Abdelrahman Badawy – Most important job of all!

Are you a mother? Are you a father?

Then you have the most important job of

all, and that is raising the next generation

of Muslims to be resilient, to have iman

in their hearts. Believe me, if we do

not have a foundation of iman, nothing else

matters. It's a springboard through which everything else

can grow inshallah. Teach your children the history

of our ummah, the history of Palestine, that

it is a Muslim issue, that oppression to

one person of mankind is like oppression to

the rest of us. And we can stand

up for everybody, Muslim or not, who is

being oppressed. You need to teach these values

to your kids because they're not gonna get

it at school, they're not gonna get it

on TV, so it has to be you

to make sure that your house is a

place where heroes are being raised, and that

is the most important job of all.
