muslim to do.

00:29:31 --> 00:29:50
			You have to memorize it, and if you but if you don't memorize it, you can read from piece of from a
piece of paper, you can read and make do off on that paper after you pray. Just hold up the piece of
paper and make dua to Allah Subhana Allah Allah by reading from the paper, and that's also
permissible. And when we play this, the harder

00:29:51 --> 00:30:00
			there's another misconception that people have they think that you have to see a dream or you have
to pray three times or four times or if you see this popular

00:30:00 --> 00:30:15
			Dream insha Allah subhanho wa Taala just go for it, if you don't see a dream, keep on praying. And
some people, they even, you know, I heard of a brother, he said he prayed he praises staccato. And
before he goes to sleep, he puts two pieces of paper under his under his pillow.

00:30:16 --> 00:30:40
			Do don't do after he praises the car, he goes to sleep, he wakes up in the morning. And he picks out
what it takes out one of these papers do or not do, it says do that he'll do it without any thinking
whatsoever. And this is the same as somebody almost almost similar to those people who they will,
you know, pick lots of cell phones, you don't really have to do that. Just make your decision,
whatever you think, but

00:30:42 --> 00:30:44
			you have to be sincere in your heart

00:30:45 --> 00:30:53
			and make the decision that you think will be best for you in this life and in the Hereafter.

00:30:54 --> 00:31:32
			You know, sometimes you have a very strong inclination towards this particular decision, you really
want it, let's say you really want this, you want to marry this particular system, or this
particular brother, but you know, they don't really have good manners or their Dean isn't very
strong and so forth. But, man, she's beautiful. Right? Like you have this strong inclination towards
that particular area. So but you know, yourself, you know, like, you know, Suhana if I get married
to her, I don't think it would be good for my team. So you already know in your heart that you know,
in your heart that you actually not marrying her or marrying them not married, that particular

00:31:32 --> 00:32:15
			person is better for you, for your deen. So pick that one and be sincere. So no. And that's what a
mama No, he said, he's he mentioned that when you pray harder, just be sincere. And first, just pick
the decision you think will be best for you in this life and in the Hereafter. And sometimes you
know, you'll be inclined to making a certain decision and afterwards after playing istikhara you see
the opposite. And of course, this is insha Allah Subhana from Allah subhanho wa Taala. So you don't
have to wait for a dream. You don't have to wait for somebody else's dream. Sometimes we all mother
did you wake up in the morning, mother's dream. You ask your dad he asked her sister does anybody

00:32:15 --> 00:32:33
			see a dream about this decision that I'm going to make or not No, you don't have to wait for that.
You just go forward with it and put your trust in Allah subhana wa Tada. Some of the scholars have
said that you know should repeat this the thought of a loss of handles best that you don't really
have to repeat this at heart I just make a staccato and put your trust in Allah subhanho wa Taala
and go for it.

00:32:34 --> 00:32:37
			Now when making the staccato also.

00:32:39 --> 00:32:43
			When we make them when it makes a lot of istikhara. We

00:32:44 --> 00:32:46
			pray that is the heart of prayer.

00:32:48 --> 00:33:13
			And we have some of the scars I mentioned you have to have the intention of this to follow before
before you pray that particular sadhana. And it could be combined with another sadhana like for
example. Let's say you're going to the masjid and you're about to enter the machine. So you can
combine your selected to here to the masjid. Let's say the reading of the masjid with the selection
istikhara was selected.

00:33:14 --> 00:33:36
			So when you're praying the Hadith and mustard, you have the same intent what you have you have the
intention that afterwards or at the end of that prayer, you will make it an istikhara prayer and to
hear the mustard prayer or you can make it maybe with a prayer in the middle you know the two
doctors before you pray the final Raka or any sooner prayers you can combine with them.

00:33:37 --> 00:34:14
			So but you have to have this particular intention before and some scholars have said you don't even
have to have it as long as it's a sooner prayer after each sooner prayer you can just make it
harder. And so when we're buying anything again next time when you go buy a car, you know car
something that especially buying used cars right? Many of the new cars have these guarantees so it's
a little more evil, you still should praise the car because you have to choose which car is better
and so forth. But especially buying used cars when you press too hard on maybe that person might not
tell you that there's faults with that car or their defects in the engine or somewhere else. And

