right in the middle of the Quran.
Surah number 18. If you open the Quran right in the middle, separate half the beginning
and open halfway, you'll find a Surah cassata cough
this particular song was a very important song. And it's something it's a sort of that
everyone should read every single week, at least once.
Especially during the times that we are living in right now.
The Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, he said in a hadith and
most other ethical hacking, and Hadith alumium Hakim said the chain is authentic and other scholars have authenticated the Hadith.
He said mancora the Messenger of Allah sallallahu Sallam said mancora calf female male Juma Allah Allahu Mina nor Medina Juma
whosoever reads calf Sora to calf, this hoorah. On Friday, he will have a light or immittance of light
between the two Juma mean between during the whole during the week, he will have light north. And so this is it's so nice every Friday to read this one.
Why is this sort of particularly very important, especially in times of Phaeton in times of trials and tribulations?
Because it, it helps you, it helps it and it speaks about how to save yourself in times of hardship in terms of Phaeton and that's why the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam also said in Hadith Sahih Muslim men happy the Asha is in our lives solotica oh seven minute.
Whosoever memorizes the first 10 verses of sorta tilaka will be protected from the trials and tribulations of the job.
In another narration, the Prophet sallallahu Sallam said whoever memorizes
the 10 is Asha is min fers or the last 10 is a soldier calf will be protected and saved from the jail from the trials and tribulations of the digital and the Prophet sallallahu. wasallam.
also said men Adra can mean Kuma dead JAL sakara, Allah He Firewatch, Taka, cannon,
millet
whoever, whoever meets that the judge, or whoever lives in the time when he hears about the job.
Whoever sees the digital catch, then or the dead child catches up to him. Whenever you see here, whenever I read the first 10 songs or the first 10 is of sorts the calf and you'll have protection from the job.
So we know that the job of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam mentioned at that job, literally, a linguistically means the it comes from the root words of Dan, Jim and lamb. And this digelar is deception. The Arabs used to use this term to make
They used to use this in one particular contact context, which is, if they had a camera or any anything that they were going to sell, they use that to pitch the diseased part of the camel so that people would not see it. They would use this word dejima. So they could sell the camel at full price, even though it was diseased or sick, they would cover up the sickness. So this is deception. So that john is not just chasm or dadgad or anything like that. It's not fat and that jam is somebody who is a Great Deceiver is mumble Bolivar means it's even more emphasized. The Great Deceiver great deception. And so if you memorize this, these two of you memorize the first 10 and
the last 10 is inshallah you will, you know, stay away from the * out whether which narration and so forth is best to memorize just at least, if you can't memorize the whole Surah At least memorize the first 10 and last 10 is and read it every single Friday. Why? Because in it in it,
there are lessons for us to take from, and especially in times of trials and tribulations. This sort of was revealed right before the companions
moved, or were given permission to migrate from Mecca to have to Abyssinian during the time of the halifa Amara katabi Allahu Allahu he met a companion or he said he was with a companion by the name of hubbub of the arts. And so he asked him, he said, What did you face? What trials and tribulations? Did you face? the harshest the harshest thing that you faced from the aurash. And so he said, Oh, amirul momineen. Look at my back. And he totally opened up his back. And oh, my God, Ilan was astonished. He saw holes in his back, and he said, What is this? What is this black spots and holes on his back? What is this, I've never seen this in my life till today.
And so he said, above, he said, Oh, ameerul momineen to Quraysh is like fires, and they would put their fires with, they put their fires out with my back.
You know how you put fires out, you bring water if you want to turn our fire, but they didn't bring water. They put his back on the fire.
Imagine the pain and he said he could feel incense sense. The the the fat, the blood and so forth, sizzling on that fire on his back. And this is what they did to him
last night of knock on rhodiola, who and who also faced great trials and tribulations from his own family members. When he said La ilaha illAllah Muhammad Rasulullah. They used to wrap him up. They wrapped him up in Palm fibers or a mat of palm fibers.
