Now Hamdulillah, we've completed two segments of Sulawesi.
And one of the things about Surah, Yaseen, and all other sorts of the Quran, Allah subhanaw taala has very beautifully divided up the soil. Even though at first glance, it looks like these verses are not related to one another. But Allah subhana wa Taala divides up the sutras in a way where each aspect of the of the surah is connected to the other. And this is a science that is called the science of Manasa. But basically looking at different verses and see seeing how each one is correlated or connected to the other. And sometimes scholars of Tafseer, like enough Medora, he looks at verses and each verse and how it's connected to the other, right, and also in turn in terms
of the connections between different sources as well.
But there's also connections between different segments of the same Surah as well, because there's no way Allah subhanaw taala and he's the most eloquent of all is going to give a speech that is not connected, it is our lack of ability to find those connections that makes us the lead. That leads us to believe sometimes or assume that perhaps these things are not very connected. What I'm going to do is I'm going to try to show you the connection between the first segment of Surah Yaseen and the second second segment also are suited to a scene as well. So the first segment is divided into three parts. Okay, and we looked at those three parts. The first part is all the way to verse number five,
in this Allah subhanaw taala talks about the Quran, he talks about the messenger sallallahu alayhi wasallam as well. And then soon after, right after verse number five, Allah subhanho wa Taala starts talking about warning the people he says the tune Miracleman, so that you may warn a people, okay, so immediately, Allah subhanaw taala is now in the second section of the first segment, talking about what he's talking about warning people.
And then once that finishes, there's a conclusion. And that's an iron number 12. So all the way till 11 All of it is related to warning people. And he talks about the results of those who are warned and they don't accept the warnings of the messengers as well. I n number 12 is just a conclusion. Allah subhanaw taala says and this is what basically amounts to the fact that you know Allah subhana wa Tada is going to reward you or punish you for everything you do within this life. So that's the conclusion, you better be wary when messengers come to you accept their message. Now, the second segment also divided up into three parts also divided up into three sections. Each of them is
directly correlated with each of the three sections in the first segment. So the second segment, it starts at verse number 13, obviously, because the first segment finished at verse number 12, so from 13, to 30, is this particular segment, and all the way till verse number 19. The first section of the second segment, ALLAH is talking about the messengers who were sent to the Syrian Antioch, and in the first segment of the surah in the first section, what is it Allah talk about? The Messenger of God Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam saying you are a messenger in Nicola melon mursaleen over there, Allah subhanaw taala says, that is our cell now either humans Nene for get there will

people as well. Okay, so here's a warning to people. And over there, there's a person coming in warning to people as well. So it's correlated in that way as well.
And then the last section of the second segment, it's also a conclusion. And that conclusion is from Allah subhanaw taala simply saying exactly what amounts to the conclusion in the first segment as well. Allah subhanaw taala is saying that, you know, there's a day of judgment is going to come and I'm going to annihilate everybody. All it took me was simply once I had to annihilate everybody, and and we have pity for the slaves of God who didn't accept the message, because hereafter there
is going to come and now Allah subhanaw taala will start talking about the coming of the hereafter. Allah subhana wa Allah says, Allah, Yarrow can lacuna. abluminal rune,

Did they not see these people who rejected the messengers, and they were destroyed because of that how many people before them we had annihilated and destroyed and disrupted how many people before them and previous generations we had completely annihilated because they rejected the messengers of God as well. There is a court on the day of judgment and that's the court of Allah azza wa jal in which you and I will be presented before Allah, Allah Azza wa Jalla. We're in Kulu lemma. But notice Allah subhanaw taala doesn't say what I have to learn about. He says what I had to learn. This is an IRA for them who disbelieved. Why? Because the believer doesn't require any more ayat, if you truly believe
you've already if you truly believe you've already come to belief, so you don't require any more it anymore. And that's why Allah subhanaw taala over here, and even in other Iraq, because going to mention three it in the segment, now we're in the third segment, and in each one of those three ayat Allah subhanaw taala says, what I have to learn what I have to learn, and what I have to learn, these ayat are from for them who are who is who is he referring to over here with the pronoun he's referring to the disbelievers because a believer has already believed he doesn't require another idea for him to be believing, yes, maybe an AI is going to strengthen his belief, but he doesn't
require it for the belief. So Allah subhanaw taala says, we're here to learn whom will or will Mehta
and the AI for them happens to be the land which is barren, the land which is dead. Okay, the land which is completely barren and dead. Yeah, you know how we brought that back, that dead land back to life was a Krajina minha Hepburn, and from there, we release grains from which they ended up eating food as well. Now,
there's something important to note over here, Allah is actually talking about a phenomenon within within the world that is known as Forest succession or ecological succession. And that's basically when you have dead land, barren land, there's nothing there. And there's two different types of successions. There's primary and secondary. So sometimes there's absolutely dead land, okay, because of a volcanic occurrence which destroyed the land or because volcanoes dried, and you can't have any growth on there. Over time it developed soil, and that soil led to forestry. Okay. So that's the one possibility and the other possibility is you simply had something forest burned down slightly, and
then eventually it recovers from that burn as well. So Allah subhanaw taala is talking about this phenomenon of forest succession. And that is that you have barren land, and that barren land comes back to life. There's an ecological ecological miracle that Allah subhanaw taala makes happen how can this barren land that has nothing? It has no ingredients of life suddenly by the will of Allah subhanaw taala How can it come back to life? It happens because it's the will of Allah. A person who is literally a scholar of forestry is going to understand these things in a different way. But a regular person will still be able to observe the sign as well. Allah subhana wa Tada says, What's your fee ha. Jana Ataman healing now. And there we made gardens that were made of date palms, and they were also made of an Arab as well. They were made of grapes as well. Well