00:34:14 --> 00:34:48
			then later on you drive it for two or three months and you find out well there's a like the
transmission was about to be blown or something like that. But if you were to price the cottage
Allah Allah subhana wa tada what you will allow, or what we choose for you will choose for you in
sha Allah subhanho wa Taala and we'll help you in that particular decision. And if you're in the in
the mall or in the if you're buying something, because sometimes there's no plan, no time or
sometimes there's no place, but you need to buy you're not, you know, you want to go back home,
let's say you're at the mall already, and you don't know if you should buy this, or that is

00:34:48 --> 00:34:59
			something very important for you something good, but if you're buying something that's Haram, for
example, you don't place the card on them. Should I buy a TV or not, you know, the TV is bad. So you
put it aside. You don't have to pay for them. And so

00:35:00 --> 00:35:20
			You can actually just make the deal. If you don't have the time or the place to pray and your
timeframe for making that decision is very limited. So you just make the deal out right there just
face the problem. If you want, you can raise your hand and ask the Lord to handle it either with the
dualistic Allah insha, Allah Subhana Allah. Now

00:35:21 --> 00:35:25
			in sha Allah Subhana Allah as we mentioned, that staccato prayer,

00:35:27 --> 00:35:29
			if a person

00:35:30 --> 00:35:50
			praises staccato inshallah, this is something that helps you also to increase your mind and belief
in Allah subhanho wa Taala. So anything that happens to you, sometimes immediately you might make
that a particular decision, you might have made that particular decision, and you know, your heart,
like you feel like I should have made the other one and so forth.

00:35:51 --> 00:36:00
			This part of this The heart is that you asked Allah Subhana Allah to make you pleased with a
particular decision. And sometimes, and sometimes

00:36:01 --> 00:36:27
			that decision that you're making that you have just made, you might think that it's bad for you, and
there are so many bad things that are happening to you. Now, there are so many things that are
happening to you. And you might think that is bad for you. And you might not realize that it's
actually good for you until maybe 10 years from now, maybe five or six or seven or seven years from
now that you realize that is good for you. You know, like for example, I've just given a shot, lots
of hanno ended

00:36:28 --> 00:36:32
			with a personal example, in my own life.

00:36:33 --> 00:37:00
			And when I graduate after graduating from Medina, I actually, I never even thought about going to
Cambodia or Vietnam. I never even thought about Cambodia, or Vietnam. But, you know, one of the one
of my teachers he told he told me, he said, you know, you actually should go there because the
people are really in need. And you know, growing up in America, and you're going to go to Cambodia.
You know, it's like total opposite. There's no water, there's no electricity.

00:37:01 --> 00:37:42
			And there are no roads, or hardly any roads is dusty. No telephone, I mean, you're going to the I
used to call this the end of the world. If this is not the end of the world, then there's no end to
this. This is it. This is it. There's nothing after this, you just look and that's nothing after it.
And I mean, who would go there, you know, like leave all this and you just killed it. And you really
I really didn't want to go, but I certainly shall and spicy hot or should I go or not? And when I
play this color, it just came upon me said no, this is something that's obligatory upon me, I have
to go. And so I went in, I went Alhamdulillah when I went I Mashallah, you know, it's like, I

00:37:42 --> 00:37:45
			learned so much from him. I learned so much from Ivan got married.

00:37:47 --> 00:37:58
			And Alhamdulillah even though I don't have my wife with me, even all the problems that have occurred
and so forth, after and, you know, just after 10 years,

00:37:59 --> 00:38:13
			you know, even there are so many problems that happen also, but after 10 years, he says
Alhamdulillah that was the best decision ever. That was it that even though at the beginning, I
didn't want to go really, you know, it was like 9010

00:38:15 --> 00:38:42
			but I just prayed it, and afterwards, it was like the opposite. It was 9010 the other way that I had
to go, like immediately after I put my hands down, it was like that, that's it, I have to do this.
So and then Subhanallah you know, during the middle, you start thinking, Man, was that really the
right decision? This is really difficult. But at the ends of having you learned so much from it,
that you say Alhamdulillah and so many things happened because of it you say Alhamdulillah

00:38:44 --> 00:39:24
			so you know the istikhara prayer, you might not realize that it was good for you until maybe in the
end in the end you might not even realize that it will be good for you until you enter gentlemen,
Sudan Alhamdulillah I made this particular decision because it was good for me. All those trials and
tribulations and so forth. I am getting it right now and I wish more of that happened like all these
trials and tribulations more than that would have had would have happened in this life. Because of
the reward that you're getting a chocolate so praise the hot Oh my that my daddy my minister hora
was the Shara. You will never regret if you play a staccato and you consult for so long island ebina

00:39:24 --> 00:39:25
			Mohammed while at your side
