Abdelrahman Badawy – What do Muslims believe about the Messiah

Alright. Here are 4 things Muslims believe about

the Messiah. Number 1. Well, we believe in

a Messiah. So, I think that needs to

be said because not everybody knows a person

who will come at the end of times

and there will be peace and prosperity under

his leadership. Number 2, the Messiah will be

Jesus Christ himself. Yes. The very same one

from roughly 2000 years ago. And we don't

say this metaphorically. It's not like somebody who's

gonna have his teachings or his character.

Jesus, son of Mary himself will return.

Number 3. This is a very important one

because there's a lot of confusion about it.

Repentance will be accepted when he returns. I

don't know where people get this other belief

that it's gonna be doom and gloom for

the non believers. If you have not believed

in him up to that point, then it's

over for you. No. No. We don't believe

that at all. Whether a person is Christian,

Muslim, Jewish,

any other faith. No faith at all. The

door of repentance will be open for people

to return to God and follow the leadership

of Jesus. And number 4, he will not

only be a spiritual leader but a political

one as well.