And then they would have they would tie him in light a fire under him.
They would light a fire under him. You know how when you cook things you make a rotisserie and you start turning. He put a whole sheep or lamb. They used to do that to follow the law.
And but they didn't want to kill him.
They gave they put it high enough so he would feel the heat. But he would not die from it. And whenever he was thirsty, they would just give him enough water to survive and enough food to survive so that he would be alive to feel the torture.
And this is what the companions face.
Until the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam
gave them permission. And he said there is a king in Abyssinia whom anyone who goes to whom anyone who goes to will not be oppressed. So go to him.
So these people they faced a lot of trials and tribulations in Mecca. And the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, he said but al Islam over even was a route over even come by the for two ballyhoura
Islam started strange, and it will return back to being strange. So give glad tidings to the strangers
It will return back. These trials and tribulations will return
to the Muslims to the man. But it's also a sign of victory that's to come because following that, that's when victory will come also. But there will be times of great trials and tribulations. The trials and tribulations will be so great like the Prophet sallallahu Sallam said in Salina to me the from SMU Malik, not only Allahu anhu he said, Yeti Aleykum. Yeti, Allah ness is a man, there will come a time
that the people there will come a time when a person Assad
fee him Allah Dini he, the person who is patient holding on to his rigid religion, carbon, Allah junk, like one who holds on to burning coal.
Imagine right now, when you just tell you what happens when you accidentally touch a hot stove.
Like there's an automatic jerk reaction when you touch something like you know, because sometimes charcoal, charcoal, you barbecue, it's black. And you might think it's already because sometimes you can't tell. And so you might think it's already cool. And it's not hot anymore. Imagine grabbing that. What's the first thing that you're going to do after immediately when you touch it? Are you going to say what do I do now? Let me see it's hot? No, automatically, you're going to throw it. Like there's a natural instinct.
But imagine if that's your dean.
You know, it's your dean and you feel the heat. But if you throw it
that's your team.
You're going to have to hold on to the person who holds on to Islam. And we're not talking about part time Islam.
We're talking about true Islam.
We're not talking about modern Islam. We're talking about through Islam, the way of the Prophet, the prophet in the way of the companions of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam. When it's going to be difficult, these difficult times will come. And
so in times of difficulties in this time when during the time of the Prophet sallallahu wasallam, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi salam gave permission for them to go, but this surah was revealed during that time
to strengthen the Muslims, because in it is guidance for you to hold on to your deen in terms of trials and tribulations, and the one of the greatest trials or tribulations the greatest trial and tribulation and tribulations will come. For this omit the greatest pfitzner that has ever been created, or the fit the greatest fit and that will ever be fall upon this oma from the time of Adam actually the greatest fitna, not just this oma from the time of Adam alayhis salam, all the way to the day of judgment will be the fitness of the jar.
But why do we read this surah because it mentions the it tells us about four types of major fitna.
four types of major trials and tribulations. The first type pfitzner to Deen
when you read the story of us hobble calf, the companions of the cave, this is trials and tribulations in your religion. Holding How do you hold on to your religion? When people are being persecuted? When my Napa momento Illa you know builder
method they will punish and they will avenge people, punish people for no other reason except that they believe in Allah. Nothing else. And so how do you be strong? How can we become strong? What should we do when we have this fitna? In our religion in our Deen that is learned from the story of the companions of the cave, and we will mention in Sharla, the solution
from this fitna, the second fitna,
and this is one of the biggest fitness biggest trials and tribulations of the jail the time of the jail. His greatest weapon against the Muslims, against people in general will be poverty.
He will reduce people
to the state where they are they have nothing.
And then if you follow Him, He will give you the dunya but if you don't follow Him, you will be the poorest of the poor.
Now, imagine
A few years from now,
all the money that you have in the bank,
everything that you have in the bank,
all of a sudden you go to the bank, and you bring up, you asked for your money, you want to take everything out because there's a run on the bank, you want to take your money out. So they give you a barrel full of money.
