As-salāmu ʿalaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
Four times in the glorious Qur'an, Allah
has mentioned the following phrase,
Allah is pleased with them and
they are well pleased with Him.
What does it mean?
And where exactly this phrase was mentioned in
the Qur'an?
As I said it was mentioned four times.
In order it was mentioned in surah al
-Ma'idah, chapter number 5, ayah number 119
and this is the ayah which we are
going to dissect shortly insha'Allah.
Then in chapter number 9, surah al-Tawbah,
ayah number 100.
And in surah al-Mujadilah, chapter number 58,
ayah number 22.
And finally in surah al-Bayyinah, chapter number
98, ayah number 8,
In surah al-Ma'idah, chapter number 5,
ayah number 119, after Allah the Almighty informed
us about what will take place on the
Day of Judgment and the dialogue which will
happen between Allah and Jesus peace be upon
him, when he will ask him whether he
asked people to worship him and his mother
instead, then he will disown his people and
If you punish them, they are your servants.
I didn't tell them to worship other than
you.
Then by the end, Allah subhanahu wa ta
So Allah the Almighty will say on
the Day of Judgment, this is the day
when the truthful will benefit from their truthfulness.
For them, there will be gardens beneath which
rivers will be flowing.
They shall abide in such
heaven forever, eternally.
Allah
is pleased with them and they are well
pleased with Him, with His givings, with His
reward, with His compensation, with what He bestowed
upon them.
That is indeed the ultimate success.
Allah the Almighty is pleased
with the believers who are pleased with Him.
When the believers on the Treaty of Al
-Hudaibiyah sat and gave the Prophet ﷺ the
Pledge of Allegiance beneath the tree to sacrifice
their lives for the sake of Allah, Allah
revealed in Surah Al-Fatih
And they
were fourteen hundred companions, so Allah declared that
He is pleased with all of them.
When Ahlul Jannah, the dwellers of Paradise, may
the Almighty Allah make me and all of
you among them and all our loved ones
end up in heaven insha'Allah, the Almighty
Allah will address them
Are you happy?
Are you pleased?
Are you okay?
Do you want anything else?
So they say, Oh Allah, of course we
are happy.
What could be better than what we are
having right now?
You forgave us our sins.
You admitted us to Paradise.
You saved us against hellfire.
Is there anything bigger than that?
He said, Yes indeed, there is.
What is it?
To grant you
my rizwan, my pleasure, so I will never
be displeased with you.
And as a result of that, the Almighty
Allah would allow them to get to see
Him.
For those who did
good, الحسن يعني Paradise and there is even
more for them.
What is more?
To get to see Allah SWT and that
is indeed the greatest pleasure.
So brothers and sisters, when you check out
the ayat in which Allah said رَضِيَ اللَّهُ
You realize that it begins
all from here, from this dunya.
You gotta be pleased with Allah as the
only Lord, who is the only one who
is worthy of worship.
Pleased with His decree, with what is good
and what looks like bad.
And that's why
brothers and sisters, in the hadith it is
highly recommended to recite in the morning and
in the evening three times on daily basis
Which means, I am pleased
with Allah as my Lord, with Islam as
my religion and with Muhammad ﷺ as نَبِيًا
A prophet and a messenger.
And guess what, in the 7th hadith, whoever
says that in the morning three times and
in the evening before sunset three times وَجَبَتْ
It will be due for him
to enter Paradise.
There is another hadith, another narration which says
three times in the morning and likewise in
the evening it will be due upon Allah
to please him and to make him happy
on the Day of Judgment.
May the Almighty Allah be pleased with all
of us.