But specifically ALLAH lists these two over here, because the Arabs, they found these to be great gifts from God. And we know that date palms are a very common tree within Arabia and dates are a very common delicacy within Arabia as well. And it's a fruit that's very commonly available to everybody. Now, and now, when it comes to the grapes, the reason why the the Arabs they used to love grapes is because of the same reason a lot of the Western world and non Muslim world also loves grapes. And that is they make wine
out of it, right. So they would make wine out of the grapes as well. And they actually even changed the name of the tree of grapes as well. They used to call it the color more karma. gardens they most appreciate, which happens to be the date garden and it happens to the also the great garden as well. And there are a lot of different types of gardens but specifically I'll mention these two to stir up your emotions been healing from date palms and also from grape trees as well. What federal Nafi has meaning are you soon and over there, we ended up allowing water to gush forth in the springs to gush forth as well. So Allah subhanaw taala allowed the water to gush forth as well. And all of this is basically what I called and what scientists call today forest succession as well,
where Allah subhanaw taala takes barren land, and he makes it recovered completely, or he creates from it a complete ecological system. And that's exactly what Allah subhanaw taala is describing over here. Then he says the AquaDome infirmity so they may eat from the fruits is very important as well by the way, Allah said, so they may eat from the fruits. Allah subhanaw taala is not making reference to the drinking that they used to do from these two trees as well because they would also drink then a bead of dates as well because you can make alcohol out of dates. You can make alcohol out of grapes as well. Allah says liat coutume, in summary, so they may eat from the fruits not
drink from, from the alcohol that comes from there, when I mean to add him and whatever. And whatever their hands had made as well whilst their hands had not made all of this. Now, let me explain this and I'll pause here for a second. The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam he said in a hadith that the alcohol happens to be from these two, these two trees. And over here, Allah subhanaw taala is mentioning both of those as well the date palms and the grapes. And then Allah subhanaw taala says Leah coulomb In February he so that they may eat from its fruits and that's a that's basically a pointer over here. And that's basically an a shadow over here. That's basically a
suggestion over here, a very subtle suggestion that I'm not encouraging drinking from these trees. I'm telling you to simply eat from these trees. Why am I mean to add him whilst their hands hadn't been the ones with prepared this? Because you just go over there and you pick the fruit. Your hands don't actually prepare that fruit. Right? Allah subhanaw taala is the one who allows that fruit to occur as a natural phenomenon. You don't have to go and prepare the food. It's not like it's not like other foods. You don't have to go prepare these fruits, you're already prepared for you. They're already presented to you, you just have to go and pick them. Allah subhanaw taala says, A
fella has grown these beautiful fruits I've given them these beautiful gardens I'm giving them wouldn't they be grateful, aren't it? Are they not thankful to Allah subhanaw taala and all of this is why? Why is the sign being mentioned? Allah subhana wa Taala is trying to tell these people who are disbelieved in the Hereafter, that they will be resurrected. And that's very easy for Allah subhanaw taala just as it's very easy for Allah subhanaw taala to take a completely destroyed and and destructed land and bring it right back to life. And just as Allah subhanaw taala can take the volcanic occurrence. This just left a lot of residue over there, turn it into soil, allow a complete
ecological system to be formed there and everything comes back to life and there's water, there's rivers, there's fruits, and there's vegetation. All of that is happening from a completely barren land. You
If Allah subhanaw taala can do that before your very eyes. Is it quite plausible that Allah subhanaw taala is also capable of bringing you back to life just as he brought this land back to life as well? when we malah moon and this is an indication that there are beings within this world that perhaps we are unaware of, and perhaps even outside of this world as well. They may be extra terrestrial or they may be beings that happen to be beyond our reach and our imagination. And Allah subhanaw taala makes that makes a comment over here that's alluding to that as well. I asked Allah subhanaw taala to grant us the ability to be grateful to him, to thank him to appreciate his gifts to us and to humanity and to recognize these signs of Allah subhanaw taala poet says with equally che in law who is when they don't know Allah and who are doing everything, Allah subhanaw taala is pleased to sign