You go into the marketplace, and you say, I need some bread and flour and milk for my family. And they say your money is no good.
Don't think that's far fetched. It's happened before
some of my friends who are living in the Russian republics. They told me that when the Soviet Union collapsed, there are very rich people in his neighborhood. In his town, they went to the bank, the banks gave him a barrel full of mud, gave them a bank, a barrel full of money.
They came back, they went to the store, I got to use their money. And they said your money is no good. They couldn't even buy a piece of bread with that money.
reduced to poverty, nothing.
So the second fitna,
that's mentioned in the store and sort of the calf is fitted to man, the trials and tribulations of the wealth of wealth.
That's going to be difficult in the times of trials and tribulations. The dunya is a great trial, Great Tribulation from that. The third that's mentioned in sort of the calf, is fitting into
the trials and tribulations of knowledge. Knowledge will be scarce.
knowledge will be scarce. It will be at a premium, but you will need it
because if you don't have knowledge, you will go astray.
It's needed more than ever.
Yeah, it's it's lacking more than ever.
You know, when you read the stories of the scholars before you read Sierra of Lima Buhari Rahim Allah, He said I learned from 1000 10,000 here 1000
scholars, every single one of them I took at least 10,000 Hadith from
that's during his time. And they had hundreds and hundreds of teachers when they studied under some of them 500 300 studied under 300 teachers. Now, if you looked at our site, somebody has studied under five, you say martial arts Ah, man,
or two or three even 455. That's like a lot. Already. somebody reads three volumes,
or three books, they come to the masjid.
They, the thing is, they just read three books. But they know more than most people in the machine.
Sometimes that's that's the time, the time in which knowledge will be taken away. And so this is the during the during the time of trials and tribulations, the asset as a man is the end of time. One of the sciences your knowledge will be at a premium it'll be the it's very hard will be very hard to acquire that knowledge. But how do you get knowledge? How do you acquire knowledge then? What's the solution that's in the story of Musa and further
the next fitna that you will face
during the end of the town the times that we are living right now is fitted to Seoul.
Authority fitna trials and tribulations from the authorities and the government.
And this is the next thing that you will face. So how do you save yourself from all of these fatal? Are these trials and tribulations all of these things are addressed. In sort of the caf, the last fitna is addressed in the story of the coronation,
when the story of fit of authority and also the story of the judge, and judge also is addressed there. So these are the Phaeton that will be addressed, and
that will occur. And that's why you have to be strong and you have to read sort of
every single week, every single day, every single week at least once. Read it once it is on Friday, every more every Friday morning, sit down and read, sort of telegraph. And then you will be able to see through the deception
you'll be able to read
yourself above this, this temporary life that dunya, the trials and tribulations of that. And you will be able to humble yourself and seek knowledge wherever you find out wherever there is knowledge and make time for that. And so the first story that Allah subhanho wa Taala mentions in sort of the calf is the story of the people in the cave.
These people were being
tortured, they were being tortured.
And they were being forced to even they were, they would have been killed. Actually, people were they were looking, they were looking to kill them, or stone them,
just because they believed in a lot.
And so because of the trials and tribulations in their Deen, just because they believed in Allah, and they were different from the rest of society. They were being tortured.
Instead of compromise,
instead of doing what everyone else is doing, worshiping whatever everyone else is worshiping, compromising in the religion and the way of life. They instead fled to a cave
and in order to, to look to seek the mercy of Allah subhanho wa Taala and that's why Allah subhanho wa Taala says, what it doesn't do tomo muy muy buena de la la

They were told,
now that you have abandoned them in what they worship instead of God, instead of Allah, seek refuge in the cave. Allah was certainly grant your mercy and provide you with help to safety. So get out to safety to get out of this trouble. So there's a time you it's always better to intermingle with the people.
It's always better to intermingle with the people and be patient with their other with their harm. If you can influence them, if you can spread this message. And so it's better for you to live in America.
