			Salam alaykum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh.
		

			I welcome you all to this two day weekend seminar, the unfolding tree at the sea of surah Yusuf,

blessed gathering, a gathering that has come together to learn the most noblest of knowledge, a
gathering that has come together to study a surah from the book of Allah subhanho wa Taala Allah, Al

writings of the scholars, many personal experiences myself that I have come across that will be
shared with you during our sessions together. And Allah has blessed me to teach the surah on an
		

			international platform, I've traveled to many countries teaching it as well. And I can promise you
that every time I teach it, there's some new lesson that I gather from it and share with the crowd
This is how amazing the Quran is. We always derive from the secrets of the Quran as Allah subhanho
wa Taala unlocked our hearts to it magnanimous lessons that have a high level of impact in our
lives. So this is the Quran and this is what inshallah my objective is from our weekend together is
to highlight to you how applicable the Quran is in our lives and how the grind is not a book that's
really read. But the essence behind it revelation is that as we had our brother sell man, when he

the Tafseer of surah Yusuf it is a type of Tafseer it can be called seed, but I want to highlight it
being two days together where we ponder over the lessons behind the ayah in Surah Yusuf and this is
what we will do with illa hytera. Yes, we are some portions that are Tafseer heavy, so that you have
a feel of what the scholars are how the scholars have to deal with the text, but it's a sort of
		

			coming together of what all the scholars have to say and some scholars do this tafsir de Buri, where
they actually extrapolate and extrapolate and you see that the Quran is
		

			Depending on where it's read, gives you an understanding. So Pamela, I've read surah Yusuf in the

don't ever give up the opportunity to teach this particular surah and matters of the Quran is always

and sisters, first things first, we just said how blessed this gathering is. Thus, at this juncture,
before we start dealing with the surah, we must talk about intention, we must speak about intention,
that you've all come here and you will walk away at the end of our time together, having truly
benefited truly benefited. I'm not talking about having ascertain some form of knowledge or
		

			ascertain to panela how amazing the Quran is. And inshallah Allah will give you this understanding,
I'm talking about benefit in its totality. And that starts or that is a package that includes in it
as building our agenda from the time we leave our home, till the time we get back.

			This is it has to be included in the package. We are engaged in the worship of Allah subhanho wa
Taala.
		

			This is the worship of Allah subhanho wa Taala. And I didn't ask you for because of time, but I'm
pretty sure through experience, I'm pretty sure I would have got the same answers here. If I asked
you why did you come you say to learn about surah Yusuf, someone will say to understand the for
animal, someone will say to help me with Arabic language.
		

			It will revolve around the theme of learning. I want to take you beyond that theme. and say,
		

			You are not here to learn primarily. You are here to worship Allah subhanho wa Taala. This is the
objective behind you being here. The means to attaining that objective is education through the
study of the Quran, that's the means to an end. What's the end of Allah subhanho wa Taala for his
pleasure. There's a difference, if you here to learn. It's not a pure intention.
		

			It's pure, it's Noble.
		

			But let's make it pure. Let's say I'm here for the sake of Allah.
		

			I'm engaged in worship. How have I engaged in worship, through the study of surah Yusuf? Is this
clear? So purify your intentions, my dear brothers and sisters, purify them? Allah says, Allah
qumola at bigger countries of Allied Allah subhanho wa Taala will teach you. So live for Allah
subhanho wa Taala. Live for him. Make everything for the sake of Allah. Never, ever do any act and
make that act and end in and of itself. Every act should be a means to an end. What's the end, the
worship of Allah subhanho wa Taala the worship of Allah subhanho wa Taala. So this is important. My
dear brothers and sisters, as I said, we're going to be going through this is from the pillar or
		

			worldview of the book. And we will take an extrapolate lessons. Write down what you can, but I don't
want you to become lost quote unquote in translation, where you try to write down and we move
forward to other lessons. And then because you're writing one, you missed two or three and then
catch up with me on the fourth. I would prefer for you to focus, seek forgiveness from Allah
subhanho wa Taala. So you open your hearts and
		

			absorb as much as you can absorb as much as you can. Try and follow through absorption inshallah,
when you read the surah yourself afterwards, realities will come to light from that which you've
absorbed, meaning what you've learned.
		

			Insha Allah you will remember as the brothers are saying, inshallah, you will have material recorded
material to ascertain that which you might have lost so, I want you to focus so we take maximum
benefit because the law he is the law he exactly everybody any questions thus far?