It's better for you to live in America than in
Egypt and Saudi Arabia or in Kuwait or whatever wherever it is, if you can,
if you can spread this message if you're here to convey the message of Allah Azza Yes, McCallum Allah and so that they can hear the word of Allah subhanho wa Taala. You being here to convey the message is better than you being in the Muslim country where everyone else is Muslim. It's better to be a non Muslim country if you're here to convey this message. If you can influence others without being influenced yourself.
But if if there comes a time when it's just too difficult, when the shadow and the evil and the problems are so much that you are being influenced, that your children are losing Islam, that you're you're you yourself, you see yourself your Eman is just not there. And you cannot know you can no longer hold on to your deen then you go but it's better to be in dislike the companions like you will and sorry, or the Allahu Abu or you will Ansari
he he was the host of the Prophet sallallahu wasallam. When the Messenger of Allah son came to Medina,
he hosted him.
And the Messenger of Allah sallallahu wasallam was his guest. He took care of him.
When the messenger of Apostle and passed away
when he became older,
he decided to go out
and convey this message in jihad. And he was in the gates of the area of, of interest entered present a turkey, Constantinople.
And so when he was there,
he was already in that area.
And he was actually in his deathbed
and they told he told the people around him.
He said, when I die,
I want you to take my body. Deep, deep, deep into anything.
territory, as far as you can,
into enemy territory,
if you have to go at night to get deeper than do so.
And then bury me there.
Because I want to be raised up there on the Day of Judgment.
You might say, Why?
Why would he want to do such a thing? He said, because on the day of judgment when he asks me,
why did you do that? Or are you I can say, I came here, Oh Allah, to convey the message of La ilaha illAllah.
That's what the banyans had in their hearts. And that's who they were. And that's why we here are saying La ilaha illAllah, Muhammad Rasul Allah. Otherwise, some of us right now maybe, if they didn't have that zeal,
that respond, feeling of a sense of responsibility.
If they were like us,
in the same type of attitude, and so forth towards conveying this message, maybe we are here, we wouldn't the Muslim, maybe this area here, there wouldn't be a Masjid here.
But it's because of them. there because of that attitude, that they want to convey this message. So as long as you can still, practice your religion, and convey this message, then stay here, staying here is better. But sometimes, there will come a time when there will be too great.
When you will not be able to withstand it. You cannot save your children, you see them being lost. So you have to go somewhere. You have to get away from the influence of the city of the people of the society, in order to save your religion. And there will come a time
that you need you won't need to leave.
There will come a time that the Muslims will need to leave. Because the Prophet sallallahu Sallam said you should it's nearing a akuna hierro akuna higher melon Muslim random
yet about Bihar, Sha Sha Jabbar bamaca Patil, you feel will be Dini, he mean Alfie tan
said that time is nearing
when the best wealth that you can have is a flock of sheep or goats fall looking into this going from mountain peak mountain peak to mountain peak from Mountain looking for pasture for your flock. You're going there, you're leaving this society, because you want to save your deen running away from the Phaeton.
And so there will come a time when you need to do that. So in the story, the story of
sort of a story, a story of the men, the people, the companions in the cave, these companions, these people had to do that.
Because of the persecution that they were facing.
That's why they said when they when they came out, he allowed
them to flee is an abaya.
He said, Indeed, if they catch you,
they will stone you and others they'll kill you. Or they will force you to leave your religion, and then you will never be successful.
That's what these people were facing. And so that's why they escaped to the cave. They went seeking the mercy of Allah subhanho wa Taala. They gave up their houses, with air conditioned houses, right? So they can make their houses and their palaces, their people.
The place that they grew up in, they gave all of that
to a small little place.
That the cave so small, that's when the sun shines through, hits them,
the rooms and palaces that they might have had. They left all of that because they knew it was important. In order to hold on to the dean, they refuse to compromise.
And so the pfitzner will come but what is the solution?
What is the solution that's mentioned here and sort of the path what's what do you do to get away from this fits that fit then your deen
Allah subhanho wa Taala mentioned when he speaks about them, he says in the home, fits here to an ATM and will be robbed be him. Was it now?
Notice he said in the home fit here. These are young men, not one not two, plural group
group in times of fitna in terms of trials and tribulations when it comes to the deen you have to look for
Good companionship,
that is a requirement.
You cannot handle it by yourself. You cannot withstand the pfitzner by yourself.
You can't just leave everybody, you have to work with each other.
Even if you have to work with each other to improve
the situation that you're in, and you can't give in to whatever is happening. And there are some people who will say that, you know, when when those times occur, you know, when we can't do we can't stop people do. I'm Romero from Latin America, we just take care of ourselves.
You know what, okay, doesn't matter what happens to everybody, everybody else will just take care of ourselves. But that's not the thing to do. You have to hold strong together. And
also, you have to continue to remind each other and teach each other
and improve whatever you can you know, the Prophet sallallahu Sallam gave an example. Give an example for us. Of those the true Muslims who hold on to that Allah Allah Muhammad Rasul Allah, who will hold on to their Deen.
They said, it's like, it's like a ship, in which there are people in the ship, or passengers and people in the ship. And the ship has two decks.
The people on top, they have water, they're, they have access to the water, they have access to the knowledge, they have access to this and that.
And so they have it for the people in the lower deck, the lower deck,
they refuse they they need the water to, they need that also. So one of them says, You know what, why do we need to go upstairs and bother those people upstairs.
I mean, if they're not sending us water, we can do it ourselves, we're here.
Let's just dig a hole down here, right there, the water down there.
The people on top if they don't take care of these people, these people are the example like you know, the senators or so forth. Don't take care of these people, the whole ship is going to go down.
You don't prevent them from doing that. If you don't take care of them also, the whole ship will go down. And so in a society like ours, let's say you don't have children, and you see some of the other children, you know, not behaving properly. You have to remind them also the end if even if you have children and your children you Mashallah you teach them properly. But everyone has to pitch in. You can't just take care of your children because when your children come to the masjid, who do they play with? Who do they hang around with? They went with the other guys, the other people also, but nobody, if you do not take care of the community, put it upon yourself that responsibility, the
sense of responsibility that you have to in order to raise a child like there's a saying right there's African saying, it takes a village to raise one child to raise a child.
It's true. If you take care of your children only you don't you prevent them from doing you know from wasting time from watching these movies and things like that, Mashallah your kids are very good. But when they go to uncle, uncle's house, they hang around with uncles children, you know, are your friends, children.
Everything that you taught them has just gone down the drain.
So, it takes the whole community takes the whole village to raise a child. So you have to hold you have to be with good companionship you have to help each other in terms of trials and maybe trials and tribulations, look for those people and be with them. And
that will help in a good companionship will will help in that particular in that matter and that with that and that's why Allah subhanho wa Taala says after he finishes the story of this a cave What does he say? He says well spirit enough second I lead in either owner of the home beloved to Allah ci do Elijah while at
home to read Rosina
was the second and Edina you're the owner of the home. Beloved it when you read una vida, the patient,
control help yourself to be patient with those who call to Allah subhanho wa Taala in the morning and in the evening. They want nothing but the pleasure of Allah subhanho wa Taala and did not look past those people
did not look
pass those people. And so the fitnah in the dean, we have to have companionship and compassion for those people who are sincere, that you see them in a Masjid and be with them and help each other and strengthen your bonds with those people. You need the good companionship to survive in times of fit and in terms of trials and tribulations. And this is
you know, it doesn't matter if these people are poor. It doesn't matter if these people don't have money but if they're sincere, they love the deen they love Islam. That's what's important. So that's the first, the first trial and tribulation is, first of all, to remember to have good companionship. And always remember the euro. And always remember the euro.
And remember the hereafter. Remember the hereafter that will strengthen you and Charla the second story, you can read these stories when we don't have time to go in detail each story but most of us have already read read them. second story is a story of the two people that the two gardens, the one who is arrogant, he has been given everything is arrogant. And when it comes to the fitness and fitness of the of the second fitness that you will have is a fitna of Mal, fitness of wealth. And this is one of the greatest fitna also the Prophet sallallahu esub said indelicately Amati in illegally oma fitna fits into Almighty Allah. He said every single oma, this is every single oma has
a trial trials and tribulations. The trial and tribulation of my own specific trial for my own is fitness and man. That is the wealth. And so you have in terms of trials and tribulations, you have to raise, you have to really go above above and beyond the temporary worldly matters.
And that's why, during the time of the Prophet sallallahu, alayhi wasallam when the companions were making hedgerow everybody was leaving, the Qureshi, of course, tried whatever they could to prevent people from leaving.
So hey,
so I didn't see none of Rumi was a companion who had come to Mecca. And he was amongst the those, they call them. So hey, but Rumi because he lived with the Romans. He was actually an Arab. But he was he was sold into slavery. And he lived with the Romans and he spoke their language. So when he came to Mecca, he came as a slave came as a slave, but he was eventually free. And he started doing some businesses, so he did have some money.
He did have some money, when it was time to make his way to Medina. He was not able to leave. Because they captured him. They caught him. And they said to him, also, hey,
you think? Do you think you can just leave? When you were a poor destitute person when you came to Mecca? You had nothing? You made money off of us. Now, do you think you can just leave just like that?
You think you can just leave just like that and take all that money with you? No, you're not going anywhere.
So he said, he rose above this, this temporary, worldly pleasures and wealth. And so he told them he said it that that is that what's preventing?
Is that the reason why you're preventing me from going to Medina going to the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. If I if I gave you all of my wealth, would you let me go?
They gave you all of my wealth, would you let me go? So they said, Oh, yeah, go ahead, give it to him to us, and we'll let you go. So he told them, he said, Go to my house, under the doorstep, dig under the doorstep. That's where all my wealth is go and take it.
And so they went and they found what exactly what he had said, so they let him go.
They let him go. Then he reached Medina with nothing. He didn't have anything. The Prophet said a lot, so knew about his case and situation. It was a real to the messenger of the loss of the law and the prophets of the law. When he saw So hey, he says, Robbie.
Robbie had
said that was a very profitable transaction of souhei that you've made.
So Angela, how could something be profitable? Well, you just lost all his money.
He just lost all his money.
The Prophet Solomon said, Wow, that's a profitable transaction.
Why?
Because he loved the Messenger of Allah. So the lesson because he loved Islam, and all that money, those gold coins that were under his doorstep, it's nothing. If he can, if if he has, if he cannot be with the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, it's worth nothing. He'll trade all of that, to be with the prophets of Allah.
But Islam or even with the euro dollar even cannot be
a true believer about Islam study strange, no return back to the strange. So give glad tidings to the strangers. There might come a time when they might come knocking in the door.
You know, you came here as a poor destitute person, you're thinking about leaving.
And we're not going to let you leave.
You think you got rich off of us? You came here as a student, poor student. Got your Ba, Masters, PhD.
got money made money off us You think you can take that with you to the country? No.
You want to go Go ahead. But you're not taking your money with freeze your account. Ready to go. Or you can stay here. You can live like us. Which one are you gonna pick?
There might come a time
when something like that might happen. It happened during the time of the Prophet sort of Life Center. in Mecca.
A lot of people came here very poor, didn't have anything to get rich off of so you thinking just leave. Which one are you going to take?
Leave with your dean, or you want to compromise and live the way that they live and throw away your dean. which one you're going to pick,
you might come to that point. So the fitness the fitness that's mentioned here also is fitness, the wealth mile.
The third fitness fits into
the story of Musa
cPanel every single one, we don't have time to go through many of these things. But every single one of them you can spend,
you know we can you can spend hours and hours and hours speaking with us on the benefits. But another thing that's mentioned in sort of the caf is the story of Muslims.
There are a couple of lessons here for in times in times of trials and tribulations. The first thing the first casualty in terms of trials and tribulations is what is the truth. Truth and Falsehood
is murky. You don't know what the truth is.
You don't know what you should do. You need knowledge more than ever before you go looking for a share and you can't find one that's trustworthy, that you've that you can just talk to and he'll just give you an you just feel comfortable with.
So it's difficult, so you don't know what to do.
And then in this story also, there are not there's another lesson here.
In terms of trials and tribulations, there's a lot of deception. And the Prophet sallallahu Sallam said by near de la ciudad de,
between near the Day of Judgment, there'll be years of deception,
or the truth where a person who is trustworthy will be deemed a liar. And a person who's lying will be considered trustworthy
in times of trials and tribulations
and you know, when you read the story of
Prophet Musa and Fidel, what do you see? First of all, the first lesson here is that in order to save yourself in times of trials and tribulations, you have to have Waldo,
you have to have humility, and be humble. Wherever you find knowledge, you learn from it. And you take it even you find any little knowledge that you can get it to try to learn from it be humble.
Prophet Musa alayhis salam when he was asked, and the reason for the for his trip to start with was What did he say? He said,
they asked them right when Bani Israel asked him, Who is the most knowledgeable person or more Prophet Musa instead of saying, in returning you mean going back to Allah Subhana with every question concerning they said, You know, I mean, it's true that you know, he's very, he's very knowledgeable, but that's not the that's that's not that's not, that's my humbleness. So I am you know, who else I mean? Is there anybody else
that wants you to go to such and such a place and then you'll find a servant of mine, just go there.
Then when he went there,
then another lesson in terms of trials and tribulations is what?
In times of difficulties and trials and tribulations, appearance and reality
Not always the same. Something that might appear to be correct, might not be correct. Something that appears to be truthful, might not be truthful. But that might not be the reality. Appearance and reality are total opposites.
But you have, how do you look past that? What's the first thing that happened? Prophet Musa alayhis salam came with credit. I followed him when to learn from him that you know, you won't be able to be patient, but you know, he went anyways, he said, you know, no, I just let me go follow you. So he went and was the first thing that he did. They get on the ship boat and the people know, Fidel, so they let them go for free. It's like they're riding without paying. Okay, and they bring them across. After they bring them to their place. What does he do? He discovers he makes a hole in their boat. Like, man, he just just blew his mind way. musalla sam couldn't understand it. It's like this.
It's like, you want to go to the masjid. Right. You want to go to the machine, you're with your buddy. Like your buddies right next to you. Right? And you have another brother, who you know, he's a taxi driver.
And he sees that you're planning to go to the masjid. You know, you're planning to go to the masjid. But you don't have a car and you're taking the bus? About to take the bus right? So he sees it says now why don't you get it? I'm going to the machine anyways. And so because when he's going to the machine, of course he doesn't charge you. So you get in the car, you get in the on the taxi and the taxi for free. You get into the machine. And then your buddy next to you just start slashing his tires.
What are you gonna say to this guy? What's going on? What just happened? Man, you crazy Why he just gave us a ride to the Mustang. Slash his tires. What's wrong with you?
And what would you do? That's what this is exactly the same thing? Would you? Would you be quiet? Would you just like,
okay, I'll be patient.
Don't think that Moosa was not patient, but this is something very difficult, you know, you have to understand. So he's seeing something like this. This is a pious guy, you know, somebody who's going through the motion with you. Somebody who prays five times a day prays as soon as even is a very good brother, what how can you do such a thing?
How can you do such a thing? Prophet Moses, Allison couldn't understand.
That's why he couldn't, couldn't hold back. He called for his patient shower, you know. But that was just too much for him to handle too much.
And so what's the lesson here? But what is what happened? In the end? Why did he scuttled the boat? Why do you make holes in the boat, because there is a king, who's taking these boats. And these people are poor, if they would have gone back to the ocean to fish or do whatever they needed with the boat to make a living, they would have lost the whole boat.
But it's better for them to stay here today. And fix this whole so that they wouldn't go, at least they'll save their boat and they have their means of livelihood still
musalla some didn't understand that.
So in terms of trials and tribulations, Allah has turned trying to teach us, you know what?
reality
and
appearance might not be the same
as you might think something is bad, but it's
my some you might think something is good, but it's actually bad.
You might think this person is really bad, damn that guy's evil.
But he might be the opposite.
And you might think, well, the media is telling you this guy is really good.
He is trying to bring peace to the world.
But you know, what is the one that's causing all the problems?
Maybe perception and reality might not be the same. You read sort of calf, and learn from these lessons, these are just a little bit. And the last lesson is the pfitzner. What so what do you do you get it from here? What What do we learn from this? I love this and also learn to be patient with knowledge. seek knowledge and have Be humble in seeking knowledge. And the fourth fifth, then we'll go quickly, because I know I know we're running out of time
is the fifth of swords,
authorities and an oppression, oppression
from the from those who have power, people who use power they use power incorrectly to oppress. So what do you do? How do you get away from all of that? How do you free yourself from other Allah subhanho wa Taala when after mentioning you know, if we only had time to mention more about the story, a little part of Naina since very beneficial but in short,
read it yourself.
Try to reflect upon some of these stories. How do you get away from this? Allah subhanho wa Taala says at the end of the story, Paul had an appeal calm, serene Armada. say would you like us to tell you have the most, the greatest of loss in terms of deeds and actions that are done? Allah de novo Lhasa, even Phil hayati, dunya, homea, saben, and
those who think that they're doing good, but in actual fact, they are not.
Why? Because there are different reasons maybe just because of lack of sincerity. Sincerity is very important, be sincere, Allah Subhana Allah will help you and strengthen your connection with Allah. You have to strengthen your connection with other types of trials and tribulations. Don't ever leave solid tahajjud at nighttime. These are the times in which you need to be strong. You need to strengthen your connection you need to help from Allah subhanho wa Taala more than ever, and so if Laos and think about the Hereafter, and doing good deeds, and doing it correctly, that's why Allah subhana wa thought was at the end of the surah Allah subhanho wa Taala says, Paulina Anna Bashara
Miss Lu kumuha, La Ilaha Illa Hawaii from Ancona yo Julie Arabi folia mallamma anzali ha Villa de vida to be
said, say Mohammed indeed I am but a man just like you this revealed to me that there's no God, except for the one and only God and whoever wants to meet Allah subhanho wa Taala then let him do righteous deeds were righteous deeds. These are correct according to the Quran and Sunnah. And also sincere while I usually really bad that you're a be a hider. Sincerity is very important. And in these times, because when you're sincere, Allah subhanho wa Taala will help you and you will strengthen you. So these are just some of the lessons just forget going over it. But there shouldn't be any Friday, any week that you pat that there should pass by, except that you read this one. And
if you haven't, if you have not memorized the first 10 on the last 10 then start doing so right now. There's a trials and tribulations will be coming. Because the prophets of the Bible says there's not a single year that comes except for the year, that was before was better, or the year that comes after is worse in another generation. And so we asked Allah subhanho wa Taala to save this from the fifth and we don't want the fifth and we always ask afia just by the prophets of Allah license the letter to my knowledge, I do not say yeah, I want to see that the jazzy it might take a
while I can either.
go too fast. puto so don't ask about to get free from all these problems. pfitzner ask Allah supplicate to Allah. Don't want these things. Don't want trials and treatment. Don't look for it. Don't seek problems, don't look for trial and tribulation. But if it comes, ask Allah Subhana that not to test you. But when it comes, then be firm.
When it comes in be firm. We ask Allah to keep us firm and we ask Allah subhana wa to get the benefits from what we have learned and also to teach us from the teachers that which benefits us, which is our formula for was Salam ala nabina Muhammad Ali, he was so happy
